From parts, apparel and even jewelry. They have it all.

Funfest 2021 was fun had great day, it was very small compared to previous years. Hope that it returns to its former glory days of many more cars and vendors. The Fun dome and Install dome werent open this year and we were somewhat disappointed.

We stayed here through Harvest Host. What a great location. Quiet,the museum was great a lot of prototype and race Corvettes.

I paid $46 after shipping for a quality aftermarket (as described on the website) fuel pump for my VW. I received a Chinese made EMPI pump, with the Made in China label on the box ever so cleverly covered by their internal part number sticker. Real tricky. Could have bought this same pump from Amazon for $18 shipped. Numerous attempts to contact them about this went unanswered. Buyer beware.

Excellent place for Corvette parts

I bought the door seal kit for my 71 super. After installing I had a hard time rolling the windows up and down. Also the outside scrapers didnt even touch the windows so I called them up, told them the problem. Was told to wait awhile and the window will seat themselves and was told to send the wipers back and I would be refunded the money for them. I only received some of the money back. Now it has not been five months and the window channels are falling apart. I have called them back and sent pictures but yet to hear back from them. That was three hours weeks ago. I think it would be foolish of me to deal with them anymore.

Ordered a Garage Mat in mid February for 48 hour delivery. Next day I get an email that says this item is not eligible for rush delivery..... About 3 weeks go by and Ive heard absolutely nothing from them... I call and get told that it would be delivered at the end of March.....Beginning of April and Ive heard nothing....Once again call and am told that it would be the end of April!Multiple times during these two months a pending charge is placed on my account.... After I cancelled the order (and got one delivered by someone else) the charge continues to appear on my card.This company cares nothing about delivering to the customer. I regret every attempting to do business with them. They seem to have significant issues managing payments and charging customers.Order from them at your own risk

Ive been going to the Corvette Fan Fest for over 5 years now and Bob Homestead and his wife have been very hospitable.

ORDERED A TRANSMISSION THE BEGINNING OF OCTOBER. CALLED MULTIPLE TIMES REQUESTING TO TALK TO ANYONE IN CHARGE. LEFT A MESSAGE FOR PENNY AND NEVER GOT CALLED BACK.AT FIRST I WAS TOLD IT WAS GOING TO BE 2 WEEKS. THEN I WAS TOLD IT WAS THREE WEEKS TO RECEIVE, THEN WAS INFORMED IT WAS THREE WEEKS OF BUSINESSES DAYS. REGARDLESS MORE THAN THREE MONTHS WENT BY WITH STILL NO TRANSMISSION. I LOST TRACK OF HOW MANY TIMES I CALLED. WHEN I CALLED TO CANCEL THE ORDER MAGICALLY ITS IS IN ROUTE BUT DWANE DOESNT HAVE THE TRACKING NUMBER! I UNDERSTAND THIS IS FOR AND OLD VEHICLE AND IT COULD TAKE A WHILE, I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THAT. MY PROBLEM IS THAT I PROMISED THE VEHICLE IN THREE WEEKS AND DIDNT DELIVER! USING THIS COMPANY HURT MY GOOD REPUTATION. THANKS FOR NOTHING! A BIT OF AN UPDATE AFTER I CALLED AND CANCELED THE ORDER I THEY STILL SENT THE TRANS AND BILLED MY CREDIT CARD. PENNY CALLED TO OFFER 10% OFF AND TRIED TO GET ME TO ACCEPT THE TRANS. I DECLINED AND THEY SENT IT AND CHARGED MY CARD FULL PRICE

Stopped to see the free Corvette museum. Clean and comfortable. Had a few classic Corvettes and a half dozen racing Corvettes. Good history about all of them. The store area was larger than the museum. Easy to get to and plenty of parking.

Nothing but lies from 3 different people. Dont bother trying to do business with this company. They care nothing about customer satisfaction. Waited 3 months on my order only to end up canceling because nothing was happening. Just check other reviews...wish I had sooner!

Soft goods are always available here, sometimes the wait is a little long, but I love the FunFest each year!

I bought a front end mask for my 2009 Corvette from Mid America Motor Works. It quickly lost 3 plastic clips and so no longer stays attached properly. I asked Mid America Motor Works if they could provide some additional clips and they advised the Masks come as one piece and they will not sell the parts separately. Dont buy Mid America Motor Works front end Masks - they are poor quality and they provide poor supportj

Went for the Luke Bryan concert. This is a great venue for outdoor concerts and I really hope they do it again. Just a little more organized next time please.

This is the place to go if you are a corvette enthusiast. They have a nice museum and sell about any custom car parts and accessories that you could desire. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The only reason I rated one star is that zero was not an option. Ordered shocks for the corvette. Shown as in stock when ordered. 12 days later no shocks have arrived.Called and they are back ordered. I asked the Rep when someone was going to provide an order status. She agreed this is poor customer service never telling me of the delay or change in status. Worst customer service ever with an online order.Do not depend on these guys to come through when you need them.

Received a turn signal housing for 60 bus. Ordered the right side. Got a left side marked as a right side in a sealed bag. Now I have to weld the drain hole and drill it in the correct place. First time ordering from MAM...

It was great.Talked to alot of interesting people and seen a ton of corvettes.

Called and ordered an intake manifold for my vette. They put the funds as a pending charge, and after 3 weeks no update. I call, they have no answer as to why it hasn’t shipped. “Oh it’ll be in the next couple days”. After 3 more phone calls they say it’ll be another 2 weeks. I cancelled and had the part from another company within 3 days. We used to get their catalog every month. I’m done.

Interesting Corvette museum. Meeting there and knowing the owners was very helpful to understands Corvette history but also museum exponents. Sure the big surprise was the driving invitations of two different car.

Ive had nothing but good experiences with this company.I never been to their building, I only order their parts online from Colorado. Ive been ordering stuff from these guys for the last 10 years, No order is too small for them! Ive literally ordered a $5 part from them and it came within 1.5 weeks. Ive also made 200$+ Orders and they ALWAYS arrive on time, and in mint condition and parts ALWAYS FIT!! (Try doing that with ebay and amazon) This company is my go-to for my 1974 VW Bug.

I used MidAmerica exclusively for parts rebuilding my 78 several years ago they were . Starting on another c3 this year and i have cancelled most of what I have ordered after lomg delays and no communication from them. Used to be great, even worth driving over occasionally, now very bad terrible customer service. Zero stars.

They have a very nice free museum of rare Corvettes and some VWs from the Herbie movies. In the gift shop they have something you can find for a Corvette owner or lover. It is worth a stop off the interstate or an afternoon drive.

Ordered while at the corvette fun fest and face to face customer service was excellent. I was told what I ordered would be delivered in 10-14 business days and I would know when it shipped after the shipping charges were taken out separately. 8 days after placing the order the full amount was removed from my account and I excitedly waited.... 5 weeks after placing the order and numerous calls later I was finally told it hasnt shipped and could still be another 3 weeks before I MIGHT get it so I cancelled the order and had to wait for a refund after being told they hadnt debted the money from the account, that it was pending. I asked my bank and they said the money had been debted and no credits were showing so I called again and got the run around as to where the money was.

If you like corvettes or vws this is the place to go

Waited nearly a year (!!) for VW sound deadener after which time they sent me an email indicating that they were not going to be able to get it from their supplier. They could substitute a different product. Replied to the email saying that I would be fine with that. No response for 2 weeks. Called back, got someone who said they would get it sent out, but it would take 2 weeks to get from the manufacturer. Called back the next day, told them that since I could get this from the local auto parts store, I wanted to cancel the order, which they did. 2 weeks later I get a shipping confirmation and a charge to my credit card for half again the cost of what I had originally ordered. Called them to find out why my card was charged despite me cancelling the order and they say they will send me a return authorization, but I am going to be responsible for shipping costs, refusing to send a prepaid return label.There are way too many VW suppliers out there to give any more money to support this nonsense.

It would be helpful if MAM would let customers know when they order if something is not currently in stock. Our corvette is now in the shop for paint, the funds for seals were taken from our account, so we assumed they had shipped. When I did not receive a shipping confirmation or tracking, I called customer service to find that the items were on back-order from a drop ship location and were due in a few days. Not good! $$ should never be actually taken from your account, only pre-authorization until an item ships. This is the second occurrence that a MAM customer service rep did not inform us over the phone that an item we placed on order was not readily available to ship. they just took our $$ and let us find out later.

We stopped in after talking to locals in Effingham. Really nice fun time shopping and looking at all the corvettes here.

I have used Mid America for a long time, however they went down hill drastically. Back orders are ridiculous with unknown wait times, several parts dont fit or poor craftsmanship and their customer service is horrible. Just pray you dont have problems because they wont help you or take care of it. I dont think there is a single Volkswagen enthusiast working there. If I treated my customers this way I would be out of business! I wont spend a single dollar more with this company and have returned a few I didnt use yet.

I ordered a convertible top for my Corvette on July 10, 2015. I have contacted Mid America Motorworks several times to find when it will be shipped, each time to get a little different story, but the bottom line is they have no idea when it will ship. They wont tell me who the manufacturer is, where they are located, how they ship products, nothing. Simply the worst customer service I have ever experienced

Read on the website that my order will be shipped in 5 to 7 days. On the 8th day called about my order to check the status, cause it had not shipped, they told me my item has been ack ordered and the it would ship in a week or two. Very upsetting, I will give them another week, then I will see the status. I might cancel the order.

Customer service is horrible. Orders placed with parts that are listed as in stock not shipped for weeks. Call MAMW and customer service can offer no help or expected time frames. On day I am told the order is in the truck and should be shipping tomorrow, a few days later I am told the order has not been processed yet. Lied to repeatedly. This went on for almost a month.When you call the company with frustration no one cares. They just read off their computer and your left without your parts.Go somewhere else with your business.

Ordered a full carpet set, black, for my wifes Giha. Received in a few days with just 2 pieces of carpet for god knows what. Got the return label shipped it back and they sent our another.. This time it was grey, not the black I ordered, and looked like the edges were bound by Stevie Wonder. Terrible quality! I would recommend anyone who is thinking of ordering from these people go else were. I feel sorry for the people in their return department. Maybe the guy in the stupid hat should get into the warehouse and see what is going wrong!!!Kirt

Weve been going to the funfest for 23 years straight. This is the last one. Prices are 100% over retail. It used to be a funfest where Mike yeager thought of his fellow Corvette fans. Its all about the dollar now....

I ordered a distributor a coil a windshield and an exhaust and it took almost 7 months to get my parts it doesnt take seven months to manufacture the parts send them to the assembly place and then ship them to you even if you did it all by boat it doesnt take seven months they couldnt give me an explanation why theres no reason to not have all these parts sitting in a warehouse when your low you order more common sense.

I ordered a ton of VW parts and paid for overnight shipping so that my wife and I could spend our vacation time rebuilding our engine. I got an email 3 days later after wondering why my parts hadnt arrived yet. This email stated that a large part of our order would not ship for 4 more weeks. I called them the next day and the response I got was not helpful. The representative was frustrated with me for calling and asking questions about the order and just kept telling me that the shipping time varies. When I asked about the rest of the parts she said that those would be 6-8 weeks!!! This is ridiculous. Post your lead times on your website so that people who want to order parts from them know that it will take quite a while to get them.TLDR: Rude rep on the phone and very long lead time (6-8 weeks) without any indication that this is the case...

I ordered some lowered spring plates ( VW) and necessary tool that accompanies the plates about 27 days ago. Emailed them a week ago stating i havent seen the parts or received an email saying they were back ordered, etc. I called today and was treated like i was bothering Haley. She said Once we get an order we place it with the company we buy from then its in their hands I took that as not our problem. She reluctantly sent an inquiry about my stuff. She said she has no idea how long it will take, thiss happens a lot. Maybe state that somewhere before we give a credit card number? I have a lot of parts to purchase for my project and i will not be buying from Mid America Motorworks again. I own a small business and theres no way i could, or would mislead my customers, theyre too important, IMO. S

Good way to get my Vette Fix

Mid America has a great selection worth of parts for our classic VW but thats where it ends. We never received any notification there was a backorder on a part (a very vital part of our engine) until the other parts arrived and they werent in there. Got notification that the push rod tubes were shipped out on a Monday from Illinois and by Thursday we became impatient, as ground shipping with FedEx should be 1-2 days. Friday evening I called because it still hadnt arrived and they said maybe tomorrow. I asked for SOME of our shipping back because we paid $15.99 for ground shipping and it wasnt shipped ground (the backorder was sent SmartPost, which I can tell you from a former employee of an online retailer SUCKS) and they said Nope. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do but waitWhat happened to that whole thing on their site that says they exceed expectations in customer service? Well just order from other places like JayBugs or Airhead Parts. Rather pay just a few dollars more and get them when were supposed to.

I am still dealing with this company and over 10,000 dollars in parts I bought from them. They DO NOT CARE AT ALL WHATSOEVER ABOUT TIMELINES! Ive spoken with many so called Managers and Supervisors and not even they seem to give a care in the world about the fact that their advertisement is wrong. Thinking of taking legal action against them. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SITE UNLESS YOU DONT CARE AT ALL WHEN YOUR PARTS WILL BE RECEIVED.
