Thought I found a quality company I was wrong. Installers don’t follow home owners requests for installs. The installers do whatever they want. Sent in pictures a week before the repair was to be done. A week later today on the day of the repair they ask for money to reinstall a shower curb. Would have been nice to know the day you received the pictures you wanted to charge for a repair. Not the morning of the repair.Your installer never said anything about the curb during install. If it was a safety issue or curb had to be fixed why did he install it in the first place ? Your company has terrible communication. You had my picture for over a week and canceled the morning of because I had to pay 250 for a piece of granite that came off because it was glued on and not put down with thin set. The warranty should still be in place because it was not installed correctly by your installer and came up.

We dealt with Chris from the Bowie location. First of all, the selection of stone was amazing! We had already been to five other granite stores looking for granite. And quite frankly, did not receive the attention and education about granite until we stepped into United Granite. Its an overwhelming process. But Chris handed us a clipboard and we walked through the store. Its actually a warehouse...and packed with many beautiful pieces of stone. Chris helped us narrow the selection down as we talked about colors. He is very meticulous. The project was for our Master Bath. We were so pleased with the granite and service that we had them put granite in another bathroom in our home, also. I cant say enough wonderful things about Chris and this shop. Even during a Covid pandemic, they got the job done, safely and quickly. Everyone wears masks. I did not feel unsafe. Make an appointment to view their selections. You wont be disappointed.

We wanted to reduce the size of the countertop in our kitchen. At United Granite we were able to find o piece of granite that closely matched what we had already. What we thought would be a relatively simple job of simply lifting the old countertop of and putting the new top in its place. Well it was a real challenge for the two men who came to do the work. We were in awe watching these men at work. We cant say enough good things about the work they performed and the end result of the new top. Clearly United Granite is THE go-to place to have your countertops etc. installed.
Be sure to inspect your countertop carefully! We purchased a white quartz countertop and realized there was a small orange stain after installation. It was embedded in the countertop and would not come out with any cleaner. We were told we had 2 options, either rip out the countertop and bring back or pay $150 to have someone come out a buff out the stain. When we asked why we had to pay for a stained countertop repair, Fred, the manager, said he had to pay someone to fix it and wouldnt take a loss. I requested that he talk to his supplier and get money off the counter and use that money towards my repair. He said he would see if he could and get back to me. That was weeks ago and there have been no responses to me following up. This review could have been avoided if they made it right, paid $150, and fixed their stained product.Edit: In response to the owners response: Yes, I did a pick up and install it myself. It was a 31 vanity countertop, I am perfectly capable of installing that by myself, especially during Covid when I dont want strangers in my house. And yes, I signed that waiver. And when I picked it up I thoroughly inspected it for the right size, cutouts, measurements, looked for chips or dings. Pretty sure a small orange dot is not something anyone should be expected to see, especially in warehouse lighting. So, either your staff knowingly sold me a piece with that stain on it or your professionals missed it too. I get it, mistakes happen. The fact that your resolution was for me to either rip it out and scrap hours of work or charge me $150 to buff it out with no guarantee is what is unacceptable.This is the second time weve used your services for a small vanity top and had a good experience during the buying process, so we were disappointed you could not work with us to resolve the issue in a reasonable manner.
I purchased granite countertops here about 2years ago...I still feel delighted every time I walk in the kitchen... love them! And I had a very positive experience with service as well.
Very poor customer service if this is your first time replacing your countertops. No direction given on the purchasing process, and with no guidance, the warehouse of unlabeled stone is a bit confusing. Unfortunately, we did stay around long enough for the sales person to insult us, so we will be going with a local competitor. The cat they have hanging around was great though, it hung around us through the entire self-guided tour.

United Granite helped me complete a small bathroom remodeling project. I had a stone vessel sink that I wanted to set on a granite countertop. The staff was very courteous and patient while helping me pick out a nice piece to accent the sink. Before cutting the holes in the countertop, I was asked to bring the sink and faucet in to ensure it was setup in the most convenient fashion. I was extremely satisfied with how the project turned out and decided I wanted a threshold to match the countertop. Fred and his staff provided a quick turnaround on the countertop as well as the threshold. After thinking my project was completed, I felt like I was still missing something. I figured I need to add a backsplash, so now I will be getting them to cut me a backsplash for the countertop to finally complete my project. I am big on customer service and was very satisfied with the level of professionalism, customer service and pricing. Being an African American male, Ive visited several Granite shops, and they seemed to not be interested in my business or uncomfortable with me at there facility. I felt very welcomed and appreciated at United Granite. Big thanks to Fred and the United Granite Staff. I highly recommend them for granite needs.
This was a horrible experience. We made an appointment at United Granite in Elkridge, MD and arrived on time. The guy that was working when we got there was busy helping someone else which was fine. We waited patiently for him to help us. When he was ready, he just showed us to the warehouse and told us to look around and write down what we liked. I told him we were looking for granite that is white with black and grey flecks. He didnt bother to help us find what we were looking for. The warehouse was packed with a bunch of options that were all mixed up. The labels on most of the stone didnt say if it was granite, marble, quartz, etc so we had no idea what we were looking at. When we came back to the guy to tell him we needed more help with this, he said we werent listening to him when he told us what to do. We explained to him that most of the stone doesnt say what it is and he couldnt even tell us what they were. We got very frustrated with his lack of knowledge, inability to help and the attitude he was giving us so we walked out. The customer service here is just awful. There are TONS of granite places! My recommendation is to go somewhere else.
After visiting all the regional granite supplier/installer facilities, we were most impressed with United. They had more selection of unique granite than anyone we visited. They were most knowledgeable and willing to take time to teach the perfect amount of info without being pushy or over doing it.They worked to exceed my exceptions In every step of the process from choosing the right slab for us through meticulous installation.Numerous times they would move slabs so we could what was behind or another cut.We were impressed with the accuracy they cut our counters for an absolutely amazing perfect fit to the walls of our 1965 house ( where contractors were not as precise with straight walls as they are now. United installers tackle each issue with our walls with experienced solutions for a perfect install in a not-so-perfect house.) Additional requests to improve rounded edges or corners were again executed on site to make a great counter even better by modifying something thought of at the last minute during the install process.We could not be more pleased with the United team as the supplier and installer of our new kitchen counters.What impressed us the most was the extra effort taken by the installers to make the counter exactly as we wanted even with the numerous obstacles from an old house.Truly a great professional job and experience....highly recommend.Brian and Pam New

The experience was so interesting and fun that we could not believe three hours had passed. We picked out our marble/granite that day. I am very satisfied with the quick corrective action on their part and the personnel who completed the job...thank you.Called to see about a repair, simply a loose bar top needs taken down and reinstalled. I was told we only do repair for customers, thats unfortunate because I am also building a house and need 3 baths and a kitchen outfitted. However I need a repair before sale of my current house!
I first worked with Eddie who is the managing partner on getting some granite for my home. The experience was great, he was very informative, and helped me make the right decision for my situation. After conferring with him for some time he passed me along to Katie. I dont have enough good things to say about her. She was completely responsive to my one off requests and endless questions. Always answered my calls and emails, even helped me well after my installation with some additional pieces I needed for other areas of my home. My husband and I got our granite counters here and were very pleased with the process - it was very easy and everyone was very helpful! I especially loved being able to pick out the parts of the slab we were using and which parts we did not want. Weve now had our counters for a year and a half and we still love them. We originally stop by to see what they had after looking at the 3 x 3 inch stone samples the big box stores have to choose from. What an eye opening experience. Actually, the only complaint I might have is the large selection of beautiful stone slabs that makes choosing the right one very difficult. We actually choose and placed a deposit on one piece of granite, then to fine and change our minds. This was never a problem for Eddie, our salesman who was patient working with us and very knowledgeable of the product. We also found a remnant in the yard that we both loved. This lead to working with the fabrication manger to create a beautiful one of a kind counter and backsplash for our powder room, which was never our intention initially.We were pleased with the professionalism and quality provided by United Granite and would defiantly use them again.

I shouldve done a review for this company a while back but life happened and I got side tracked. So without more ado.I needed a granite for our kitchen after an restoration team falsly took out everything to make money from our tradegy. I decided to do my research I went to several granite places only to find out they were all really expensive and just basically wanted to make as much money they could rather than be understanding of what happened, it was a very hectic and frustrating time. Thats until I found United Granite, not only did they give me a great discount but they also got everything done within two weeks and the work is still amazing. I cant recommend these guys enough. Aside from the business part of it, this company actually has a human part of it as well. Few months down the line we lost our daughter and after paying for expensive funeral costs, we couldnt afford a headstone so decided to get a nameplate marker made but still needed something to put that on, so I went and asked United Granite, and turned out these amazing people have a heart and family values as well. We purchased granite counter tops for our basement sink and bar area. The overall experience for this project was great. All of the staff that we dealt with was very professional and did a great job. The workers showed up on time and the did a great job installing the counters. Granite is expensive and if you dont need very large pieces make sure you look at their left over pieces to save on some really nice unique granite. We will use them again in the future.

3 years ago we were looking for granite for our kitchen renovation. We went to many places and NOTHING compared to the selection or customer service we received at United Granite. I recently bought quartzite for kitchen countertops from the Crofton location (which has since closed) for our new home and even though I loved the look of the stone in the store, we have had repeated problems with visible surface spots appearing. They have sent someone out to buff and reseal the quartzite three times, but the spots continue after a few days/weeks and I am disappointed with the finish. It was suggested to me that I keep the surface dull but this is not acceptable to me.

We first went to United Granite in 20010 to do our kitchen. We found it literally by seeing their ad. We loved the final result. It was done neatly and accurately. They were a pleasure to work with. We, unexpectedly, moved in 2012 to a new condo. We had it totally gutted and rebuilt using a General Contractor. He said, Go to the granite people I use. I expected that he got a rebate from anyone he sent, but we decided that was the right thing to do. After 20 minutes in the place, we both said, Lets get the h...out of here and go where we want. Back to United Granite in Elkridge for a second kitchen counter. This time it was kitchen, two bathrooms, and a vanity. Again, another perfect job. Visitors today say, This marble in your kitchen is beautiful. They are amazed when we say, No, that is Granite from United Granite. We could not be happier. I will be glad to post pictures here, but do not know how. Great shop, great people.
Im pleased that we chose United Granite to work with on our kitchen renovation. The process of selecting a slab, the edging and the details went smoothly. We worked with two gentlemen, one whose expertise was on the cutting and finishing of the slab, and the other who helped greatly explain the install process and spent time going over the measurments. We felt confident after the first meeting that we made the right choice, and anxiously waited for the install day. The actual install time was quick and they only had come back a second time to finish the plumbing portion. We very much enjoy the look of our new countertops. The selection in their warehouse is huge, and the work they did for me was high-quality and very timely. This was a small job, but they treated it as seriously as if I were spending a ton of money, and I will not hesitate to hire them when I have a bigger job--very, very pleased with their customer service attitude!

Well, one month later, this has been a wholly unprofessional and disappointing experience. I put down a deposit for a specific slab of granite which they then sold to someone else. Over the course of 3 weeks, I was willing to at least give them a shot at making this up but I was promised pictures of alternatives twice that never happened, I called and left messages about 6 times and never got a call back, sent emails then went unreplied, and they REFUSE TO REFUND me the deposit for their screw up. I am fed up and doing a credit card dispute. This has gone on long enough.
I had over 30 feet of Saint Cecilia Light granite counter top installed in my kitchen. My experience with United Granite, and Emily, my design consultant, was excellent. Talk about an indecisive customer! That was me. But Emily was super patient, as I looked at the stone (3 times), changed the splash back (2 times) and almost changed my mind about the sinks. As the project moved ahead, from first to last everything went smoothly. The stove installation, however, was a challenge. But after careful review by Bayra of United Granite, we established what the overhang could be in order not to expose the unfinished areas on the side of the stove. Thanks to this precaution, the stove fitted like a glove.The granite installation was smooth and flawless – the crew worked hard and efficiently and completed a beautiful job, with two under mount sinks. They provided levelling at every area where the underlying walls or tops were not level. The slab is beautiful and was sealed before installation. I love the Allora pull-down faucets provided by United Granite – really practical and stylish. Now I can cook in a truly elegant kitchen!Emily was a great person to work with, answering all my questions with tons of patience and knowledge, and keeping me on track. Thanks again Emily, and all at United Granite for a great job!

Horrible customer service. Went in asking for a quote for a new bathroom vanity and from the beginning, the girl in the office was of no help. First she Pulled my piece of paper out of my hand to attempt to see who my other quote was from, then handed me a clip board and a piece of paper and told us to walk the aisles and look for the specific granite that we looking for. Having never done this before, we did as we weee told, found the granite and went back in but didnt havent anything written on the piece of paper-but knew the name and group number. We were simply looking for a quote and can pick out the exact piece once we talk pricing. She couldnt do it without the info on the paper and when asked why she didnt explain the process or come with us she quickly developed an attitude with us and we simply said no thank you. On the way out I did tell her that she neeeded some improvement in her customer service and sales skills. She never apologized or attempt to make it right. So we left and will use another granite company. Very disappointed!!!

We are remodeling the kitchen on our own, outsourcing aspects as needed. For granite countertops, we worked with Chris at the Crofton location, which is/has moving to Bowie. We also visited with him in Elkridge, where they have their main stock. Chris is very knowledgeable and pointed us in the right direction, explained all the options. They offer a discount if you use a check, which we did.The measurements they took in advance of cutting the stone were spot on. We did have a problem at install, when we discovered a crack near the sink. Someone repaired it, perhaps the installer. So I was upset. I called Chris and he was very reassuring, saying, We will make this right. He did. They cut a whole new slab and replaced it. I was planning to do my own plumbing, but Chris said that they caused me an inconvenience, so he would send out a plumber to do the hookups. The plumber came as promised. That is old-fashioned service!In the end, we have beautiful new granite countertops. We are very happy with result. The price was within the range of other outlets, a touch more than some cheap places, but I liked that all of the countertops were slabs, not samples like some places do for lower-grade granite. We went with a darker grade B. Chris said that dark tends to hide stains, but grade D and above have a better seal. Cost was an issue, so we went with sapphire blue (Grade B), which is very dark with some light marbling, and has really nice blue pieces here and there.I would definitely recommend United Granite, suggest Chris as your contact, and let him know if there are any issues with the install. He answers the phone, he calls you back if you leave a message, and he makes sure you are happy with the outcome.
I just completed my second project with United Granite. The first one was kitchen counter tops and back splash. The second was counter tops for each of the vanities in my two bathrooms. I am VERY happy with the finished results of both. I LOVE the natural stone selection they have at the Elkridge store - so many choices and each one more beautiful than the one before. The sales staff, especially Nur Durdag, are super helpful - very knowledgeable in answering questions and making suggestions for your projects. They definitely go the extra mile in helping you make the best selection and explaining fabrication options. Added to that, they are very friendly and make you feel comfortable and welcome in the store. Im looking forward to my next project with them already!
We had a project for our Community Center in Gwyn Oak location. We needed a kitchen counter top and 4 bathroom vanity counter tops for the restrooms in our Community Center. I googled it up and United Granite, LLC came up the first granite business in the search list in the first page. After I visited a couple of places in the area, I wanted to pay a visit to United Granite too to see what kind of deals they have. I was welcomed by friendly employees. They showed me their showroom. They had over 250 kinds of granite slabs. I haven’t seen such a large variety of granites in a single location. I believe that if you can’t find what you are looking for in United Granite, you can’t find it anywhere else. I had a better price from United Granite then the other places I had visited. Their professional team finished the in less than two weeks. They followed up with our project manager. Everything went down so smooth. I am really satisfied by the service I received and highly advise United Granite for everyone.
I highly recommend United Granite. All employees Fred, Mustafa, Tim was very patient with me and my wife. When we went there we & surprise there are so many color of granite in stock. Even more in Crofton Showroom. Their suggestions and honest opinion truly made the difficult decision of selecting the appropriate slab for our project much simpler. I went in at least 4 times without an appointment and they are always made time for me and made recommendation for coordinated back splash and flooring. Once we made a decision, someone came to measure installed within one week. Installers also very professional!
My wife and I started our kitchen renovation process almost one year ago this December 2012 and we left the granite selection until last. We started by visiting many different companies and eventually ended up at United Granite in Elkridge, MD. That is where we met with Warren and let me tell you, he and his company had it ALL!!! When we went into United Granites showroom they actually had over 200 different colors and thousands of actual slabs to choose from. Since we have never done a complete remodel before we had so many questions and concerns, however Warren and his team put all those concerns to rest. From the start we were able to select our actual stone, see exactly how it would be cut and then finally it was installed without a hitch. Warren was never pushy and he gave us all of the time, knowledge and information for us to make a confident decision. There were many granite places we visited but in the end United Granite and Warren won our business. We purchased a house in January and searched a number of granite retailers. I finally found United Granite through a Google search and read all the reviews, which were all outstanding from previous customers. The reviews of other retailers were not of the same quality so we decided to go to the showroom in Elkridge Maryland. We were greeted right away and talked to Eddie about what were looking for. We had initially come in a few minutes prior to closing however, we stayed and looked around and found that there were so many choices that we couldnt decide and Eddie recommended that we come back and really take our time and look through the showroom to find what were looking for in a non-rushed manner. We did just that. Were amazed at the number of granite slabs available from all over the world in a number of different price ranges. We finally narrowed it down to about four different patterns. So we took the suggestion of bringing in sample our cabinets and tiles to compare with the final choices. We finally settled upon the Sienna Bordeaux. We arranged for the measurements and installation within a matter of days. I was able to go into the showroom and help plan the layout of my counters; it was very much a collaborative process. When the time came for installation, everybody was very flexible and able to meet our schedule. The whole process was completed in 5 to 6 days, which I find amazing! It was a custom job, reasonably priced and provided with outstanding service from the initial stages to the final cleanup! Everyone that we talked to was extremely friendly and helpful, like a close knit family! I would 100% recommend these guys for any of your granite needs. I was even able to have two separate cutouts (a double sink and the cooktop cut out) made into a finished cutting board and a new top for my prep table! Now that Ive been using my kitchen regularly, I find that I truly happy with my choice and my husband even says I did a pretty good job selecting the granite and that it really ties everything in the kitchen together! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR COUNTERTOPS!!!!! If I could give zero stars I would!!!! If you need to hear the whole saga I am happy to write it out... but in summary this company installed stained countertops and have yet to remedy this issue. Multiple no shows and no follow up, the fact that I have to micro manage this process is infuriating. I will be contacting the BBB and am considering taking legal action as well. There are 5 other countertop companies on Rt 1 alone, no need for this headache.

We all know that there are many Granite fabricators out there to choose from, but from all the experiences that I have had in searching for my new kitchen countertops, United Granite is a cut about the rest. Here’s why;ShowroomIt was very easy to find just off Rt. 1 in Elkridge. It was very clean with nice displays which inspired lots of ideas for what I could add to my custom made creation.Stone SelectionThey have tons of marble, granite and onyx slabs to choose from in both there indoor and outdoor stone yards. They even let you choose which unique slab you want them to use for your project. That part was really fun!Customer ServiceMy wife and I were greeted immediately as we walked through the front door and helped with answers to all of our questions in a very friendly and timely fashion.PricingAlthough they may not be the cheapest, they have a system in place that is designed to fit almost any budget. Basically how it works is they mark each slab with a letter A,B,C,D,E etc. . The letters indicate the pricing group for the slab for example A is the least expensive and it gets gradually more expensive as you go up the alphabet.Additionally, they have set-up a payment option system that offers discount incentives depending on your preferred payment method. Ex. If you pay cash you pay less and if you pay credit you pay a little more.Timeline for InstallationWoW! This is the part that really blew my mind! From the time my wife and I put down a deposit to the time the counters where delivered and installed “ONLY TOOK FOUR DAYS” incredible!WorkmanshipAs I said in the beginning, they are simply a cut above the rest. The cuts were very precise and all surfaces of our stone were polished to perfection. The installation was equally as impressive and the joints where the sections of granite were put together are very discreet and barely noticeable.OverallWe could not be happier that we chose United Granite and will likely use them again for any future projects that we already have in mind such as a new vanity top and a Fireplace surround. They really did a great job with the budget we were working with!
My husband and I only have positive things to say about our experience using United Granite and Marble for our kitchen re-do. The proprietors obviously take pride in the great selection of granite they have available, and are happy to answer all your questions about the marks of quality in each piece. As comparison shoppers, we can say the prices are extremely competitive. Measuring was scheduled promptly after our slabs were reserved, and installation was a few days after that - very quick and painless.Our only mess-up was one small section of wall where we only realized after the fact that the kitchen would look unbalanced without one more section of backsplash. That was installed promptly and graciously.If you work with United, my only piece of advice is to remember that youre dealing with a supplier and installer, and bypassing the middleman by cutting out a design consultant. Whatever you ask for theyll address in terms of whether they can install it the way youve requested, or cut it with corners and edges just as youve requested. In other words, dont count on United to tell you, We wont install it the way you asked for because it would look stupid. Theyll confine their input to whether the project is doable (for instance, if you want the granite coming out more than 10 over a counter, youll need brackets to bear the weight).Thats not meant as a criticism -- on the contrary, its nice to know that theyll have your back in terms of keeping you from doing anything thats structurally unsound. But if you arent known for your innate sense of design, you should probably call on design experts first, to give you a really clear idea of what you need where. Come in to United Granite with a clear idea of what you need where, and whether youre committed to doing the maintenance involved with different surfaces, and I guarantee theyll deliver what you want.One other thing: we chose very uniform slabs of granite, with evenly distributed flecks in it - no big color variations, so we didnt have any issues about where should we place that lovely streak in the granite for optimum effect? But United has some stunningly beautiful pieces with dramatic streaks and variations. We saw some slabs that customers had picked out, and there were *extremely* precise marking to show *exactly* where to cut a hole for the sink and *exactly* what angle to cut the slab on, as indicated by the buyers. If you like taking that level of control in a project, instead of saying I dont know - surprise me!. you will love working with United.Finally: ask to see Tims Van Gogh slab, if its still there. Better yet, bring a bottle of wine, a few lawn chairs, and just park yourself in front of that slab for a few hours admiring it. If youre an atheist, you might change your mind after contemplating the wonderful forces of nature that could create such beauty.
Service was awsome. Went in on a Sunday to look over granite. Met with Tim on Monday morning to finalize. Measurments completed on Friday same week. Reviewed & okd the cuts the next Tuesday and installed on that Saturday. From the moment I walked in on a Sunday and met with Tim to the Tuesday we met with Mustafa the shop foreman the customer service was awesome. Oh and did I mention this was 2 weeks before Christmas and rhey didnt skip a beat. Then to top it all off installation was fabulous it looks great and we feel like we got a good deal. Would certainly recommend them to the homeowner or the business.
Countertop installation companies can be as ubiquitous as pizza shops and like them, come in national franchise variety, regional chains or local establishments. Unlike pizza, the cost is often thousands of dollars and youre worried about more than taste, temperature, and speed of delivery.My husband and I like to research and investigate our purchases and our decision to buy new granite countertops for our townhouse was no exception; we spent several weeks and compared three different companies, including United Granite. All three were reputable and one was a distributor vetted by COSTCO, of which we are members. We knew our rough budget and were mindful that we wanted quality but did not want to overspend on a townhouse. We visited Uniteds showroom one Saturday with our nearly three-year old and 10 month old. We were met by Tim who was patient and attentive, despite the antics of our kids. We were given a tour and provided with an introduction to how the company prices, cuts, delivers, installs, and bills for their products. There are a dizzying array of options out there for granite as far as patterns, colors, geographic origin, and lastly, finishing/edging.United Granites price was NOT the lowest, but lower than another company that was giving us a special referral deal at a much higher percentage discount. We would later find out that their strengths as a company are their attention to detail, straightforward pricing and customer service. We were met with a level of candor that you dont see as often anymore; buying any improvement services for the home has become akin to the mind games encountered at a car dealership. We were given three sets of prices depending on our chosen method of payment. Cash and check are cheapest and credit cards follow in two tiers based upon their interchange (swipe) fees charged- if you save them money in fees, they pass that on to you. We paid a deposit and the balance was paid in two installments, once when our particular stone was chosen in the yard and upon installation. We chose to use VISA for personal reasons, but customers are free to do otherwise.United Granite uses common industry names for various granite but labels them A through E in ascending price per square foot. The lowest prices are dense patterns of limited color variety and the most expensive are exotics with large veins, color variations and degrees of luminescence. We found that their pricing structure made it easier to make an informed decision.We were able to pick and choose our sink and wrapped up the plumbing work with the jobs price with United Granite using a subcontractor who arrived on the same day. A technician came out and took electronic measurements for the cutting machines; he was professional, efficient, and clearly knew what he was doing.Of note is that they charge less for some premium edges (full bullnose, ogee, double ogee, etc.) than other companies. This may not seem like much but when you see the price per linear foot for a premium edge and you get your heart set on the look for your kitchen, it can amount to hundreds of dollars saved over the course of the entire job.With a competitive price in hand, we proceeded with United Granite. They arrived on the date and time range agreed upon, tore out the old countertops, installed the new ones, and hauled away the debris. The plumber also arrived and installed a new sink garbage disposal and faucet that we had bought on our own.As to customer service, United Granite accommodated us on a backsplash replacement request. While granite is natural and can vary in color and pattern, the backsplash near one corner of the kitchen was a smaller piece that did not transition well color-wise with the rest of the counter. The contrast was obvious and undesirable. We called to have it replaced with a lighter stone; they cut a new piece and installed it at no extra charge, making everything right.In sum, we are pleased and highly recommend this company.

When I have research to do I turn to the Internet and the Google search engine. I place a lot of faith in the prior experience of my fellow man and feel this is the best advertisement money cannot buy. If the reviews are not good I move on. I found the reviews for United Granite to be very favorable and my wife and I paid them a visit. We worked with Eddie, the owner of the Eldkridge location, and he guided us through the process of purchasing a granite counter top. We were most impressed by their large selection and after many walk arounds through their wharehouse we made out choice. We also elected to purchase matching backsplash as well. They also carry a variety of high quality sinks and faucets and pass on their buying discount to their customers. I brought a fairly accurate drawing of our existing kitchen layout and Eddie drafted an estimate. We placed a deposit to reserve our stone selection. I am fairly handy so elected to do all of the preperation work myself. When I completed the removal of the old backsplash and counter tops I called Eddie back and he sent someone to take measurements. To say that the equipment they use to develop a CAD drawing is a little more accurate than a tape measure would be an understatement. The homowner is part of this process as well and is asked to be there to answer questions that will lead to decisions that will have an impact on the final product. Once the CAD diagram was complete my wife and I returned to take part in the layout of the stone for the cutting stage so that our opinion became part of the esthetics related to each piece. As we purchased the backsplash as well the installation was scheduled for two different days with a one day gap in between. The counter tops were installed first and then the backsplash measurements were reverified to insure nothing changed with the installation of the counter top. My wife and I are simply elated with the outcome. The entire staff at United Granite is very professional. From Eddie the owner to Omar the installer crew chief, they are all dedicated to making sure the customer experience is very satisfactory which strengthens your belief that you made the right decision for such an expensive project. They show a high degree of respect for your property and make sure they left the job site neat and clean. Their installation work is impecable. My wife and I were so pleased with our kitchen that we elected to purchase granite counter tops for our master bathroom as well. You can trust these reviews and United Granite.
At the end of a day full of challenges, I must take notice and thank you, your company and subcontractor partners for a high quality job which was installed beautifully!I had used the builder of my house as a General Contractor for the replacement of my Corian kitchen countertops. The GC who runs a kitchen renovation business as his primary trade charged me a premium price for the granite countertops he was installing. Within two weeks after the installation, the granite countertop had cracked in front of the sink. As it turned out, the granite fabricator he had used had gone out of business.After researching my options, I got a personal recommendation of United Granite, Inc. With 22 years of experience in the business as fabricators and remodeling, I felt comfortable of my choice. My rep, Warren Epstein was outstanding at his job! He was able to come to my home and take measurements and give me an estimate the next day. He recognized my Granite, and even though it is a relatively uncommon slab, UNITED GRANITE HAD IT IN STOCK! Warren was able to save very much money as I now did not have to replace the entire Kitchen’s countertops; I was able to replace ONLY the one which had cracked!All did not go well however, though at no fault of United Granite. Upon getting ready to install the new granite, it was discovered that the base cabinetry was far out of level in several places including the center cabinet which had formed a fulcrum and caused the initial installation by others to fail! The crew could not install the new countertop.Warren stepped in and took control of this stressful situation! He found a cabinetmaker and because of his personal relationship, he was able to persuade the cabinetmaker and make arrangements to come my house the next morning, a Saturday! My Cabinets got properly reinstalled and leveled. Shortly thereafter my countertop was installed. One can see the quality of an installation particularly on molding and trim finishings. This is an installation of the highest quality! It is prettier than the similar countertop across the room.I am thankful that I was able to find Warren Epstein and United Granite. Warren showed himself as a man of action. He took a highly stressful situation and managed it and found solutions. I will not hesitate to give Warren Epstein and United Granite the highest recommendation! I am now a happy, loyal United Granite customerThank you.
