Great small place bought some ribeyes and t-bones. We will see how they turn out.Edit: ribeye was great but T-bone was tough. I think it was because it was slightly frozen when we bought it. We left them at room temperature for around 40 minutes and it was still tough. Also, noticed that it wasnt cut evenly, one part thin and the other part thick.

Valley super market is usually my go to for years for burritos and today i had the worst experience ever. I went in to order about 11 burritos and as ANA took my order and was making them i ordered one extra not thinking it would be a issue since she wasnt done with the other ones yet, well when i asked for that one extra she rolled her eyes threw down her utensils and told me that I could now wait since i want to be ordering in portions yelling at me in Spanish. Sadly and most embarrassing part is that there was about 5/6 customers behind me that witnessed the whole thing. As a business owner i would hope you all took into consideration that people like ANA should not be working customer service if they dont have proper people skills, i like for my customers to keep coming back and with employees like her i will definitely not be returning here.

I ordered a chicken salad and a Chile Colorado burrito, the burrito was well served but the salad was more onion, cucumber, some corn and cilantro the chicken was missing in this salad.

Glad to have a place so close with such delicious meat choices.Dont pass up the salsa toreada!

I really enjoy going there once in awhile for an apple 🍎 fritter. Theyre the best I have had in a long time. I thought about getting something from the hot 🔥 food selections, but they didnt look very appetizing. None of it looked fresh. It was late in the day, though.

ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!, is very common they show you a price in the butchery, and when they see you busy looking for something else they change the price in the electronic scale from 8.99 to 10.99 or 12.99 is not too much but happened to me 7 times already when I am not looking at the small LCD screen in the scale (so I started to believe is not an innocent mistake) I do not like to complain and I never mind about prices but this may piss others.in Other Hand is my favorite place to buy, Great Service, Awesome food, Good Price, People is very kind and friendly (except for one woman that I believe is the owner because her attitude, but she is polite anyway)Very Fresh beef, the best beef in town, for be better than Estrella and better price, the store is always clean, they have pan dulce, quality is good, if you are in a hurry they have very good ready to eat Mexican food, tortillas, asadero cheese, really big Avocado, Tamales, Burritos, Beef Soup and more, Is a really good place to buy just keep in mind my first advice.

Some of the food is good and you can conveniently find mexican brands. Their burritos have a better price than other places around the area. What i definitely do not recommend is the bakery the bread is mostly a miss and a couple of days ago it was the third time Ive dealt with the lady with a short braid that seems like she does not want to work there. The first time she stood there waiting for me to point to every piece of bread I was buying before she put it in the bag, but she did not ask me to do that she just kept saying, what else over and over. If that is her method fine but tell me that that is your method because Ive been to bakeries all my life in Mexico and here and never encountered that lol This last time like a previous time she will not greet you and rolls her eyes weather you say hello and thank you......you get attitude.

I only give 1 star because there is no way to give out none. Hmm let me see where do i start!. The food itself is not bad, the prices are good too. The only problem there is the staff. I stop by there to eat often. Given i work in construction, that means am dirty most of my work day. When me and my crew get to order food from the ladies servicing that section. They always give out rude answers, ignore us, and seem too frustrated taking food orders. I will never stop there to eat again. I think the manager should do something about this. Its too sad to see the ladies working there treating customers based on their sole apparence. Being dirty or dusty doesnt mean one is broke. It means you are working hard. Please be advised of the rude behavior from workers there whenever you go eat. Thanks you 😬

Good place, great convenience meat market but please just don’t wrap the donuts. A box would be ideal.

Use to like to shop there, not anymore. Long line at the prepared food section and no adequate staffing. After 20 minutes I left the store without purchasing what I came in for and I was not the only one leaving .Cashier also not caring.

Food is authentic Mexican food and the service is phenomenal. Guy at the register greets and conversares with everyone is a very welcoming manner. They were low on avocados and none were ripe. My father asked the cashier and brought over 2 boxes and let my father choose to his best liking. Great food and great service.

Just went to order a burrito and Anna (one of the cooks) yelled at the lady in front of me because she added a burrito to her order while Anna was in the process of making the order. In my opinion, that was really disrespectful and I felt bad for the lady in front of me. There was no reason for Anna to treat her customers like that. From now on, I will take my business elsewhere.

Great customer service, they even helped me bring out a pot of menudo to my car so I wouldnt struggle. I tried to give the gentlemen a tip but he didnt let me, and the his is authentic Mexican food with great taste.

Good food! The bolillos and delicious pan dulce are the reason I delayed my trip back to San Antonio till they opened at 8am. The staff are very helpful and attentive to their customers so much so that I almost left without paying. I’ll see them again in a few weeks when I return for more pan dulce.

Went in for breakfast. Sat down to eat and was approached by the manager who accuses me o stealing a donut! Lol. I said the gentleman who made my menudo said I could pay for the donut at his register, along with my breakfast and walk over and get it. So I did that, manager comes over, checks the receipt, I guess it’s not on there (cashiers mistake) I give him my card. He brings it back. Doesn’t appologize for the mistake/embarrassing situation he caused. I eat my food and walk over to the other manager and ask him to give this donut to the manager who approached me. A gift, that I paid for, after he accused me of stealing it. Breakfast was good though. Enjoy the doughnut sir!!!

As always, the kitchen employees, especially the women, and today was a güera, fat man with glasses I think her name is Haylin, they commit horrors in your order and they ruin the moment of enjoying what you did not order. She put what she wanted, just because of her stupidity and they ruin the moment for you, the change in business hours that from one day to the next closes 2 hours earlier than the usual schedule is annoying. Without notice, depending on the day, they still close 5 to 10 minutes earlier still, the managers go from bad to worse 👎👎👎
