I do not understand barometer people are rating this place with? Its possibly the worst location in NJ. Its almost never open, it almost never opens on time, its almost always closed around 2pm (how does this place make money in the picture I posted its 1:45pm), when it is open the line is ridiculous, the order ahead app is normally disabled, the staff doesnt really care, its excruciating to watch the staff with ZERO sense of urgency work. I frequent this location because its so close to my house. But I always prepare myself for disappointment.

This is one of the best Starbucks that I’ve visited. As someone who works at the mall once a week or so, I frequently buy some of the employees Starbucks drinks.Over the past few months with the pandemic, the store manager Laura has lead her Starbucks team through a very challenging time. Despite lines frequently out the door, the wait times have been minimal and the order has always been correct.There is something to be said for a Starbucks that is consistent and reliable.Today I made several visits to the store to buy multiple orders, and Laura was right in the mix helping when the store was busy.Victor and Laura and many of the other employees are particularly charismatic and each visit has been a 5 star experience!Definitely recommend this store and to not be discouraged by the long lines as they are a lot more efficient than you would normally expect from a Starbucks.

The store manager Laura is super nice and friendly; literally never in a bad mood, and super attentive with customers. Best manager. Overall, the baristas are great too.

I enjoy the occasional cup of joe outside of my home... i prefer usually starbucks even though i just grab a black coffee

They closed early at 5:30pm on a Friday evening and it was closed on Sunday.The order i had tasted more like milk and water than a macchiato

Newly renovated! This means better lighting and modern look. Feels lest cluttered and crowded, at the cost of less seating.Mobile orders don’t always reflect if something isn’t available, which can be inconvenient for locals and regulars.Kudos to the staff for working diligently and attending to so many tourists!

I ordered around 4pm and got delayed to pick it up by 30 minutes. Since the coffee was cold. They redid a new drinks and offered a new drink for me. Kids menu of white chocolate milk was provided with 2 glasses in order to kool it. Very thought provoking team.

PROS: This Starbucks has nice staff and is conveniently located in the center of the mall. They have tables in the hall way which is a common courtesy that is non-existent to many other places outside of the food court.CONS: They take forever to get your order ready. I know theres a crowd of people but remember, you got a bunch of workers back there AND other starbucks locations who also deal with crowds whip up your order fasterOVERALL: If theres no crowd or if you order on the app then get it from this place but if you dont wanna waste time then go somewhere else

8 people behind the counter and I still waited over 20 mins for my beverage. Will avoid this location in the future.

This was the first time for me coming to this location and it’s filthy inside and outside, really long lines I had to wait nearly a half hour for 2 drinks and a danish, my drink very sugary and tasted awful for the price 😩😩.The staff was nice though

Nothing like having good coffee after shopping. My fav is the java chip frappe. Good seating outside and place follows the covid guidelines to the tee.

Slowest Starbucks I have seen. And I have visited around 100.Edit - its such an excruciating pain to watch this people work. They dont have a leader, they need extreme coaching and training and orders are super inconsistent. I have seen nitro cold brews served with ice? Massive lines of customers waiting and so on...

Was pretty much what you expect from a Starbucks. Im always surprised and a little disappointed when you have to wait because they ran out of coffee. How does a Starbucks not have fresh coffee always ready to go?

This was the worst Starbucks experience that I have ever had, without a doubt.The entire store was a complete disaster, with sticky coffee residue on the counters, boxes blocking 30% of the store, and trash on the counters.Also, one of the baristas was rude in giving my order and by not giving any attention to something I needed in addition to my order. This seems to be due to the baristas being overworked and understaffed.

Havent tried this place before but this place has expensive drinks and to be honest I had it twice on the same week but the first time I tried it was BANGING!!!THE EMPLOYEES ARE FRIENDLY AND POLITE

Hey Mills Starbucks, please change your hours on Google to reflect the proper opening time. I had to wait 20 minutes for service because online it said it was open at 8am, and they didnt open until 8:30am. Im not from the area so going to another Starbucks wasnt really an option. Would love to save others the hassle I went through, so you should update as soon as possible.

Ok so I just visited Starbucks today...and I expected my service to be as great as last time. But ok I come in and customize my drink to the way I want it and I ask for sugar free syrup..Im on a diet specific to staying off sugar..when I receive my drink it is sweeter than I imagined Im not sure what they put but I know it was not sugar free. Yummy but really too sweet....

Today was a very horrible experience for me at this location. First, when walking into this location it was boxes all over even blocking the area by the second door at the very end. Due to these boxes being in the way, me and my family couldn’t sit over in the section where the furniture is located. I feel that those big boxes should’ve been put away. Not only that when the employee had called for me to receive my drinks, there were condiment wrappers in that area where the drinks were being placed at for customers to come and receive their food and drinks. This location have to do some seriously cleaning, I honestly did not feel comfortable at this location and will no longer visit this location again!!!!

I ordered 4 items and asked for a cup of water for my daughter, guess what they told me to order it online. Never heard such statement.

The lady working here was rude, not friendly, and when we asked for the refill for the ice tea she said it can’t be done even though we have a gold card!! The dude working here however was friendly!

Got my first half of the order promptly and the second half 15 minutes later which would have been even longer if didnt inquire about it for a 2nd time. There machine was down and no one cared to tell me so I had to get something different.

Not usually a fan of Starbucks, tbh. I was their first customer of the day, staff was smiling, friendly and very polite. Cashier was multitasking and yet had the time to communicate, and got fresh coffee and food heated, at times like this you think today might be a good day. Im glad I stopped by, and I would definitely return the next time I have a 6am install at the Mall.

It was nice and clean. My only critique was that the guy who was wearing the Jeans cutoffs made my drink did not ask my name. So after taking several orders. He placed the drinks on the counters for pick up. He said nothing. So here we have multiple people touching the drinks to see if its theirs. I was turned off by that.

I waited 20 mins for a bagel and cream cheese . 15 minutes in I asked the barista about my order and she became snappy. Managers weren’t even engaging or apologetic . Clearly, I know it’s just a bagel but it was just unprofessional and totally disorganized .

Today I’ve ordered an pineapple black iced tea venti, they gave me an old order that someone else didn’t want. The drink tasted so bad I threw it out, it was honestly such a waste of $5. Come on, do better please don’t waste your time coming here. I had an mobile order, and they screwed it up. The workers here seem out to breathe. There’s other Starbucks in the nearby towns which make drinks way better.

I’ve been a starbucks customers for several years. However, I received the worst customer service experience at this location for the following reasons:1. Rude staff.2. I waited more than 30 minutes for a coffee. I asked twice about the status and the staff said my drink was coming up (it never came)3. Then, they gave me the wrong drink and wrong size.4. When I asked for a refund, they gave me an attitude and I still had to wait several minutes. The person who attended me gave me an attitude, rolled her eyes...Sorry starbucks, you lost a customer.

I had latte and hot chocolate both were perfect and smooth..This is not for the first time I had great experience.I have had different kinds of coffee from different Starbucks and the one that I use in Newport Jersey City NJ is not as good as I had in Jersey garden mall Starbucks..I would surely recommend this store only one catch if you are not mobile order than you might have to wait for long in que..Rest all awesome 👌👍

We were here on a slow day. Way to little staff members working. 35 min for two drinks, really pitiful. Dont waist your time, unless you have alot of it. Tried mobile ordering but doesnt work at this location, app just sits and spins.

Its the most hang out place for you to order food, appetizers, and a variety of coffee for you to choose from.

In the mall at height of the holiday season. Long lines. Only 5 Staff working . I hear it’s always busy at this particular Starbucks. Mgmt needs to hire more staff. Long lines out the door. Store dirty, dirty tables.

I always order hot latte with whole Milk but there is this barista she always mess my order, as I was standing there looking her preparing my order she used some other milk instead of ordering whole milk she’s unprofessional and kind of aggressive all the time. I really hate this place. It happens all the time with the same barista. So I recommend to hire some professional and decent people. Thanks

Nothing like what the reviews below state . At least not anymore. You can see that the store itself has made adjustments and IMPROVEMENT on their staff and customer service. I was guided through my first experience and they were very patient with me despite having a long line. I watched carefully as they attended others as well, and the patience was mutual for each individual. So glad to have had this experience. Bartista are very welcoming and charming. AND FUNNY. COME CHECK IT OUT !

Employees did not seem to be eager to tend to customers, and when i had ordered the smoked butterscotch latte, i then proceeded to my car drinking the coffee i felt something hard against my lip after each sip, i then opened the lid and saw that there was a baby roach floating in my drink. at first i thought that it was a uncooked coffee bean. i took it out to make sure that it was only that. i got it up the side of the cup and i noticed there were legs on it, so i looked a little closer and saw that it was a little roach! i threw the cup out of the window of the car as soon as i saw what it was. i shouldve taken a picture as proof but we were too far from them to make a complaint but i am no longer going to them anymore after that incident, obviously they did not care about the hygiene of their store.

Hey, when you’re staying a stones throw away at one of the 5 hotels (i.e. Marriott Courtyard) across the street, a really good Starbucks store inside this Jersey Gardens outlet store mall. Walk it in 5 - 8 mins. Lower level by the way, under the main (street level) food court area. And, this Starbucks opens promptly at 8 AM (weekday). The opening staff is eager to serve you. Tony, he was very pleasant, friendly & helpful. Good experience.

My order has been wrong from this place waytl many times but I visit this mall alot and this is the only Starbucks near this area. Currently they seem to have a bunch of new people training but management does seem to be actually training them. Everyone is new at some point but not with my 10$ coffee!!!

My coffee was not hot at all. I gently requested a hot one. They said no. The coffee ended up in the trash and I had to go somewhere else. What a waste of time

Honestly, Im a huge fan of Starbucks but this place has to be the slowest thus far. You wait on line for 20 minutes and then wait another 30 minutes for your drink and it doesnt even come out that great. The only way this store is succeeding is because the airport is right next to them . Another thing is they need to be staffed !!! The current staff is slow and not nice at all. The only good thing I have to say about this place is that the managers are nice but theyre workers are only good at rolling their eyes and sucking their teeth!! Corporate has to pay them a surprise visit becsuse somrthing has to be fixed with this place !!!
