Went to this location to pick up some denim material. They didnt have the best selection. But the store overall was nice and organized. The staff was very nice.

So the biggest problem youll have in these stores are the sales. I went in for a canvas and there were sales on home organization baskets and vases (70% off). I put the vase back, because I dont have anywhere to put it, but my $50 basket was 40% off. The sticker wouldnt scan so she just asked me, if I remembered the discount... no waiting on someone to find the basket area, then looking for the exact basket drill you get at most stores. Theyre super friendly, and even offer a military discount (yes on top of your already discounted item). If youre a crafty person, but are concerned about the prices, theyre comparable to Walmart or even a smaller scale Michaels. Ive literally been there only 5 times, and every time there was a sale on items. The basket is about 15x15x13; has a cloth lining and handles; and is labeled as Organizing Essentials. I believe its painted or dyed wood, like wicker, but Im not that basket savvy, so il just say, its definitely not plastic and the wide weaving adds a sense of elegance. I put it on the couch and dropped a throw in it just for aesthetics for the review, but as of now I love it. Hope this review helps. Happy decorating.

This is a decent Joanns location in El Paso. So many are run down and dirty; often lacking stock and shelves picked over whatever is left. This location is a nice surprise. While the store is dated and needs a face lift, there was plenty of current stock and few out of stocks of popular items. I perused fabric and found all of the upcoming Fall fabrics were already in stock. Found what I needed and there was no wait at the cutting table. Paper crafts and stamps were also nicely stocked and I was pleased to find many items my local stores in Albuquerque do not carry. Staff were pleasant and waits for a cashier was not long. Overall good experience. Ill probably shop this location the next time I visit El Paso.

I love going there to see all the beautiful decor they put out. Plus dog friendly and love going with my dog

I absolutely adore it here! I’m very much into sewing and recently took a sewing 101 class here (which I 5/5 recommend too), and even growing up this is where my mom would get sewing supplies too. There is such a large, beautiful collection of fabrics that you would never see at Micheal’s or Hobby Lobby. I recently took my roommate here too, him being an artist, and I think he had a great experience as well. He got a bulk set of small canvases (he likes painting on smaller canvases) for a really good price, some feathers for a mask he’s working on, plus an extended Christmas list which is what these photos are.There are definitely some pricey parts of Joann’s don’t get me wrong, but there’s always good deals and coupons for items that might be on the pricey side, as well as alternatives for the pricier items. I highly recommend using the “check your price” scanner in the store if you’re unsure of the price of something.

There are items in the store that are inexpensive at reduce price. Great service with a smile very polite & courteous.

I love Joanns. The manager that worked with me today was even kind enough to give me a discount on my purchase. Above and beyond. Most of the associates were knowledgeable regarding fabric locations, notions and sewing accessories. A big change since the last time I was there.

Had to get some yarn for my mom I think the place is a bit high compared to Michaels

DONT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEYThis company has the absolute worse customer service that I have ever had to deal with. First, My husband ordered me a birthday gift, then they sent me the wrong item. Then they will not send you the correct item instead you have to return the item and wait for a refund, but even worse is that you have to wait 2 to 3 days just to get a return shipping label. My husband called customer service and was on the phone for 36 minutes, and they are incompetent as well.DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM. its an absolute waste of time, money, and energy. Shop Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Walmart, Target... even the local trashcan is better than shopping this company. My birthday gift was ruined. Its your money, so if you dont mind letting a company sit on your money while you have nothing to show for it then do it. If you work hard for your money dont ever ever give them yours. This is why big retail closes in America, because they have forgotten that customers should come first.I am so angry and frustrated that they have my money and ruined my wifes birthday, and all I have to show for it is a product I didnt order and a disappointed wife. Keep in mind, they dont sell anything that you cant buy somewhere else. I dont write reviews, but today this company pushed one consumer too far. I want my return shipping label, and my money back.THANK AGAIN FOR RUINING MY WIFES BIRTHDAY!!!

Great service at the material section, I believe the Ladys name was Letty, she was very helpful & courteous.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This store would not price match a listed, non-coupon, in-store price from Walmart. The manager kept us waiting 10 minutes before coming to speak with us. He initially claimed he was in a Meeting at 4 pm on a Friday, which I highly doubt, as the rest of Texas is an hour ahead of El Paso and I know very few business that hold meetings at 5 pm on Fridays. He tried to have his poor cashier tell us they would not honor the price. When we asked to speak to him again, he finally came to the front of the store for all of 30 seconds to tell us that he had an email stating this price was a scam. I notified him that I bought the item at Walmart at that price, but he would not even look at my receipt or discuss it with me. This store us fraudulent in its advertising that it price matches, to include Walmart.com, but then does not do it. Hobby Lobby just up the road did price match. I would give them your business instead.

The staff there is very friendly and helpful . I was impressed that it was close to closing time and they took their time to help us.

If you know what youre looking for, this place is great: usually well supplied and good sales. But most of the employees cant answer questions about the products, including fabric types, sewing machines and reading patterns.

As every husband has come to fear: But look how much I saved! . My wife loves Joann Fabrics, it seems for crafts, ideas, and just to browse. They are conveniently located on the other side of town with plenty of parking. They are dealing with the whole Covid thing just like everyone else, masks required and shopping carts pre sanitized.

I love Joanns. Ive had one bad experience here where they did not want to take one of my coupons. But for the most part its where I get all my fabric and some paint too.

Went to Joann fabric and witnessed horrible customer service by Maria instead of assisting customers at the fabric cutting counter decided to talk bad about another customer in Spanish thinking others around dont understand but some of us do while the manager sat there letting it happen this is not el paso strong we need to unite not divide in this world

The manager here is professional and nice; however, the attitude of his workers is just near hostile! They offer no help..they are bothered.to help and make comments about you. Near like harassment where I totally prefer the Las Cruces store anyday. I avoid the El Paso store as it feels like a sick environment ....

Thus location is better than other cities Ive been to. The cut line is never that long (have waited 45+minutes at other locations). Only reason not 5 star is when there is a sale it seems like the computer only recognizes about 80% of the time and only a couple employees know how to fix it or care to.

I went into Joanns literally 10 minutes before it closed to pick up some faux fur for some beanies that I planned on making. The first young lady I saw and asked where to look for it was very helpful, even though she was busy trying to clean up. The clerk in the fabric section, Corina, was super kind...even the customers she was helping were kind to offer to help me pull down the multiple bolts of colored fur I wanted. She answered all my questions and was in no hurry even though they had officially closed by the time she cut all the material I wanted. The cashier up front gave me suggestions as she rang me up. All in all, I love the store and the people within it are amazing. I wish I could give more than 5 stars to them!!

You can loose yourself in this store. We walked in knowing what we wanted n came out with materials to create new things. We really enjoyed the pictures they have posted around the store, they give u ideas that are easy for decorating, practical, n cheap to recreate. They also have classes for certain crafts done their at the store. Love this place n even when u pay the clerks help u with any available coupons that will help u save money. Super place.

Its a wait to get the fabric cut. The cart system is funny(for sanitizing). Wish they had more options for baby prints but I found ok options. Wish COVID would go away and I wish there was MORE THAN 1 location for EP.

I love this place, always find what Im looking for, however, it sometimes requires some actual looking, because the sections are not planned out quite well. Great selection of fabrics, the only place in town that gives you options. Prices could be a little lower.

I knew this Joann store would exceed my expectations. Many fabrics to chose from. I visited this store everyday for a week while visiting El Paso, what a selection. Not only with fabric but other gifts and trinkets.The store manager is very kind and helpful, I wish I would have gotten his name. If only Ft. Worth and Arlington Tx would learn from this manager on how to treat their customers. I give you 10 plus stars sir. Thank you for your kindness.

They have great coupons!! The staff is friendly and ready to help. They offer all sorts of craft classes and am most pleases with this store.On another note, I would like to commend the manager and staff for standing their ground to enforce the use of PPEs (Personal Protection Equipment) to keep us safe.

My wife ordered items to be delivered. One of the items was not on stock they went ahead and placed the order with the rest of the items and charged my card twice. Once with the original order and one with the new order. Been trying to contact them but not one response. Ill keep updating
