She took the time needed to understand our closet needs and reviewed multiple design options with us and our interior designer. Dianna was the glue that held everything together, from the homeowner, the contractor, our designer and her installation team. Her communication skills were outstanding as well as her follow up on every detail. We could not be happier with the outcome. My husband and I would highly recommend California Closets.

I utilized California Closets for the design and installation of a retro-fit walk-in closet. Oh, man. I have absolutely no regrets working with the Edina California Closet Team. First, Danielle, my Design Consultant was prompt and professional performing an in-home design consultation within days of submitting the initial form fill on their website. The end design was ultimately all her vision and she absolutely maximized our available space. Additionally, I appreciated that Danielle was respectful of my budget. Im aware custom closets have a variable cost spectrum especially when you add in upgraded finishes/fixtures. But, it was clear Danielle was trying to find the happy intersection of our budget and closet needs, not just up sell us. Our installer, Trevor, was equally professional and efficient. He was very respectful of our space too.We got bids from 2 other companies. We ultimately went with California Closets because DIY modular units would not have worked in our space as we live in a 1900s build brownstone and walls have settled imperfectly. Modular units with fixed sizes would have been a nightmare for us to install. (on a related note - youre the best, Trevor, for dealing with all of that for us!) And, California Closet had competitive pricing with vendor #2 but way more communicative. THANK YOU!

I needed to make the most of a small walk-in (4x5) and made a stop to the CC location in the Mall of America for a chat. After that, Stacy made a house visit and worked up a design in a single session. Installation was on schedule and done to perfection. Over six months later and I still feel it was worth every penny because it functions so well, and is beautiful. No more baskets on the floor or tippy towers of sweaters. The ginormous closets are fun to look at, but even small spaces can hold a four season wardrobe when designed well. I highly recommend the service.

We had 3 closets, a pantry, and a laundry room upgraded with new California Closets organizers. We could not be happier. Our designer thought of touches we would never have known to ask for. The installer paid attention to detail and was careful of our house in every place he worked. While the wait seemed long between ordering and installing, the final work was right on time and we are thrilled with the whole project.

I don’t usually write a review. Since I had great experience with California closet, I decided to write a review about it. I have done my home work before reaching out to California closet. I have read many good reviews. The designer is awesome. She designed the closet on the first appointment. She brought with her samples and she guided us in selecting material and color. We were told initially that it will take up to 5 months to install the closet but they installed it in about two months. We are so excited with the color and quality of work.

We used California Closets to design and install the master closet in our new home. I found the design process to be extremely thorough and enjoyable, and our closet turned out beautifully. I really liked that you could modify the design and see 3D images of the changes in real time. We checked out other custom closet providers, and none came close to the customer service we received at CA Closets.

Chelsea Kelly did a wonderful job designing our new front entryway closet. We had a very odd space to fill-in and within an hour or two, she came up with 3 designs that would fit the space. With our collaboration, we were able to customize the space for our exacting needs! We love working with California Closets for our more challenging storage and closet space configurations. We have one more closet to do in 2020 and will definitely be requesting that Chelsea be on our team to tackle this last space!

I worked with a couple of different designers while going through the process of designing 3 closets in my home. Adrienne made the finishing touches on my designs and she was great to work with. She answered my multiple questions with ease and a great attitude!! The only snafu was that there wasnt much communication prior to installation day. I had to call just to verify they were coming. From the moment we set out on our adventure to add built ins to our living room we struggled time after time with independent contractors not understanding what exactly it was that we were trying to accomplish or bidding the project at a very unreasonable cost. I had one of my spare bedrooms turned into a beautiful walk-in closet/dressing room. The dimensions of the room were very odd and the ceiling height angled in, so no do-it-yourself systems would have worked. After pricing out what it would have been by purchasing materials and items at IKEA vs. California Closets, they were actually more affordable and did an AMAZING job (plus with ikea you would have to put everything together yourself)! I love how professional and impressive it looks. Would highly recommend this company!

Redid a bathroom and needed to update two closet areas. I had twice used California Closets before and though I looked at some other options, I just felt more comfortable with them. Have very much liked all the closets they have done for me and found these folks very easy to deal with. Prices seem reasonable and value, quality excellent. We’ve used California Closet for 8 projects over the years, most recently for 2 closets in our new home. They’ve always done amazing work and this time was no exception. The designer provides great ideas and the installation team is prompt, courteous, and does good work. In our past home they built out our mud room, created a storage space along a attic bedroom wall, created a free standing piece for our entry way, and more. Not only was my master reach-in made beautifully, but a small but deep (awkward) closet was turned into the most functional and lovely space. I can be very nitpicky, but was only impressed by all their attention to detail. How they routed the kick plate for the vent and how they boxed out and trimmed the outlets. Extremely Happy!Due to a disability, my wife and I were not able to travel to the store to meet with a designer. I emailed and set up a consultation time at our home. Ashley came out, and she is amazing. My wife and I collaborated with her to design a Media Center and Book storage area for our living room and also a full pantry that would be built around our small kitchen table eating area.With Ashleys expertise and both her and my wifes eye for design, we were able to design both areas to not only be 100% functional, but also pleasing to the eye when being looked at.Ashley took all the measurements, and went back to the office and got to work on designing our vision. A few weeks later she came back out to the house to show us the 3D designs and from there we tweaked a few things. She then gave us the price. I was surprised that we could get custom built cabinetry fully installed for such a reasonable price. We pulled the trigger, and ordered. We were told it would be about 4-6 weeks from that day, that we would have installation. Within a few weeks, we got the phone call to schedule installation.On the day of installation, we had Mike and Anthony arrive on time, and they were Awesome! They encountered some issues with our pantry floor not being level, but they were not stopped by this, they re-did their math, and they made the proper adjustments, so you would never know the floor wasnt level. The professionalism they had was outstanding. The install took all day, but it was worth it. The cabinetry turned out even better than what we had envisioned.We had our neighbors over that evening, and they walked in and were blown away by how beautiful everything turned out. The comment was made that It looks like they were always there, and were supposed to be there. This was exactly what we were looking for.I have already recommended Ashley and the entire California Closets team to anyone and everyone I can. My first experience with California Closets has inspired me to envision many other projects (a new closet for my daughter, a mudroom, and a new entry way closet).

I was very happy with my experience with California Closets from walking into the store to the finished product. Everyone involved was pleasant and helpful. The installers were on time and worked efficiently. When they left I had a beautiful new desk and bookcase unit that met my needs while looking attractive in my home.

This store has amazing products and is neatly organized and cared for. Me and my friend were in the store by ourselves with the caretaker looking around. We saw a bed and decided to sit on it and check it out because we found it comfortable and considered buying it. The lady came over and asked what we were doing there when it was obvious we were looking at furniture.

Janeans expertise in designing our closets were beyond perfect. She was great at looking and listening to our needs and then putting it to the design. She was punctual plus very intuitive with her insight. Once designs were complete she walked and talked through each one specifically. Very professional! The CC install team were very good with the install and clean up, I would recommend Cal. Closets to anyone and everyone.

I have had California Closets installed in my last 3 homes - I wouldnt keep going back unless the experience was awesome.Its fun to work on the projects with the consultant and get exactly what you are looking for. I have never come across any issues from design to install - the work is impeccable!

We researched and had 4 companies come out to give us a quote on our closet. I originally thought California Closets would be out of our financial range. I learned that California Closets was priced the same as 2 of the other companies. I liked the plan that Bella designed better than the other 2 and they could fit us in on our timeline so I went with California Closets. Im SO happy we did! The quality of the materials used are super strong (like furniture) and looks fantastic. Im so much happier than I ever expected with the results. I will use California closets again in the future.... no contest!

Adrienne came to design three of our closet spaces ten years ago... and it was so fantastic that she came back this summer to design three more! We are beyond thrilled with her creativity, and the amazing results!

An truly wonderful experience. The design was fast, the install seamless, and the cost reasonable. We started with a bedroom closet and are now moving to a front hall closet. The first installer did really great work, so we have requested he return for the second install. Also planning to use CC for the laundry room.
