Store is well stocked and organized. I appreciate the added sewing notions. I appreciate not having to go all the way to joanns in Westminster or Owings mills when I need a specific color of thread.

I purchased a bunch of yarn and needle work materials. I love Michaels. I can always find what I need for my crafts. The stores are always neat and clean.

Michaels my favorite art store always find good deals and with their rewards program I cant complain. The staff is great very friendly and always have good suggestions.

Im writing this review because I had an exceptional experience with Karen. It was my first time getting a custom piece of artwork framed and she was very kind and patient. She explained everything from the layers, styles of frame, etc. Even though I didnt go with what we initially started with, she worked with my budget and I left satisfied. Thanks, Karen!!

I like the paint. I pick up all of my supplies from Michaels. Theyre basically a giant store for arts and crafts. Staff is courteous and helpful. Them answered all the questions that Ive had getting into this new hobby. Eldersburg location is one of the better ones.

Wonderful employees!Extremely helpful even when the company sells extremely poor quality items.Dont buy styleline poster frames! Not even worth it for free. They fall apart as soon as the shrink wrap is removed and wont stay together long enough to hang posters.Studio Decor Belmont is more expensive but worth it on sale but one get two free. Solid frame that doesnt fall apart.

The workers are always very unhelpful, rude and disrespectful.They like to boss you around like you are their employee rather than a paying customer. I could not believe they even had the audacity to criticize me on the way I look. I never criticized the way they looked, even though there was plenty of material (believe me.) I was speechless, but decided to walk out and not be party to such shoddy business practices. I tried to support a local business but they clearly were not interested in earning my business. From now on, I will be buying my craft supplies from Amazon for a much cheaper price. They can shove their corona infested Chinese items where the sun doesnt shine.

Michaels has a great variety of supplies. If you can use a coupon, its cheaper than Wal Mart.

We like Michaels. For a craft store they have an incredibly complete inventory. If you cant find it, ask. Store personnel are very friendly although sometimes you have to search around to find someone in the aisles. Checkout is pretty well organized. All in all a good place to shop.

Im irritated that the indigo rug is out of stock for every store within 200 miles.

Very well stocked art supplies of all kinds. I had difficulty finding exactly what I needed via looking around, but the staff are knowledgeable enough to help. Deals are bountiful, make sure to check the website for discounts, as cost can add up. They have items ranging in skill and expertise, and several shelves of children oriented toys and fun. If they dont have an item in store, you can always check online, and they can have it shipped to your local store for free. Only issue is that it does take a while to find something, numbered isles with an in-store catalogue would be best.

Im not a fan of Michaels, theyve taken their coupon scam to a whole new level. If you dont use their coupons, youre getting ripped off. They make you use a coupon to get their products at a reasonable price. Avoid this store unless youre sure what a reasonable price for your item is. Otherwise, buy it online.

This Michaels is fairly new. I had a fine experience, found what I needed. Great spot for Christmas decorations and wrappings.

I was there looking for wedding items. I wish they had more to offer for wedding decorations other than 2 aisles basically.

Just stopped in to grab a gift card and browse...very clean store and the staff was very knowledgeable. I was surprised to see they had boogie boards at a craft store! They have a great assortment of crafts.

5 star selection but 2 star customer service. I asked an employee for help and she barely recognized I was there and didnt even look at me and continued her task. Cashier scrolled through Instagram while collecting my payment. However one man in framing was very nice and professional. Just my experience at this store, the selection is great in floral and home decor.

With so many coupons and events and such great stock, since it moved into Eldersburg I found myself here at least 2 or 3 times a month and never walk out empty handed.The staff is friendly and a lot of the classes and events are free, or mostly free. My kids love every class from making slime to decorating wreaths. Its a great place to get birthday presents too.Ordering online and picking up in store is simple too. Its rarely taken more than 2 minutes to complete the process and again, the staff is very nice to work with.Love this store!

If you look on line they will often have 50% off 1 item codes. They also have 20% off they offer in the mail. Those specials make Michaels a good deal. Otherwise everything in there is a bit expensive. They do have some great in store deals, you just need to look. I gave 5 stars because the place has absolutely everything you ever needed. Its clean and staff is friendly.

This store has been open several month now. The learning curve for the cashiers should be finished but everytime I get to the register it takes at least ten minutes to check out.Often the cashier doesnt know what she has already wrung and needs to go back, call a manager to get a key, realize an item is over charging significantly. Additionally multiple times after getting my receipt, I have had to go back in because the item number or total didnt add up correctly. Then I wait even longer to have the receipt adjusted.When in search of a specific item on several occasions I looked for a staff to ask questions. On most occasions I could find no one to help and gave up. On one occasion the lady just told me where to go but didnt bring me there. I searched all over and couldnt find the item, only later to have her as a cashier and she stated she sent me to the wrong aisle.I contacted the company a month ago insisting they need more cashiers on the weekend and have never heard even a reply that they received the inquiry.I now drive the extra 20 minutes to Joanns and still get home faster than I ever did going to this Michaels location.The three stars received in this review were earned for having well stocked craft products.

Better selections of craft supplies.

Went in to buy a wacom pen tablet and it said it was in stock online. Walked in and they had two boxes on the shelf, yet had none in stock. Find it kind of ridiculous that they kept the boxes out on the shelf and advertise that its in stock but dont actually have the item available.

Love this Michaels in particular because the employees are super helpful! Plus they work with your coupons rather than play dumb, like other stores.

Would have given them a higher rating, but they screwed up our framing order. We had three pictures framed and they only got two of them done correctly. We had to leave the third picture there for them to fix.
