I have never had such a horrible experience at a appliance store. Our fridge went out and we needed a new fridge ASAP we were told the day of purchase which was a Saturday that the following Thursday we would be able to have our new fridge delivered. My husband took time off work to make sure he was home for the delivery. NO ONE SHOWED UP.The day before we were told our fridge had arrived at their store Wednesday (4 days later after purchased), so I called Sears to make sure that our delivery was still for following day Thursday at 2:00pm and it was confirmed.The service representative the next day Thursday at 3:44pm told me that all deliveries were done for the day. And that our fridge wasnt going to be delivered the following Thursday, which would have been 12 day wait and our food was in coolers.. NOW our food has to be thrown out. I was so upset I asked for a full refund and we will be spending our money elsewhere. So much for shopping local. Sears just lost over $1800 SALE. FYI if your deliveries are between 10-6 why then at 3:00pm deliveries ended for the day??? Get it together SEARS.
I was told my appliances would be delivered today. No call all day I finally and called at 3:00pm and was told that I was NOT on the schedule for today? I was called 3 days ago that my appliances were in and I called back the next day and was told Friday! We unhooked our washer and dryer in preparation for delivery. The gal told me she would call me back and no call....it’s now 6:00pm. I am super disappointed! I bought them last week and payed in full!
I tried to stop by after work for some hardware but they had closed before their website said. They had locked up and left 15 minutes before their public closing time. That makes it difficult for working folk to make it.
Used their U-Haul truck to move my son.

Waited for service. Gentlemen came from beck finally came to help. Paid cash for appliance we were looking for. They dont have a technician to deliver and install.
Wanted to support local store even though the garage door opener was $40 more than comparable product at box store in Yakima. I decided to return it because I decided not to install myself. I misplaced my recept but even though the store is able to find my purchase in the system, wont refund because I dont have the actual receipt. Kind of frustrating. Opposite of the typical service these days of e-commerce and the box stores. You would have thought a small independent local store would be able to work it out. Learned my lesson.

Inexperienced unknowledgeable staff. Slow (weeks of waiting) to replace our defective major appliance. Apparently, they also do not answer their phone during business hours. All I get is four rings and a voicemailbox is full announcement.Updates: (07/09/2020) After a morning and afternoon of attempting to make contact, we got in the car and headed into Ellensburg from the farm to see what was going on. Sure enough, the store was dark and there was a small sign on the door saying something to the effect of them reopening soon after they finish deep cleaning the place. No indication given when they closed or when theyll reopen. No outgoing message on their voicemail explaining whats going. No indication of when we can get our replacement dishwasher. Extraordinary times can elicit extraordinary conduct. But sometimes, I suppose this just sort of happens instead.(07/10/2020) Attempted to reach out to the district manager for help at the email address below but havent received any response.(07/13/2020) Copy/pasted regional managers email address to assure no mistake and attempted to resend my email asking for help.(07/14/2020): Made contact with an employee at the store. Our replacement dishwasher has not arrived because the store was closed and wasnt accepting shipments (which makes sense, under the circumstances). Was told that it might come in this Thursday, but it also might not.
Prices are typically higher but quickly price match. The customer service is good. Some of the appliances are poorly made/designed.
My appliance order was supposed to be delivered today. I called mid-day to see if it was on its way and was told it was on the truck, on the way. It’s 7:00 pm and no appliance. I will change my rating if my appliance gets delivered tomorrow first thing. Otherwise, I’m disappointed.
Difficult to deal with.
Outstanding customer service. We bought a Laundry center, that was a tight fit. The guys used extreme care and diligence to get the washer/dryer installed. They were on time, and very professional. I was concerned that it wasnt going to fit, and the gentleman at the store said, If it doesnt fit, we shall deliver the next size down for free. But of course, they made it work! Thank you so very much. I shall be back to Sears for any thing I need in the future. I trust them, and I know they wont rip me off.
Dont let the small old timey store from fool you. This Sears homestore is much larger on the inside and very well equipped to handle all your home needs. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The staff was very informative and not pushy to make a sale what so ever. They gave me facts and tried to make suggestions based on my needs and it was very refreshing. I will be returning to make future purchases.

Owner put up a huge election Trump sign in a residential neighborhood close to three schools with bill is a rapist on it. The sign is huge. So distasteful. Will no longer be giving our local Sears store my business. Was trying to be nice and shop local.
Nice store and very helpful staff. If they dont have something they can get it for you. Always a great shopping expierence.
Not open when they said they would be, never answer the phone or return voice messages, and now the mailbox is full so you cant leave a message, which may be a good thing

This store not the same as it was at one time.
I bought a refrigerator in June and delivery was 4 hours late. The delivery person scratched the appliance as well as our entryway. They spent 5 months giving us a runaround about it. I wont buy from them again.
