Don’t go to this place unless you want to go blind. I have complained and complained about my vision getting poorer and poorer over the years to these people. These people acted like they had no clue what to do and since they were so incompetent, they didn’t even have enough sense to refer me to a specialist who could probably help me. Long story short, I finally found an America’s Best who offered to do an FTD/Digital Retina Imaging on my eyes (something RX Optical NEVER even mentioned!) Come to find out both my retinas are detached!!! One is way worse than the other and I am not sure if it can be corrected! Thanks a bunch RX Optical! I truly think it was a race thing...just don’t go to RX Optical!!!

The doctor who does the eye exam is SO tuned in with his craft that I didn’t even know the exam was over until he told me to leave the room. HAHA. Shared many funny conversations mid exam... shopping around for glasses was fun as well, we made sure that I didn’t look silly with glasses, or too young or old. I believe we found a couple great pairs that matched my face.

I needed emergency surgery on my glasses! They broke while I was at work. I was blind and helpless and had to drive carefully back to Elkhart from Goshen to RX OPTICAL office on Cassopolis Street.I waited for only a moment before Kiarra and Juana came to my assistance. They were courteous and professional and took my glasses in for repair. Before I could change my radio station, they had returned with my specs, freshly cleaned and in tip top shape!After checking the fit, they wished me well and had me on my way in a jiffy!Thanks RX OPTICAL for saving the day!

I arrived at 12:40 on a Saturday. Knowing they closed at 1:00, I actually didnt think I had enough time to get my glasses fitted and ordered before they closed. I lady who waited on me, was very kind and professional. I found my style I wanted, had them fitted and ordered in 25 minutes I highly recommend this place.

Very patient and accommodating! Needed lenses and Kiarra helped out every step of the way providing updates and answering questions when asked.

What a joke of a place..........got my glasses wrong awhile back then wanted to charge more to make it right.......nose piece fell off and wanted me to wait almost 24 hours for an appointment thank you Walmart for fixing it immediately guess I know where to go from now on and it wont be rx optical..........

Made an appointment a week before it was scheduled. Arrive for the appointment and apparently it was never put into the system. I am still on my parents insurance and since they have visited Rxoptical in the past I was a little confused as to why the person on the phone when I was making the appointment asked for my moms Social Security number to verify....I called another Rxoptical and I had no trouble getting an appointment and didnt need to provide any information regarding insurance coverage or anything of that sort. I will say when I arrived for the appointment the person who took care of me was very nice, but the person over the phone I cant say the same.

Walked in on a Saturday morning and was greeted with smiles and more excitement than I was expecting. The doctor did the exam, I paid my co-pay, and then I left. I had no issues at all and everything seemed fast and easy. I think their glasses selection is somewhat limited and thats why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5.

Visited Rx Optical on a Saturday morning, greeted well by the front staff. The process for ordering the glasses took around 2.5 - 3 hours ( may be due to the new staff).Also their service is not up to the mark. They contacted me to pick up the order and when I visited, the order was not ready.The reason that I am working with Rx Optical is that my employer has an agreement with them.I will also report my employer with this issue so they can take the required action.In short, really bad experience with the service. I request management team should take this issue seriously and improve the quality of the service.

The doctor was awesome one of her staff needs more training

TL;DR: Dont expect service unless you agree to pay for an exam first. Most helpful advice they gave me was to seek help elsewhere.Only helpful if you pay. I had not seem them for a while as I no longer live in elkhart but periodically visit family. My contacts were going bad, so I asked them for a trial pair to hold me over. They would not unless I had an exam. I scheduled an exam in my current town and they would not send the prescription for my new clinic to view for their records because it was expired. It seems the day your prescription expires they no longer care that your current eye ware is a hazard to your health.

Needed emergency eyeglass repair on a Saturday. They took good care of me.
