We have had a great experience with Road Runner in Columbia, MD. My son started running XC this year and I took him to RR on the recommendations I had received from others. I wanted to make sure he had good shoes that fit well from the start. We walked into the store completely clueless. Antonio worked with us and fitted him. He was very professional and helpful. My son went with the shoes he recommended. At checkout I purchased the VIP Family membership. Thank goodness I did because the shoes are great but 2 months in he’s starting to outgrow them. We exchanged them yesterday for the next size up. That $ spent on the VIP is well worth it when you are buying shoes for a growing teen! Antonio helped us again yesterday and our exchange was completed easily with no hassles. I think it’s safe to say we plan to be customers for life. Thanks Road Runner and Antonio!!

Rachel was fantastic. This was my first time to Road Runner. Not really a runner, just wanting a great fitting pair of walking / running shoes. They scan your feet and measure length, width and the height of your arches. Then they can make a molded custom arch support. From there Rachel made several recommendations and after trying on too many shoes to count, we find the idea pair. If you join the frequent buyer club, $20, you can even have the option of returning your items for up to 90 days. The shoes for great. Best shoe fitting experience ever.

Today was my first experience shopping at Road Runner Sports in Columbia, MD and it was great. I almost never write reviews but Hamad provided great service. He asked me what I needed as soon as I walked in the door and gave me a bunch of options along with some helpful suggestions. I went in for one pair of running shoes and ended up leaving with two because his picks were so comfortable. I would definitely recommend going to this location and working with Hamad.

Always a dope time, at the store. Been shopping with roadrunner for the past 5 years across the U.S. and this store here in Elkridge is the most helpful. I wish I could remember all the names that have helped me, but Hammad was a super big help. I always feel like Im asking for too much by constantly asking to try a different shoe but Hammad made it feel like it was no big deal. This place is legit. Definitely recommend for all runners.

Great customer service! Team members are interested in getting you the best fitting shoe possible. I never feel like Im putting them out or bothering them when I ask to try something different.I dont feel pressured to buy or rushed.This time I walked in set on getting a specific shoe. Amazing experience! I had been experiencing heel pain when running so decided to try and find a shoe/solution to fix it. Rachel couldn’t have been more patient and helpful; she measured my feet, checked my stride and then showed me multiple pairs of shoes and inserts. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!

I went in last weekend and, despite being very busy, they made sure someone checked on me every few minutes. Diar helped me for last half of my visit. He was very knowledgeable as we spoke about my issues and the differences in stability between different shoes. I went back this weekend to swap the color of the shoes I bought. He remembered me and was very quick to process the exchange. I will be recommending this place to everyone.

I ended up trying on three pairs of shoes, all of which fit nicely. I went with the new balance based on comfort and a long standing history with the brand. Paul worked me through the insert fitting process as well, which was new to me. Im leaving with new shoes, new inserts, and a continued sense of happiness with this store... The employees here have always given me five star support. Keep up the great work!

I visited Roadrunner on the advice from friends to get properly fitted for running shoes. I was BEAMING by the time I left. The customer service was excellent, Evan was the individual assisting me and was knowledgeable and helped me understand why I felt pain when running before. I learned something new about my own feet! I love the 90-day guarantee although I seriously doubt I will be returning my shoes. One of the best customer service experiences I have had in a while! Roadrunner definitely has a customer for life in me!

Awesome place! The guy who helped us (Marcus I think?!) listened to my issues and what I wanted. He was clear, knowledgeable, professional, and super friendly. I got the custom insoles made and he explained each measurement and the impact of it well. He gave me three options of shoes he thought would work well for me and also gave me the chance to look at any specific shoes if I wanted. I’m super excited to try these new insoles and shoes out! The place is also super clean and organized. 10/10 recommend!

Visited the Columbia, MD store. Unintentionally left with. Wide instead of a standard shoe, when I returned an hour later was notified the style I wanted was out of stock in the standard in my size. The sales associate Diar, helped me choose a comparable shoes and even gave me a discount for my trouble! Great service by great associates will keep me coming back!

I had my first experience shopping at Road Runner on Sunday, September 5 and Hamad made my shopping easy and stress free. I was wearing a pair of New Balance but the sizing was the correct and my feet remained not at the most comfortable. I was also bothered by heel and arch pain. With Hamads experience I was able to be fitted with the proper pair of shoes and also bought the customized arch support. I also had the opportunity to try on shoes where the brand was unfamiliar to me. I walked out of that store pain free. Ive been wearing these shoes for a couple of days and can wear them for hours on end PAIN FREE. Thanks Road Runner I am now a customer for life!

I want to thank Sam at the Columbia, MD store for his help on 9/16/21. I had a very hard time try to find a pair of Oofos Ooahh Sport Flex slides. I tried ordering them through the website, it seems they are on eternal back order. Customer service was less than helpful. Thank you Sam for putting the slides on hold for me so that I could make the 1 hour and 15 minute drive to pick them up.

I went into Road Runner Sports Columbia Store 701 today and Ian Murray the shift lead at the store welcomed me and was very patient with me. He brought me several sneakers to try on already knowing that the best shoes for my feet are Hoka Ones. He helped me put them on. You know shoe stores dont do that anymore. Ian assisted me for over an hour. In addition to him being patient he was humourous and helpful. I advise everyone to go see Ian if you want excellent service.

The fitting process is absolutely immaculate, really high tech and accurate. The staff is absolutely amazing too, our representative Jael was so knowledgeable and fun to find shoes with! We loved her, she did everything in her power to get us the best shoes possible and really cares about us getting the right pair. Weve had so many problems with shoes and injuries, but these shoes have served us so well and we cant recommend that you go here for getting your shoes enough!!! I was there for trail shoes. Rachel was great!!! Very patient and attentive. She measured by feet with their state of the art measuring station. She told me to take my time in choosing the right shoe for me. And when u join their rewards program... u get discounts on your purchases. The greatest part about Road Runner is... you have 90 days to wear the shoes... if ur not satisfied.. u can return them. No hassle policy. U can’t lose. Would highly recommend them for ur running needs. A little extra. I ONLY wear their socks. Beat there is. They don’t slide, and the elastic is just right. Just perfect for athletes of any sport.

I decided to add custom insoles to the fitted shoes that I recently purchased here, due to some minor foot pains. I came in to Road Runner the other day, when it was busy during your sale, but it was no problem. One of your kind employees, Hamad, showed up quickly to fit my feet. He was really helpful in offering additional products, which I may try in the future. Hamad also answered all of my running- and shoe-related questions, which was great.

I actually thought I was going to another competitors store and happened upon this one and I am Sooo glad I did! I just started walking 10,000 steps minimum a day- been at it for the past 3 weeks in some old Mizuno shoes I had. I started to get heel pain and I knew it was my shoes. Honestly I purchased them because they had cute colors. A friend of mine said you need to be fitted properly so off to the store I went. Being this was my 1st time in a professional running shoe store I was over whelmed. I brought my old shoes with me to show the sales person thinking I may just need insoles. Well once there I encountered Antonio, he looked at my shoes and walked me through the process of their Fit Drone 3D scan for custom insoles . This process was not only cool but spot on! I have Lymphadema so my feet swell often. The 3D scan was soo accurate. Antonio was professional yet down to earth and full of information. I tried on numerous pairs of shoes and found the perfect pair! Some Teal Hoka Bondi 7’s. I was Soo Excited that I was able to get the 3C’s: Cute, Comfortable, & Custom insoles!I will be back with my husband to get properly fitted next! I went here about a month ago to get fitted for shoes. Loved my experience then, especially fast free shipping to my house when the pair I got matched with wasn’t in stock.That pair wasn’t quite working for me, so I went back in to get re-fitted (love the 90-day try policy!). David did a fantastic job matching me with a new pair. He even did some custom engineering & modifications to fit my situation with orthotics.Huge shoutout to David for quick thinking on the spot and making the whole process smooth and easy, something I’ve not experienced with shoe shopping before!

I was impressed to find this running- focused store in Laurel. They even have a custom insole molding machine, which is awesome.There is a huge selection of running shoes and gear, plus all the hard-to-find items such as lace locks and running-specific shorts.Note that it is inside the complex next to Trader Joes.

Well the first time i went to the store, they ran the test on my feet and told me I needed a neutral shoe. I am not an expert and my entire life I have been flat footed. I said ok, these guys know what they are talking about. Bought the shoes and inserts and after a month would experience discomfort after long runs. I bought neutral shoes for a year with the company (that’s about 2-3 pairs of shoes) and thought it was just me with bad knee pains. Fast forward a year, I decided to take another running test. Surprise surprise they mentioned my flat feet and told me I needed a stability shoe. Shame I went an entire year with being offered a neutral shoe and I wasn’t meant for a neutral shoe. I only took one star away for that, because the lady who helped me yesterday was very informative and helpful. (Maybe because she was the assistant manger). I am now on the right path for good running stability, thanks you Skye.

Road Runner Sports is always a great experience, but today was particularly fantastic! Diar was very patient with me and my flat feet. I knew I wanted new Hokas but I wasnt expecting to get a pair of ASICS Gel Kayanos that were on clearance too. They werent in stock, but he had them shipped for me. With my VIP discounts, free shipping, and Rewards credit, my total was $219. Road Runner Sports has done it again. You guys have a forever customer over here! The way they have their system set up for custom inserts and giving you your profile is amazing and totally worth going for that reason alone. The inserts have truly helped me with plantar fasciitis and theyre better than the superfeet ones in my opinion because theyre molded for your feet specifically. They also store your 3D foot model online now and you can order more inserts apparently but I havent tried that out. The only issue I have is that their yearly membership is pretty pricey and they auto renewed it weeks before my anniversary date and before i thought it should renew. Other than that, totally awesome place to try!
