The ladies in the prepared food area are so sweet. They really make the food with love. The guys in the meat section are okay. It can be a hit or miss sometimes with them. The employees who are truly unprofessional are the cashiers. They make coming to this location a pain. Just because of them I am leaving a negative review.

I would drive from the valley to George Deiter to get meat there but after today I dont think ill be going back...havent seen arrachera steak in months and as of today the California chicken best are small as hell and not even butter flied cut, just a big peice of chicken. Quality has gone WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY DOWN. Back to buying my grilling Meats at Vista market.

The meat market was great just make sure u tell them if what ur getting is for grilling or for cooking.

Texas preparada had less meat. California was nothing but bone. The meat quality is not the same any longer.

Small store but has meats delicious burritos fresh produce

Yesterday I went in for some burritos for the first time and the staff was quite rude except for one woman who made my burritos. In the kitchen and store there were young men (employees) walking around with their masks practically off and it grossed me out. No one working in the store told them to put on their masks properly. If I was rating the food Id give it 5 stars because the burritos were delicious and fat but I was really disappointed that the employees were so rude and uninviting. I dont believe Ill be going back.

Very disappointed. This place used to be awesome. Used to have great prices, everything was labeled and friendly staff. USED TO. Nothing is labeled, and now I know why. The prices have SKYROCKETED!!!! And the staff acted like I was bothering them by asking for something. I actually drove out of my way from the other aide of town passing up lots of other meat markets to revisit this one. I haven’t been here in a long time. It was my last. I didn’t give it one star because it is a clean store and had huge avocados.

Nothing to say except they are the best! Skip the grocery store. We buy all our meat here. It’s priced better and the quality is much better than the big store. They greet us like family! 5 Stars for sure

The Arrachera is bomb, pre seasoned and super tender, both flavors. Also, the Barbacoa is bomb!!!!!!! Try out their tostadas too, they also have some grilling onions ready for the grill covered in butter, so good.

WAY OVER PRICED!!! aLmost 4 dollars for one avocado. for get about the meat, It’s better to go to vista market, the meat is just as good and your going to pay SO MUCH LESS and get so much more. Done with this overpriced place gouging it’s customers.

First time trying their menudo..... extremely disappointed. Couldn’t even finish Bc of how grossed out I was. It was so gross. Bought four large cups, my family couldn’t even finish 1 cup, too gross. Worst menudo I’ve ever had. Never going back.

The meats good but over priced. Same meat at El super for 1/2 the price. The 7 bone steak is $5.99 marinated per pound, the same meat is $2.99 at El Super and taste delicious. They even sell you the marinates. Im sold. No more Estrella.
