Not worth giving 1 star. Would like to know if there is a corporate i could contact. Worst experience I have ever had. Completely dishonest and didnt care. Took almost 11 weeks and lenses were wrong. They wanted to charge me more for correct lenses. Went to Walmart, received exam and had CORRECT glasses in 8 days. Eye care(not express)lenses were blurred on outside edges. Associate told me to move my head to look not my eyes! SERIOUSLY!
I went to Eyecare Express because they say on there website if you find prices lower than theirs they will honor the lower price and give and extra 10% discount. Well, I went and showed them I could get glasses elsewhere for less and they refused to honor it. I will NEVER go back to them again.
I came in looking for glasses and Jasmine was so nice and helpful she helped me pick out 2 frames at a great price and I received my glasses in the same day which has never happened before! I will definitely be returning for future purchases.

I visited Elkhart in January and received the free eye exam with 2 pairs of glasses for $69. Everyone was very helpful and I got exactly what I needed. I am now back in Arizona where I’m from, and I needed to know the details of my prescription so I could order new glasses down here, so I called and asked how I could go about that. The girl I spoke with (I believe her name was Jess, Jocelyn, something like that) was very rude and kept cutting me off. She cut me off and told me she would print out a copy so I could pick it up, and when I told her I live across the country and asked her to fax it to me, she huffed & puffed and literally said “I guess so.” I asked her how long it was going to take for the fax to come and she said she didn’t know, she would do it when she could. Having a good experience in office means nothing when the customer service is this disgusting any other time.
Staff was great !! Service was fast and efficient never believe what others opinions are you could always have a different experience than the next I’mGlad I didn’t listen to all the negative nonesense 😊
Worst place to go to, your better off going to Walmart and getting glasses. I ordered two pairs and was told 7-10 days. It took a month to get one pair and almost 2 months for the other. Each time I had to call myself repeatedly or go in to see if they had them. They will claim they call you but they dont. The quality of the glasses arent the greatest either. When I asked to have mine adjusted the people helping me got rude and acted like they didnt want to help. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
Terrible experience was told my glasses would be in 7-10 business days its took almost a month. Then I pick up and there is a chip in the lense. So now Im waiting again.. They are rude and they have no clue to what is going on. The service is terrible they dont give no help in finding the right frame. You ask for help they ignore you.. they need a lot of work with customer service. I paid for my glasses Feb 1st and it is March 4 no glasses as of yet. I want a full refund.

I convinced my husband to get hi glasses here because it was faster...so we got the two for one deal(still expensive) so he got the cheapest pair the next day and his second pair had some upgrades like dark lense,anty-glare the works...and since it was in the middle of a pandemy they asked us to be patient it would take a bit more than a month...we had a pair so didnt mind the waiting..3 months later we went to check up on the glasses because nobody had called,just to be told that it was going to take a couple of days to locate the glasses and wait for the call..2 weeks later 45 min before closing time and they couldnt look for them because of the late hour,next day we went back early and they claim that after 30 days they are not responsible and will not refund my money...that is about $200 worth of glasses and bad manners...wont even tell you where to sent a complaint!
Do not go here. Optometrist wasnt wearing a mask and ranted to me about the oppressive mask policy and how we arent North Korea. No refund policy, bad products, feel cheap and prescription is off. Front desk ladies are extremely rude as well as the manager. Unprofessional behavior from them as well. And it took over a month to receive my glasses when I was told a week (max). Dont give this horrible company your money, go somewhere else.
Had a great experience here. My regular doctor was still unavailable and they got me right in. Everyone was very friendly and my glasses work great. I am thinking I will permanently switch over to these guys. The price was great too!
Dr did a great job with my prescription. Two pairs of glasses were ready I 2 hours. Best part girls in front of the store were very friendly and efficient... leading to a great experience!
Very Helpful and great prices. I usually go to Eyemart but they said they could not get me in. These guys got me in right away and I got my glasses that day. I was very impressed with the whole thing. They also have a great selection of frames, a ton to choose from!
Doctor was nice But bad customer service was supposed to pick up a pair next day. Its been almost 2 weeks when the second pair was supposed to be done. The first pair thats supposed to be still isnt done. They should at least call and say its going to be late.

Went there earlier this week and these are the best glasses I have ever had. It was a great experience from start to finish. I will be back next year, thank you guys for getting me in in a pinch when no one else would.
9/21/20-- My husband & I both had appointments at 10am & 10:30am. We were the first ones there, so there should not have been a rush for an eye exam. Our eye doctor came and got me first. I went in sat down he started the exam. He did not give me much time to answer what looked better or what felt right. When I asked him could you show me that again he had an attitude. After rushing me through my eye exam he said your prescription changed quite a bit. He then goes out gets my husband and does the same thing. Rushes him through his visit. Our glasses were suppose to be ready in a couple hours. On the 9/21 I went into the eye center 4 times, 3 out of the 4 my lenses had scratches or chips every time I went in to pick them up the 4th I tried the on, they did not feel right. I let the lady know that was signing them out. She said wear them for a while the doctor noted your prescription has changed. When I walked everything looked like it was up to my knees. I wore them until 9/22 @4:30pm I am nauseous all day and terrible headaches. So I called in they asked me to come back in for a new exam. My husband couldnt even keep his on for 2. hrs without feeling sick.I went back in the next day new exam. This time with a lady. Afterwards she said he had your magnification to high. I received my second prescription the following day. They still were not right. Also lenses had a scratch. I waited one week, tried to wear them as much as possible. I called back and asked to return my glasses and have my money back since I had already wasted 2 days of vacation at work & multiple days of not seeing correctly. The front desk girl was incredibly rude. She told me well the lenses are based on your feedback to the doctor. I said what I was seeing in the lens machine is not what I am seeing in the glasses. She said well we cant do anything about it all items are made custom. I said well these arent made custom to me because I cannot see out of them She then stated our manager is on vacation, I will have to take down your number and have her call you Still have yet to receive a call on this. I think this place is a rip off. $ 228.00 & I still cannot see anything. I just booked with my new eye doctor and had an appointment. This is ridiculous. Shut them down!!! While I was in there multiple times there were so many unsatisfied customers in there.The product feels cheap, looks cheap.... Ridiculous. Wish I could give zero stars.
Buyer beware! This company has an absolute no refund policy! Even if your lens falls out. I was shocked. I never even thought about it. Go someplace else. Almost all eyeglass places will work with you for a refund or replacement. These people will NOT! Bad company ethics. I might as well have just set my $100 on fire. If I could give them a zero I would. These are bad people. Should be called Eyedonotcare. Its a sad way to do business. Extremely disappointed. Go anywhere else.

I hate this place. They can never get glasses correct. My prescription was off. I have been waiting for a trial of contacts for about 4-5 months. Its pathetic plus the staff is soo rude i paid well over $500 but when everything came back it was all wrong! Then when i go in to get what i paid for they get all angry and with attitude.
Place is a joke. They dont tell you upfront that nothing is submitted through insurance and you have to do a reimbursement form. The little front desk girl is extremely rude. Shes lucky some people can keep they composure.
I went in for contacts, I took my insurance in and asked to be told if it would cover, in not then I would go somewhere else. I was told by the receptionist, AND the DOCTOR that it would be $20 co-pay and 55 for the actual contacts. So I get out and they try charging me $200+ because supposedly my insurance didnt cover. I was VERY upset because I was told they were going to cover part of them. Would not recommend this place. They do not care about you. They just care about taking your money and being rude to you. The so called manager came out and tried yelling at me but I of course didnt let her. DO NOT GO HERE THEY ARE RUDE AND THEIR PRODUCTS ARE CHEAP!!
Do not recommend this place for glasses. Ordered glasses & safety glasses, they did not take my companies insurance. When I recieved my everyday glasses, they were not quality as I often had not sharp vision. I have been waiting for my safety glasse frames for over 3 weeks, & still no answer as to why the delay. I keep getting the runaround & they only would offer me a $50 dollar refund for my not recieving my safety glasses. Poorly run place of business. Sorry I went there. Learned my lesson. This is the place in Elkhart on county rd 6.

I only rated them that way because I could not rate them lower. Been there and bought glasses from them. Buy one pair and get one free. Had to call them to find out if they were done and was told yes. So I went in to get them.Could not see out of either pair.They said they would have to remake them . Had to call again and they told me they were done but didnt have my right phone number. I went back over to get them and had the same problem I could not see out of them. And they broke the pair I paid for. Now they still have my money and they also have the glasses . I didnt know I was making a donation I thought I was buying glasses . So I hope you have better luck if you shop with EyeCare Express .

Horrible experience they talk you out of using your insurance. They tell you it will be cheaper. Ordered 2 glasses and contacts total a little over $800. Took 3 weeks to get contacts. And they had to fixs one pair 3 times with cracked lens saw it each time before walking out of store. The other pair that was sent out for anti glare were oily looking and foggy they did replace with normal lens but would not refund the money for anti glare. And they said they dont fit the glasses so i walked out with crooked glasses. Horrible experience.
I I could give them a -1 star I would. Absolutely no professionalism. Took almost a month to get new lenses for my glasses. Trial contacts have been on order since January 29 and still don’t know when they will be in Once you use your insurance for an eye exam you can’t just go somewhere else so I’m stuck dealing with these people. Definitely would not recommend wasting your time

When can I give a negetive star rating 1st let me say the Dr is great why she is there no idea but the rest of the experience was so incredibly bad if it were the Dr I would say malpractice same day glasses wrong the one pair was 3 days and the lenses still arent right in frames when I complained was told you picked the frame not our fault that u dont like them love the very expensive frame didnt like the fact lenses wiggle around in frames but would have kept if they would have done a simple ajustment so they werent bruising my face the other pair had two ajustments on then lense fell out I have had less than 90 days really staff was rude Im glad I got warranty though my $300 pair of frames when I had to get another pair I got $120 pair of frames and I only had to pay $60 for the privilege all I can say is never again run forest run

Great people, just not a place I would buy glasses at a 2nd time. Buy one get one free cost me over $400.00. Took two weeks to get non-glare coating. One pair came in without two lenses so had to wait some more.. Two weeks later, they filled the wrong prescription. Waiting another two weeks for the non-glare coating. Sigh.
Walked in for an eye exam and was seen right away. I got 2 pairs of glasses and I love them both! the Manager worked with me on prices and everyone was very friendly! will be back.
I took my kids for back to school and got a great deal! Very excited about having two pairs of glasses for each one and I didn’t have to spend a ton of money. The exam was free so that also helped a lot since it was $90 at my normal Optometrist office. We picked them up and they loved them. Definitely would recommend if you have kids and are looking for the most bang for your buck.
If we could leave a no star rating we would. Ordered my wife and myself new glasses and frames. 6 weeks later after numerous calls we were told they were here. To our dismay they were made wrong and Elkharts employees didnt care less. Basically said it was our problem. We ended up taking the glasses to the ft. Wayne location who confirmed they were made wrong. Ft. Wayne remade our glasses and shipped then back to elkhart for us to pick up. ELKHART NOW SAYS THEY NEVER RECEIVED THEM !!! Even after we showed them the tracking information confirming they signed for them THEY STILL SHRUG THEIR SHOULDERS AND SAY THERES NOTHING THEY CAN DO!!!DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE!!!! We are now having an attorney look into this and help us recover our $1100 loss these thieves stole. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO SOMEONE WHO CARES ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AND PRODUCTS!!!!

I went in for the first time to have a pair of sunglasses repaired. The customer service was excellent, and they fixed my glasses in less than 5 minutes and did not charge me, even though I did not originally buy my glasses there. I was very surprised and will definitely go back go them for any future eyewear purchases or repairs.
The doctor gets 5 stars, she is great.The staff was very good to me they get 4 1/2 stars.The lab tech who made my glasses gets 0 stars. My lenses are too small, and pop out of my frames if I am not careful. I am an old lab tech and can fix the issue. It would have been immediately evident that the lenses where too losse, as they were being cleaned. It would have been an easy fix. Either thier tech doesnt care or doesnt know how to fix thier mistakes.

I think Eyecare Express will be disappointed or upset by my review that proclaims I did not receive great/top notch customer care. We went in with the expectation that we could, as their ad proclaims, receive next-day service. After taking my information and measuring me for the 2 pairs of glasses I was getting, the associate said, READY IN 7-10 DAYS. I asked, What happened to the next-day service? She replied, If you could see better, the glasses would be ready sooner. So we accepted this. AFTER THIRTEEN DAYS, we got a call saying my glasses were ready. I went in expecting the TWO pairs of glasses I ordered. The associate brought out ONE pair of glasses which had a defect in the right lens, which meant they needed to be reordered. I think Id like my money back, I said. I should have read the receipt carefully, because printed twice on the receipt it says NO REFUNDS. After explaining the no-refund policy to me (and the not-a-chance possibility of adjusting my bill), the associate told me that my replacement glasses would be ready in 10-14 days. I said, The other associate told me 7-10 days the first time. Oh, she shouldnt have told you THAT. To shorten the story, I got my first pair of correct glasses TWENTY-TWO days after ordered, and my second pair of glasses THIRTY days after ordered. Finally, after asking if I would like soft or hard glasses case, I was informed they were out of cases. No CUSTOMER SERVICE company should EVER practice THIS policy: Our lack of service is YOUR problem, not ours. WE ARE NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS EYE-CARE RETAILER!
They have a big choice of frames in different price ranges. I was able to get a pair I love for $129. The free pair I had made into sunglasses, so added bonus! Everyone was very helpful and the doctor did a great job. She even put my prescription in a frame for me to try to be sure I didnt have trouble with the changes - something Ive never had a dr do before.
Came in with my mom to get an eye exam and it was quick and free! I was also able to use my own prescription from another place and we were able to buy one and get the second pair for free!
Dont bother using this location. The staff upfront would rather sit around and jaw-jack than to turn in a file. So now Im sitting here because the doctor left and wont be back for 2 hrs. All because my file wasnt turned in. Will never use them again

This place sucks!! The deal was supposed to be but one get one free and a free eye exam. I paid over $400, its been 3 weeks and I still dont have my glasses. They lie in there, they said my glasses would be back in 7 to 10 days, then it turned into 7 to 14 days, and now its a minimum of 14 days. Then when I question them about it they say theres nothing they can do, they threaten to hang up on you now they want to send me my glasses cause they dont want me back in the store. They say Im harassing their people. Well give me my glasses. Please nobody waste your time and money here, this place is a joke!!!

I only give 1 star because they were very helpful finding the glasses I wanted.Now the contacts on the other hand were cheep and caused a reaction made me not be able to see and It took me almost a whole day to get them out my eyes were swollen and very very red for days.I called they offer a refund because clearly I didnt want the contacts they had on order for me . But because I paid in cash said Id have to wait for my $100.00 refund . Yeah well it has been going on3 weeks now .NO REFUND YET!!!!!! Not happy.Well when I was in your location the so called manager said there is no one higher up to speak to

Charged for a full visit($60) to have a prescription from two months earlier refilled. I went in asking for a refill, staff failed to mention there is a full visit charge to have a prescription refilled. Seems excessive to have a $5 eye drop prescription renewal cost $60. Poor communication from staff. Optometrist was friendly, staff not so much.

We got the Ani-Reflective Coating And the glasses were blurry and head scratches on them. We took them back had them remade without the antiglare and they much better and they refused to give us a refund for the antiglare that we paid $90 is a lot of money.
The UNMASKED optometrist spent less than 10 minutes on the eye exam.
I dont recommend this place to anyone that has high prescription. I order my pair of glasses on January and is March still waiting. I had to take my eye exam twice because I couldnt see with the prescription they gave me, guess what it was wrong. They didnt even order my contact lenses until I ask for them they sure take your money very quick. I thought it was a good place to go Im very very disappointed with this place and will never go back and will not recommend anyone else. They give you so many excuses that is unbelievable 👎👎👎

Went in to get glasses for myself. The BOGO offer is a great deal especially for those who are use to paying such a high price because of our prescription. Had great customer service while i was their for my initial visit. Although it is a bit confusing that their is a desk infront and in the back. Although the girls seemed a bit overwhelmed by all the customers they did a great job running back and forth. They informing me the Dr. was running behind but meanwhile i can choose frames. I waited about 40 minutes before being seen. Not bad for being a walk in. A few weeks later i went in with my husband and he was satisfied with their services. 2 hours later we went to pick up his glasses and my second pair when we were helped by Bri. She was determined to give us a great experience which she did. She even helped with offering juice to my fussy 3 year old which shows she wanted us to take our time and not rush out. She made sure we left with all questions answered.
Im only rating this 1 star because I cant rate it 0.I didnt come here for my exam THANKFULLY but I did come here to get frames because at the time they had the frames I liked within my budget. When I ordered my glasses I was told that I was paying 60$ for the anti reflective coating and a protection plan incase my glasses were to be broken, they would be replaced. They also told me Id have my glasses within 7-14 days. I got them back 30 days later. (YES 30 BUISSNESS DAYS) Not even 3 months later and the anti reflective coating has worn off halfway and caused my lenses to become cloudy. I bring my glasses back in to be told that I now have to send them out for 7 days for this coating to be stripped . Its been 12 days and I am still waiting for them back. I also was told that the 60$ i paid did not include any type of protection plan at all. Ill never waste my time here again . The staff is very very unprofessional and they are all liars.

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star! The worst customer service I have ever experienced. There was no sort of professionalism whatsoever. The ladies that were at the desk kept whispering and staring at the customers, attempting to hide their comments with a piece of paper. I was also overwhelmed with a disgusting nicotine/smoke odor during my exam and then charged almost $400. I walked out and I’m so glad that I did.

I went there today for an exam and have diabetes and on depression meds. The doctor kept telling me how I was too young for diabetes and shamed me the whole time. I dont need a reminder about how messed up I am. She then asked what the depression and anxiety meds were for. when I told her they were for depression (which is stated on the sheet I filled out when they asked for the meds you are on and why you are taking them) she then asked me what I was depressed about. I will never be going back there.
Stopped by today for a last minute Contact exam and was attended right away. Very Friendly staff and the optometrist was very good and knowledgeable!

Had to wait almost 90 minutes past my appointment time. Manager rolled her eyes at me when I expressed concern. While waiting to be seen, staff stood at the desk gossiping about other customers. Walked in to pick up my daughters glasses to find the manager yelling at another customer. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional.
