Very highly recommended. I came in with a check engine light issue. The tech diagnosed the issue immediately on my mercedes and the part was replaced in an hour. Something that other shops couldnt figure out these guys did. They gave me a discount on the labor rate and did not charge me for diagnostic as well. Its been a few days and the problem is gone, finally a shop i can trust and very reasonable pricing.

One of the scariest neighborhoods ever with the mechanic shops entrance way, way in the back. They do seem to know what theyre doing and a lot of people especially cab drivers use them. The bathroom is quite rundown and disgusting fyi.

These guys are awesome. I came in with antifreeze leaking from my radiator and I couldn’t find a shop around me that was open. I drove up here and Junior had the radiator ready for me to be put in. My very best experience at a shop where you will find the best service done to your car and most importantly these guys won my heart by being honest about the job. I have an idea when it comes to work needed on the car and most places would be sketchy but these folks are legit and hats off to the people . Got my oil change, some body work and parts related work done on the car and I have not had any issues. Everyone is friendly and proficient in which the work that I needed to get done on my car was completed within the time frame that was agreed on. A friend recommended this place and after previous experiences at another shop, I was hesitant but Saqib explained everything in great detail (giving a good deal) and his crew pulled through. Ive been coming here for the past 6 years and i recently had my 2015 mercedes s500 painted and they did a really nice job considering i purchased this car with hail damage. It was a time consuming job but they had it done for me in a very timely manner. Excellent job and an extremely smooth paint job. They had the car detailed for me as well which was a bonus.

This the best repair shop in the area hands down! I went in with my car and the workers were extremely polite and professional. Their prices were unbeatable as well. The service was very efficient and they made sure that everything was good. Saqib really made sure i was happy with the service and the whole shop gave a family vibe which was the best. This shop was recommended to me by a close friend. I had an issue with my car not starting here and there. Took it to a few shops and decided to try one more place. I came in and their electrician figured it out within 30 minutes and i only paid $60. If it wasnt for this shop my next stop wouldve been the dealer. Thanks Ali!

Unique Star Auto and Body Repair is the best repair shop to go to in the area. I had a great experience when I came in to repair my car and they offer the best prices. I come all the way from Manhattan to get my car fixed from this shop. Saqib has been so helpful each time and always provides the best service. They will not let you down!

I went to this shop a couple weeks ago because I read some reviews that it was open late. I had a simple job to get rear brake shoe replaced but these guys told me I needed to replace all rotors and front brake shoes as well. Luckily I kept the old parts with me. This past week I went for oil change and showed it to my mechanic and he said these guys ripped me as the rotors didnt need to be replaced. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Looks like good reviews are fake.

This body shop knows customer service and knows the value of customer satisfaction. They know a happy customer will bring in other customers which is great for business. Theyre extremely knowledgeable and know what theyre doing, so dont judge a book by its cover. The prices are very, very reasonable for the quality of work you get. The ONLY reason this is not a 5-star is because they told us the job would be done on a Weds. We called and it wasnt done, so they told us to pick it up on Thurs. We called in advance on Thurs to make sure it would be done, and they said pick it up later in the day. We went there, and it wasnt done. So they told us to come back Friday. Just be honest about the time the job will be done instead of wasting our time. This was also an issue with another customer that happen to be there at the same time as us. The customer was told it would be done and it wasnt... Overall, were satisfied with the job and the cons dont outweigh the pros of this shop, so Id definitely recommend coming here to get any auto-repairs done.

Freakin awesome! I busted my rim and tire right by the airport and searched for a shop that was open at 10:40 at night. Luckily this place was, and luckily enough their tow truck driver was in an he came an picked me up within 10 minutes. What a quick service. I came in and to my surprise they had parts available for my car which is a 2018 Suburban. Not only did i screw up my rim and tire my lower control arm was busted! Luckily they had parts in stock and did an alignment and got me out within 2 hours. Very happy with the pricing for both tow and repairs.I used to go to another shop in the area and they charged me $75 more for the control arm in November. Now i know where to go from now on. I asked for their pricing on other items and they are either same or lesser than the other shops in the area. Im so happy that they stayed open for me cause they close at 11-11:30pm on Friday and they got me in an out. Highly Recommended!

GREAT PEOPLE AND VERY HONEST SHOP!! I took my ENVOY to them the other day because of so much rain all of the sudden my wipers stopped working. I looked them up and noticed that they were the only shop open late. Their electrician checked it out and fixed a fuse. WIPERS were working and not only they charged me fair price they also checked out the check engine light and anything needed for future on my car without extra charge. Ive been going here for over two years for everything from oil changes to accident damage. They are fast, easy to work with and by far the best price in town. Also, very convenient for my commute into NYC as I can walk to the station. I drop off in the morning and pick up at night -- its so convenient. My guy Saqib who works there in the morning is a quality gent as well; always a pleasure to deal with.

This Shop is extremely the best. I had got into a accident and just looked them up cause they were in my neighborhood. The five stars they already had made me feel good about them. Extremely great customer service. Very reasonable price. Extraordinary work and talented crew couldn’t ask any more. This shop charged me $635 for replacing my driver side axle and tie rod. I checked for the price of the parts was $120 from buy wise. He charged me $515 labor for a 15 minute job. They people are thieves . Never go to this shop. They will rip you off and over charge you big time. I am taking the owner to court to refund me the money that was over charged

I definitely recommend this place they have been a huge help. I brought my Audi in with check engine light needed tuneup oil change and some electric work. I took my beloved 09 corolla here once to get my side mirror fixed, and Saqib took a look at my car and gave me an amazing deal on my front and rear bumper since it had some wear and tear. After my car got fixed, it didn’t even look like the same car! The shop did such a good job!! I would def recommendation this shop for any repairs you need! I googled this place due to it being close to my job. The ratings are high so I felt good about coming here. Boy Im glad I did. They always explain what they are doing and are speedy completing services. This is my go to place for my car!!!

Update 5/10/20:This issue has been resolved by the owner of the shop.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Update 4/17/20:Ali, Let’s be honest, it took you 4 months to resolve the issue. No one wants to come to a body shop which does not admit it’s mistake or resolve it with an unhappy customer before car leaves the shop. Secondly, you are still blaming me that my post is incorrect when I clearly explain with photos three attempts your painter took to match the outside of the hood and left the inside of the hood as is. And those three attempts only happened because I insisted it didn’t match otherwise your painter and Zia completely denied that the paint did not match.As for the chips on the exterior (see photo), I pointed them out to your painter and his response was that you guys did not make a new base and repainted on previous base that’s why the chip is still there. Let me add one more thing here, you guys painted the side of my windshield protector along with the hood. Such an irresponsible paint job (see photo).Since you bring up the headlight, who in the world makes a hole in the LED headlamp. Your shop did that and in return my bulb stopped working costing me more money than I was supposed to spend before the car came in. Which is exactly why I did not trust you guys to touch my car one more time.Lastly, Zia claimed to be an owner of the shop and was rude, lied multiple times and threatened to break my nose. If he wasn’t the owner, he shouldn’t have been allowed to deal with a customer. The owner of the shop should have intervened FOUR MONTHS AGO and resolved it. I don’t think anyone would want to come to a shop like this after reading the review. Good luck and keep lying.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Original 1/15/20:First of all, the owners are extremely rude - Zia has no respect for customers. Secondly, they took 3x the time they told me in the estimate. Lastly, they will charge you to fix but will do half job to save their labor, they are complete FRAUD. DO NOT go to this shop.In my estimate, I was told it will take 3-4 days to fix my car but they started work on Day 4 and told me to pick car on Day 7 and then extended 2 more days when I called to check status. I was patient and wanted them to do a good job but when I went on Day 9 to pick the car, I was shocked to see they only painted half the hood (see photo 1). On Day 11 the car was again not ready because they prioritized other customers. Finally, when it was ready the hood had a different paint from the rest of the car (see photo 2). What a shame! And to top it all, Zia told me he has no time to check the problem and wanted me to pay him full price in CASH otherwise, he wont release my car. I had to argue with him for 2 hours and then he finally agreed to fix it after a few days. I paid full price and took the car. A week later I dropped the car again, they told me 4 hours but took 2 day this time only to see the inside of hood still had two different paint colors as if a little kid had brushed it (see photo 3). Zia completely refused to fix it. Told me he had no time and that it was not covered in the price I paid earlier. He was rude to me and I had the worst experience with these guys. They are fraud. Stealing money from customers AND the government by working on cash.

I took my 2018 Honda Civic to them because my regular mechanic didnt have the proper FREON for my AC. I called around bunch of place no one seemed to have proper freon or the equipment for it and i didnt want to leave my car at the dealer for a week. I ended up giving this shop a call and they are fully equipped with new cars FREONs and hooked me up with best price half of what it wouldve cost me at the dealer and waste of time.THANKS GUYS APPRECIATE THE HELP!!! i will definitely be back for more work

Ive brought my car here a few times and I must say their service is truly outstanding. everyone knows what they are doing and they really care about their customers. Saqib has always been very helpful in assuring everything is done properly and making sure my car is test driven. I would definitely recommend this place.

I needed an alternator fixed after my job left my car hanging without even touching or even telling me that they couldnt get to it. So pissed off i googled repair shops in my area and low and behold i found this place with 5 star ratings. They were so nurturing and conveniently they closed later than most repair shops. They brought my car in for service right away. Jr was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. The price was affordable and the work done was phenomenal! I visit here 3rd time. Reasonable price. Awesome same day work. You just have to wait about 1 hour. First 2 times I went here with my 14 highlander for rotors and cross bar and this time with my mustang for radiator cover and hood struts..

I dont leave reviews but i must for this place. Im a struggling college student and somebody banged up my rear bumper and side panel. I got a few quotes from the body shops where i live in Fords nj. They were significantly higher and were going to hold my car for 2 weeks. A friend of mines recommended this place so i saw the reviews and decided to check it out for myself. They took my car in immediately and charged me only $400 for the job and gave it to me in two days, while the others quoted me $600-$875 and a minimum of 7-12 business days. I paid with my credit card just over $400 with taxes. The job was phenomenal and it looks like new.

My car got overheated and someone told me to go to this auto body shop. It’s a large size place next to Dunkin Donuts, I got in and a mechanic helped me immediately. I had the idea that it was the fan or the water pump but after he checked it up, it was a broken wire he fixed. This people did a great job, in just 46 minutes the problem got solved and I was in my way back home. They l told me they’re open to midnight. Located in Newark Avenue this store is real convenient, close to 1&9, 22 and North Avenue in Elizabeth. Definitely A+

ALI JUNIOR YOUR THE MAN. I brought my car in for an ac condenser an he had me out in an hour. He always took care of me on the pricing for the past 15 years that ive been dealing with him. We come to this place because there Muslim and so they can get business in this weak economy and instead they RIP us off more then anyone around this area would. I crossed checked it with another Spanish mechanic shop here coet 100 there cost 70 they up the price on purpose if you take there price they ripped you off and if you bargain they still charged you regular but still high price then usual mechanics youll never get a bargain here go else where even if you have to pay the extra you still wont be done in 2 to 3 hours.

I have been coming to these guys for the past year by the reference of my father who had been coming here much longer. About 10 years to be exact. Ive never felt this valued as a customer any other auto place than here. The wok they do is always what it is and never had to bring my car back after a job. They dont rip off and always price me for what they work for unlike other people. Was open on a Sunday, helped arrange towing. Made things simple and easy during my breakdown crisis. My driver side control arm snapped while I was parking. Called them around 2 pm on Sunday, by 11 am the next day my Mazda CX-5 was good to go. Excellent service, pricing was more than fair, quality work. Have driven 300 miles since and no issues whatsoever with the car.

Extremely unprofessional. Their estimate went from $1500 to $1350 to $1050 in minutes. They took advantage of my situation to ripped me off. The working stations are a mess, disorganized and filthy even the mechanics are complaining about it. I selected this place based of the reviews but these reviews are fake or bought. I will never step inside this place again.

They do their work well and even help you save some money.

About 500 bucks for 2 sensor replacements I did myself for 100 bucks. Parts were cheap, but I understand labor is tricky.Ladies, check your car with your own ECU before you go to any mechanic. Smh.

For a shop that bangs out cars quick you really cant complain about anything. I see reviews for this place and the price your paying for your service is pretty reasonable especially at the speed you get your car back. I had dropped my car off for an engine replacement on my Escalade and spoke with the owner Ali Junior an he quoted me to what i believe was a reasonable price. He even cut his labor rate because i was a little tight on funds an had it to me the next morning. For the same job i was quoted a few hundred more or about the same but they wanted me to wait 4 days to get it back to me. I honestly cant complain because i realized you get more than what you pay for at this shop. They try to match the price or their well below the pricing of the shops in this area. This is not my first car that ive brung to this place an im not planning on going anywhere. Its kind of funny that people tend to leave negative reviews for something that they feel they were wronged for, even though they’ve been coming for years. I for one have had a disagreement once and thought of leaving a negative review several years back but after speaking with the owner we resolved it. This is my go to place try it for yourself.

My windshield wiper motor died this week and needed a quick replacement. I had the motor in my car, but no one to replace it for me. After a quick business trip leaving out of Newark airport, I had a few hours to kill and went on Google to find someone in the area to replace the motor. After seeing some positive reviews on Google, I called Unique Star and went over. They were able to take me in immediately. They were exceptionally honest with pricing (since I had the part, they just charged a very fair labor rate $75 p/hr) and got the job done quickly. I waited in the dunkin donuts next door while they were working on my car. While not in the nicest parts of town, I would gladly use them again any time. Nice job guys.
