So we bought a kitchen from Home Depot... friendly staff, helpfull, and then...We were told 4 to 6 weeks for cabinets to arrive - 10 weeks later they finally do. Out of 21 cabinets 9 needed replacing doors and/or the cabinets themselves. 3 more weeks go by the doors arrive, only worse than what they were supposed to replace. After going back and forth we finally get decent cabinets.A few emails and calls to find out what is taking so long and the excuse was labor shortages, covid shortages2 of our friends replaced kitchen cabinets and countertops with two other places (stores) all done in 5 and 4 weeks respectively. So i guess no shortage for the other stores...We were told 1-2 weeks for the countertops. Right, awesome. I called and get we can come in 2 weeks to measure and then 2 weeks to make and install. Well we have no choice so ok. The day of installation, voice mail sorry we need another week, one of the pieces broke this morning So another week go by they finally come out and install the countertops, and install a piece that has a chip in it! When we saw it (because no one told us) we got oh we pit it on the paperwork and they are going to send someone to repair it...At this point were 5 months into kitchen remodeling, sick and tired from waiting for stuff so we just want in done.Even after the repair the spot is still visible thats an amazing repair we got... well sure when its not your house it is!Send a few email asking for some compensation due to all the delays... no answer at all.Used to shop in HD on just about daily basis, extremely disappointed and will not shop or recommend again.If you need a kitchen remodeled, my advice STAY AWAY FROM HOME DEPOT!

My small family buisness has shopped this store for over 15 years and recently during a flooring purchase my business debit card was used., on this instance it was declined not once but twice.I immediately at the register with the cashier present looked online at my account and was in fact charged both times .I immediately informed the manager Jamel to the situation and he assured me it would drop off my bank charges but if it did not to contact him The following day it didnt fall off and I went in to advise him it didnt Fall off. Well its Been over 3 weeks now and I have gone in to the store numerous times to talk to managers as well as online customer service and ultimately after well as disputed this transaction with my bank.My business debit card is solely for material deposits and the money had to be pulled and shifted around as BOA said it may take up to 90 days to resolve as home depot has yet to respond to them reguarding this situation .Bill Danforth, Danforth Carpentry p.s ultimately used my home depot commercial card to pay for the flooring with no problem at all.

I have been to this particular Home Depot several times and I have always had prompt customer service. Items are well stocked and the employees have been pleasant.

This is a great store with friendly people, but what ruined it for me was the man in plumbing. He was very rude and dismissive all I was trying to ask for was a part for my shower and he wouldnt even let me ask my question. I had to tell him wait and let me ask my question. So he proceeded to talk over me tell me nothing could work and go to another store and walked away annoyed. Ive worked at home depot and never treated customers this way sad how people can ruin a store with a bad attitude.

Went there today to return a yellow jacket trap that didnt even catch one! Had it hung up three weeks! The cashier was so friendly and even joked about it. No problem returning it and with a smile! Great customer service!

This is THE WORST Home Depot. Do not try and rent tools/trucks from this location. I called ahead to make sure they had trucks available for rent. The women at the front desk said they had some available and to come in. I see two trucks in the parking lot and walk in. The worker tells me they have no trucks available and that its not possible to reserve one for tomorrow. He just shrugged his shoulders and didnt even apologize for the misinformation provided by another employee. Every single time I go to this Home Depot, I have problems. They have the worst customer service!

Pretty good place but some of the workers are grossly incompetent. One couldn’t believe that there are different sizes of screws and another didn’t know how to read inches on a ruler. Be careful who you ask questions to.

They have everything you need for projects. There are consistently employees around to ask for help. Service at the pro desk is also very good if you need to rent a truck, tools, or equipment. Overall, a good experience every time.

Unfortunately, I seem to run into a lot of misogynistic white employees who dont believe a woman could possibly know anything. I worked in hardware and electrical/plumbing for ten years, and lighting for 5, but sure, tell me what Im doing wont work. 🙄 Also, an employee giving very basic wrong electrical info is dangerous, so they should make sure their employees are trained. Another irritating experience, and if Menards was an option for what I needed, definitely would have gone there.

I am pro customer who has spent over $100k at all the different Home Depot stores combined in the past 5 years. So not much comes as a surprise. But it was surprising to see that of the 10 kitchen cabinets that we ordered online for store pickup, 7 had damage on it. 5 of them had damage in the side or back, or it was cosmetic damage so we ended up using those to keep our project from being delayed. 2 were totally useless. Called the store. They said it was an online order so it might have been damaged during shipping to the store. They made phone calls and tried to offer a fair resolution but in the end, the outcome was to return the damaged cabinets and order them again. So basically no courtesy was extended from Home Depot about a $2000 order gone horribly wrong other than saying that I need to haul the bad cabinets back (at my expense) and to wait 2 more weeks to get the replacements. Perhaps the order was in fact mishandled before it even reached the store, but I didnt know where else to leave a review about this incident so will tag the review to the store where I picked it up from.Update: I should add to my review that Lisa at the store was great to work with, and tried her personal best. I appreciate her effort.

If you have any sort of home improvement projects, you can find what you need at Home Depot.

I went into home depot looking for a specific toilet, to assist with my child that is handicapped.The store was out of the style I needed, that was in my price range and the brand I was interested in.Laura and another manager assisted me in finding a good product and adjusting the price, so it was affordable for me.I am so grateful for their kindness, help, and compassion.I would recommend this location to anybody and everybody. 🤩

My 80 year old dads loves this place.... recently he had a plumbing issue that was driving him crazy and he planned on blow torching the pipes. Ugh, I quickly ran to elk grove Home Depot and thank goodness for Renato in the plumbing department. He found the replacement unit that my dad needed and walked me though the concept. Thank you Renato!

Went to return some items. When scanned into the system, one of the items showed that it had been returned already. The customer service representative (my receipt says Josey), didn’t care to resolve the issue. If I returned the item already, why would I still have it?Other than her being unpleasant and unhelpful and unfriendly, everyone else was great here. Paint department was helpful & provided great tips. Self checkout crew was welcoming and attentive. I’d give 5 stars, but Josey really killed it for me.

During this particular visit the service was above average. We were looking outdoor solar lights. An associate helped us locate the model we wanted and even brought stock down from the warehouse

Had everything in stock that we needed. Strange experience at the garden center, the young woman rang us up and walked away. Did not hand me receipt or wait for me to finish transaction. I kind of think of the garden center as self serve now. I had to run around and find someone to put mulch in my car. Poor kids in the garden center seem mismanaged.

We went for screws and bolts. Somehow we purchased a tree for our house. They had a very nice selection of plants and trees for the home. It was very cold outside and we didnt want to damage the plants during transport so a helpful employee (they arent hard to find) was able to help us with just enough wrapping for a successful transport. Great applause to Nicko for his patience and smile throughout the process as the green thumb of the family is rightfully particular 😉 about his plants. The experience at this home depot was great, no problem with stock, finding a cart, checkout after the wrapping was a breeze and the parking lot was well lit. In fact we went back the 2nd day to buy another tree. They both are beautiful. By the way we found all the screws and bolts we needed. Thank you again Home depot and Nicko.

Love this place! I like to walk around for ideas. I went in for light bulbs for my fan and a door mat. It is overwhelming how many lightbulbs there are to choose from! I asked n employee and he was actually from the tool department. He found the lighting guy but he was with another customer. He then proceeded to take me himself and directed me. Then the lighting guy came back and together they figured out what I wanted. Excellent customer service everytime I go. Im not that educated on this home stuff but they never make me feel stupid. I just keep learning as I go!

I like Home Depot, they have a vast selection of things that can spur the creative juices. The only downside is that it can still be difficult to find an employee to help occasionally, not terrible but it could be better. Parking is plentiful, good nursery section, and lots of hand tools.

Used curbside pick up. Followed instructions for notifying store I had arrived. Waited and waited....finally texted again. More people arrived to use curbside. Eventually staff brought my package AND the arrival AFTER ME at the same time. I waited 10 minutes, they waited far less. Like curbside option tho. Just not organized. When they text you the order is ready you expect thatthe order is ready when you arrive.

It was very clean and pretty organized. The staff were helpful when they saw us looking at the keys. I hope they repair their woodcutter soon because we really needed to do that, but it was close to closing time for them. They have tool rental and moving equipment if you need it, and a place to park your truck to pick up your purchase in the front. All-in-all a pretty good store.

Purchased an Andersen patio door from here. Brought it out to the jobsite to find out it was damaged. They were quick to help replace door and get me back to jobsite. It was only 15 degrees out so time was important. Before and after photos.

Good place for shopping material. However to many service persons walking around sometime, two three and four guys without any reason. Just walking, who’s know where and for what. Prices for materials jumping like crazy. Every few weeks a new higher price . For example . Lumber 2x4 96” from $ 2.30 skyrocket above $ 6.70 almost 300% up. Should I rise my prices for customers also 300% ? IMO contractors should start fight back with those prices and rise they prices for labor .What about remodeling bathroom ? Rise prices from $ 6 K up to $ 18K ?? Why not ?

The paint department is a joke. Inaccurate color matches, poorly trained and understaffed. Save yourself some time and frustration by going to actual paint stores like jc licht or sherwin.

One of the nicer home depots iv been in. They keep a good inventory and staff is useful and friendly unlike some other locations (Northlake).

To be completely honest, I do not foresee utilizing this store in the future for any appliance delivery and/or installation. From day one it was nothing but a hassle and took a couple months to finally have the proper washer and dryer installed.After installation the machines were shaking and unusable. When I called Home Depot and asked them to come out and remove the shipping bolts, they explained that the delivery service would not come back out since it was past 30 days. I was also told that I would have to call Bosch for a service repair. (This information was left in a voicemail.)I made an appointment with Bosch who came out and notified me that the problem was in fact the shipping bolts (as they had assumed) which should have been removed upon installation and that he would have to charge me for the service. Immediately I called Home Depot to be told they never said the delivery people wouldn’t come back out and were unaware of the problem because there weren’t any notes!I’m so disgusted with the lack of customer support and morals! I shouldn’t have had to pay for the Bosch service call and fully expect to bring my Bosch receipt into the store and play the very clear voicemail for them. Maybe then they’ll be able to own up to their faults and do what is right in this situation.

Always have what I need

Mike in Rental was the worst representative that Ive come across. I called HomeDepot and selected Rental department to talk to someone there. I called them when I got into the car, was holding the phone all the way through the drive,and no one answered. To the point where I even reached HomeDepot 13 mins and 29 seconds later, walked into the Rental department and was amazed to see a man working there pretty close to the desk and phone was ringing which he didnt care to answer. I said, Sir, that phone ringing is Me and Ive been holding the phone thats ringing for 13+minutes. His answer was Ok!From here onwards it was one of the most worst experience that Ive ever had. I was there to rent a paint sprayer, I was asking the person how it operates and things like that and his answer was read the manual. Absolutely ridiculous and pathetic experience ever!

I like that I can search online and if I get a hit on Home Depot, they tell me how many they have in stock and where to find it in the store.

The employees dont really try to help you, they either just walk right by you or actively try to hide from you. I was looking for a nut that would fit the quick-release on a front bicycle wheel. I was in the aisle for 20 minutes and no one came to as if I needed help. 3 employees walked by without saying anything and when I gave up looking and tried to find someone, they started dodging me. Im generally not a fan of Home Depot and try to avoid it unless absolutely necessary. This one, Ill just avoid period... Ill go out of my way to even go to a different Home Depot just because its not this one.

They had a wonderful selection of healthyplants to shoes from considering it is the second week of June. The plants were watered. I found exactly what I wanted to put in my shade garden. The workers were helpful. Sydney is the person who checked out my order. Very nice.

I had a hard time finding where to park for curbside pickup, and after driving around the poorly lit parking lot for 5 mins looking for it, I finally found the 4 spots, curbside pickup was no longer available. Inside, the line was too long and the store was too crowded, so I had to leave without getting my order. All other hardware stores I’ve done curbside from have curbside pickup available until closing. I don’t understand why Home Depot is any different. If they weren’t the only store currently carrying the product I needed, I would go to another store.

Garden center was all set up, but no one working or managing this am. It looked like they had a nice drive through system for mulch, soil, etc., but no one knew what to do. I asked for help on 20 bags, and was quickly helped, but had to get flat cart on opposite side by lumber, go to back of garden center, load up, take through entire store to pay, then load up car out front. When more people get there, it will be a nightmare. Manager needs to let workers know what to do. Other frustrated customers were starting to roll in looking for flat carts and also sent to lumber area.
