Drove 40 minutes to check out a Used Truck for sale at Walters, and called before leaving to assure the truck was still there. As soon as we get there we were told the truck had sold last night. Thank you for wasting my time and money. And to those traveling a decent amount of time to see a specific vehicle, please be aware of my experience!

Called a couple days ago to verify they had the vehicle I was looking for and that they would be in on Saturday. Got here at 9am, no one here, waited an hour, called them on each of their numbers. One guy said he would fond out why no one is there then call back and never did. Tried calling again and he sent me to voicemail.Came, cash in hand, looking to buy a vehicle and they blew me off. Dont bother with them. Its no wonder they got shut down last year.

Dont bother wasting your time called and was told they had a truck out front on the lot told him it was a 2 hour drive for me and I wanted to make sure everything was good before I drove that far got there stood there waiting for 30 minutes when I finally got helped he said lets start the paper work hell have someone pull it around I told him I didnt want to waste either of our times and that I would like to look at the vehicle first he left and came back a little later and said sorry we sold this car this morning I dont think they ever had it bunch of scam artists if you ask me

A friend bought a vehicle from them and they are not willing to work with you even when you have had the car for less than two weeks and it needs an $1800 repair. Where is the desire to have a good reputation and repeat customers?? Not done fighting for whats right yet but from the communication so far it doesnt look good.

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I was looking to rent a van for our family vacation and found them online. A bit cheaper than the mainstream guys and local so I thought it would be good. Very nice website but its all false advertising. I requested info online and all I got was a bunch of spam emails to which no live person replied. I called in and got a quote and then called back to reserve the van. They took my credit card info and confirmed the reservation. I showed up as planned to pick it up. The place is a dumpy corner lot. The office was hot and not clean. I was not waited on promptly or with any sort of professionalism. I would expect a lot more from used car salesmen for sure. Then they couldnt find my reservation they said. Went in the back and left me sitting there for awhile and came back with no alternative suggestions or anything. Of course by then it was too late to get one elsewhere. Nearly ruined my vacation. I will never do any kind of business with this company again and warn any others away.

It wouldn’t allow me to give less than one star. Avoid this place at all cost: I don’t care if you’re desperate they will rip you off. We were told we’d be able to refinance with them or trade in, six month later we tried to do this and they no longer refinance and were stuck in a vehicle that we owe 6000 more than it’s worth thanks to their credit shark intrest rate. Also, previously they tried to bait and switch me with a “wrong price” on a car. The employees are rude and we will never be back and suggest no one else goes there either.

All they will do is sell you junk that you will end up having to put a bunch of money into.Trust me, 5 months ago I bought a 2013 Ford escaper from them, and now I have to replace the engine because it has a rod knocking. We went to look at an advertised car. It was very cheap and they said they did not know what happened but would we like to look at all these other cars? They w e re showing us some priced way out of our range. Scams all the way.

Very disrespectful and under the impression that they didnt go by credit but have been turned down twice. My husband has a good paying job and even wblith his trade this last time they wanted the trade and 1000 down for a car 10+ years old. We will never go back there.

Honestly DO NOT go here!!! They will screw you over. They sold my girlfriend a Warranty that didnt need to be included but told her it absolutely had too. They told us it would be a 48 month loan and we get our payment book and its 57 months. Didnt even offer us GAP insurance and saying we could get it, We never received any paper work for the vehicle except the purchase order. We had to take the vehicle in to get the GPS tracker put in which apparently took ALL day! they also smoked in our vehicle because ashes were over everything in the vehicle and neither of us smokes. they also never replaced the broken door handle because they wanted to go home after promising it would be done. This place is absolute garbage I wouldnt wish this experience upon my worst enemy. Bunch of con artists.

This place is a joke my daughter bought a car and the same day the engine light transmission light and the oil light was on and she called to let them know something was seriously wrong with this 2013 ford fiesta and they told her the car is as is she bought it and she has to pay for it. Which is not fare to her and she havent had the car 24 hours this place needs to be closed down.

ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE there is to provide this company told use they had a car in stock that was shown on there website as a manual but was actually an automatic and they took name and number said car ran fine told them to call us if car was sold so we go to there location and car was sold and had been sold and this was an HOUR AND A HALF DRIVE and we let them know we would be driving from away so there was no miscommunication. Horrible horrible business!

Worst place to go for my first time financing a car. They gave me a car that had a AC problem and didnt want to fix it, I had to get brakes done a month after having it. I was paying to much a month on a car that wasnt worth a dime. Then I didnt have any paper work on the car. Thanks to RightWay they helped me out a lot and got me out that hell whole of a car. I dont recommend this place to NOBODY. All glitter aint gold😒😒😒😒

Almost drove an hour to buy a car they had sold a week prior but never took down from the website, I called and made an appointment to see this specific car and nobody said, hey that car is gone. Just as a test we called a week later about the same car that had been sold because it’s still on their website and was told that it in fact was still there. We told them they told us this car was sold a week ago and they didn’t know how to respond. My boyfriend spoke to a manager who’s response was, someone else takes care of the website. Which still doesn’t explain why the person answering the phone doesn’t know what cars are on the lot.

All I can say is thank God I found out that this car lot is a total joke before I drove 2 hours down. I mentioned that I did not have a down payment to the lady on the phone, no problem she says. I made an appointment for next weekend, even got my wife on board to potentially get a vehicle for herself. She goes thru the pre-approval process and is told since its tax time the underwriters have upped the required down payment to $500-1000. Are you jacking me? Why wasnt I told up front that there was a required down payment when I mentioned that I didnt have one? Dishonest so-called salespeople, thats why. Dont go here, dont waste your time. These people dont know the first thing about being a good salesperson. Im just disappointed.

I bought a Ford F250 from here. 2 weeks later the engine blows a spark plug. I called the store to find out how to handle it, tough luck. Then to add insult my truck stayed in the online inventory for months after. I called and asked if it was still availible and was told it was still on their lot. When I told them that it was in my driveway, hung up on.

Nothing. There is not one good thing to say about this dealer. Dont even get a chance to look at cars. Just want to do a hard credit pull. The Sales Manager is very rude. So classes and unprofessional. Go spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

THE WORST CAR PLACE EVER! I bought a car from them in Jan. 2015 and live an hour away. They said they would do all these things to fix my car when I bought it and I assumed they would honor it as most people on the planet do. But no, I have called at least 25 times and they dont get back to me. You owe people the responsibility to treat them with respect and that is not what happened. I am a student and I cant make time to go see them but one day I will and they will love every second of making it right. Very disappointed.OH did I mention that it is the worst place ever?! I think I did.

I have filed BBB complaints, Division of Motor Vehicles complaint, & Attorney General complaint. This place practices what is called BAIT AND SWITCH. They post nice, cheap cars to get you in there...once you get there they just sold it so they sell you a POS you had no intention on buying. This is illegal. I have had 3 experiences with them, the last one they lost my sale. I went down the road and bought a $41,000.00 car they missed out on. I wrote the manager/owner...all started back in February...today after all my complaints, and personal letter to them I get a call from a salesman that says Hey are you still looking to buy a car? Are you kidding me, hell no not from there and never will ever buy from them. I would discourage even my ENEMIES from buying here.

If zero stars were an option thats what I would have given. I came in with an amount I could spend and a vehicle that needed to be figured into the situation. They salesman played me like a fiddle. Lied to my face and got me to agree to paying $100 more than I wanted a month with a ridiculously high interest rate. The vehicle he was supposed to sell for me he put back in their garage and did nothing with. I then continued to have two car payments.I understand car salesman have mouths to feed too but I dont know how they can even sleep at night when behavior like this.

Called yesterday about a truck, was a preapproved over phone and made an appointment for the over two hour drive. When I got there didnt see the truck and called inside and was told it had just sold.Really, should have listened to all these reviews that say the exact same thing.BELIEVE EVERYTHING BAD YOU READ AS FAR AS REVIEWS. If you notice all the 5-stars are mostly saying Google user...thats because most are made up.I guess they thought when I got there and the truck wasnt that I would fall for something else, but guess again. I just turned around and drove back home. Definitely 0- star dealership.

Went there to get my husband a new-to-you truck but we were still shopping around, salesman showed us one truck and said thats the only one they had that fit my husbands wants. Test drove it and seemed fine but when we got back they started to do the paperwork to see if we could get approved. All while this was happening an angry costumer came in screaming and the other employees were just laughing at him and cussing at him. Finally when they said how much we would need to put down and how we would like to pay, we told him we dont have money at the moment and were still shopping around at that point everyone there treated us awfully. Worst car lot I have ever been to and the worst customer service I have ever seen. Should have heeded the warning of others who said dont waste your time....We drove 3 1/2 hours to look at a truck, we get there and the truck is nothing like they said, the quarter size rust spot was way more then a spot and they lied about the mileage, it had well over 100,000 more miles on it then what they told us over the phone...When my husband questioned them, the loud mouth day manager started yelling at him. The salesman finally apologized for the his mistake. But it was obvious they thought wed just buy it since we came all that way, but we didnt so the loud mouthed manager simply said well just sell it to someone else. They could have cared less..........My husband called a higher up manager only to encounter the same I dont care attitude, he also called and asked who the owner was and the office girl who answered the phone told him she didnt know who the owner was, when he questioned her on how can you work at a place and not know who the owner is, she got hateful and hung up on him, that place and everyone in it are rude as well as dishonest liars.........They are horrible people who lie to get you up there, thinking you will buy anyway, sorry, but I was paying cash, so I took my cash and went elsewhere and purchased a wonderful truck from someone else that day...........We stopped at many of the other local car lots up there and none of them had anything good to say about walters auto sales either. Dishonest liars is the best I can say about them, but could say a lot worse.........They also keep calling and emailing my husband, after the fact, to get him to come and buy a vehicle, its not happening and if the calls and emails continue, we will be contacting the attorney general of Indiana.

Worst car lot you can go to. Theyre scam artists. Everything is way overpriced. Didnt even tell me the truck I bought has been in a bad accident. Check engine light came on 2 days after buying it. The guy didnt even want me to test drive it before I bought it. I would never recommend anyone to go to Walters. I wish I wouldnt have.

My customer experience was not the greatest. I took three hours for the appointment, even tho I had a appointment set up they were lacking staff, and lacked professionalism. If you dont have a car and are in need of one yes this is the place to go, they will get you a car may not be the best but its a car.

Terrible customer service, and salesmanship, and HIGH NEED FOR PROCESS IMPROVEMENT. After my husband had multiple conversations about a truck he was very interested in. I decided to surprise him, by getting a baby sitter and taking a half day at work so we could go drive the truck and very likely purchase it. WE GET THERE, ONLY TO FIND OUT THEY SOLD THE TRUCK AT 11 that morning, . . WE LIVE 2.5 HOURS AWAY.Jay had no idea who we were or what we were the to see... I had called and spoke with Brian that morning,he told me the address and that I should ask for Jay and i even text him at 11:40 to confirm the documents I needed to bring with me, in which he responded and told me I could print them at the office . . There is no reason I shouldnt have gotten a call, email, text, telling me the truck I wanted had sold. Im not mad about them selling a vehicle, understandable, but have youre ducks in a row and know when you have test drives scheduled. My husband had made an appointment before me for 5:45p this same day and didnt receive and information about the truck being sold either. Then jay tries to sell us on a truck exactly the same, pulls it around and is not a crew cab, which is what one of our criteria was. GET A PROCESS IN PLACE, START WITH COMMUNICATING WITH EACH OTHER. .YOUR OFFICES ARE 3FT APART. ...

It was stressful to say the least. My temporary plate expired because they had not gotten the title to the SOS so I was unable to get my car plated. Then I called them was not issued a second temporary plate but was told I would have to wait another day to get the title at the SOS. For two days my new car sat in the driveway unable to be drove because they did not get this taken care of in a timely manor. I then had to pay for the plate which for the inconvenience I had to deal with should have been paid at the very least. Im very disappointed and wouldnt recommend this company for anyone.

Worst Experience EVER! I believe every good review online about Walters has to be fake because they are horrible and I would never recommend them to even my worst enemy.I bought a truck from Walters Automotive and right before I drove it off the lot, the check engine light came on. A few days later I took it to an Auto shop and had the codes ran only to find out 9 codes came up with multiple sensors going out.Under normal circumstances, this doesnt happen and even the auto shop guy told me that he never sees this many codes with a chevy truck, especially at the same time. He and I both believe the dealer hooked up a code reader before putting the vehicle on the lot and erased the codes in the computer. This would cause a test drive to go well without a check engine light coming on until many miles (usually about 30 - 50) down the road.When I told Walters Automotive that I didnt want the vehicle and I had already called the lender to ensure the deal wouldnt go through, they came and took the vehicle. However, they are refusing to give me my down payment back and have spoken to me through email as if I am less than human.Oh, and yes, this is a Yo-Yo sale as they wont have approved financing for you when you leave the lot. There is a real possibility they will come take your vehicle from you even if you want it, since they dont secure financing before you leave. I called the lender after I had the vehicle for 6 days and they still hadnt approved the deal.They will shove papers in front of you without much of any kind of explanation and the deal wont even be the correct numbers. They make it look like youre putting down more than you are to try and get you approved, then they jack up the sales price by about $2K and tell you it’s to cover lenders fees. However, those fees are never spelled out for you and they barely explain anything as papers are just put in front of you and youre told to sign here, initial there without any real Truth in Lending Statement or any real explanation as to what youre buying.The people here are very condescending and simply dont care about anything but their bottom-line and their profit. They rationalize their actions by telling me that I am basically a horrible person due to my bad credit and they have every right to keep my down payment.In addition to being sold a horrible vehicle, the first test drive I took didnt even make it out of the parking lot, as the truck died twice. The second truck I test drove we took down the road to AutoZone and spend over an hour checking it out to make sure it was in good shape. However, there is no way to know that multiple sensors and codes were causing issues. This didnt come to my attention until minutes before leaving their parking lot.They are claiming that since the vehicle was sold AS-IS, they dont owe me my down payment back. So, not only do I not have a vehicle, but I am also out $750 due to these scam artists. I would NEVER buy from these people again and if you search online, youll quickly find out I am not the only one that has been screwed by this company.They sell bad vehicles and tell you they are all you can get approved for with your credit. There are plenty of Better car dealers willing to work with bad credit. Dont buy from Walters, they will not give you a fair deal.

Told us on the phone their not based on credit but monthly earnings 1200.00 min i alone make tripple that and mind you we both have great credit. Got their found the truck i wanted, wouldnt start. So we hooked cabels up and it fired up drove great. Got back said my credit wasnt good enough 763 at the time was my score. Then said they had someone driving 3 hours away to buy it cash...they had two the same year and make, color was diffrent and one was a regular cab and other quad cab with about same mileage so i asked about those..those were already sold but sitting in the very front for all to see. We left very pissed off. A couple days later some prick calls and asks if were still interested in the exact same truck we were just someone was buying cash. I told him no we left his piss poor exuse for a dealership and went a got the exact same truck with lower milage and price in elkhart. He didnt like that so he starts cussing at me. I have my laugh for the day and the notion to never return to that bummy ass place

Just like when they say that they finance in house, thats also a bold face lie. First thing they did was run my credit report and then they started calling outside financial sources. I was there on a Saturday and was told by this Clint character that he would personally call me back on Monday and here it is Wednesday and not one peep from one person and this so called great car lot! I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone and I am contemplating contacting the Indian attorney general about their false advertising practices. All in all if they have a way to make the star rating a negative one I would give them a negative 5 star rating. Garbage car lot!!

Very unprofessional and disrespectful there. Sold us a nice looking SUV with problems we did not know about. Then tried to accuse us of being the reason it tore up. Called cussed me over phone. Went down there for an apology and was cussed and called a hillbilly and trailer trash repeatedly. They chest bumped my son and told him to get the F out. Will not being doing business with them ever.

Absolutely horrible. I called Walters in Goshen and asked for a certain vehicle they said it was on the lot. I made an appointment and gave them some information. Two days later I called and asked to speak with Jordan, The man said on the phone he wasnt available I explained I needed to change my appointment, the man said he would take care of it and let Jordan know. I then called the day before to make sure the truck was still available and they would not tell me they said Jordan was going to discuss that with me and he would call me back. The day of the appointment we still didnt get the phone call back so we decided we would drive to Goshen and take our chances. We drove two and a half hours and when we showed up I asked for Jordan and he when He greeted me he said you must be Joe I said no Im Ben. He had no clue of our appointment. We gave him all the information and I asked if the truck was on the lot. He looked in his computer and said nope it was sold the day before. So fast forward two hours we still didnt hear if we were approved or anything. Then Jordan had the balls to ask me and my wife to sit elsewhere cause he had more people coming in to meet him. We left a half hour later without an approval. Then today we got a letter from Walters stating they could not finance us because of credit even thou my wife has a 650 top score. I thought everyone drives at walters. Also the trucks I looked at were damaged filthy on the inside and one of them had a roll of homemade sausage in the truck bed. They also have a huge dog the roams inside the building with no regard to peoples fear or allergies to dogs. STAY AWAY...

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I purchased a vehicle from walters that I had known had an issue with the fuel system pre-purchase. We signed a contract agreeing they would fix the issue for me free of charge. I had to call them every week for months before they finally returned my calls. After which they had me bring in the vehicle, supposedly they had worked on it, but the problem persisted. So I brought the vehicle back in and was told they dont have any idea what the problem is and when i showed them the written contract I was informed they were under different management when the contract was signed and that we just dont really care anymore. So instead of taking them to civil court and paying court fees I figured it would just be cheaper to get the issue fixed, which I did. In summary, this is a very dishonest and undercutting business and I would encourage everyone not to buy from this shady car dealership.

Drove by this lot on a Tuesday and decided to test drive a vehicle in the class of vehicles we were looking for. At first were told it had 70,000 miles. Then 120,000. Then when we saw the Carfax, noticed it was 130,000. Not to worry, though, they had a great warranty program, which would cover everything for 100,000 miles (which we NEVER saw any information on). The salesman, Jay, was sure it was an all wheel drive. With this information, we were confident enough and put down a down payment to hold the vehicle, but required that they fix the brakes before we paid the rest in full. We were told they would do this at no cost to us. We agreed to come back and pick up the vehicle in 2 days when the brakes were fixed. We let them know we were in a hurry to get home, since we had a diabetic child getting off the bus shortly. A second salesman stopped us while Jay had my license making copies. He double checked what the Jay told us, trying to get us to take the vehicle as was, minus the cost of the brake repairs. We told him we HAD to leave, getting a ticket on the way hurrying home to our diabetic child because we were not told our license would be held hostage while a second salesperson talked to us. I was double-checking this vehicle online the next day and noticed it was a Front Wheel Drive, not an All Wheel Drive. I called Jay immediately and said this vehicle will not work for us. I told him I would be back in town the following Monday and would pick up my deposit then. When I stopped by Monday, he was at their other lot. His boss said he did not know anything about the deal not going through. I stopped back by an hour later. Jay said, didnt you get my message Saturday? There was no message Saturday. He said they werent going to refund our money because they put money into the brakes under the assumption we would buy the vehicle. I reminded him of how he was sure it was an all wheel drive, but it wasnt. I asked him, dont you want vehicles that work properly for all your customers? He said honestly, most of our customers dont have good credit, so they dont care. My boss and I (who wasnt aware of the situation 1 hour earlier, so who couldnt have known about it for a phone message Saturday) want you to get your money back, but the owner wont let us give it back. There is a reason this company is not part of the Better Business Bureau. If you Google it on your phone, you will find a D+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, and see that they have not receive any response from this company to discuss complaints. You will also notice that most of the positive reviews on Google are from A Google User. These could easily have been written by a company person to boost review ratings.

Called 6 times on a vehicle and asked do you have the car. They said yes its in the front row. I get there after a 2 hour drive Jay which was rude said o that truck got sold a week ago. Walked out and called and then got told that the car was at another location but it was getting a trans and wouldnt be able to see it for a week. Total crap

I called ahead the day before to make sure that both the Elkhart and Goshen locations had cars in my price range. The lady I spoke with confirmed that they did. So we drove half an hour to Elkhart to find out they really didnt. Then we were told the Goshen lot did. So we went there. Before we could really speak, we were thrown into an office and having a credit check ran on me. Because I wasnt planning on this, I didnt have pay stubs with me. They didnt seem to think they could give me any information about financing without those... until I went to leave. Then the manager came out and was SUPER pushy and rude. He had a horrible attitude. He didnt want to listen to our requirements and showed me a ridiculously high priced vehicle that still had the check engine light on... total waste of time. Rude people, pushy people, major bad attitudes. Plus they had big dogs roaming around the offices which was really strange and unsettling. If I could rate 0 stars I would.

I spoke to 2 salesmen about what I was looking for and where I was coming from (wanting to avoid a wasted 2.5 hr trip each way). Both said they had plenty selection with my criteria (under 100k miles and no more than an average of 9k p/year...ie: 10 suv would have no more than 36000 miles on it). I got there only to discover they had one vehicle. When I went to test drive it, I discovered that there were multiple marks on the car, it wasnt cleaned in the inside (looked like it had never been cleaned), the back windshield wiper was completely torn off the vehicle (they said it came like that), and when I finally test drove it, I noticed that the steering wheel started shaking at 60 MPH and got extremely worse by 80 MPH which wasnt good for someone who lives off of I65 between Indy and Chicago. These people REALLY wasted my time AND money (since I drove from Lafayette to Goshen). Based on lack of preparation for the appointment that I confirmed I was coming to the day of and the mechanical and visual issues with the ONE vehicle they had that met just the mileage requirement, I would NEVER go there to buy a car.

Worst experience from a car dealership. I had originally asked about financing, I then told them, I wasnt interested. I continued to get texts and emails from them asking me to call them. I repeatedly told them I wasnt looking any more. I email yesterday (a couple months later) asking for some information on a car. I recieved an email from Gabe Walters with information on a completely deifferent vehicle that I had requested information on. I asked for information on a different vehicle and he said that in the past I had avoided them and that if I wanted anything, I needed to call into Walters at that point. I was very upset and told him that was terrible customer service and that I kept my cool with them in the past harrassing me, when I repeatedly told them I wasnt interested and now he couldnt give me the time of day when I request information. He emailed back and didnt not have any apologees or any explanations, he sarcastically replied have a nice day :). Hmm how funny it is that this car dealer was totally there to help find a vehicle only when it was convenient to them. I dont know if this is the owner based on his last name, but if it was, how does he think he has gotten anywhere in his business without his customers, he definately should have a little more respect for them all the time and not just when he is trying to get something out of them.

Wish I could give them 0 stars. This place is a joke! Every time my husband called them about financing and down payment he could never talk to the same guy and each different guy told a different story. We told a salesman that we were coming from 2 hours away to look at a truck and most likely purchase. He confirmed the truck was on their lot. We get to the Goshen location and was told sorry its not on our lot. Ill try to call our other location to see if it is there but in the mean time I can get you in a comparable truck. I said no thanks I want to see the specific truck I asked about and was told would be on your lot. We waited over 30 mins for the salesman to call Elkhart lot to only be told the truck was not on their lot either. So the truck that was on the lot and available two hours prior just vanished and noone knew anything about it. I have 1 word....SCAM!!!!!!Also, while waiting there was 3 other salesman outside playing football and hit multiple cars/trucks with the football. Very unprofessional and nothing but lies from the company!!!Avoid at all costs!!!!

VERY disgusted with the lack of professionalism from these guys! I called EVERY SINGLE DAY for over a week on the same exact vehicle and was told it would be here and ready for you, all you need is $500 down bring some paystubs, proof of address and references. I even called the evening before I made the trip and confirmed the vehicle was there and that I was set to go. Took me over an hour to get to the Lot in Elkhart and once I arrived the vehicle WAS NOT there. I asked about it the guy told me it was at the lot in Goshen .. First off before leaving the Elkhart lot I didnt see a car worth even test driving 99% of the vehicles there has some kind of back end damage, busted tail lights, rusted out bumpers, holes in some. just terrible! After he told me the vehicle was at Goshen lot he refused to give me the address or even a phone number. So I drove the extra 15-20 minutes to Goshen to there lot there... AGAIN the vehicle I requested for OVER a week was no where on the lot. When I asked someone there about it he stated that vehicle was not one of Walters they were advertising it for another dealer.. BS! I would not recommend these guys to anyone.. Unless your looking for a Bait N Switch car lot!

If I could give them 0 starts I would. Make up a car, any car, call and ask if its available, the answer is always yes until you get there and they tell you they just sold it. SWITCH AND BAIT!!!! Just AWFUL!

I most recently visited walters auto sales after applying on line, they told me they could not discuss rates and fees or payments over the phone so i made the 2 hour drive to look at buying a preowend car from them, they say no credit check, no credit needed, 500 dollars down the advertise on many cars, I showed up with my wife and kids, the salesman told me they dont push your info thru untill you show up, so he re entered all my info that I pervouisly had entered on line took all the documents they asked me to bring and made us sit and wait with 4 kids, never once explained how they work, it was over hearing another salesman talking to his customer that they pull your credit and base your down payment off your credit, after 2 hours of waiting with 4 antsy kids, I asked the salesman if he had got an approval yet because everyone else had he said let me check and then came out and said yes you need $1500. I said that was far off from there $500 the advertise and I would go else where. I would recommened you go somewhere else to buy a car before stopping here, most buy here pay heres are very up front from the get go on the down payment and dont make you drive 2 hours and sit for another 2 hours with your 4 kids and yank your chain like these people did, what a joke!

Stay away from walters used cars in elkhart. The salesmen are very pushy and always trying to rush you. I was very uncomfortable with their tactics. I felt like was trying to be taken advantage of the whole time. This is the definition of a bad used car dealer!!!

I drove an hour down there to buy a Jeep. I called before hand and was told it was on the lot then when i get there Im told it was sold a long time ago, Liars. Had me go to both lots, thanks for wasting my time. Fix your stupid website and stop showing vehicles you dont have to sell.

After reading and buying 1 peace of junk car from here I am sticking to affordable auto rental and sales 1 out of 6 was a limon the other 4 I blew up myself on accident

TERRIBLE WASTED 2 Hours and gas to get there to see a non-existent truck and then it is still on there web site!! Bad sellers and they are all not family! They change the email to have the walter FALSE advertising!

My friend had a buyers agreement to buy a car from this dealer. He had taken loans and also bought the car insurance. We were about to go and make the payment in few hours but received a message that they have sold the car. I wonder how much unprofessional is this company.
