Ive always gone to dealerships to get my car worked on, but just went to Borderland Euro today and couldnt believe what a great place this is. Ive never met nicer people at an auto repair shop in my whole life. Roy took the time to explain everything and he showed me what was going on, since I had a check engine light on. Its really hard to find good people in this business, and the guys here are the best. They had some beautiful cars in the shop too, makes me want to upgrade! Car runs perfectly now! This a family own business and I highly recommend this shop, world class service!!! Thanks again for everything!!

I was traveling for work when my BMW (16 550I) broke down at an intersection. One of my peers at work  referred me to Borderland Euro.  To say the least I wish I lived closer or had this shop located locally for me.  They went above and beyond to expedite the repair and authorization through my warranty company.Both Roy and Sean are very knowledgeable and professional.  Its very obvious they pride them selves with delivering terrific customer service and having a great work ethic.I could go on and on about this experience, to say the least I will try to use them any time I can for my future repairs.  I may live 4 hours away but as long as I can limp my car to them it will be worth it.Do your self a favor and send your European vehicles here. Do not go through the dealerships as you will pay more or the same for lesser quality in work performed.

I could not be more pleased with the service and professionalism I received. Absolutely superb customer service and relations from start to finish. I highly recommend Borderland Euro Auto Repair. All other shops should strive to provide the same level of vehicle and customer service that Borderland Euro provides. Simply the best experience that Ive ever had with an auto shop. Roy was on point with keeping me informed regarding my vehicle repair, the cost, and the timeline for completion. In addition to the already excellent service, I received an oil change and brake flush at no additional cost. To top it all off I noticed a full tank of gasoline in my vehicle (it had about 50 miles when I brought it in) when I was driving home form the shop. Roy also took a personal interest in who I am and what I do for a living, very personable and friendly. They didnt have to provide these additional services for free but they did anyways, if I ever have another issue with my vehicle I wont be looking for another auto shop. I guarantee you wont find better service anywhere in the state or possibly the country. Borderland Euro Auto Repair needs to be the auto shop standard for the rest of the country.

Service here is second to none!!! I rarely post reviews but this time around I had to post in order to highlight the awesome job that the guys do here! I bought a Mini Cooper (pre-owned) and the very second day the engine light came on and it started leaking oil. I drove into the shop and even though they were slammed with work Roy somehow squeezed me in and took care of me. After further inspection they they told me several items that needed repair and they went ahead and order all the parts and had my car ready to go in less than a week! Roy and his Son are exceptional and two of the most professional and knowledgeable mechanics Ive ever worked with. Muchas gracias Roy!

Great place. My car broke on a way home and fortunately I came to this guys. They fixed a problem, replaced sparks, plugs and injector and my car was able to run again. 9 hours long drive at 90-110mph after the service and no issues.

I loved Borderland Euro Auto repair! I have difficulty trusting anyone with my car because of how many times I have been let down by fixing it at the BMW. Since I got to Borderland Auto, I was treated really great by Roy and his son. They did everything to explain what was wrong with my car until I could understand it, showing me what was going to be fixed. They gave me the best price available with BMW parts. They also showed me their work afterward. To say I am happy with it is the least I can say. They were very professional and friendly. I would not recommend this place if you have an Audi, they might specialize in “European cars” but definitely not Audis. They misdiagnosed the problem with my Audi, I had to go back multiple time to get it fix...long story short I took it to another mechanic who had to fix my car and was not related to the issue these guys were identifying, in other words they were barking at the wrong tree showing that they are not experience enough on Audi.

Horrible professionalism, my mother and I read the reviews online and were looking forward to meet these so called kind people and were completely disappointed with the way they treated my mom. My mom is a kind and patient person so she dealt with it well but I was ready to put a complain. We dont feel like ever coming back, and if anyone asks us about this place well tell them truth about the owner.

Gauge Gauge and Gauge!1,000. For a brake job. Then 400. More than a previous quote! Then i noticed my drivers seat is torn ! It was in excellent condition before! I know the mentality there and I am sure they will deny damaging the seat. I even wonder if it wasnt switched out! Definitely NOT my comfy drivers seat,! They switched it out! Do NaoT Trust these people!

I needed an oil change for my Audi and gave Roy a call. He scheduled me for the next day and there was no waiting. When my car was on the lift, the technician called me out and showed me where the AUDI DEALERSHIP had failed to replace under tray bolts from THEIR previous oil change. He replaced the missing bolts for no charge. While I was waiting I spent the time talking to the owner about cars, fishing, lifes lessons. Turns out we had a lot in common and knew many of the same people. Roy even gave me the name of another local shop to get my alignment and brake work done in the future. The technician also returned my extra oil in case I needed to top off in the future. I give Borderland Euro my highest rating. Hope to see Roy at the lake soon!

TODAY I Called BORDERLAND EURO to see if they could replace a battery for my 328i. They recommended to buy the battery from BMW since they are smart batteries and I did. I showed up to the shop and they were busy but they took my car in right away. I was in and out in less than 40 min. Of course they reprogrammed my car and I saved $200Dealership was charging me approximately $580.

Not only is this the best BMW mechanic Ive ever come across BUT I dare say this may be the best mechanics in general that Ive come across in my lifetime. I had a bad experience buying a used BMW at a local car lot. The water pump, radiator and thermostat went bad not to mention all the coolant poured out and the vehicle left me stranded. I called Roy at Borderland Euro and took the car to him and he explained that the vehicle had cheap after market parts and that more than likely that why it failed. I wasnt a happy camper but heres the thing. Roy encouraged me that the vehicle was fine and that he could fix the problem but would do so with original, BMW specifications parts and would work with me on the cost. Well he did that and more and even threw in a free oil change. Roy sent me photos of the work being done and even showed me the old cheap parts he removed and how damaged they were. Roy and the staff at Borderland Euro take pride in there work and BMWs are their specialty. I highly recommend them.

Unfortunately my water pump housing decided to crack during Thanksgiving break, with all my family in town the for week. It wasnt a job I felt like undertaking, due to the circumstances. I did some research and decided to take my Mini here based on all the positive reviews I saw.To start, Sean was courteous, honest, and up front with everything. The work was completed in a timely matter, even with the holiday. He even came in early on a day theyre normally closed, so I could pick up my car! This is a top notch shop, with great people, and they have now found a customer for life. Cant recommend this place enough.

Ive been coming here for about a year maybe more now. They always have everything ready on time. The work and service is excellent and very professional. These guys are the best! They took care of me better than any dealership or mechanic ever has.I came in to find out why my high beams werent working. They explained that whoever worked on it last, put in a bad relay. They switched it out for me and installed a new battery too, which I have needed for a while. Im coming here whenever I need work done.

Got my 325i towed in from a generic mechanic off Dyer who caused more issues than it initially had. Roy and Sean took absolute wonderful care of my car. They got it up and running and knew exactly what the issue was. The techs are extremely knowledgeable having formally worked for BMW of El Paso and will keep you informed through out the entire process. This is the only place I will be taking my BMW in the future and I highly recommend if you need work done on your BMW you do the same. Great customer service and experience overall.

Very professional auto shop, Roy and his son know exactly what they’re doing when it comes to BMW! my girlfriend bought a used bmw which initially we thought was in good condition later to find out it needed some work, Roy and his son were very helpful when it came to fixing the car, they use actual bmw parts with warranty and not aftermarket or cheap replacements, they actually keep you up to date with your car by sending you pictures of what they’re doing, which can’t be said about many auto shops, great prices as well! if you have a bmw and needs work bring it to borderland euro, you won’t be disappointed!

Was coming in to get my cars regular maintenance when all of a sudden my car broke down on the way there. So I called the shop to tell them I was gonna get it towed there and before my car even got to the shop they knew what the problem was and how to fix it. Not only that but they were nice enough to stay after their regular business hours to get me back on the road. Although they were busy the father and son took yhe time to show me the faults and gave me an excellent price on the repair. I will definetly be coming back to get further service on my vehicle. Really friendly and professional environment, I strongly recommend them for all your BMW needs.

Highly recommend this place! Excellent costumer service and very experienced staff. Borderland euro saved me a lot of money replacing my cracked valve cover, compared to having it replaced by BMW. This is a top notched shop. I was in town for work and needed some work done on my Mini Cooper S. They got me in and back on the road quickly even when I dropped some upgrade parts off as an extra install. Great service and very fare prices. This is about the third time I’ve come to Borderland and every experience has been great. Roy and Sean have been extremely professional and knowledgeable. Great work at a reasonable price. I had brought my vehicle over because my car was making a screeching noise. Once coming into the shop, no more than 5 minutes they attended me and I told them the problem with my vehicle. Right away they walked me to their office and started on my vehicle. The office was cool and nice were they have you wait and they offer you something to drink too, very attentive to their customers. Not even more than 15 minutes, they came and told me what was wrong with my vehicle. Overall experience, was amazing and I will be coming here again. I recommend you to come here with your vehicle, even if its not a BMW, they will work on it too.

Awesome, quick and affordable service! I changed my radiator, oil, and had an engine gasket changed with them. The owner really knows his business, all parts are original but still affordable. BMW borderland charged me a third of what the stealership would of charged me with the same parts! Nice to see a local business that does things right.

I was in from out town for a couple of days on business and my a.c. compressor blew out here in El Paso. I was scrambling to find a reliable and competent shop that to get my 2012 BMW in service asap. Sean and his staff took care of my problem immediately. I dropped the car off in the am and got it around noon. Best BMW Auto Mechanic in the SW. This place is by far the best place to get your bimmer serviced! Father and son shop who are both very knowledgeable with BMW! I live in Albq and will drive down to EP just to have these guys do the work on my car. These guys are not a dealer alternative because I wouldn’t think of going to the dealer before borderland euro sure the money is one reason but their knowledge of BMW is second to none. I am very picky when it comes to finding someone to work on my vehicles and I am beyond impressed with their service. I went in on a Saturday and they were nice enough to fix my car even though I went in about an hour before closing, they stayed late to help me out but they did it because they are all about delivering top notch customer service and I appreciate it! thank you guys!! I contemplated writing this well-deserved negative review, but the poor customer service I received did not sit well with me.I needed a battery replaced that required a jump from me to get my car there. I txt the owner and called him as well. He replied, yes sir, bring it by. When I arrived, the service advisor welcomed me in and gave me the details of the job including the price. I expressed my discontent with his pricing when he began to explain the justification for the price. I replied that that was close to the dealers price. He replied, you can go and get the battery from BMW yourself and bring it in yourself adding, we are not charging you for the delivery of the battery. He continued to say, heck, you have an Autozone battery in there right now, and I replied, well it did last 5 years. He replied, well then, go and get an Autozone battery. He said to me that he didnt want to argue with me. I said to him, fine then, put the battery in and Ill pay it; I need the battery. He continued to say, you can go to BMW and pay their price and check their waiting times. I looked at him and again said, you said you didnt want to argue with me, and you are continuing to argue; go ahead and install the battery and I will pay for it. He continued and said, this is the alternative choice you have to the dealership. I replied again, you said you didnt want to argue and yet, you continue to argue; just install the battery and I will pay. He replied, well, let me see if my son wants to even do the job. The son who is the technician came and listened to both sides of the altercation I had with his Dad, the service advisor. The son simultaneously looked at both his dad and I. His son said, look, I have decided that I am not going to do this job for you. I replied, my battery is dead, I need a battery and I have agreed to pay for it. He replied, well, I own the shop and I retain the right to refuse service, and I am refusing. Naturally, I told him I needed a jump. He then agreed to jump my battery, which he did. While jumping my battery outside, his dad comes back out, places his hand on my car, lights up a cigarette and continues to argue. I told him look, you and I are done, this is no longer your business. He said, yes it is. Now the stupid-ridiculous part was this. The dad tells me, I am from L.A. too! I replied, too? He replied, also. I asked now what the hell is that supposed to mean? He replied, well, you are going to threaten me with a review, I will defend myself. I am still perplexed about that whole L.A. comment.I made an appointment with another shop for the same job, but in the morning, I made a last minute attempt to call BMW of El Paso and decided to take there instead. The price this business gave me was $238 plus $100 installation fee equalling $338 not including the tax. Doing the math at 8.25% tax, it would have came out to an estimated $365. BMW OF El Paso BEAT THEIR PRICE. In addition, I didnt have to deal with the horrible customer service by the dad only to later have it exacerbated by the actual technician. And, BMW of El Paso ended with washing my car. I must admit, BMW of El Paso hasnt always been up to par in terms of their customer service, but after years of a break, and after this experience at BMW of El Paso, BMW, at least in my book have come a very long way.How would I have handled it had I been in their shoes? I would have said to the rude customer, sir, I will replace your battery like I initially committed myself to doing, however, at the conclusion of this transaction, please do not ever bring your car to me again.I found it appalling that a business would allow a customer to leave their business with a dead battery in spite of jumping the battery, but to let a customer leave in the manner that they did unsure how far I would get.I would never recommend this business based solely on the customer service I personally received.
