My father purchased an expensive board from this place. At first it was great, but in less than three weeks a large crack had appeared, effectively ruining the board. When I called support they told me in a smug fashion that all boards purchased from outlet are sold “as is”, so no warranty or refund will be honored. Fair enough, but I certainly expect the board to last longer than three weeks of infrequent usage. Very poor experience, would recommend avoiding this place. At the very least, please understand the risk prior that your expensive cutting board may last less than a month with no recourse other than self repair.

Purchased a cutting board from seconds room that did not have the drip tray with it. Get it home and the “oops” is such that the tray won’t even contain the liquids. Was also told that the oil and wax for the board would be given at no charge due to $$$ that we spent. Reviewed the receipt and was charged for it too. Not a good experience at all.

Staff was knowledgeable and super nice to answer our questions and make sure we were happy with our selections.

Had awesome customer service, very knowledgeable about all product. The butcher block island I bought is perfect in my kitchen.

Love this place! I purchased a steamer butcher block in cherry; it perfectly matches the rest of my cabinetry and is the crowning addition to our kitchen remodel. The staff is completely knowledgeable and make every effort to help you! I have also bought several counter-top chopping blocks for gifts over the years. They are true craftsmen/women who create top quality products. If you look closely, you are apt to find Boos blocks on many of the shows on The Food Network and The Cooking Channel!

Boos make the very best butcher blocks and solid wood table and counter tops in the U.S.This company store sells a good selection of cutting boards and other items. They also sell, at huge discount, some very slightly blemished larger items and overruns.We know that the main company stands behind its products. Our first purchase (from a local dealer) was a gorgeous American black walnut table top. They didnt hesitate to ship a replacement when we discovered an almost invisible mar.

Products are 5 star - prices are very reasonable for the quality you get - have been in the store twice and the same rude employee Alice “waited” on us . She is not friendly, she is rude and treated us like we shouldn’t even be in the store! She seemed concerned that we would be leaving the store without paying. Will not be returning.

World-class company with a showroom right here in Effingham! Were lucky to have this brand in our town...I see Boos Blocks on every Food Channel show I watch...its amazing!

Everyone here is so welcoming and helpful. We stopped by on a road trip and picked up a beautiful edge grain board for ourselves and another one as wedding present. They also have tables, countertops and other accessories in the showroom. The seconds room has a varying selection of slightly imperfect boards at a deep discount, you just have to have the fortitude to wade through them and pick out the best one. They also have regular boards wrapped up in plastic packaging at a pretty hefty discount. To give you an idea of the price variations, our second board was $65. The regular, wrapped-up one in the showroom was $125. The online price was around $200 from other sellers.They were even nice enough to show us different options for the block feet and installed them for free on our board. (Maple, walnut, and stainless steel!) We even accidentally took the wrong board home and after that mix up, they were kind enough to help us fix the problem and swap them out.I highly recommend stopping and grabbing a block or two! At these prices, I would be fine buying more than one just for my kitchen. We look forward to coming back when we have our own house and some kitchen countertops to build!

Wow so we drove 4 hours to car show ..funny ...went in this drive out bought 3 cutting blocks right ..they engrave ....funny ..we are across the street at hotel ..we had some photos we wanted engraved ... Said no problem tomorrow is fine ..yeah right guys fine so they say we called 2 other engravers . Right no luck ...fantastic ....well we will never do business with this place the Amish have stuff in Iowa
