This H-mart has some of the best sushi in here. Don’t leave without getting some sushi. This is the one place that has a real live King Crab. There’s all kinds of seafood and produce here. There is also a restaurant inside the store that serve good food. The traffic in this area is very busy so prepare yourself

Great Korean food in the back. The ready made sushi and dumplings were also excellent. This is one of the best H Marts Ive visited. I highly recommend it.

Was able to find most vegetables and goods we wanted. They also have Japanese canned coffee, Jamaican brands and breadfruit, and delicious kimchee. But dont forget your own shipping bags or they eagerly charge you per bag.

Love this place! Wide selection of fruits and vegetables, bakery, fresh sushi, and Asian cosmetics. It’s my go-to every few months for rice cakes and kimchee, but you need to get there early as the rice cakes are often sold out!

Amazing. Their fresh fish dept is great. Probably one of the few places in the Baltimore area where you can buy head-on shrimp as well as salmon heads for stock. The Catonsville location is great as well, but the Ellicott store is better.

Its a great place to get that odd Asian item you cant find anywhere. The fresh fish/meat/vegetables are a great deal, but the items shipped from afar are expensive as expected. Sometimes you can find a great sale though! I recommend getting rice here, they have a great selection.

I love this store. I really do, but the quality control on the packaged produce is downright criminal at times. More often than not Ill see grapes or figs that look delicious and get home and inside the vine or under the side you cant see is huge pockets of mold. I bought these yesterday and took them out to wash today. The figs were worse and I just tossed them this morning before seeing these and getting fed up. Sauces and prepackaged variety is second to none though. So choose wisely.

Large, clean store with an eclectic assortment of goods. The produce is very fresh and includes a nice variety of Asian vegetables and fruits. For example, the bulk Kim Chee is something you wont find in a regular supermarket. A rare find is natto.

Great Asian Supermarket! There is quite a bit of variety in terms of groceries, and a fairly large selection of seafood and it all is very fresh! There is also a cafe, and a restaurant inside which is convenient. Additionally there is a sushi place which I enjoy. Overall a really great store, and great employees who are helpful!

Store is bigger than I thought it would be with nice various selections of groceries and cookware. Not to mention they have prepared food thats ready to eat. Think there are restaurants/bakery/cafe inside there also at the other end.They have competitive prices. If you havent shopped here before for Asian groceries, give it a try.

Great store in the heart of Ellicott City or k town as we call it. Youll find all your korean needs here as far as groceries, meds, household goodcrtc

We love this place! Moving from California, we were shocked to see the lack of Asian markets here in Maryland but so glad we were able to find H Mart. Its still a 35 minute drive for us which is far (in my opinion) but we still make the trek every 1-2 weeks to stock up on the Asian goodies, the next option would be driving into DC and we avoid doing that if we can. They even have a little bakery inside.

This place has everything you need! The produce is fresh and good and the prices are very reasonable. Their sushi bar and tea stand are also good and a nice refresher after spending a lot of time going through all the aisles of this huge store!

Today was my first time going to H Mart. It was a one stop shop for awesome dining, international grocery shopping and a bakery. Its only flaw is its so far away.

Im a big fan of Asian grocery stores. This H Mart is beautiful. Its clean and very well stocked. I could get my fresh fish cut exactly how I wanted it. The variety is great in almost anything. Its out of the way for me, but Ill definitely make a point about coming back when Im in the area.

I love this Asian market its clean and had everything I was looking for. The prices are reasonable and the seafood depth was well stocked. I would recommend this supermarket to friends and family.

This is one of my favorite H Marts. I love the selection and the produce is always fresh. It’s where I go to find ingredients I have a hard time finding closer to home and I always come away with something new to try.

Excellent for selective products and veggies. Store is not kosher conscious. Many products are lower cost than the mainstream stores, generally a serene atmosphere.

Variety of selections for Asian food products. Food court has an authentic Korean food restaurant, sushi, and fried chicken restaurant. I tried them all, and I love them all. However, I give four stars because some products are priced slightly higher than other locations.

This is my favorite Asian store. Its so nice and spacious. Everything is clean and organized.

H Mart is the store I have been looking for. They have an amazing selection of Asian products. I picked up an industrial sized kimchi. The store is well lit and exceptionally clean and the staff are eager to help.

Excellent groceries!! I love international seasonings and H Mart has it all. I recommend anyone shopping there! Cashier was extremely patient with me! I unloaded my groceries and had a taste for sushi. I went to the sushi bar picked what I wanted for over 2 minutes and went back to the register and the cashier was motioning me with patience to return to the line. Thanks H Mart!!

I liked it because it had all the things I needed. It’s always hard to find meat that’s specifically used for Korean BBQ and they had it’s all. Along with seafood and my favorite shrimp chips.

Never been to a store where they a whole shelf lane, (dedicated to all different types of Soy sauce flavors literally.) A lot of the (Spanish) employees were very helpful, unlike the one (Korean) female clerk working in customer service... Along with other Korean females who wouldnt help with my purchase list.....

I stopped by there yesterday after celebrating a late mothers day with my mom and aunt. I was having a good time looking through all the cute supplies. We were looking through some rice cookers and the older lady with the short bob hair that works there stood 2ft behind my mom (not giving space, even with covid). Not asking us if we needed anything. Nothing. I went up and asked her if she needed anything or if we were in her way, she brushed me off. Like whack her hand towards me to go away. Then proceed to follow us through the whole store when we were having trouble finding some ingredients. (Might be strange but I notice after she walked away from us, she approached a man to check that rice cooker aisle after. I was standing in the opening waiting at the register)Overall, customer treatment was rude and treated poorly. Items are good, just have a hard time finding them. Definitely not going to go to that specific H Mart in the future.

I LOVE experiencing this store, its an Asian run standard size grocery store. Id say 20-25% of stock is usual american brands. Ive gotten more great cooking results by shopping here. Ive also never known of so many kinds of produce.

Offers delivery to the Ellicott city area through instacart. Was a bit dissapointed that instacarts inventory system is not organized & many products I ordered was not available and neither was the substitutions I requested for the products that were not available.Ive been inside here and because of that Id love to give 4 stars knowing the decent set up in store. Good decent selections of produce, poultry, seasonings, beauty products, and snacks.

Stumbled across this little gem on the way back to Maryland. H Marts are aqesome; THIS one was spectacular. Great variety, love the staff (they have no problem helping you if you dont understand ).

We go here often for their huge selection of fresh produce and seafood as well as various Asian foods, sauces, teas, etc. The sushi restaurant in the store is also delicious. I recommend their shrimp tempura roll!

This H mart is located at the intersection of Rt 40 and N Ridge Road in Ellicott City.I love the shopping experience there. All products are nicely displayed. There are many stations to taste various products. Cashiers are fast and courteous.It offers good selections of produce and home goods.Parking is also easier. I like shopping there more than Lotte across the street.

I live 40 min. away but I come her once every two weeks to get what I need for the house. The produce here is always top notch and always clean inside.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, I bought seasoned pork belly and bulgolgi from H-mart and cooked them on a griddle for homemade Korean barbeque.

I tend to go here when its not super crowded - it definitely makes the shopping experience much more peaceful, less stressful, and gives me the chance to peruse all the things. The store is immaculately clean and well organized. Would frequent this store more often if it wasnt located at such a busy intersection and I didnt have to take that risky left turn to exit.

Everytime I go to this Supermarket I have to wonder if the staff are on a break or not. I saw a group of them working in an isle fixing shelves and unpacking goods. Having a good time I tried to ask a question it took a while for them to acknowledge me then the answer was they dont know. None of the 5 people packing out not one knew anything. I went to the other supermarket once and asked for an item and the guy could tell me the shelf the isle and pointed me in the right direction. The fish department is another sore point. I stood waiting for service that came from a very reluctant server. When I came back between the 5 persons that were in the fish department it to 2 mins for someone to acknowledge my presence. Everyone was looking at the phone. I ALWAYS GET THIS TYPE OF POOR SERVICE FROM HERE. Their produce are fresh thats enjoy I keep going back

I like shopping here when I want to use lots of herbs and vegetables. The store is clean and well stocked. I just find it hard to believe that the workers dont speak much English. So when you visit u better know what you want and need.

A good grocery store with a stress on asian ethnicity. However, compared to Montgomery county stores such as Lotte or Great Wall (GW) this one has a little less choices. Seafood (fish) choices are not enough, it seems. I did not see what I usually see in other chains (in MoCo) I mentioned above. I even saw another customer asked three common fish (such as, tilapia, pompano, etc) and she got none of them.

This place is awesome. It has an unbelievable amount of fruits and vegetables from around the world.It has fresh fish (some still swimming) and collections of foreign foods (heavily Korean).Before you head to your local grocery store, swing by H-Mart first. You wont regret it.Happy shopping.

First time in this location. Loved this location. Not overcrowded. It is well lit and clean when compared to some other locations. I found the store also easy to move around as aisles wide. Ample parking.

I was surprised by how clean and well light the store was. Many of the H-Marts dont have good lighting and feel over-crowded, but this store blew me away. Kudos to the managment team!

A great place to explore new types of snacks and find everything you need to recreate your pan asian favorite foods

I have started coming here out of frustration with Walmart. The chief reasons being service and stock.I went here looking for some healthy snacks. There are plenty to be had. I wanted dried blueberries and had to ask. The store employee was happy to help and even checked a couple of places for me. They seemed eager to help and did it with a smile. Nice change!No blueberries as they are out of season but some nice dried cranberries were good and they no added sugar or other sweeteners. Healthy snack and that is what I wanted.As I walked around looking, I was impressed at how well it is stocked. No empty bins, pins or shelves anywhere. Employees were unobtrusively keeping up with demand. What a shocker!The one criticism I have is that the soft drinks are limited to somewhat expensive and exotic (for the generic shopper) flavors. While I like to try new things and appreciate the variety, it would be nice to have a stock of sparkling water for general consumption. A few low cost alternatives would be good to have on hand.I will keep coming back as this is a great alternative that is destined to be a regular choice for me!

I usually come here for my groceries. They have more diversity in their meat cuts. Although its more expensive then anywhere else. Most items are korean with small bits of Indian, Chinese and Japanese brands. Vegetable quality is good and nice variety. Tends to be crowded. The turn in from the main raid is traffic filled. Making a left out of the store is also accident prone. Inside the store also has a small food court and home items section.

This is a great place for lunch! They serve a fantastic seafood & noodle soup, as well as many other soups and bowls. There is also a variety of sushi and sashimi. And the prepare many different chicken dishes. There are also appetizers, like egg rolls. There are two separate cafes in this store, and two seating areas.
