This supermarket has a lot of bread options to choose from. The staff is very friendly here. I bought a hot dog bun and it is different from the American way of hot dogs.

Asian specialty food market located on a well traveled highway (Route 1). Bakery and prepared food sections have an extensive reasonably priced variety of items. This store/parking lot is very busy on weekends, so if at all possible shop during the week and preferably in the morning when it is much less crowded.

I love their small pork buns here, they are so cute ☺️

If I do have to say so myself, this store, H Mart, and 99 Ranch are the top Asian stores in this area. I always get my secret ingredient here along with other essentials. Very friendly staff and good selection of items to choose from. Definitely come here if you havent already!

FAKE PRODUCT! I can’t believe I brought two packs of fake instant rise noodles(luosifen) in Kam Man, and paid extra $$ for them! They cost around$5.80 compared to $3.5 online. I don’t care the price as long as they are authentic! but they are not! Horrible! I used to like this supermarket but now I will no longer buy groceries from them! Cuz this shows either there’s a problem with their vendor or the supermarket itself! Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!

Their deli is not expensive and a perfect option for lunch. You get three items with rice and soup for a low price. Not to mention how delicious their deli is. They are also a very good Asian market with all the essential Asian goods. Truly amazing!

I bought ground pork today, 10/16/2021, it is mixed with the expired ground pork, I am very unhappy. It is mixed inside and cant see it from the outside. I see it after at home when I separate it and ready to frozen it. Please see the image, the grey area!It tools me 40 min to get there, so I am no driving back to exchange it. I share with all of you.

Enjoy shopping at Kam Man Food stores in East Hanover and Edison. Both stores offer excellent asian food, fresh fish and fresh exotic vegetables and freshly prepared bakery selection also nice selection of Japanese and other international coffees. 👍👍

A bit small, but has all the essentials of any supermarket. The employees are nice. They have a food/cafe section at the entrance which is pretty cool.

Really like Kam Man before, they have good selection of vegetable, seafood and frozen Chinese food. Yesterday we came to Kam Man to do the first grocery shopping in 2021. Sadly, we got MOULDY rice dumplings... I didnt pay attention when I took it since I really trust Kam Man. But this morning when I tried to open it I found out the surface is disgusting... Probably wont go back again, grocery store shouldnt allow such thing happen..

To be the first time I go, I really like the variety of products at the same time all the local Products. I really enjoy my Fish today.

They have really fresh fish. It is still alive and swimming in tanks. The chicken/duck looked good with that crispy golden brown skin. I will come back to try it soon.

Kam Man never fails to wow me. It kept improving over the years as number of Asian supermarket in Edison increased.Bakery and hot food departments are my favorite. Prices are so reasonable I wish I could bring all of them home with me! So yummy and such a reasonable price!Its better to eat at Kam Man than to any restaurant in Edison! I strongly recommend!

One of the smallest of the Chinese supermarket with limited selections. Half a mile down on route 1 is ranch 99, which is much bigger with more varieties. A mile up rout 1 is Lotte Korean supermarket, which sells similar stuff with much better prices. I do come here occasionally for the meat and roast duck. Other stuff in particular vegatables are quite more expensive unless on sale.

Shout out to Gracie! I was googling a specific brand of spice bake mix (which is no longer available in CO), Kam Man was the first of results. The website only has local pick-up option, so I called the store in hope they would ship it to Colorado. Gracie not only answered my call quickly and professionally, but also able to complete my order by email follow up within 2 hrs. Gracie rocks!

Great stop for all goods related to Asian-eating. There is also a small section with other types of cuisine. The produce was fresh, and the butcher / fish areas were clean and fresh smelling. The check-out staff were quick and efficient. Will go again when Im in the area.

Very good Asian shop which sells live fish and other items. Cooked items are also sold but one need to have the taste for that. Fresh vegetable are also good along with fruits. A very healthy place to shop for your week long lunch and dinner. But the Asian shop in Piscataway is way better and elaborate on the meat section.

Its honestly just okay. Family went grocery shopping we saw a RAT Im the box of cabbages. Whatever, I buy packaged food here anyways. Prices are decently comparable to 99 Ranch, sometimes more, but store is less clean, less variety compared.

I love that I can get authentic Chinese food in a hurry. My kids love when I go Sunday morning for dim sum.The staff isnt always overly friendly, but I think that may be part of the charm.I really like this store!

Good store. They have a wide variety of products, primarily food. In the past we have bought trinkets and other souvenirs, but that might have changed to be less available. Plenty of staff on hand in case you need to look for a specific item. When we were there, middle of the day, it was not too crowded.

I generally shop here for already cooked and snacks and bubble tea which five stars for all that! They do have a pretty large produce area but Im not sure what a lot of it is. Theres always cars here so thats a sign of a good business

Great place to shop right now. Even during COVID, there is definitely plenty of space for all customers to social distance. The food selection is still great and the Asian snacks are always being updated. The bakery here is superb and has a variety of breakfast items. Meat, especially seafood here, is always fresh. This place has a great variety of products and staff are always friendly to help.

Great selection of vegetables and overall Asian food. Prices are comparable to 99 ranch down the street. Has that typical “smelly Asian grocery store” feel but I love it. Would definitely recommend especially after a trip to gongcha next door for your Asian grocery needs.

Asian, chinese grocery store. Quite well stocked. The various chinese vegetables such as many types bak choy, chinese celery, daikon radishes and a variety of exotic fruits. Staff is generally helpful. There is section for live seafood. As big and well stocked this store might be, it is still a smaller version of the one in lower Manhattan. The Manhattan store is considered an NYC landmark.

Live frogs in the bucket ready to be fried lol. Wide selection of fish, lotus nuts etc. Have to try their prepared food. So today I left with pig and fish instead of live frogs and eels or bird nest.

Its not as big as other Asian supermarkets, but it provides a nice selection of Cantonese/Hong Kong BBQ daily.

Compared to Hmart and 99 Ranch, Kam Man has a lot less produce. Where Kam Man beats the other 2 during Covid is that they still offer fresh bakery items and cooked meats like BBQ pork, roast duck, crispy pork, and soy sauce chicken.Generally it seems like the customers who shop here dont social distance as well compared to customers at other stores.

Well organized, clean. I like the coconut buns, breads at bakery. I can find quite a numbers of Asian spices there, fresh and live fishes, vegetables. Nice!

Conveniently located on US Hwy 1, they have ample parking and handicap access. Fresh cooked roast port, roast duck, buns and other items were really good. Vegetables, fruits, meats, fish and seafood were fresh too. Place was relatively clean. Checkout was fast.

We have been patrons of this store for over 15 years. They have recently expanded their prepared foods which is located at the front of the store. If you are looking for authentic, Asian items, this is definitely an alternative to HMart.

Conveniently located on Rt 1 in Edison, its an amazing place for asian grocery and food items. They have live crabs, lobster, tilapia and other fishes. If you are looking for live frogs, they have it too..!

Wonderful store, not too crowded.. the sugarsnap peas are sweet and a great price on a big box of persimmons.

Everything is available.. even few Indian vegitables and fruits you can buy it. We bought golden pampano fish.. loved really..!!

My favorite New Jersey grocery store. So much selection of Chinese food items with fresh produce, friendly staff and now, an outstanding, expanded prepared foods area with a hot foods counter, bakery and roast meat section. I love the scallion chicken!

This store has many stocks of various Asian food. I especially enjoy their precooked Chinese food for a quick family dinner and their bakery items for dessert.

Very disappointed for a second time. Was charged $7.99 for a bag of fresh garlic. The receipt says peeled garlic.. This is being sold for $1.99 to $2.49 per bag in other Asian stores. I dont want to go back to Kamman just to return especially with this pandemic but cashier has to be careful. about what they punched in the receipt....second time this happened to me..Not Good!!!

Kam Man is the best Asian supermarket in New Jersey, perhaps even all of the United States.First of all, you can find any Asian related products here. Yes, I said products, not just food. There is even a section in the supermarket for hot foods, almost like a restaurant within a supermarket situation. If, for some reason, the thing you are looking for is not in the store, which, again, almost not possible, Kam Mans popularity has built a whole Asian community of stores around the supermarket. From bubble tea to hair salons, you can get all of your Asian needs in this Kam Man community.I personally found all the instant ramen I needed when I shopped here. I was also able to find some Asian sweets that I could not find elsewhere.Speaking of community, the staff that works at Kam Man are exceptional. Kam Man does not have a group of staff; they have a family of staff. This is a reflection of the olden days when shopping at markets is a personal or relational affair where merchants and customers know each other by name.There really is no reason to shop elsewhere if you are looking for Asian goods.

Everything is pretty package now. I.e. meets, bbq, dim sum. But besides that I still like the place .

This Kam Man is good, but the one in Livingston is way better.This one doesnt have as plenty as hot food options as the one in Livingston, also it seems that theres more grocery options at the Livingston location, although this one in Edison has a nicer bakery with a much bigger selection.For a variety of hot ready to eat foods and a larger grocery selection go to the Kam Man in Livingston, but for a more varied bakery selection then come here to the Edison locale.

After Ranch Supermarket was build I stopped going because is farther and has less selection. This is a small place where you can find deals. Nonetheless, Kam Man is still has a great atmosphere and I always order fresh fruit cakes for my childrens birthday.

Great Asian market, if you are Asian here is good place to go and shop for Asian local food. If you want organic and high end stuff, then whole food should be choice. So I would suggest if you got plenty time, and you are Asian, come here for whatever you cannot find in whole food or Trader Joe’s. But you probably don’t want to buy all your grocery here considering the quality of compared with whole food. But it has clear market target people group, so good places compared with other Asian markets.

Competition from the West Coast chain located one mile away really saw this market and food court step up on appearance and cleanliness. Now there is no need to put up with NYC Chinatown conditions for good food!

A go-to Chinese grocer. Lots of variety. Good hot food choices and nice bakery. Average vegetable choices. The seafood section is so-so. It needs to keep up with the competitions.

They thought that giving me a new box of the same product was gonna solve the problem.
