I purchased a cheap set of wheels for my Mini and was told that one of them was bent. However when I brought them to Crimson Wheel Repair, John immediately inspected the wheel on his equipment and showed me it was just the tire that was the issue, not the wheel. I was really impressed with this honesty, most shops would definitely take advantage of a new customer like this and just charge them to repair the wheel. I contacted John about repairing a cracked wheel. He was told me he could repair it but he warned that theres a chance the crack would open up again with a large enough shock. He gave me a few other ideas on what to do, but since I didnt want to buy another wheel and get it powder coated to match I decided to have him do the fix. It took John and his team less than a day to repair the crack and mount the new wheel. The price was very good and the service was professional. Thank you!

John powder coated my silver/alloy rims on my new A5 cab back in 2013, to a graphite grey. Its taken me 7yrs and 80K miles to post this review because today I had to come back and repair a cracked rim from a pothole. His workmanship is quality and long lasting, and his word is authentic. His pricing is very fair, no nonsense will get the job done.

This was honestly the best service that I ever had recently got out of the marine corps and had my car shipped from Hawaii to New Jersey unfortunately I live in New York so when my car finally got here I had to drive over 3 hours just to pick it up approximately (228 miles) when I finally got my car I found out that my passenger front tire was flat I switched it to the spare however couldn’t drive all that way on the spare so I call what must have been 10 different places all with the same excuse “ it will take 3 days to repair and will cost close to 1000$ I had my wife and my dog with me and was worried we were gonna have to sleep in New Jersey for three days just to get my car ready and safe to drive all the way back home but then my wife found these guys and instead of saying all that nonsense he simply said bring it in. So I did he met with me personally looked at the damaged rim and said “yea I can fix it today for 125 the best news I herd all day honestly made my day. When he finished he told me to bring it in the garage where he changed it for free and let my dog meet all his employees which I know Zeus loved. So thank you again for all your help I wish I could do more to promote your business and everything that you did for me thank you again for all your help.

This place is great! I had 3 rims that were damaged by belgian block. I met with the owner John on Monday. I told him I have rim & tire protection from the dealer. We all know how insurance companies can be a headache with filing claims. Especially myself, being a county employee. Without hesitation, John got on the phone to start the process. I also told John that I have a very tight work schedule and would only be able to get the work done on Wednesdays. He told me once he gets approval, he would call me to set up a date. after 2hrs, I received a call from John saying everything was approved and to bring the car Wednesday morning. I dropped the car off and asked how long is the process. He told me the car would be ready by 6pm. I decided to call him around 4pm just to see where he was at and he told me to come on down that by the time I get there the car will be ready. Sure enough it was. Ive been here multiple times and every time I leave my car feels like new again. I live in NJ and potholes are more common than trees here. Its great to have a place like this that can straighten your rims given the state of the roads here ESPECIALLY in the Winter. The best part......its same day service. You can bring your car in with bent rims, read a book in the office while you wait, and leave the same day with them all straightened. The price is beyond good for the work they do. I have zero complaints and will continue to go back time and time again to get that new car feel.

Had a bent rim and was looking for a place to get it fixed and stumbled upon these guys.Very happy with the work and they are affordable and quick! It was very professional, cost $110, and only took 45 mins. Other places were asking for $189 and 48 hours. These guys are great!

Honorable guys. Another shop told me I had a bent wheel and needed to get it fixed. Was losing air and thought it was because of the bent wheel. The guys at crimson told me right away it wasnt the bent part that was causing the air loss, and diagnosed a bad valve stem. Replaced that for me and no more air loss. Very honorable and will be back for any other wheel issues!

I went to Crimson because of the high rating - almost all 5 stars. Well, they earned it! Very honest and friendly. Crimson gave us a price and that was what we paid. No upsell or non-sense. Great work done on time. One tire shop we went to just said to get a new wheel. Another shop wanted 50% more money. Well worth the trip.

Given the fine roads we have here in NJ 😒, and some of the craters we sometimes encounter in our highways, my car picked up a few flat spots on wheels that by design work better when they are round. So I sought out wheel repair near my home and came across John and his shop Crimson Wheel Repair. John got my car in his shop, showed me the damage, fixed everything, and had me out the door in about 2 hours. John is super professional, runs a clean shop, and keeps you informed every step of the way. I didn’t have to think twice to have John perform the work. Oh how I love the sweet roads of NJ :) ----It all started when I hit this horrible crater on the way home from work and my steering wheel instantly started vibrating non-stop. I took my 1999 Toyota pickup truck to Crimson Wheel Repair And Powder Coating to have my rims powder coated in glossy black because they were in deplorable condition. I met with John, the owner, who was extremely professional and he gave me a price for all 4 wheel rims. Went to search online for a good reputable powder coating shop and CWR shows up with 4.8 ratings and 287 good reviews. Call CWR and John answer the phone. Got my wheels re-powder coated due to scratch that STS did to my wheels after they balance it. Lesson learned if you have a wheels that was powder coated and getting a wheel balancing or tire replacement bring it to a professional powder coating shop like CWR. I love my new wheel color “Pearl Black “ John and team are the best. Will post pictures of my wheels soon.

Second time using them. Wife scraped up the wheel on a curbon her Explorer ST and they made the wheel look brand new again. Ill continue to use them whenever I need work on my wheels

Got my rims powder coated here and it completely changed the look of my car. They did a great job.

John was very professional and honest. He told me that I may want to wait until after winter to get my rim scuffs repaired since I may damage it further with snow season just around the corner. But I decided to go ahead with the repair since I just got the vehicle not too long ago and it would bother me to leave it unrepaired. I recommend this place!!!

Took my scratched rim to be repaired. Came out pretty poor, with visible transition between repainted part of the lip an factory finish. Owner said that that’s the “ best they can do”. Would not recomend.

I’m not sure why anyone would go anywhere else. I drop my car off late Wednesday to get 4 wheels powder coated. I’ve already have my car back today. Not only did Crimson powder coat my wheels, they also unmounted, remounted and high speed balanced my wheels. Other spots in NJ won’t do this. They want you to take your car to pep boys and only bring them the wheels!!! John keep up the 1st class service.

As usual John and his crew deliver unrivaled results. Obviously I’m a return customer. My first gig with these guys was on my 2018 Honda Accord with a curbsided rim..... they made it new again. This time around I brought my 340i xdrive in for not only scratch and damage repair but also for a powder coating and with a unique color to add. John has lots of cool colors as I wanted a shade that no one else really had and I got it for sure. Basically a combo of brown purple and gray.... looks sick for sure. And once again I have new rims. Not sure why anyone would bother going anywhere else....????

My friends and I were on our way to Ocean City, MD for vacation when we hit a pothole on the NJ turnpike causing a flat tire and severely bent rim. After putting the donut on, we pulled off the turnpike because we obviously couldnt drive on a donut that far and starting calling auto repair and tire places. We called six places before Crimson and they all said they dont do rims or it would take 5+ hours. When we called Crimson, the man we spoke with was so friendly and helpful on the phone and said he would order it and it would be quick. We took a ten minute drive there. Within the hour, we had a brand new tire and rim for a great price. I always feel uncomfortable at car places especially being someone who isnt all too familiar with cars and prices. Crimson was a completely different experience. I felt like the people there actually care. They were courteous and extremely friendly. I have never been happier or more grateful that they were able to help us in a timely and efficient manner. Thanks again.

The other two places had a range of pricing as well as a range of time. I didnt feel comfortable driving all over on a thin spare. Selected Crimson Wheel because of its impeccable Google reviews and rating. Glad I did!Honest, hard-working guys who get the job completed quickly. They have all of the proper equipment and get you out in a reasonable time.Straight up price and no gimmicks. You get what you pay for.I will use them again to perform powder-coating on my wheels.Shop was very clean and very busy. They know what they are doing and want repeat customers. Excellent customer service. Excellent work. My 535xi has never drove smoother! had 2 bent wheels fixed and one rebalanced. Not one mark on my wheels after taking the tires off. My BMW M235 had the two wheels on the passenger side bent, which was giving me lots of vibrations on the steering wheel. I emailed them and got a reasonable initial quote, and scheduled an appointment to a Saturday morning. The service took about 1 hour and half, and was very professional. After it was done, we went for a test drive to make sure everything was perfect. John is such a nice guy and really care about the quality of the service and personally making sure you are 100% happy with it. Even though I live 35 miles from the shop, I would not trust anywhere else for wheel repair from now on other from these guys.

I was traveling near 70 mph on the highway at night time and didnt realize there was a curb divider (I thought it was paint), I went swiped it against my wheels and went over it. My wheels were all messed up (18 spoke 18 inch Lexus luxury wheels for my IS), these guys fixed them like new. A year later, I hit another curb going around 40 mph and they fixed my wheels again like new. Unfortunately, I dont have the pictures but they looked MINT afterwards at a GREAT price! Thank you!
