We went to the store with a mattress in mind, ended up purchasing something different. Pari was the sales women helping us. She was VERY helpful, able to answer all the questions I had, gave some personal opinions and professional opinions, and was not overbearing or pushy. She let us be on our own when we were testing the mattresses (which is what we prefer) and checked in on us as needed. We are excited to get our new mattress and pleased with the experience.

This is a really cool concept! They basically have a ton of the online mattresses for you to try in store so you know the differences and feel before making a decision. The employees were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. They even get you a discount if you buy from them instead of the mattress website. They dont pressure to buy anything while youre there and its a really great place to go if youre in the market for a new mattress!Make sure to check their website ahead of time though. Right now, they are requiring appointments and masks, so come prepared!

We had done a lot of research on beds on line and were able to go in and check out many of the ones we thought we would like.We did buy a bed thru them and got an additional discount above the coupons offered on line.They arent on commission so no one bed was pushed over another.They were very knowledgeable on the different mattresses.They are still following some Covid protocols so call first to see if you need an appointment.

This place is great! I had my mind focused on a certain online brand, but once I had the opportunity to lay on it at Sleep Sherpa, I realized it was NOT for me. I then tried out all the other mattresses they had and found the perfect one for me. The staff was super helpful, low-pressure, and found the best deal on the mattress I chose. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. No rush and no pressure. Staff, Pari, was knowledgeable of all mattress types. I informed her that I am a back, stomach, side sleeper. She directed me in the right direction and explained each choice. I narrowed my choices to two beds. I informed her that I still needed to go to Mattress Firm and also think about the two beds I tried there; again I felt no pressure. My experience was the opposite at Mattress Firm. We checked the website to get directions and any other pertinent information. When we arrived we were rudely stopped at the door and told admittance was by appointment only. Not so according to website. And it wasnt a short drive.

We appreciated the seriousness of keeping customers safe by having appointments only at the store to ensure physical distancing can be followed. They also provided lovely smelling hand sanitizer spray for hands and a soft bed sheet to use while trying out the beds. Terrible experience. The sales person was more into Facebook than making a sale. They only had 8 different brands. When we asked questions about a particular bed the only real response we got was its more eco friendly. She didnt ask if we are side sleepers or what firmness we liked. When making our appointment we had to give a list of beds we wanted to try. When we got there, none of those were there. The list had popular beds like Casper, helix and dreamcloud but none of those were in the store.

Great place to test out mattresses. If I went off the top 10 online best mattresses to buy a mattress I would have bought the wrong one. The sales lady was really informative and helpful. I couldnt believe how uncomfortable the top rated online mattresses where for me. I am so happy that there is a place where I can try them out before I bought one.

I got my first Nectar mattress here years ago and I love it. I recently ended up getting rid of another old mattress and decided to go back to this store for a memory foam mattress for my niece. I read that small children are not allowed in the showroom but I contacted the company ahead of time and asked if it was ok that I bring my 11 year old niece to try out beds. I was told it was ok.I show up with my niece at my scheduled time and was told she wasn’t allowed. I mentioned that I had email confirmation that it was ok. After being grilled for who did I talk to and when did I talk to them, my niece was finally allowed to try out beds. I should’ve just up and left after that ordeal. The problems didn’t stop there.We were going to go the Nectar route again and Jessica mentioned that they had a Nectar mattress in the back where the corners didn’t inflate but the rest of the mattress was fine. She was willing to cut me a deal. I wasn’t able to see it but was sent pictures. I was told I would still get the Nectar mattress protector and pillows.They said they could deliver by the end of this week and they would contact me on a delivery day. Days go by and I hear nothing so I contact them and they said they could deliver next day from 10-2. I said I would be home from work between 3:30-3:45. I’m on my way home from work and get a call at 3:20 from a guy saying he’s waiting for me. I said I told Jessica I wouldn’t be home till after 3:30. He said he didn’t know that. Zero communication. I get the mattress and the pillows and mattress protector. Open the mattress and realize the entire bed didn’t even fill up. It wasn’t just the corners that were affected, it’s the entire bed. The manufactured slip cover is so loose around the entire bed. I was led to believe that just the corners were affected. Clearly, they just wanted their money.I then go to open the box of pillows which I thought was strangely light because I know the Nectar pillows to be quite heavy and lengthy. Well they are not Nectar, there was a Resident tag on them. She claimed that Resident is the Nectar brand and that they were brand new. Yea, not wrapped at all for protection and the pillows are dirty. The mattress pad is not Nectar either. Some off brand to fit a mattress up to 18 inches in depth! The Nectar mattress is 11 inches! Again, no communication that I was getting non Nectar pillows and a mattress pad.I assumed I would still get the same great service as before but this was clearly not the case this time around. I will never be back to this store in the future due to their horrible customer service, lack of communication and being given the third degree since I walked through their door.Their way of trying to rectify the situation and maintain a customer: they can pick up the mattress and I can just buy the Nectar at full price. That just reiterated the reason I will never give them my business in the future.

I thought the store process was great, but everything completely fell through after I ordered my mattress. My boyfriend and I went in and both ordered the same mattress. We were told it usually takes 2-3 days to receive. He got his 2 days later. After a week and a half I call the maker of the mattress to follow up. They said the store should already have it for me to pick up. I called the store, and they have no idea where the mattress is. I called the mattress company the next day, and they said there was a miscommunication between the store and that my mattress would be finished in their next production run. I ended up canceling the mattress, which was very disappointing because I loved the bed. I just can’t in good faith reward people with my business when they fail to provide good service.

Made an appointment and drove down to Edina. Was told by person at to remove shoe which is fine. My issue is I had surgery on one foot and has a protective partial shoe on it that cannot be removed if I am on my foot. She would not let us in. Was prepared to spend 2000 to 5000 on a bed and adjustable base. Your loss. There must be an ada law against this.

I was nervous about buying a mattress online without being able to physically touch one, but this allowed me to try out most brands that we were interested in. We loved the shopping experience at Sleep Sherpa, no pressure sales, that gives you a chance to make a great choice in a new bed. We shopped at other places that put on the sales pressure and tried to push us into a more expensive bed, but we went back to Sleep Sherpa. We bought the bed that fit us best with help from Pari and I want to thank Jessica that helped with the quick turn around on delivery because of that we only have to sleep on our broken down sleep number bed one more night. If they tell you that there is a 100-night full refund return policy for your new bed, dont believe them! I didnt expect to have to return the bed but when I needed to, I was told that policy was only for the mattress which is not what we were told prior to the purchase. A bed is the full piece of furniture, however many pieces included. After calling and calling for a week when the manager repeatedly wasnt available, then she delayed by days with no explanation, and she was the only one allowed to talk to me about this, they eventually took back the frame for a 70% refund without explanation of that amount. The manager was condescending from our first call to the last interaction. This is not a cheap purchase; it was a major loss and a major stressor for my family.Sleep Sherpa had very bad customer service throughout our experience. I would actively discourage anyone from shopping there.Update 2 weeks later: the owner refunded the rest of the cost after I complained on the website and here in the Google review. He has promised to put up signage about their return policy to set clearer expectations with customers in the future. It doesnt make up for the condescension or stress but its only fair to upgrade their rating from my original 1 star.

This place was so helpful, we went with a Nest hybrid latex mattress, the salesperson was so amazingly helpful. She answered all our questions and we were glad to be able to try out the mattresses in person, we ended up going with a different mattress than we thought we were going in. This is a great concept for a store, they’re not affiliated with the companies, so they’re not really invested in pushing their sales in any direction. If I’m not mistaken, they make their money by using affiliate codes, (also known as referral codes), which is how most online retailers advertise more and more these days- using these codes they give out a discount to the customer and a small credit to the person who referred you, in this case Sleep Sherpa.

This shop was a little out of the way in the backroads of Edina but, once we found it, we were very happy. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable but not pushy. They have a large mattress selection to test out. This store is great! A brilliant idea. NOT handicapped accessible- a wheelchair or Walker would be difficult getting around the store.

Boyfriend and I had a terrible experience at other mattress stores; pressured into buying, being sold on one mattress that we tried once, and appalling markup prices on mattresses.Sleep Sherpa does none of this. Theyre super helpful and dont work on commission, so theyre not constantly nagging you to buy or pick a mattress. They have a large selection of online brand mattresses that youll likely not get to try anywhere else before committing to it. They help you find the firmness you like and recommend you beds based in your preference, but DONT pressure you to buy the bed you like.This was the best mattress buying experience Ive ever had, and I highly recommend shopping here for your mattress instead of at a competing big box store!

My wife and I really loved our experience here! We were interested in an online style mattress because of the low cost for a good quality mattress, but as with most were overwhelmed with how many choices there were. Thankfully Sleep Sherpa was local and we were able to try them out. We ended up going with a King size Nectar Mattress, and not only was it available to take home that day but they had a better price due to being affiliates than going directly through Nectar. The guys working were very easygoing, told us what we needed to know and let us try out the mattresses on our own. When we decided, they even loaded it up for us and sent us on our way. We now recommend Sleep Sherpa to any friends looking for a new mattress.

I spoke with Ben over the phone but I work with Kashi, both of the guys were super helpful, low-key and very well informed. I had done my research ahead of time but these guys knew more! I was able to find a mattress I loved within minutes because of their awesome selection, which apparently is always changing and you should call ahead of time to see if they have a certain mattress youre looking for thats not listed on their website. I would strongly recommend checking this place out if you are interested in buying a full mattress but are a little confused about which one to get.

Sleep Sherpa Mattress Showroom is fantastic. Ben and his staff were friendly and extremely helpful and informative. We tried twelve different online mattresses (more are planned), each accompanied by a take-away summary card including pricing and discounts. No pressure, no rush. Some high quality pillows are available for purchase in store, but everything else is online.

Went in here looking to try out the various online mattress companies products. The staff greeted us and were very helpful. They arent like other mattress and furniture stores where you get a pushy sales person trying to lead you around the store the various products and constantly bugging you. They let us browse on our own and ask questions as needed without hovering over us. The store has a pretty good selection and it was a great experience. We saved a ton of money compared to buying from a traditional mattress store and found a mattress we liked a lot. Great thing is most of the mattress manufacturers offer trial periods of around 100 days so were happy knowing if we dont end up sleeping well on the one we picked out we can get refunded and try out a different one without wasting a penny. Definitely recommend this place to friends and family considering buying a new mattress!

This place is awesome! We need a new mattress, but its tough to buy a Memory Foam type of bed unseen without laying on it. In fact, one of the beds I was considering would have been a poor choice. Instead, the choice is very clear now. Stop in at Sleep Sherpa before buying a Memory Foam mattress. The staff was also very helpful!

They are both a help and a hindrance. I finally got to test out the purple mattress, but only to find that I fell in love with the much more expensive version and now I have to wait to save up even more money in order to get the mattress I really want. (If youre wondering, the level 4 purple mattress is worth every extra penny.)

We bought a bed prior online and had to return it in the trial period so were so happy to find this store where we could try out many beds and not have to endure another return process. Pari the sales person was so informative, helpful and kind. We decided on a Lytton bed and then she suggested we try the adjustable frame. Though surprised to even consider purchasing an adjustable bed, we went for it! We have had it for 1 month now and LOVE the whole set up. The company provided a white glove set up which was helpful as well. We are purchasing a second Lytton for our cabin through Pari. Truly appreciate her knowledge and calm, trusted customer service.

I had been researching mattresses for months and had narrowed it to a few online options but was really hesitant to make such a big purchase without being able to try the mattress out in person. I stumbled across this store and was SO excited to be able to go in and try almost every mattress on my list! The owner, Ben, was very knowledgeable and helpful. The store is clean, nicely laid out, and has a good variety of mattresses.

False advertising. They have a big sign over the Awara mattress stating that it is made in the USA. Ask to see the legal label, or message the company for a photo of the legal label. I did, and it clearly states that the mattress is made in China.

Nice store in Chicago with lots to choose from. Ended up getting the Nectar adjustable base, delivered in 5 days, and its awesome. Was between the lytton and winkbed mattress and went with the lytton and its awesome and got it in 5 days. Great experience.
