This is our third truck with Bert Ogden and we are completely satisfied. Theyre a great team that has never let us down and been with us every step of the way. Mario Caballero has always been our salesman and does a great job getting us just what we want and need. We hope to be back next year 👍.

I need communication. The repair was done and Im absolutely satisfied with that. The communication part, though, was not so good. When I call and leave a message to call me back, I am not calling just to be talking with someone. There is a definite purpose for my call. Because my messages were ignored, I could not give a 10 rating. I am not certain who dropped the ball, because when I did finally reach someone, they said they could not see a message anywhere, but if it is the sales department that is not forwarding messages, that, too, is not what should happen. I will probably not be in the market for another vehicle for a while, but will definitely have to consider more than just Bert Ogden when that time arrives.

Made an appointment on the 18th to service vehicle in September due to vehicle jerking when pushing on gas. Upon driving an hour to get to appointment, I was advised to come back Monday due to service techs for that issue my vehicle was having were not in. I returned on Monday to leave my vehicle early in the morning to be told vehicle did not recreate issue which is fine, but I had to follow up with them mid day since I never received a call for what appeared to be a simple review. Even when I walked in to first leave vehicle the person behind counter seemed bothered and inattentive. Really disappointing with this type of service that I have never received from Bert Ogden prior.

Bad Sales Department. I’ve been helping my father in law look for a truck. Since we live in Brownsville, before I drove out there. I called and asked over the phone if they could work with his budget for a specific truck. They said yes so I drove out there, and they didn’t work with his budget like I was told. The price they offered me was 7k over budget and they would not lower it. Mind you, I had been out there the day before and was told a completely different lower price, about 7k under the price they currently have it for online. Not only was I lied to just to get us out there, but by the changes in price I was given, makes me believe they’re currently overpricing trucks by about 7k to 10k. Beware buying from these people.

Just went to the dealership to get an Out The Door price on a 2019 GMC. The truck is listed at 67k. I wanted an itemized worksheet for the vehicle. The sales guy, Josue, wanted me to enter the dealership. I said i was on my lunch break and just wanted the paper. After some persuasive talk, he brought one (a paper) the paper had no vehicle information but did have some numbers. It was a simple task that was given to him. He can not follow simple instructions. I laughed and asked him to get the information on the truck on the paper. He picks up his phone and said, (look.) Showing me the website. I told him put it in black and white. I dont like playing games. Im a serious buyer. His job is to provide me what i want. What i asked for was well within reason. Josue. You need another type of work. You give dealerships a bad name, sir. Bert Ogden dealership. He just allowed a 67K customer leave unhappy. 6 hours later and still no response from Bert Ogden dealership.

I took my truck that I bought 3 months ago and when I call to get an update I get hanged up on 3 times. Awful customer service. Truck is at the shop again. No loaner, stuck without vehicle or solution. Now I have a past due bill from GM financial when I have my vehicle in automatic payment every two weeks. I have $120 in late fees and I cant talk to anybody to help me fix this. They set up the contract and they cant fix this.One month later my truck has been in the dealer 3 weeks now and nobody doing anything to help. How disappointing!

They offer the first oil change free. I guess because its free they dont update you when its ready. They also offer a free car wash for free when its a former customer dont accept it people because you will wait forever to have it done. By the way they did an awful job. I guess because this services were free they didnt care if they took forever to do them. We have bought 2 vehicles from this dealership twice and from the one in mission, Harlingen, and fiesta. This has the worst service ever. The guy at service counter his excuse was he doesnt deal with the carwash service. I asked to speak to the manager he never returned my call. Good service starts at the top thats why they dont have it at this dealership. Their manager doesnt return customers calls. I dont even want to give them any stars at all. They deserve none at all!! Their service department, car wash department, and lube department are the worst ever!!!

Spent 2 days looking into a vehicle that was posted online. Test drove it, and gave out my info to the salesman. Missed a day of work, went in, and salesman disappeared! The worst part of it was that the price was wrong, they came and told us the price was $13,000 over the posted price. Manager Dario didnt honor the online price we saw. He was extra rude by saying ironically if the salesman was going to pay the difference. All he said was the typical Im sorry. Yeah that doesnt fix anything!! We had proof of the posted online price. What a coincidence that the vehicle information was all true and correct except the price. Worst experience ever!!!!

I took in my vehicle at 8:00 a.m. and it was viewed until 5:00 p.m. and was told that nothing was wrong with the vehicle but I could leave it over the weekend to continue the checking. My vehicle was not properly checked because if that were the case then they would have told me that the tires on the vehicle have to be replaced and a tune up is needed. I had never had a bad experience at Bert Ogden like I did that day.

Im not going to write all the details, but lets put it this way. I bought a Gmc Yukon Denali, but almost walked outta there empty handed, due to a so called manager Rene.I dont like lies nor want to be treated as I was ignorant and dont know to put together a car deal.Very disappointed with this experience. After signing the contract and waiting for this vehicle for 2 weeks, I thought they would be more careful and treat me right, instead I was dealing with mess.Will not hapien again. I rather go somewhere else or even drive to San Antonio.

I met with Ralph Ortiz, he is a great salesman in that he is honest about the process and is a great listener. He listens to what you want and adjusts his method to give you a result that is satisfactory to you. Bert Ogden was the best out of the 3 dealerships we went to. Best deals, best approach to sales, honesty and transparency. Other dealerships pushed more services. Higher interests and were stubborn to sell according to their own interests. Great experience. Im very disappointed with the Bert Ogden dealership. Ive taken my truck 3 times in for a damaged weather strip that they havent resolve. They keep on telling me that there Auto parts Department ordered the wrong one. I would understand one time but this is going to be my fourth time taking my truck in with same issue. I think they need new personnel in there Auto parts Department.

The problem is Homero Pineda. Very poor customer service, negative and not friendly. Never contacted me, ever. I had to keep calling him. Didnt have a my vehicle for 5 days, no rental, no status on progress. Lied about when my vehicle was going to get started on. I contacted Chris H. and he took care of it in 15 minutes. My car was ready in 1 hour. A simple repair. Homero wanted me to wait for technician to put in a motor on another vehicle that tech was having trouble with. He has no compassion on customers. From the start when I walked in, never acknowledged my presence and when I handed him the keys he immediately started with I do not have loaners or rentals and your car might not get started on right away. I had got no options. Like could you bring your car next week since we dont have rentals or loaners. I needed someone to bring me home. Didnt even tell me when I was going to get a ride or even where to wait until I had a ride available. Had I read the reviews on the shop, I would have never taken my car there. Im not the only one with the same situation.

Ive purchased over 15 cars in my lifetime and also overseas but this was the worst. I felt taken advantage of and ripped off. First contact was alright until the appraisal for our 2021 KIA Soul GT-Line (10000 miles and only 9 months old) was initially $16000 and was able to increase to $17000. The price of the 2021 GMC 2500HD Denali was discounted from $88000 to $86000. We were approved for finance with Chase up to $80000. Our credit scores of almost 800 were used against us to increase the price/markup. I spoke with Diego on Friday 23 July and he would not budge on the $86K with a in-house $2500 protection plan. If I removed it then the price of the vehicle would be $90000. Ridiculous! Not was the VIN discussed or provided in two text messages with pictures of the finance cut-sheet. Then we I showed up at the dealership from Austin (325 miles away) to pickup my 2021 BLACK 2500 did Ms. Salazar drive up with a 2021 WHITE 2500. I was shocked and ticked off. I informed her to go get her manager to discuss this. Diego only offered to provide an extra $500 to the trade-in which would be $17500 now. Ms. Salazar also provided 2 license plate covers. The loan paperwork was handled satisfactory.I went home feeling very ticked off that the MSRP was $80000 and $83000 would have been alright for the black but it was white. Bert Ogden is very deceptive and not transparent. I submitted twice my information on there website to have their owner and GM contact me. One week later nothing. So I contacted GMC chat on your website and filed a formal complaint. Lastly, know I paid $22500 for the KIA last year, the trade-in should have been around $19000 so I decided to use Bert and a alias to conduct some research. I acted as if I was interested in purchasing a new vehicle from Bert Ogden and trade-in my 2021 KIA again. Interesting the value from their website stated $18000 to $19500 and then I received an email from Delilah Fuentes offering $1500 added to the $19500 trade-in of the KIA. This disgusted me further. I dont consider this matter closed and want to discuss this with the dealership GM.My options are to file a formal complaint to the Brownsville BBB and use social platforms Google, Facebook, Yelp, etc. to further comment and discuss the dishonest activities of Bert Odgen GMC. After viewing their selection of GMC Canyons online I made this purchase through their online financing portal.Many thanks to Jazmine Solis internet sales for answering questions on their website application.I promptly received a phone call from Steve Mayor about my selection and set up an appointment to test drive and finalize the purchase.Upon arriving at Bert Ogden I was graciously met by Steve Mayor and taken to my selected Canyon for a look at its features and test drive. After my test drive I was ready to proceed with the purchase and Steve was very helpful answering questions about the Canyon during the test drive and financing.Eddie Rincon the finance manager had all of the paper work ready for my signature and finalized the deal.I ran into a snag as I had driven their alone in my wifes vehicle. I had no way to get my new Canyon and her vehicle home at the same time. Steve graciously offered to drive my vehicle to my home. They’ve even made accommodations to make the vehicle exactly what I want without hesitation (upgraded to leather). They didn’t pressure me or finagle numbers like other dealerships did.. Absolutely horrible service, vehicle pricing, and staff. I went in there January of 2021 to purchase a vehicle. The sales person just wanted to make a quick buck and had no knowledge about cars at all. I was looking into a used sports car (corvette). He had no idea on any of my questions that I had asked. That was immediately the biggest turn off in purchasing from here. The cars they sell here are overpriced. Don’t expect the staff to know anything about a car. All they want to do is make a quick dollar and move on. They are working here for a reason people. Beware of their lack of education.

Very bad service department. Never call you back,then they tell you that they will get parts in a specific day for youre vehicle when its not true. My truck has been there for 15 days for a radio and a transmission calibration. Very bad service nothing compared with Payne from Weslaco or Burns Motors from McAllen.

I leased the vehicle on a Tuesday and picked up my vehicle on Friday. The dealer had no power and water for a couple of days due to the hard freeze (weather). Had to provide my own fill up of gas. The salesperson will provide vouchers to reimburse me.
