Most of the staff is great. A few, outstanding and a few well, they need to new job. This is my go to spot. Most of then product are good a few, total junk so be careful. In fact the only products Ive ever had issues with have been plumbing related. Everything else was fine. Having said that, its Aces fault not this local store. Its small but they never let me down and always had what I needed.

Walked into the store to buy a rubber mallet and asked an older man who was near the front if he could unlock it for me. He didn’t want too so he called another person to do it. All of the employees saw me trying to get an employee to help and they just hid and didn’t want to help at all. They seemed all rude and not wanting to help anyone unless you corner them. If you see someone needing help then help them and not just look away when they are trying to get something.

I went looking for an item to help me water my plants outside. Its called a Bubbler, but now its called Smooth Soaker. Still the same style. They have everything you need for your home and outside. Great service, all items neatly organized.

The manager there is the best will go out of his way Everytime and isnt afraid to look up info to ensure you leave knowing you got the info u needed would buy here anyway over Lowes and home Depot .plus its local owned couldnt grow weeds till I got info here

I love this store! At other big box hardware stores you have to run around looking for assistance. At Ace, they come to you as soon as you enter. You get personalized service and attention. Also, this store has much of everything you need for common house hardware needs.

Always great service cause theres always someone there to help you. I usually choose a lady cause Im more comfortable asking them questions, with things I no nothing about.

Its really the only FULL Ace in this town. If you need any special screw or bolt dont bother with the neighboring other two. Its a complete store, another one that comes out in Google is a couple aisles inside a grocery store.

All the other stores did not have what I was looking for a wheelbarrow at a low affordable price but it was well worth the drive to Central from hueco tanks mr. Martinez took very good care of us any head the wheelbarrow ready for us when we arrived just before 6 plenty of parking military discount sometimes its very nice to go to the smaller places around El Paso instead of the big guys like Home Depot these guys still have hard to find stuff around hit the big guys dont carry. These guys have the old-fashioned good service still around.

Ace Hardware is the closest hardware store to my residence. On numerous occasions I’ve had to fix a broken part on my irrigation system that requires immediate attention. So, I have gone to Ace to purchase some items even against my better judgment due to the dismal service. To start off, most of the time, the store has very limited merchandise and the store associates are not trained to provide quality services. Or, they simply don’t care about the customers needs. This is one of the reasons that I try to find the items by myself, unless I can’t find it. I have noticed that most of the employees lack the proper skills, knowledge or abilities. Most of the employees are apathetic and disinterested in taking a moment to answer a simple question. It has been my past experience that it is bothersome for the sales person to verbalize anything besides pointing to an aisle because they are too busy chatting with each other. Therefore, I end up looking for the item by myself. In fact, on numerous occasions, I have specifically asked for a particular item, and I have ended up buying something I didn’t need. So, I end up keeping the item because I don’t want to deal with negative attitudes. It’s sad that your TV commercials show a totally different picture of your store, and it doesn’t apply to your store. I give you a zero rating. I guess I will have to go to Lowe’s or Home Depot from now on, even if the location is far from my residence.

Went in today to have house keys made and noticed they also make/program fobs. Ubaldo was so helpful, friendly and funny as he was filling me and my mom in on the fob process; since I didn’t have it with me at the time. I returned 20 minutes later with my fob and he remembered me as I was standing in line. The process was quick and true to Ubaldo’s explanation. The cashier was as also friendly during both checkouts.

Was very impressed with the service I got on 04/17/21 from Brian at the N Yarborough store. I had problems with my Ford key fob not working. Brian was very patient and helpful in getting me a new key fab cover and saving me slot of money. I believe someone with less patience would have given up. But Brian kept at it until he got my new fab working . Thank you very much.

It had been years since i visited and shopped at at an Ace Hardware store and was i pleasently surprised. They have a very good stocked store with even hard to find items. They make keys and have a wide array of paint and other home improvement items. All these plus excellent customer service and not to mentioned great prices. I will definitely be coming back for future needs. Thank you Ace Hardware store.

This place is like 7/11 convenience store where normally you would buy and pay $2 for a paint brush at Lowes or Home Depot. Here you pay $3.25 because its Convenient

This place is awesome for any projects for your house or yard. The customer service I always receive is incomparable to any other hardware store. The staff is extremely knowledgeable on all of their products and they explain the methodologies for projects if you explain what you need. I highly recommend this place for your next project.

Rusty at Ace really went out of his way to help me with a thermostat that was still under the 90 day warranty from the manufacturer yet past the 30 days return policy offered by ACE. So he made our day.

One would do well to visit another ACE Hardware. This particular one has no interest in follow up for taking care of its customers. When purchasing the product, the manager stated, We take good care of our customers. Yet, when the time came to address a defect, the same manager essentially said, Not my problem - well charge you for that. Bottom line: customer care and value is not at the core of Ace Hardware of El Paso; the bottom line and profits drive their decisions.

Really disappointed. Worst experience Ive had at an ace hardware. Went into the store for a deal they had on roundup. Buy a large one and get the refill free. They were out of refills so I just for the refund put back onto my card. They called me back after leaving and the nice lady told me her manager said I have to come back so they can take the money back off of my card and then cancel the order online. I did what they asked but thats one of the biggest pain in the *$% things Ive had to deal with in retail. They didnt want to help me figure something else out or anything. I understand when there is outside and warehouse outs but help the customer!!!! The manager was nice and patient and got my order cancelled but I probably wont go to ace again for a long time.

On my first visit to Ace Hardware store, an employee there decided to be the facemask police and told me that I had to cover my nose, not just my mouth only ... to which he replied that if I didnt cover my nose, then I would be asked to leave the store. As of today, this was last visit to Ace Hardware Store. From this point forth, they will get a very negative recommendation from me ... and it is because my facemask only covered my mouth and not my nose.

The business is very clean, despite the fact that construction is taking place in the parking lot. The employees are helpful and made themselves available to assist me.The down side was that the merchandise is limited and the products that did carry were far more expensive than other retailers.

This ACE store is the best option, for me, for all my hardware items. Dont have to travel far to get to the store and its easy to find items, since the store is compact and not like a huge big box store. I like that I can get in, find what I need, not have to walk forever, and then get out. Plus the staff are very helpful and the product selection, and prices, are good. ACE is truly a neighborhood friendly store.

Had a bad experience with the cashier in the front today...called in advance to have a curbside pick up like the email instructions told me and the lady that answered didnt know what I was talking about...drove up and didnt see any curbside area so I figured Id go inside to make things less complicated...spoke to the lady at the counter with my invoice ready and order number and she wasnt interested in getting any of that but wanted to know my name and the product name (which she wouldnt need if she just took my order number). Asked if I could speak to the person she was speaking to to maybe make things easier for her and she gave me an even more dumbfounded expression....too early to start things on a bad foot like that it wasnt even that busy...
