My second time purchasing from Finch. Both experiences were great. The sales reps are easy going and good to work with. They have multiple locations to serve both big and small. They got to have top flight mechanics in the service department to deal with all Deere has to offer. Spacious show room to view products. Looking forward to see how my new walk behind runs. My compact tractor from them with implements has served me well.

As suggested, I submitted a feedback form in the link you provided in your response. I would really appreciate a direct response to the contact information in that form. This is a highly unacceptable situation given the dollar value of the plan you collected from us and I strongly believe it warrants more attention that dismissing us with a sorry we cant help you because we dont do that (your words) but are happy to keep your money. Not acceptable.I am very disappointed with a recent interaction with this company. We have a four year service plan on our mower with Finch. Our mower broke and needs to be replaced. The frame that connects to the back axel broke. We decided not to get a new mower and instead get a lawn service. We called to ask for a refund on the service plan which we had just renewed and only used the one time to learn our mower was basically destroyed. Finch will not refund us. The only response was Finch would transfer the plan to a new mower. When we said we made the decision not get a new mower Finch said we just dont refund. We reviewed the terms of the service plan that do state the transfer but are silent to refunds. The broken mower only lasted 7 seasons cutting a one acre yard that we bought brand new from Finch and have had regularly serviced by Finch since it was purchased. Needless to say, it is disappointing it needs to replaced. However, things happen. But for Finch to not be willing to work with us on the service plan feels like terrible customer service to a long standing customer. Customers - make sure you understand this unwritten policy before you prepay for one of the long term service plans from this company. Finch is extremely inflexible and the only explanation we could get was we dont do that.Disappointing.

Good people focused on the customer... Great advise and input when they worked on my snowblower recently. The key, it was the day prior to the last snow and they were over loaded to begin with, but took care of me anyway!!!!!

I have purchased several products from here, and the guy there Joe always listens and sells me what I need. Prices are good, but the service after the sales is extraordinary. This is my go to place for anything lawn and garden.

Ive been dealing with Finch Services for awhile now. Joe Duckworth is very easy to talk to and has always guided me in whats best for my personal property. I highly recommend him if you have any questions regarding John Deere equipment at the eldersburg Finch. Just good people all around.

I would suggest to look elsewhere and I want to second the review that mentioned lazy diagnostics and poor communication. Dropped my push lawnmower off on Sat 6/29 and was told that somebody would take a look the following week and get back to me. No contact, so when I called on 7/5 the service desk told me that I had the incorrect blade installed and thats why my mower stopped working. The plan was to order the necessary parts and get back to me the following week once it was ready to go. I waited until Wednesday of the next week before calling to check in, and to my surprise, was told that the part did not arrive yet. They assured me that my mower would be ready to go by the weekend. Well, that didnt happen, its now 2 weeks since Ive dropped the mower off and they dont even have the part that they think will resolve the issue. When I suggested to come in and pick up my mower they were adamant that the blade would arrive the following Monday morning and it would be ready to go so I waited again. Called in Monday afternoon to check on things and guess what, still no blade and at this point Id had enough so I went to retrieve my STILL broken lawn mower.I contacted another service, they scheduled me for a week out, and my lawn mower was fixed the same day! It WASNT the blade at all but a spring that had come loose! My only conclusion is that nobody at Finch really looked at my mower and every time I called the service desk they just fed me a line of BS to buy a few more days. If you want to waste 2.5 weeks and not even have a tech look at you equipment then Finch Services is right up your alley.

Finch Services Inc. out of Eldersburg is a very well run location. I purchased my John Deere Mower from here last week. Delivered yesterday, & I am so glad I traded up! Thanks to everyone there and especially the sales member that helped me out, Hal Goldman! Ask for Hal when you go here, he is very informative and knows the products very well. Thanks again for all the help!

Bad customer service. Bought a generator and it took 2 months for them to get us a pretty basic Honda generator. It wasn’t running properly and the diagnostic team took a month to look at it and the kept insisting we were doing something wrong, despite the fact that we have 3 other generators two that are 20 years old. After we figured the problem was a over sensitive oil pressure switch they really gave a a well we don’t care vibe. We’re gonna call Honda and fix it on our own they obviously aren’t that capable.
