Workers there are great however owner is very over priced! Just kept it here cause its close to home and we had to leave it and walk home but $300 for 2 front brakes and $500 for the 2 lower arm controls is outrageous compared to the prices other mechanics gave me AFTER. Never again though! And will not recommend.

Very reliable mechanic and good customer service

Work is overpriced and didnt get the job done correctly. Had to come back a second time to get it fixed. Even the employees were baffled at the priced.If I wasnt traveling and in a jam I wouldnt of gone here. Definitely save your money and time and go else where. Charged me $100 for a diagnosis when I told him what the issue was.

Honest personal, and truthfull

Less than two months after taking my car for all the breaks (front and rear), I sounded louder than a city or school bus. Took my car bk and they wanted to charge me an additional $490 after I spent almost $900 the first time. I may be a woman but not stupid. I will never recommend any woman to go to Vista auto service. I would rather now spend the money with another mechanic.

After my battery light came on, I went to the company I bought it from as it was under warranty. Also, the car was making a humming sound when accelerating/decelerating. The battery tested well and I was sent to Vista. They were busy, and since the alternator was working, just going out, I expected to be told to come back after Thanksgiving. But, they fixed the whole thing in about two hours that same day. $350.

The towing guy took us to them, they want to charge us about $ 1000 for starter and they said the car has electrical problem, we had to towed are of there and we took it to other mechanic the only problem it has the starter. Don’t let the towing take you to vista auto service

Awesome work I trust Sammy and Tony with my vehicles. Left both of my vehicles amazing only mechanic in town I trust. Very well priced and they get straight to the point. You go there and they diagnose the exact problem with any vehicle. Also they are efficient and timely. So I would highly recommend this auto shop to everyone.

The towing service driver tries to push on this auto repair. Either there partners or hes getting a kickback. Do your own research before you take your vehicle there. Warning over priced. The tow service guy George is very convincing and he says there wont be any charges; if we are not happy and wont be a charge to get it towed to the original place I wanted. At the end, Sam wanted to charge me for a diagnostic plus the towing service to get my vehicle to the original destination.

The crew here at Vista Del Oro are excellent at their work! Towing by George, a cheery fellow, and emergency repairs done overnight by Sam made a very trying time into a great time, complete overview with what was needed to be done, what to expect and what has been done to troubleshoot.While my hybrid was not a typical vehicle, they were able to push through in a reasonable time frame.

I am very happy with the service here. I have bought in two of my cars. They did the spark plugs, crankshaft sensor and the ICM unit. They have good service if you need to find out if the car is ready or they need some more time it is called a phone call in stead of having to drive over there. People with a business are busy a good professionalized person knows this. I always call before going anywhere to pick up something because all businesses are busy.

I was in a horrible situation after my tow truck driver blew the rest of my transmission on my way from Texas to Arizona. These guys were a life saver! Honest, affordable, and quick! Thank You for getting me home safe! Transmission is still running better than ever! I recommend giving them a call if you are in need of assistance!

Ive never believe in the whole perfect service, 5or1s are usually blind love and extreme hate on reviews so heres mine, 4.5- theyre busy but always able to answer the phone to schedule next available time. I appreciate conciseness when talking to them, when I gave my problem I was given my options with minimums on getting my car to run, and if theres anything additionally wrong when I returned they evaluate it at no additional cost, ive had a few things replaced by them, Hard working so In many cases i would suggest you wait for their service they will get you in timely, in my experience theyre not just there to take my money but actually fix my car.

Our car stalled out and we had the car towed to Vista Auto service. I told them that the car had recently been replaced with fuel pump and sensors. I left it and next day they called me to tell me that the fuel tank was empty and needed for me to return the 6 month old fuel pump with warranty. Upon exchanging for new fuel pump and leaving them 2 gallons of gas from my gas can, I left the car there another day. I called them to ask on status? They said that the car runs fine after they drove it and they cleared a code. I went to pick up our car and my bill thay was not detailed to services done was $250 to essentially be told I had an empty fuel tank. No parts were replaced. I do not recommend this auto shop.

Vista Auto Service is a great place to bring your vehivle. Sam is a great mechanic and is always available to answer calls when needed. This was the only mechanic out of dozens that actually understood what was wrong with the vehicle. Would definitely bring our vehicle back again.

Took my truck there to get an engine problem diagnosed, got charged $275($40 of which was on the towing that i got charged $65 on my receipt from Vista)for a diagnosis of you have a cylinder with no compression, I can order a used engine and have it put in by sunday for $4500-$5500 and they took 3/4 of a tank of gas out of my tank. I didnt realize it until i got it towed to the dodge dealership. In my life I have never seen a mechanic shop so incompetent and shady that was still in business. This made me sick to my stomach. If I could give negative stars I would.

I took my BMW Z4 and was extremely satisfied with the quality of work and service! Its hard for me to find honest mechanics and really felt a great vibe with Sam. I really felt he was sincere with me and with the service my car really needed! I definitely recommend for foreign car owners who dont want to over spend at dealerships.

1100 Dollars for a Battery, water pump, Thermostat and Housing. I was only disappointed with the price. But Pep Boys supposedly replaced my Oil Pressure Switch and it aint working still. Need good mechanic any suggestions?

Sam was great! I had the unfortunate experience of getting gas in my diesel while traveling through. The tow truck guy recommended him, and called him around 6am on a Saturday morning. He gave me a quote, and said he could finish that day. He came early to his shop since he knew I was sitting there waiting, and even offered to loan me his truck for the day! The final price was a little more than quoted, but that’s not unusual. Still not bad for an early morning wake up call. Lol! Thank you, Sam!

They are very honest about the work they do. Did a very good job on my 2009 Toyota. I have already told a lot of people about this place.

I took my car for a timing belt and water pump replacement. It took them two days to do the job. They returned my car with a very noisy power steering. The power steering fluid reservoir was overfilled and there was air in the system. They damaged one of the power steering hoses. The pulleys and serpentine belt were wet with power steering fluid. I had to return the next day. The mechanic had no idea how to properly fill and bleed the power steering system. He didn’t even bother with the damaged power steering hose. The engine coolant reservoir was also overfilled. It makes me wonder if the timing belt and water pump were done correctly. The power steering hose needs to be replaced. The power steering system needs to be drained, refilled, and bleed. The engine coolant needs to be drained and refilled with the correct mixture. They left greasy stains on the door and hood and a guy in a white truck bumped the rear of my car. The owner of the shop was rude and the mechanic was a Mexican that barely spoke English. The owner barely knows how to write. Horrible place!

Dont go here period, my truck was supposed to go to viva Chevy and the tow driver recommended here so I agreed. They quoted me 150 bucks for my shifter cable replacement. I already had one and when they got it fixed Sam said it came to a total of 800 dollars. Toxic place and people. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place and dont listen to tow truck drivers.

I have been here several times and to date have been treated fair. The time to diagnose certain problems at times was time consuming like road testing vehicle on road. And was not overcharged for time spent driving car. I would recommend this Company

Sam was extremely accomadating and helpful! My RV broke down outside of El Paso, and I was towed their. Sam and his technicians worked very diligently to assess the (electrical) problem, and I was on my way within a few short hours!. Reasonable price, to. I highly recommend. They treated me very nicely and fairly.

Please and I mean please don’t ever take your car to this shop! Sam is a liar and they do shady business! If anyone wants to contact me and know why I feel this way feel free to contact me. This was by far the worst service I’ve ever received dealing with vehicle repair.

A tow truck driver (who must get kickbacks for it) recommended these clowns as being better, faster, and cheaper than Pep Boys. They had my truck for a month then said they couldnt figure out what was wrong with it -- and wanted $400 for the diagnosis. I took it Pep Boys afterwards. Two days and $150 and it was fixed.

Paid $70. And didnt find out car problem

I was traveling from San Diego, Ca to San Antonio during the Labor Day weekend, when my transfer case on my Silverado lock up due to low gear oil, I was tow to vista auto service, the owner Zam said that they would start on Tuesday due they were close for Labor Day, no problem I understand, it was Sunday. The problem was the transfer case was not the original one that was called for by the vin number, Tony the mechanic and Zam spend two fulls days driving and looking for the correct transfer case, which they did not charge me for the time. Finally when the correct part was found they were quick to repair and get me back on the road. The price was a lot cheaper than other places that I call around, the service was great, great customer service, my truck ran like a new truck again. Highly recommended this place, I am keeping them on my cell phone due to I drive thru here twice a year.

If you like dishonest people that like to charge you for parts you don’t need, this is the place for you. Avoid at all cost.

Horrible!! They purposely screwed up my 09 Toyota camry and had horrible customer service! Run as fast as you can from VISTA AUTO SERVICE !! I have a friend who also had an oil change there and now all of her gaskets are blown! OVER CHARGE Run do not walk!!

I took my car and it was given back with a hit on the back bumper with a dead battery issue was still not fixed but they still over charged me and did not want to fix it

The chicken enchiladas are the best in town, they did take awhile with the remodeling job on my kitchen cabinets but they look great it was worth the wait Im very happy I will send all my friends and family for the great service and the waitress was nice and it was reasonably priced for an oil change the owner is very sexy so dont send you wife alone..

Paid 250.00 to tell me my engine is no good and no fix. Also I think the tow truck guy was in this since he only gave the option to this mechanic.

Car broke down so was going to have it towed to pep boys, tow guy insists I go here because their better and cheaper and dont charge for a diagnosis. My radiator hose tore so all I needed was a replacement hose and a fluid flush plus fluid... get a call $450!!! They chargrd me a $100 diagnosis when I didnt even need one so yeah 450 for a fluid flush, thermostat, and radiator hose, im pretty sure the tow truck guy is in on the scam.
