All I needed was a guest room solution for adding more space and versatility. What I got was a hugely better bed for my guests. It is a very comfortable sleeping choice behind a beautiful piece of furniture. I had looked at many wall beds in many different stores. They all looked the same. Sandi came up with simple design twist that set my wall bed far above the others I had seen. So I got what I needed, but I had the good chance to work with a company that had been recommended to me by two sets of people who had already had good experiences. The service was good and my wall bed was ready and installed earlier than expected. The installers were very pleasant, worked fast, did an extra little side task and left the room clean and beautiful.

I searched at least four different places before settling on Sandmar. There is a price difference, but I must say this company is worth every penny. I was able to clearly articulate my design needs and they constructed this unit to my exact specifications. This wall bed totally transforms my studio rental into a true dual-function space, effectively doubling the square footage. It is a bedroom when the bed down and instantly a living room with it up. I highly recommend Sandmar when considering a wall bed.

What a tremendous job Sandmar did on my custom wall bed and cabinets. I removed a closet and had Sandmar build a bed with cabinets on both sides to fit into the space of my closet. The cabinetry is beautiful, the fit into the space is perfect and it looks beautiful when the bed is down or up hidden away. Sandi is so pleasant to work with and makes sure everything is perfect. The installers come and go so unobtrusively and leave behind nothing but a beautiful bed. They clean up everything. I am so pleased that I chose Sandmar and would definitely recommend them to anyone that wants quality cabinet work.

We love our Wall Bed by Sandmar!! It was built to fit between an existing custom cabinet system with a unique stain. Sandi and Jen were able to match the stain and quality of the cabinets and made it look as if it were all built at the same time! It was a bit pricey but well worth it because the room is beautiful and the bed is top quality and does not feel unstable. In addition the suspension makes the bed very easy to use and safe. You will love your bed if you are considering one. Sandmar is worth the investment!!

I am extremely pleased with the furniture Sandi and Jenn built for me. I first went to them for a murphy bed and book case unit. I was so happy with the construction and attention to detail that I asked them to build a matching desk a year later. Sandi carefully listened to all of my requests, and built exactly what I wanted. I went back again for an entertainment center. It is beautiful, with a perfect stain match to the existing furniture in my living room. The one time with my 3 orders that a piece needed a minor adjustment, they came right out and fixed it. Sandmar is wonderful. I highly recommend them.

From the time we stepped into the showroom we new had found the right place for our solution to a small multi-use bedroom. Sandi greeted us, showed us a few beds and NEVER pressured us. We found the design that would meet our style and scheduled the install. They worked with us to have the Murphy bed installed before family was going to visit. Sandi is an excellent communicator. She is patient and thoughtful, with highly developed designer skills. Having gone through multiple design iterations together with her input, we came to realize that installing anything other than exactly what you want is unnecessary and it compromises the total project. Staying within bounds of our project budget, our wall bed project grew to include an attached wall desk with cabinet storage and coordinated vanities for two bathroom re-models. The results are spectacular.

In a word, Outstanding! We found Sandmar (and Sandi) on line in a google search for Wall Beds (Murphy Beds). After reviewing the website we set up a time to meet Sandi at her shop. She listened to our needs and showed us options. Sandi is very easy to work with - no hard sell here.. her product speaks for itself. We made the decision that day to have Sandi craft our wallbed. We brought some wood samples home to decide on type of wood and color of the stain. We were a bit stuck on a couple of choices so Sandi volunteered to come to our house with a few other samples. Bingo, we all agreed on one of the samples and on to the next step. Sandi stayed in touch with us thru production and installation. We are extremely pleased with how the bed looks. High quality - craftsman look - fair price.

After deciding we wanted to transform a room into multipurpose and doing some comparison shoppong, we came upon Wall beds by Sandmar. Top quality and custom built to fit your space perfectly. They have a show room that is very helpful and Sandi is very knowledgeable on helping figure out design issues. Once we settled on a design, Sandi even came out to make sure the fit would be perfect. We brought a photo of what we were looking to achieve with reclaimed wood. Incredible! We had looked at all the downtown and around town wall bed stores in San Diego, when we found this on the internet. We made an appointment, not very hopefully, I might add, and it turned out that they could create exactly what we were looking for (a shoji look) at a most competitive price. It was ready exactly when they said it would be, and their installation people were neat, polite, and efficient. It is a wonderful bed, and all of out guests have commented on how comfortable it is. Much better than a hide-a-bed.Would use them again in a heartbeat. A great experience!

Sandi did such a fantastic job on our custom murphy bed that we had Sandmar do our complete kitchen remodel a year later. There couldnt have been a better place for us to have a wallbed constructed to our exact needs. We worked with Sandi, and she helped us design the wallbed with a closet on either side. We also had a couch made that sits in front of the walbed. The cushions come off and the bed glides down between the couches arms perfectly. Sandi also built a dresser that sits under a TV and houses the DVR box so no wires show. Just perfect. Everyone that comes to see our new room is so impressed by the workmanship, design, and how big a small room can look. The door of one closet was a little lower than the other and Sandi came right back out to correct it. She obviously takes great pride in her work. We couldnt be happier.
