I’ve been using Lightyear Moving a veteran owned business for a while now, they are hands down the best moving company you will find in El Paso; they were on time, fast, professional, very affordable and careful with all of my furniture and new home. The door needed to be taken off it’s hinges in order to not scratch anything and they took it off and put it back on no problem. I’ve been using them for a while now and would recommend them to anyone thinking of using them.

I was searching for a moving company that could help me move that was within my budget and timeframe. The immense stress and anxiety that comes with moving plus adding a pandemic to the table it’s an understatement of how I was feeling by moving in this arduous times. Overall experience with Lightyear was excellent. They work as a team and helped my family move locally. When we were searching for movers, we called several. We sold our home and moved into a rental house while we were building and just closed and were able to move into our new home. Lightyear moved us both times. I would absolutely hire them again! I was a little nervous hiring a company to move me, but I was very happy with the choice I made in hiring this company. They were very professional. I definitely made them work hard that day and it was dont quickly despite the little setback from the apartment complex.

Would give less than a zero if it was possible. Terrible, unreliable, and unprofessional company. First agreed to do a simple move. Then call to postpone it the night before, by 5 hours. While I was unhappy, I still tried to be understanding and agreed to the new time they wanted. Then they didnt show up at all! Avoided answering calls as well. I was, thankfully, able to find another mover willing to help me move. If not I would have been in a ton of trouble. They essentially wont care about you as a customer if they have other higher paying moving jobs lined up (they mentioned helping a tv station as their excuse for the initial delay). Be very careful when you hire such a company.Edit: Just a response to the PR nonsense written below. Being human doesnt mean you cannot let one of your customers, that you gave your word to, at least know that you cannot make it. Being human does not mean you can just forget and ignore jobs you have undertaken. Yes, you prioritized another move. At least have the decency to let the person know that you wont be able to make it. All these pretty words does not negate the fact that you put a customer in trouble and didnt even have the decency to respond to the calls/texts/voice mail I left. Dont sugarcoat your unprofessional behavior. You said your assets were tied up and that you can still come and do the job by 2:00 pm and then just didnt show up without any notification. Own up to your mistake at least, but Im expecting too much it seems.

My husband and I thought we could move a refrigerator on our own, but decided to hire Lightyear...best decision ever!! Great, punctual, professional service...couldnt ask for more. We were so happy with all their extra effort to get the fridge thru the front door which wouldve been quite the task for us, but not for Lighyear. Thank you for all your hard work and great attitude!!
