Went there for a new tire in 2017/2018 as a newly divorced single mom with 2 young babies and one had 57 bucks to my name. I remember asking them to do anything they could to patch mt tire cause I could only afford 50 bucks but it turned out the tire had popped and was not salvageable at all. I was super anxious and nervous cause I had to get my kids from the baby sitters soon and no money til next paycheck. The manager here gave me a free 300 dollar tire and wouldnt take no for an answer when I told him I couldnt afford that but I was thankful he offered. I was gonna call my dad or someone to come tow my vehicle instead. But thankfully I was on my way super fast and so extremely thankful. Ill never forgot that. Im going to buy all 4 new tires soon now that I can afford it and Never going anywhere else. They are wonderful. 🙏❤🤗

This store has excellent customer service and location. Located at Canton Road and 281 Expressway.(69c). Very polite techs and salespeople. Always greet customers and check on customers to see how they can help. Like that Discount Tire has free air check, tire rotation, and warranty on Tire damage.( With certain limited time and criteria for damage tires or wheels). Several locations make it convenient for you to stop & service vehicle.

Ok had them do warranty on a tire they said it was good but based on the appearance I still think should have been replaced.

Badass customer service says it all. Clearly this place was busy but they did what they could to keep the wait times low. One of the employees, Ray, went above and beyond to recommend tire sizes and types for my vehicle. Will definitely be back to this location.

Rick went above and beyond to thoroughly explain everything to us. Bought a new pair of tires at the best prices around. Also brought my own sensor that they installed at no extra cost. Purchased an additional sensor here for another tire and they also didnt charge for installation. Tossed my old tire and waived the cost. Had the best experience. Way to treat their customers and build rapport. Will be back. Highly recommend them!

Very helpful staff here. Just be aware of small repairs on your vehicle that are suggested. You can say No, when they say you need something else fixed on your car. I can buy a part at an auto parts store for way cheaper and take it to our family mechanic and spend way less than here. That being said, the service was very fast, price for four new tires comparable to other big tire stores, and the young men at the front end are very talkative and polite.

Had bought a tire then 28 days later went flat because of a screw. Took vehicle in with tire they fixed it at no cost. They would have replaced at no cost if they county fix it.Eddie was really nice and the guy who fixed my tire was extremely friendly. I would hire them. I’ll break down the review into three sections:  Service/Staff, Workmanship, and MiscellaneousSERVICE/STAFFI’ve been to this location three times and all three times have been very pleasant. The staff is friendly, explain things thoroughly, and offer suggestions based on my interest and not the interest of the store. I’ve gone for tire replacements, new tires, and new wheels and I was helped by a different staff member all three times – and all three of them were very polite and helpful. I am very grateful and always recommend this place to all my friends.WORKMANSHIPLike I mentioned before, I’ve been to this location three times and all three times the workmanship was on point. I also highly appreciate the fact that this shop uses a torque wrench to tighten the lug nuts. That’s the thing a lot of people don’t know about tires and their lug nuts:  if you overtighten a lug nut (usually happens when the shop uses the air gun to tighten the lug nuts in place), it can cause a number of issues, one of which is that the lug will break off the next time you try to remove the tire. Most of the time, in order to fix a broken lug you have to…well, I’ll save you the details but all in all it’ll hit your bank account. An unnecessary expense all because the tire shop wanted to save a few seconds and used the air gun instead of a torque wrench. Now, what a torque wrench does is it stops the technician from overtightening the lug nut. All cars have a certain specification of how much to tighten a lug nut, so the tech inputs this setting into the torque wrench and bam, the customer drives away happily with properly torqued lug nuts. Discount Tire Co, THANK YOU for doing this. I sat by the bar and watched the techs work on four different vehicles and the torque wrench was used on all four vehicles.MISCELLANEOUSSomething I wanted to point out about Discount Tire is that their warranty is definitely a leg up above a lot of other tire shops – including Sam’s and Costco. Sure, those other shops might have a better deal on the tires by a few dollars, but DT’s warranty is what keeps me coming back. What’s the difference, you ask? Well, I called Costco and asked them to break down their warranty and in a nutshell, their warranty covers factory defects but it does not cover road hazards. Now, road hazards can be many but the most common one I believe is the damn nail that stabs into the edge of the tire and now the tire can’t be patched/repaired. In this case, you have to replace the tire. Now, Costco’s warranty states that you can BUY a new tire and have the remaining tread/mileage of the current tire prorated to the new tire, meaning basically that if your tire cost $100 and you’ve used half of the tire’s life, you’ll be credited $50 towards the new tire. Sure, that sounds lovely if the tire is towards the new side of the spectrum. But what if you’ve used up 90% of the tire? You’ll only be credited $10 towards the new tire. Not so nice anymore, huh? HOWEVER, with DT’s warranty, it doesn’t matter what the life is of your tire – if you have the warranty, your tire gets swapped out for a new one. That’s it. That simple. No calculations, no nothing. Oh, and you get the opportunity to purchase the warranty for the new tire, too (last time I did this, it was about $18 for the warranty). It’s BY FAR the best warranty I’ve come across for tires. I know this all sounds like a paid advertisement but it’s not. I just happen to be a really really really big fan of Discount Tire.Oh, and also, I’d recommend making an appointment for your new tires, wheels, etc. They accept walk-ins but that means that you’re second to whoever had an appointment. To the lady that walked in fuming about why my car was brought in first when she had shown up before me – sorry! I had made an appointment. But hey, we both walked out at the same time!

Great service until they pulled a fast one. Don’t expect employees to own up to damages to your vehicle. Inspect before you leave the lot. It’s your word against theirs, especially since they have no cameras. Integrity and honesty doesn’t exist with certain members of management or technicians.

I had to make a 5 hour trip to Austin when I discovered a very large bulge in the side wall of my tire. Eddie G and Cary were able to get me the tires I wanted, which werent even in stock, delivered to the store and installed in just 2 and a half hours. Cary was so friendly and helpful, he was waiting for me at the store when I arrived and even knew my name. Overall, my experience at discount tired today with Eddie and Cary couldnt have been any better! This is a great location with great staff.

Always excellent customer service here! 10mins left to closing and they were still happy to check my tires. They have a free Air Check station as well. A tech will put air and verify if you have any nails, screws, etc. I highly recommend this location to my friends and family!

These guys are so amazing....they stayed open after hours after I called them that I had had a blow out coming into the valley. Eric and Eddie were so friendly and helpful. They took care of us immediately and we were back on the road in a short time. Cant thank them enough they saved my evening.

Friendly environment the reason for the 2star was that I ordered a tire Friday to arrive Monday didnt get a call so called Tuesday I got the excuse that they had the wrong number for me but my receipt clearly shows he entered the correct one. Also when I called I was leaving home asked about the tire he said itll be ready when you get here and it wasnt still had to wait

This is a new location, so the employees are still working out some Kinks. Some tires were not in stock, not to the degree that most Discount Tires have offered in my prior experience. Nevertheless, I have been a loyal Discount Tire customer for many years and many vehicles with nothing but good things to say. Its nice to have a location that will be less busy and more centrally located to Major thoroughfares.

*RUNNING A TPMS SENSOR SCAM* *STAY AWAY.*Took the van here to have two tires replaced. Had 3 kids with me and only 2 or 3 customers ahead of me. We ended up waiting about 2 hours to get out. They fiddle too much with the mechanics. All they should do is mount and remove tires and thats it. They ended up messing with something they shouldnt have touched and screwed up a TPMS sensor. I know now they did it on purpose but Ill get to that. 10 miles away my TPMS light came on. I called and told them about it but I was driving 1,500 miles away. A man apologized in a fake tone. Two weeks later I am here making them fix it under warranty because it was fine before I came. I called the regional office in Schertz, Tx first to ensure I wouldnt be made to wait again.So sitting in the office waiting for the fix, I am right next to the register and I overhear 3 CUSTOMERS come in talking to a salesman about the EXACT SAME TPMS problem I had. Except they are passive about it, and the salesman are telling them that the sensor battery needs replacing for $20, or the sensor needs to be replaced. They are saying the life of the tire pressure sensor is 7 years and it is normal that they stop working after a tire gets changed. I cannot believe the audacity of these people- to take advantage of passive customers right next to me. Who they are taking care of for free because I was firm and I called regional to complain. This is not a normal occurrence this is a scam they are running to squeeze more money out of their customers. If you ask me theyre already charging too much service fee for each tire. They charge $20 labor fee for each tire they move.Somebody needs to call the Better Business Bureau on these people but I dont have time.

Theyre going to replace the new wheels due to peeling. Two weeks ago they ordered them. Today went by since they never called with an update or status. Only to find out nobody knows anything about the status of the wheels.

Have used this place for years now. Always treated well and given good deals when available. Take advantage of their repair/replacement cetificates. If you get a flat that is unfixable they will replace your tire. Free balance, rotation, and air whenever you stop by. Good stuff.
