Came here a few times a while back, but this was based on my latest visit.Went on a Sunday morning to see the craftbeer selection. Not busy inside. Store overall is pretty small, but at the ends of the store are two fridges of craft beer to select from. Very solid selection of cans to choose from. I purchased a couple of Great Notion stouts (which were easily available), a Cellador can and an Arrow Lodge can. Prices are reasonable. The owner, Moe, is a real chill dude.Overall, I highly recommend coming here for your craft beer needs.

Every kind of beer you can imagine. even ones whole foods and sprouts have on specialty. my only issue is i normally avoid liquor stores that have bulletproof glass for safety reasons, but i guess ill only come here during the daytime

Amazing selection of craft beer. If you are looking for some great beer they have every single type of beer from IPAs to awesome barrel aged hard to find beers. To top it off they have great service if you have any questions they are very helpful in whatever you might need.

MAAAAAN! This place is crazy big, bigger than their oc location and the selection is out of this world. I was able to buy J Wakefield beers and other half. I’ve never seen a store have those beers, now I know why ppl call the craft beer kings. I always stop by when I’m in the area!!!! ITS A MUST

WOW! This location is much bigger than the la habra store, and the staff is really friendly and they were kind to help me find some cool beers. Their singles door is AMAZING, they have literally everything!

Its never a quick stop at this place due to the selection and the deals they have. They also make sure to listen to their customers and they do their best to get the stuff you want. Simply the best place to get the latest in all things beer. They dont limit their supply to just what is hot either (the hazy IPA craze) they have PLENTY of the classic beers from all regions. You want local? No problem they get stuff from Monkish Mumford Green Cheek Indie Brewing etc. Their fridges are marked clearly so you know what youre getting. Moe is simply the man!!! The friendliest beer monger I have ever met. So helpful so non snobbish like others can be. He will help you with exactly what youre looking for

Love this place. One of the best liquor stores here in the sgv. They always have something new here, that i havent tried, and stay getting new craft beers every week. Their selection is great. The staff here is very friendly, and knowledgeable. Always willing to help you out with anything, so i stay coming back. Love that they also have a cbd selection in the store too.

Ive been going to plaza market for over 5 years and have always been welcomed with open arms. Mike and Moe are stand up guys who have love for both the beer community and anyone who is just swinging by for a pick up. The staff overall is friendly and very respectful.They greet everyone who comes in and goes out of their way to engage people in meaningful conversations. Ive been to a lot of liquor stores and local beer stores, this one consistently stands out time after time. They have a deep knowledge of the industry and back it up with a wonderful selection of beer an wine.My father goes to the El Monte location more than I and although he is limited in his English at times, has only ever had great experiences there.

Great variety for reasonable prices. Occasional rare brews and great wine selection. Punctuality is crucial if youre waiting for that Cantillon drop, but everything else is stand up for your local bottle shop needs, even online.

This place is absolutely fantastic. Ive worked in the beer industry on both the service and sales side and every time anyone asks for recommendations, whether beer novice or whale hunter, my answer is always the same. Drive to El Monte, find Craft Beer Kings, ask for MoeNot only has the beer selection always been rotating and fresh but its always more than fairly priced. (If you been charged/robbed in California for a $30 KBS 12oz- you know what Im talking about) The shop always has rare finds without the excessive markup or the haggle dance.The reason this place will always be my go to- customer service. Regardless of how much you spend, which beers youve had, whos name you drop you get the same excellent service. Every visit I have been personally greeted, helped, and remembered by either an owner or any of the staff. Its a level of service thats impossible to find in LA, these guys treat you like Kings!

Craft Beer Kings is THE BEST ONLINE BEER STORE. It’s a combination of being a kid in a candy store (think Willy Wonka) and opening up the best present you ever got on your birthday.The selection is amazing from whales (Fou Foune, Chocolate Rain, Bourbon County Rare, etc.,) to just amazing beers from any and every brewery you could think of and new up and coming ones you probably haven’t heard of yet but will. And the pricing is amazing, no matter how much you buy, or how rare the beer. The pricing is a happy surprise and relief.All of my boxes were shipped fast, never had any issues with bottles breaking or missing, just amazing birthday like feeling to get and open. Each bottle comes inside a separate bubble wrap, bag, and divider to keep them from falling. The boxes are written on to be handled with care, and which direction to face to prevent the bottles from being turned upside down or falling when being shipped.All of the staff members are super friendly and helpful. Moe is the most generous and amazing friend in beer you will ever have. There were so many beers I thought I’d never get to try, thanks to Moe and Craft Beer Kings I did and they were shipped right to my door.

I am quite unhapoy with the fact that i ordered on the 21st of september for a birthday on the 27th of september and when i called on the 25th to check on the progress and ask if it could be expidited... which they offered... it st ill saying that it will not be here until october. That is ridiculous and i am extremely dissapointed. Especially since i called and left a message before the second call that was completly ignored and never returned. I would gladly have paid extra to have it shipped faster and now my husbands birthday present will be 4 days late.

I placed an order on Monday, January 26th. All items I ordered were marked as in-stock. I was hoping to have the beer in time for the Super Bowl. CBKs shipping policy states: Although we are usually able to ship your order on the same day, occasionally, demand for limited supplies will deplete our stock of a particular item. If this is the case, the item will be placed on backorder and we will notify you via e-mail. I checked FedExs ground delivery time. It was supposed to take three days. Thursday the 29th rolls around; no beer. Friday comes; still no beer. I was already very disappointed that it didnt come in time for the big game. Sunday, February 1st rolls around, and I receive an email from CBK: We just want to let you know that we are currently processing your order and it will be shipped soon. At this point, Im pretty miffed. I sent them an email asking what is taking so long. On Feb 2nd, they respond by telling me that two of the five different beers I ordered are not in stock. I responded by telling them that their site claimed that every beer I ordered was in-stock (a major part of the reason I ordered from there) and that I would receive an email if the website was wrong, which I never did. I get no apology for that and no reason why I wasnt notified that these beers werent in-stock. Later that afternoon, they respond by telling me that one of my backordered beers has arrived, but they dont know when the other one will arrive. They tell me that they can upgrade me to a better bottle. So I say, How bout a bottle of _____?. He tells me that beer isnt currently in stock either (despite the website saying it was). I say, How bout _____?. He says, You got it, and tells me hes throwing something else in for the delay. Two days later, February the 4th, my order actually ships. Not only did I not have it in time for last weekend, I wont have it this weekend either.Short story long, I placed an order for a few different beers that were all supposedly in-stock and they didnt ship until 9 days later. Until I initiated a conversation about the late shipment, I never received an email from CBK stating that some of the product I ordered was out of stock which is a requirement of their shipping policy. It will be a full 14 calendar days before I receive my order and would have been much longer than that if I hadnt contacted them. Once the dialogue started, they did respond very quickly; thats the reason for the second star. If the something else small that was included for the delay turns out to be worth it, Ill add another star for attempting to make the situation right.
