I Came to the Gold Digger to sell the other day, the older white guy and the young lady were very helpful, and knowledgable. But I did find it a bit odd that the older man began pushing on the women and bad mouthing her. Hope you two were playing around.

Tried to sell a diamond ring here, left a another jewelers after being offered $2000 cash for it, for them to tell me its only worth $600. They tried to scam me by telling me to sell it on OfferUp, or Facebook which is not real cause no buys jewelry on there. Needless to say if they lie about this what else are they lying about. I find it best to avoid companies that will lie to your face and attempt to trick you into wasting your time selling it, while they get a liquidated price and expensive jewelry. Honestly one of the most nasty business Ive ever walked into avoid the older bald man, and the younger chatty woman. They are excellent at what they do and will rob you blind... Its really sad...

Avoid at all costs, they will finesse you in the store! They lied to a customers face while I was there running endless calculations about how his gold had gone down $40 in value in a single week! I invest in gold regularly that is unheard of so of course I do more investigation work gold had only dropped 2% in value yet this mans jewelry was now worth 17% IN VALUE!! They will tell you to sell it on OfferUp, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist etc! THIS IS A SCAM, you will absolutely not any jewelry on any of those sites. You need to get the jewelry certified at a jeweler (GDI, etc..) than attempt to sell it personal party via EBAY or find a jeweler that will purchase but only while you know its actual worth to avoid getting scammed! They absolutely know you will not sell it, so they will tell you to list for jewelry for some absurd price! DONT DO IT!

Friendly place to buy

Researched other places to go to but read great reviews on The Gold Digger so decided to check it out.I was immediately greeted with a smile upon entering the location. I wasnt rushed and Regina made me feel very comfortable as she examined the jewelry I brought. I didnt even feel like a customer... I felt like I knew her already because she was just very friendly. The price I was given was much higher than what I was expecting. Regina made sure I understood the process and gave me a breakdown on how the cost of each piece was calculated. The transaction process was easy. I would go back if I ever need to sell old jewelry again.Thank you for your help!

I came here wanting to sell my necklace. The people that work there were awesome and super nice, more importantly they were willing to help me 100%. Gave me awesome advice, what would benefit me and not them. I ended up not selling my necklace to them, but the nice lady gave me numbers as to how much I could make online and she even offered me to meet my online buyers at their store ( for my safety ). Good bless them!!!

I thank the owner for the reply and I have to agree that I was upset that I felt I got shortchanged for the number of coins I had sold to the lady who was running the shop at the time.I just felt she really wasnt happy that she probably had to work that day, I previously read some of the reviews from past customers who described the place as a fun and joyful place were not only their prices were good but that if you wanted a coin appraised they would do it with a smile and for free I didnt get either. But because the owner responded to my review it shows he does care about his customers and this just made me rethink about my original post and because of his sincerity I had to change it! Way to go, that was what I call Superior Customer Service ! And I will return to make a purchase you got some beautiful items there..

Horrible. The girl at the front ragina or whatever her name was is rude and doesn’t care about her customers, she’s just like get in and get out. Never coming there again trust me

Well I came to shop to get some advice and also to say hello to mark, I heard great things. I was greeted by his syster very nice and friendly person, loved talking to her. She gave me information I needed to move forward with a sale. If I ever want to purchase a ring or jewelry I will come to this shop. Got to meet two great honest people.

Ive been there several times for advice and twice to sell some old jewelry. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and very kind. He goes out of his way to explain things. Hes very warm & friendly and very honest. He gives the best prices in all of Elk Grove and Sacramento. Hes even done quick repairs free of charge. Family business Mom and Pop shop. They know what theyre doing I always send people their way because they are good people. Really knows how to keep customers happy. He also remembers who you are even if its been a few years between visits.Im pretty sure the one bad reviewer is over exaggerating probably tried to get something for nothing and was angry that it didnt work.Someday Im going to have him make a custom ring for me.

Great place to learn about investing in precious metals. Honest, family friendly business, although it feels nothing like a business because their service is so superior.They even started my son off collecting coins by gifting him a Silver Eagle and a beautiful collectors book!By far the best gold/silver shop in the Elk Grove/Sacramento area!Thank you for your great service!

Everything GOOD people have said about the owner is 100% true. He has an incredible amount of knowledge and a keen eye when it comes to quality, value and authenticity. I recommend this place to anyone looking to buy or sell their valuable items. Hes able to give you an immediate evaluation and in my experiences in dealing with him he pays more than most places (and Ive been to all kinds of shops from North Sacramento to Elk Grove)!! Went to the store I was not knowing what to expect sense I had already been to several other stores to sell several pieces of jewelry and wasnt getting any prices close to what I was wanting.When I went into the store and asked if he could just appraise the items for me and he did. He also answered all questions I had about how much he thought I could get for them if I sold them privately. I went back after trying to sell them privately and he gave me a better price than anyone previously offered. Very professional, kind and also has several great well priced items for sale. Love this place!

Terrible access to the store. Not much for customer service. Are people aware of the true value of diamonds. That the value is 1/5th of the retail. That diamonds are straight from CARTEL. Hilarious Americans are. Not real impressed with the gold digger
