This was such a quaint,impressive, and fun store. They had a good selection of books for young and old. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We are from the south side of OKC and will make the trip to Edmond for our bookstore experience.

I LOVE this bookstore! It is not a chain store and you can feel the positive ambiance of an old-fashioned book store when you go in. They have a wonderful childrens section that my granddaughter loves. You can find just about any book. If you cant, they will order it for you. They also have unusual gifts. We love to go to their book signings by well-known authors and illustrators. Very friendly, helpful and customer oriented.

My grandparents moved to Edmond in 86. I spent every summer till 1997 at their house going every week to Best of Books to buy my weekly books. My Tootsie bought me every Babysitter’s Club Little Sister, Babysitter’s Club, Sweet Valley High, Goosebumps book I wanted. This store hasn’t changed and is a treasure in Edmond. A small reminder of my Tootsie.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!I ordered several books for my sons birthday this Friday. Could I have ordered the books on Amazon or B&N? Sure, but I like supporting local small businesses, especially bookstores. Not only did I order the books online through the store website but the books were here and at my door in four days. They had to order the books but then hand delivered them to my front door - THEMSELVES. If that isnt through the roof AMAZING - I dont know what is.CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!

I popped into this bookshop today in search of a novel to read for spring break as well as a memoir that my professor recommended to me. Not only did they have the memoir (on sale too), but they also had extremely helpful workers. The younger employee recommended an 80’s fiction book and I love it so far. I love supporting independent bookstores and this shop is well worth your time!

This store is absolutely wonderful. The book club program has been so helpful. FOR THOSE WHO DONT KNOW: after 12 books purchased, you have store credit to spend! Nan and Joe are nice, and make you feel at home.

I’ve been coming here since I was a child. Small, hometown bookstore offering a variety of genres and a good children’s section. Lining the fiction shelves are handwritten reviews of featured books, which adds a nice personal touch to the browsing and buying experience. The ladies in the shop are super sweet and would love to help you find what you’re looking for.

Excellent selection of books, especially new and classic childrens books. My daughter loves coming here and checking everything out. They also offer free story time on Saturdays. Neat place for families and book lovers to check out together.

I had a great experience recently at this store. The clerk on the counter waited on me very quickly and was so friendly I forgot I was in a book store. I found the employees here most helpful and I was able to get in and get out quickly. I noticed this store was clean and it looked to me like they do a lot of kids things. I do not have any kids but I am smart enough to know that is where our future ls.Thanks guys for the great experience and keep up the good work. I will definitely be back when I come through Edmond.

Love this smaller locally owned book store. They have the best author visits and a wonderful atmosphere. I would recommend taking a look. They are also super helpful when I am trying to find books for others but not sure what to get.

Just the best- My mom took me here for books growing up and now I take my baby daughter. The old ladies remember me from when I came as a kid. Great childrens books section and the most knowledgable staff! I hope it never closes. To the crying one star lady: not everyone wants to be verbally accosted upon entering a book store like its a B&N. Had you spoken to her, she would have been more than happy to help!

This was my absolute favorite bookstore growing up and I would beg my parents to take me there to see if the newest book in one of the many series I read was available. I cant wait to start taking my daughter there!

This is a wonderful bookstore! Everyone has always been incredibly helpful.

I went this Saturday for their 30th Anniversary. They had a story time with an author, cookies and hot apple cider, coffee and even goodie bags for the kids. So glad to have a locally owned independent bookshop nearby. It was pretty crowded, but a really cozy atmosphere, surrounded by all of these well organized displays of books and toys. Gave us tons of great ideas for Christmas.

Having just moved here, I searched for a local bookstore to purchase five books as gifts. I was so excited to find this place; I stopped for coffee to brace myself for a fun afternoon at the bookstore! My experience went downhill quickly. The older woman at the counter never greeted me, never asked if I needed help finding something, or if I was finding what I needed. She was so cold and curt. I cried all the way to my car. Amazon it is.
