I was worried that I would not find a great repair shop like I had in Tulsa, but I have and it is Autoworks. I went to the dealer to get the oil changed and they recommended transmission service for over $200. I called Autoworks, after seeing they were a Japanese car shop, and they did the service for a fraction of what the dealer wanted. I highly recommend Autoworks. I will be taking all 3 of my Honda vehicles there for any and all service.
Great shop, great prices.
Joe is great at what he does...promptly and correctly fix what needs fixed. And hes great at what he doesnt do...try to fix something that doesnt need repairs and overcharging for his work.
Does great work and has reasonable prices.
Awesome people love the clean shop
I moved to OKC three years ago and was searching for over a year to find an awesome mechanic to replace the one I loved in Denver. My search ended here. These people know what they are doing. They do it in a timely manner. The garage is ship shape...very clean. They are busy but I can usually get an appointment within a week. Most importantly they are honest. If your vehicle really needs the repairs or maintenance they let you know......if it can wait they will also let you know and there is absolutely no pressure. This husband and wife team take pride in their business and it shows. I told my mechanic in Denver that I was locked into buying only Japanese Autos because I didnt ever want to lose them as a mechanic, I feel the same way about Autoworks. Give them a try, you wont regret it. Oh, did I mention their services are priced very competitively !
I took my car in for an issue with the heater and a broken brake light. The people there looked at it and reported that the heater was working. They fixed the brake light and only charged for that service. The waiting room was very nice and clean, as was the working bays. The ladies I dealt with were quite friendly and solicitous.
Great place to take your car! They were highly recommended by my brother who knows car so that brought me in initially. The lady who works the front desk is super sweet and the guy who owns it is really nice as well. They are fair about pricing and are willing to do whatever they need to do to help you have a good experience. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Joes is a good guy, reasonable mechanic, and wants the best for his customers.
Amazing business. Family friendly, the owner and head tech, Joe, is like a wizard when it comes to cars. The man is a genius. Would highly recommend this shop over any other shop put there to include dealerships. Good solid work and fair price every time. 10/10 would recommend every time.
Great place! quick, honest, straight forward with what you need....spot on diagnose of your vehicle and they give you a honest estimate....will definitely be back for all my major import repairs....
Great people great survice thank you guys for being here for me and my honda.
Every error light possible was lit up on my dash. I took it to Autoworks and Joe hooked it up to diagnostics and it was throwing many error codes. He had the hybrid battery repair guy come take a look at it and diagnosed a few bad cells. Joe suggested getting the battery work done before he did any repairs. Joe did not charge me for his time. After the battery work, if my car is still showing error codes, I will be back for Joe to do his magic. I highly recommend this honest, Christian car repair company. Very trustworthy.
I have been so impressed with the range of knowledge and the deep sense of care at Autoworks. They are a fantastic, family owned business. And if your car is not Japanese, they have a network of professionals so they can point you in the direction of someone you can trust. I recently started having trouble with my Buick and instead of just telling me that they couldnt help - they asked me lots of questions, checked around, and then gave me the number to someone that they knew could help me. I can not recommend this business highly enough. Good people.
Joe knows asian cars like no ones business! Best in OKC that I’ve found so far.
Joe & Sheryl are awesome! They are such honest people and just do great work!
Most importantly, Auto Works cares about their customers and top car performance. I can always count on quick friendly service. I trust Auto Works honest quotes. I prefer to support locally-owned business like Auto Works.
Brought a car in for a presale inspection and it got a thorough going over. Then got an estimate for the little fixes and they were all very reasonable. We have brought the car back for service and occasional check-ups as it belongs to my daughter who goes to school out of state. These folks are reliable, thorough, straight forward, and honest. Cost have always been very well estimated. This is one of the few mechanical repair places I have come to trust implicitly.I only wish they worked on other makes so I could get my other vehicles in!!! Yeah, that good...(As a note, the current website link is in error and points to some shop in California)
Took my sons car here to get a starting problem fixed that another place had failed to accomplish. (Every so often it just wouldnt start for some unknown reason). They had it identified and fixed in no time and at a 1/3 of the price of the other guys that couldnt figure it out. Its been about 10 months now and no problems. I have found my go to auto repair place.
Great service! Affordable, completed in a timely manner definitely recommend!
Great people. From experience the shop is honest with what needs to be done. Knowable, which leads to the correct repairs and not unnecessary work. Price for the work done is great and quick about getting the work done.
Ive been taking all my cars (Japanese ones) to Joe for several years now. Hes extremely honest and doesnt charge for anything unnecessary. The service is quick and dependable and priced right. Im never taking my cars anywhere else.
Best staff and owners! So friendly and trustworthy!
Joe has worked on my Japanese import cars since about 1998. Like everyone else said, he only does whats needed and his price is fair and reasonable. I have a Lexus with 108,000 miles. When I finally get a new car, I will limit myself to looking at only cars Joe works on. Thats how much I depend on him!
Excellent shop! Wonderful service, fairly priced, honest, and very knowledgeable!
If you like paying triple the price for import car repairs and having anxious conversations with stealership techs that are paid commissions for up-selling you unnecessary services, then Autoworks is NOT for you… If you prefer an honest and quality wrench, then you need to throw your business at Joe. Ive trusted this guy with my Subaru Forester for 5+ years now, and every time he fixes the issue at a reasonable price or refers me to the right person. Im very happy with Autoworks and appreciative of Joe and his team!
Finally an auto shop I can trust to do a great job and not over charge or take advantage of me! They are quick, trustworthy, friendly, and consistently do a great job!
No one better for Japanese and Korean automotive work! Honesty and integrity are a must for an auto repair shop, and you get both with Sheryl and Joe!
Joe is one of the few guys in Oklahoma who will work on a rotary, and he charges very reasonable prices. I mean VERY reasonable prices. Youre looking at about half or a third what others charge. Im fortunate to work in a shop so close to Autoworks. And Joes a very nice and knowledgable guy. If hes unable to help you out, hell be sure to relay you to someone else who wont take you for a ride, so to speak. After being hosed by Bob Moore Mazda, Ill pretty much be taking my rotary (or any other import) to Joe solely from this point on.
Been bringing my car here for almost 20 years. Would recommend this place to anyone.
Priced right and there to help, not up sale you.
We have the best loyal customers and do fast quality work that we are proud of.
I took my Honda CRV into the Honda Dealership on broadway and they charged me $160 to look at it and then told me I needed to do about $2000 worth of repairs to get it operational again. I took it to Joe at Autoworks, explained what the dealership said I needed done and he quoted me $900. It gets better. After, he reviewed the whole car, told me how much life was left in my brakes, that the knuckle joint was just a little stuck etc because of lack of use and its running fine now. Charged me $0. Car runs great still and that was 3 months ago. He honest, straight forward and will only do what needs to be done and charge you fair prices especially in Edmond.
Great people always can help with your vehicle
The team at Autoworks are the best at getting you in/out asap and at a good price. I wouldnt go anywhere else.
I have had Joe work on my Lanndcruiser and my 4Rumner. Joe had diagnosed the Landcruiser after two other shops were not able to, Joe fixed it in a time frame that was suitable and the price was fair.
Owner is rude and has poor customer service skills.
Joe is a great mechanic.
