Very very pleased. I drive a high Perfornance sports car & have had trouble finding an honest & reliable mechanic. True-line was recommended to me by a good friend & I am more than pleased I took his advice. I live a 40 minute drive from this business & it was completely worth the trip. My fuel economy increases by 3 extra miles per gallon according to my in dash computer all because they fixed my alignment correctly which other mechanics could not do. They definitely know what they are doing here. A+ business!

After mulitple shops turned me down locally, i decided to take my truck to the best shop i knew of. No fancy lasers, no excuses. My truck is a frankenstien of sorts, and, as always they had no issues making it drive better than it ever has, even with a few worn out parts. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment. These fellas take their time to make it right. If youre a hot rodder, a mad maxxer, a tuner, someone with a 10 ft tall truck or even a soccer parent, this is the shop to turn to.

Make sure to not have a single thing wrong with your vehicle before doing an alignment... dude ( alex ) will charge you 30 bucks as an inspection fee... i get hes trying to help but if I choose to do some work else were Im entitled to that without his attitude showing... he needs to learn that who works on your vehicle matters... Im sure he does a good job but I have my own mechanic that I trust and will get it done without the BS... leaving without alignment... Ryan has great customer service.. I appreciate your help

I love True Line El Cajon. They have been aligning my cars and trucks for years. I have a Hummer H2, a Audi S6 wagon, a Jeep TJ Rubicon rock crawler, and a 350Z time attack race car. They have aligned all of these cars as well as my former cars: BMW e30 M3, Nissan Skyline R32 GTR, Toyota Avalon, and Mazda RX-8. They are very willing to work with me to dial in the fine tuning of my excessively complicated suspension system on my racecar. Recently I had them install a synergy tie rod and drag link system on my Jeep. They got it done on short notice, same day Saturday, over Labor Day weekend. Would highly recommend them to any one with normal to interesting suspension alignments.

When these guys road test i mean they track it hard and put it thru the paces. I mean two wheel performance. Not cheap but blonde. Seems to work ok when i get it. Beware fox stabilizer is too strong might drift. Expect min of 500 no matter what.

Best alignment shop hands down. Took my car multiple other places they said it was fine. Took vehicle to them and they got it straight. After Pep Boys, Midas and others said that its fine.

Had an appointment on a Saturday August 8th 2020. Went in a little early to drop the truck off and sat in their lobby for about 10-20 min with no one to help me. Walked out by the work bays to see if I could get someone to help but no one acknowledged i was there.. then noticed they dont use an alignment machine and they do it rhe old school way using a chaulk line and measurements. Not necessarily a wrong way of doing it but not going to be as precise as using a alignment machine. Was glad that they lagged long enough for me to realize how they were doing alignments. I can use a caulk line and a tape measure in my driveway for free.

Ive got a 62 Cadillac Series 62, and I dont trust her with just anyone. She had a shimmy and shake when breaking, pull to the left, and a vibration at freeway speed. They quickly and accurately found it was the strut rod bushings and center link, where I thought it was a bad wheel bearing. And were they right! After taking it to True Line, she drives like she just came off the lot, and my gas mileage reflects it... If youve got a classic, take it to these professionals. Definitely will go back!

The only place I go for wheel alignment on both vehicles.

I took my car there for an alignment and they said $90 is the cost which is normal for a 4 wheel alignment. The moment they find out i drive a Maserati they change it $90 for 2 wheel alignment $180 for all 4 wheels!!! Which I’ve never heard of such a thing. They don’t even have a proper machine for alignment. The guy was using chalk and old measuring system to align the front wheels and at the end they come to me saying it can’t be aligned, needs bunch of parts replaced on the suspension and charged me $75. Took the car to another shop with actual alignment machine and computer measurement got the car aligned without replacing any part for $60. Never ever going back there again.

An incredible find, in this day and age. Not only did Larry fix my van for less than anyone else, he also found damage that the dealer had overlooked. Had he not inspected my axles, I might have lost a wheel while driving on the freeway. That would not have ended well.When I needed extensive work to be done, he offered me a ride home or a loaner car--my choice, for no extra charge. I decided to walk home, since I live close by and had no pressing errands to run that day. Still, it was great of him to offer.I recommend True Line Auto Alignment to anyone with suspension-, steering-, or brake-related issues. They do fantastic work for a great price and treat their customers as theyd like to be treated.

They dont screw with you trying to jack up the price by asking you to approve unneeded work just for an alignment. (I know how it is, I was a mechanic for 24 years...). I use them regularly.

The man aligned my wifes dads Cadillac SRX, and it drove the best it ever has, it just felt and looked right. The next day I brought them my F350 and it too tracked better than ever. I highly recommend them, very happy, praise God.

I brought my Tesla Model X here and the end result was perfect alignment despite their not having full specs for Tesla. Appreciated the tech sharing the challenges they encountered and being persistent in getting it right. Nice facility and saved me a long drive to the current and only Tesla service facility in the county.

They will line up anything.Edit: they are ok, you have to make appointments for everything, they can never do same day walk-ins. Says a 4 wheel alignment is 80$ on the website, charged over 200$ for my car... not and suv or truck or anything crazy, just a good tire wear alignment.... kinda annoying but lesson learned, gonna watch some YouTube videos and do a diy alignment.

They did an awesome job on my brake inspection, and toe alignment. All of that was only $39. Great customer service, the guy that worked on my car was super chill, we were relating stories about our cars while he worked on the alignment. He even gave me tips and some help on ways to get my car function better. Definitely coming back for future services.

I use true line for all of my front end diagnostics and repairs. I have used them for a few years now and have never been disappointed. Recently I drove my parents 08 F350 diesel and it had a bad shimmy and pulled to one side. True line was quick in diagnosing that while I had worn front end components on the truck nearing 100k miles, the initial safety issue was that my front left tire was separating and was not safe to drive on. Huge thanks to True Line as my parents may have just tried to push through this issue when towing heavy trailers. After getting new tires on the truck, True Line was able to work me into their busy schedule to replace the worn components and perform an alignment to ensure that the truck was safe and didnt pre-maturely ware out the tires.I will always recommend True Line for any suspension or steering related issues.

Went for an alignment, two hours later it was finished and they did a great job. Im so glad my tire guy at Joes Tires recommended 4 new tires after noticing the rear tires were old and cracked, it helped everything go smoothly. Ive been using TrueLine since they opened and have always got great service.

A friend of my reccommended I use his old high school buddies brake and alignment shop in East county when I told him of my plans to rebuilt my struts on my salvage 81 Civic. I go to the shop with grease stained hands still in my coveralls because I knew the alignment was off after rebuilding the struts and using a tape measure on the toe. The mechanic put it on the rack and at a glance decided to try to sell me new struts. I ask him to please remove the car from the rack and give me the keys.I then drove it to True Line in El Cajon and after 20 mins the mechanic gave me to choice of pull the frame 1/4 so it will track straight or leave it and forever pull to the right with no tire wear. Knowing the car was salvage, I could see he knew what he was talking about. I gave him permission to pull the frame and it drove like new.True line is the only shop I trust to date

I like this shop. Very helpful, friendly and the service was prompt. I walked in off the street, they took my truck right away. When he was done, the mechanic explained what was wrong, what he did and thanked me for coming in. My truck tracks perfectly. I am happy.

Took my car to two other nationwide chain companies for them to align my car since i had the lifetime alignment with them. Just for it to still drive horribly. Neither of them caught the fact that I had a bad control arm bushing, not allowing it to be aligned, so after getting it back from them, the car would still have the same problems. True Line found the problem within 20 minutes of having it on the rack. Informed me of the issue, I replaced the Arm two days later, brought it back to True Line the next weekend. Car drives like a dream!!!!!!! Bringing my other car in next, because the chain store did a horrible job on that car too.
