I walked in to get an oil change like i have a few times before, this time the guy was incredibly rude and didn’t listen to a thing i said. after telling him that i was coming for an oil change he proceeded to ask me what service i was coming in for. he refused to listen to the spelling of my name to get my information as he seemed to know exactly how it must be spelled. in accusing way asked me how i scheduled an appointment, which i never claimed to do. i won’t be going here again.

Had came in at the end of November 2020 for a front rim replacement for my vehicle that went very well and I was in and out very quickly! Which is why I was so disappointed with my service a few months later. Came in today for a wheel alignment and tire rotation and was told by Joe that it may be a few hours, great had the day off and went to Southdale. After and hour and a half I got a call back from Joe saying that they completed the wheel alignment, but that they recommend getting a new set of tires and brakes as they were pretty worn out. (Which I will say I agree with, but not the point.) But I kindly declined, and was told my vehicle would be ready in ten minutes.And as I walk in to the store towards the empty front desk and wait for the next 5 or so minutes, eventually Joe shows and he talks to me about the services he recommends again and I sort of just let him talk about those services. And then we finally get to the part where I pay, and I noticed that I still had the fee for the tire rotation on the invoice, which I was a bit surprised about as Joe a few minutes ago was asking if I wanted to replace my tires with some brand new ones (why would you rotate the tires if you buying new ones?), and so I asked Well so did we end up rotating the tires on my car?, and Joe replied with a simple yes we did. Okay I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he would rotate those tires and paid for my service and left.And remember what I had said about getting a new front rim a few months back? Well the rim is visually newer looking from the rest of the set and can clearly be seen as a new rim, and lo and behold once as I get back home, that tire is in the same exact spot that it was in before. So Joe straight up lied to my face about completing the service, and could have easily just taken that charge off the invoice and we would have been fine.I will never be coming back to this location as honesty is not a known concept here.

A few Sundays ago, I drove my Audi to the Firestone Tire and Service near the Southdale Center. I had a puncture in my tire that wasnt holding air, and after inquiring about the situation over the phone, planned on getting it repaired quickly for the quoted $30.After a quick 15 minutes, Zach, the customer service advisor told me that my tire would not be repairable, and that I would need to purchase a new set of 4 tires. He did not present the damaged tire to me. When I suggested doing some research on tires, Zach discouraged me from driving more than 30 miles on the spare tire. While pondering my options, I read the Harvey Firestone quote on the wallpaper in the lobby, that stated Honesty is the greatest business principle, and decided to go ahead and purchase new tires.A short while later, Zach has called me back up to his counter (bully pulpit) and told me that I need new brakes. Concerned for my safety, he told me that driving any more on my brake pads would be dangerous because there is very little left on the brake pads. I decline.While waiting, I walked towards the auto service area, and see my Audi raised up on the automotive lift in the nearest repair bay. With the tires removed, I take a picture(BEFORE). Checking progress again, I see my Audi being lowered and the service technician kicking in the swing arms with his feet, intending to tuck them under the vehicle, so the car can roll off the lift in reverse. I see the swing arm closest to my vantage point is not tucked in completely and gets lodged in the backside of the front spoiler/splash guard. Unknown to the technician in the driver seat, the front end has flexed to the max and become separated from the passenger side of the front end. Zach is present in the area and quickly commands the driver to stop reversing the car. He drives the car back forward to release the damaged splash guard off the lift arm.My vehicle was then lifted up in another bay, which was the furthest from the customer lobby to review the damage to the bumper. Assuming they would review and share with me the extent of the damage afterwards, I wait patiently. Zach has started to eat his lunch at the counter. I approach him and ask him if he is going to address the damage done to the car. He is surprised that I know of the damage, and immediately says the bumper had damage before, and would not have gotten caught on the swing arm if not flawed. He said they are re-attaching and will be the same as it was before. I am now very concerned that I am not dealing with a customer service oriented professional or company.After three hours, my car is ready, and I am asked to pay for the new tires by Zach. I ask if I can see the car before I make the payment, and he reluctantly walks out to the car. He shows me the re-attached bumper and states that it looks like it did before. I had taken a picture (AFTER) and told him that I was not happy with his unwillingness to be upfront and honest about the situation and not comfortable making the payment for the tires without some plan of resolution for the body damage. He responded by accusing me of being like many others, whom take advantage of Firestones deep pockets, and starts to become visibly agitated with my pursuit of some resolution. He tells me that I can call tomorrow and talk to the manager if I have a problem. I pay for the tires and leave with the worst feeling you have can have after service. .The next day, I call store manager Josh, and asked him if he was aware of the situation from yesterday. Josh agrees that the situation was handled poorly. He claims that Zach didnt actually know how the car was damaged - despite witnessing it. With Zach present, I am put in a situation of my word against Zach during my return visit and pursuit of customer service and honesty.Josh states that he doesnt have his A Team working on Sundays, and that his weekday team may be able to repair the bumper to my satisfaction. After review with Josh we see that the bumper was re-attached to my car with zip ties.

What a great experience! They were efficient and well priced. They explained everything about the service they offered. Two stars only because they did the work we asked for and I cant be 100% sure of some of my criticisms.We brought our car in because the blower motor didnt work. I got a call from the shop and they said the car wouldnt start. They asked if I knew of a trick to start it, but its never done that to us so I had no advice for them. They said they would need to do an engine diagnostic, but theyd only charge $99 instead of the rate for 2 hours. I really had no choice but to agree.Later on they apparently got it to start. They said it needed a new blower motor and resistor, but they also suggested doing the spark plugs for about $200. I declined since I can do that myself. I think they tried to throw in some filter or something, but I declined that as well.When we went to pick it up, they quoted me the price, and I asked to see a breakdown. When they pulled it up they said, oops, the engine diagnostic is still on there and then took it off.I cant say if it was just wild coincidence that the car wouldnt start, even though its never happened to us. I also cant say if it was an oversight that the engine diagnostic wasnt removed, but we would have been charged for it had I not asked to see the breakdown.The whole exchange felt fishy. Like I said, it might be nothing, and the blower motor works fine now, but I just got a bad gut feeling about the whole thing and well be going elsewhere in the future.

I was visiting the Minneapolis, MN area from Omaha, NE for a weekend. On Sunday morning I filled up my gas and noticed that my tire pressure was low (weird since I just filled it up the day before to 35). Well sure enough, the back left tire had a pretty sizable nail in it. I called around to 5 different places, all of which said they could potentially have it done by 5pm (at the time, it was 9:30 AM!), and knowing that I had a 5 1/2 hour drive I kept calling until someone could help sooner. I called Firestone and they told me to bring it on over, but it would take about an hour to complete. They were so quick, so friendly, and didnt rob me for my money at all (despite knowing I was in a pretty desperate situation and probably would have paid more than I should have). They finished with my tire in 45 minutes! I had insurance coverage on the tires, so when I came back to Omaha I went into a discount tire so they could check the work. The manager there said that over 90% of tire repairs done at other companies are not done properly and usually not double-sealed, but after an hour there with multiple tests done to the tire itself, they reported that Firestone had repaired it to the highest standard and that they could continue the warranty on that tire because of how great of a job was done. Needless to say I am an extremely happy customer and would definitely recommend coming back here! Thanks for your awesome, quick work and helping out a girl in need!

What a fantastic place to do business.Craig is the estimator / service writer that I did business with.. He got me in at a convenient time and his hunch of what was wrong.. was exactly on Target.He had a technician, Cody do the diagnostic work on the car, Cody was very efficient found some things that needed attention, and let me know what needed to be done and what was optional.I appreciate the transparency and honesty that I got from Firestone / Craig Cody .. unfortunately not all of my dealership experiences have been as honest and trapped parent as I received here.I would trust Craig and Cody with my vehicles 100%.I give them a five-star rating!!

There are two men that run the front desk when you walk in, one on the left (younger) and one on the right (older, bad attitude). When I called ahead, the guy on the left was very helpful and had great customer service. The man on the right(the guy I spoke to when I got there) was VERY RUDE!! As I sat in the waiting area, he continued to be rude to every other customer he came in contact with. The tone of his voice is very SURLY And makes it feel like he could care less about your business.

Ive brought my car here multiple times for an oil change and have always had a good experience. They are one of the few places that actually listen when you tell them you just want an oil change... no messing around with the tires or anything else.As a woman, I find that many auto places try to talk down to you or try to sell you more than you need. I have been pleasantly surprised to find that I have not encountered this here... Ive always been treated with respect and have not been served any of the nonsense Ive found at other places. I would highly recommend them!

There are three things I rate on with regards to my reviews. Customer service, timeliness, and efficiency.Lets begin with timeliness. 5 out of 5. I came in for an oil change and to get my vehicle inspected for any issues. The oil change took no time, but the recommended fixes took some time because they had to courier in a vehicle part. I was totally fine with that. The thing that I thought was amazing was getting that part in within the same day AND installing the part (it was my muffler).Efficiency. 5 out of 5 stars. Was re-work needed? No. My car has been running fine and I havent had any issues. I was informed that I have some scheduled maintenance to do, but thats for my next visit. I already talked about the same day muffler installation, cant really get any better than that.Customer service. 5 out of 5 stars. This is where most places will lose a star or two. For me, three stars means that the associate did what they needed to do and the transaction went smoothly. Customer service is all about building a relationship with your customers. Terrible customer service WILL PRODUCE A LOT OF CHURN in your business and thats something that most businesses cant afford (since it costs so much more to obtain customers than retain them). The service manager Zach not only kept me updated on my car repair, we also talked about the Minnesota Vikings (who were playing at that time),talked about sports for a bit, and joked about it. By going out of his way to build a customer connection with me, I am much more likely to come back for my scheduled maintenance. In fact, I will come back for my scheduled maintenance (also you guys are right by the mall).Thanks for repairing my car and producing a great customer experience. Keep up the good work :)!

Brought my van in thinking it was the alternator and it would cost $400 plus. After talking to the agent, Josh he suggested I test the alternator for $35 first to see if is the alternator. Turned out it was a cable which cost $50. Appreciate that they were honest and not trying to sell me something I didn’t need.

The older gentleman who seems to manage the place was nice; but my interactions with the mechanic, Corey, were very unpleasant. During the course of a wheel change, flush and dye and new battery two days later each interaction was rude. He immediately sounded annoyed to have to interact with someone and responded to each of my questions in a very condescending way. After my second trip back to this Firestone two days later for a new battery (which mysteriously died the day after my first repair) I called to mention that now my car vibrates every time I accelerate. Coreys attitude on the phone made it impossible for me to want to bring my go vehicle back for round three of repairs this week. I am going to another mechanic and do not recommend this place!

Amazing service. I was traveling last week and got a flat tire. Brought it into a shop in North Dakota to get replaced. While my car was on the lift, I was told that my brakes were getting very low and that I should not drive much until I got them replaced. I decided to wait until I got back home to get them replaced. The week after I brought my car to firestone for my oil change and they inspected my brakes for free. The store manager, Josh Emerson, brought me out to my vehicle and showed my brakes. Turned out that I still had almost half life left. I came in prepared to spend a lot of money on brakes but Josh was very honest and didn’t take advantage of me. I would recommend Firestone to anybody need work done to their vehicles.

This is unfortunately the second time I have had to fly in here with air leaking out of my tire desperate to get it fixed FAST. I actually called from another store (dif company) that said they couldnt help me for 4 hours; to then drive here for great friendly service again! Went in for a 4 wheel alignment and after a hour my car comes flying into a parking spot (I never drive my car like that) when asked how it went he told me they couldnt align the rear because it was stuck.. but that they tried and it was still going to be gf ull priced my car now is shaking on the freeway and I call him back up he tells me they had to heat it up and that I need new control arms. My car is notlw worse off then when i brought it in pulls to one side and they completely smashed in my pinch welds on 3 sides and on top of that Im missing change out if my ash tray.. i would be surprised if you guys ever get anything correctly done at this location also upon further inspection they also dented in my gas tank by trying to jack it up can not get my mind around what I paid a 100 dollars for them to do? WoW

They answer all your questions and are honest with the time frame in which they need to service your vehicle. Under new management!!!!! Forget the old reviews on this location. Joe D is the best shop manager Firestone has to offer. I have followed him to three different stores over the last five years. He is honest and trustworthy, he will tell what needs to be done and when it isnt about the up sell with him. If you dont need it today he will tell you, and explain what to watch for so you and your family stay safe. I couldnt recommend Joe any more highly. He does his best to make good of situations that are not fun like when that check engine light comes on and money is tight. Thank you, Joe!

Contacted Josh E online for a quote on 4 new tires and an alignment yesterday and he promptly shot me a quote that was outstanding. He had to order in the tires but was able to get them by 2 PM today for installation. Dropped the car off at 1:50 PM - Tires and alignment done while I waited (actually I walked over to Southdale Center just 200 yds away) - Paid and on my way by 3 PM. Price exactly to quote. Great service. Highly recommend.

I went in to get 4 tires. I was greeted as soon as I came in and they had everything ready to go. I got my vehicle back in a reasonable time. When I started driving, I noticed a grinding sound coming from my right rear that wasn’t there before. I brought my vehicle back and they found the problem and fixed it. The problem wasn’t even their doing. Very polite and friendly staff. Will definitely be a returning customer.

Service was fine in that they were able to change the oil. Not sure if everyone was having a bad day but hard to get someone at the desk. Low rating because when they tested my battery they said I had only 400 CCA and that it needed to be replaced. I had just put the battery in myself and said I would just take care of it since I was in a hurry. Took it to NAPA to get it tested and for a replacement and it tested 1050 CCA. No difference in temperature between the days. I’m suspect now. Not a great impression for a first time customer.

2 interactions with this store, both equally shocking if youve ever dealt with stereotypical mechanics. 1. My car was squealing around turns, I figured my tires were going, took it in for a new set. Manager came out and told me I didnt need to drop $700 on tires, I needed a $200 tie rod. He could have got me for both, but he didnt. My jaw near hit the floor. 2. Another Firestone location ripped the bead on my tire when I had an emergency patch installed. I didnt know until a couple days later when it went completely flat. They paid for a tow truck to come knock my rusted on spare loose and install it so I could drive to their store *at my convenience*, were in contact with updates on tow truck ETA and which store had the shortest wait, bumped me to the head of the line when I arrived, installed a new tire and sent me on my way. No charge. No BS. This is the stuff that car owner dreams are made of. Highly recommend and I refuse to take my truck anywhere else.

I thought these guys were nice and gave good customer service. A lot of these reviews are old. I work a couple blocks away and know that this store has gone through a management change and did some shaping up to what the old posts were. I definitely trust the guys here w/ my VW. While every other store in the area was quick to say no about a minor problem, these guys were quick to get my car back to me in a good price with no jerking around.Ive found my local shop near my workplace, and its here.

Terrible place. Small nail not near edge of tire. Ford said they would have fixed but paid for warranty through Firestone Edina. Firestone Edina made me pay for new tire. Had to pay $90 dollars for a tire under Firestone warranty. Not a good place.

Very disappointed about their workmanship all the way through. I had tire rotation and wheel alignment services at this location. After picking up my car, I found that my trunk was messy. They pulled out all my personal stuff in the trunk and tire replacing tools from small compartment underneath the trunk in order to find wheel lock, but never put them back where they were. I am ok with them pulling out my personal stuff since it is my bad that didnt give to them when handed over the key. The problem is the tire replacing tools werent put back to pouch and lost few pieces. I also cant find the cover for small compartment, either.

I came in to get a new tire to replace a flat I had. It never occurred to me to get the tire fixed which is what they suggested. They also looked over my vehicle and gave dinner me some suggestions based on other concerns I voiced. The service was awesome and I feel that they honestly had my best interest in mind.

Upsell city. Took my car(s) in for an oil change. They tried to get us out of there for an additional $300-$500 in necessary maintenance. I took my cars to my regular mechanic to verify and he said the items Firestone had noted were completely fine. Never going here again.

Ive worked in automotive service & repair for 15+ years.. If you want to overpay for things you dont need (or just overpay for the things you do), especially with the use of scare tactics, then look no further. You will pay out the a$$!! Be warned!

I would never go to this place, they are dishonest. Got new battery in August and jt is bad now. I asked them to change battery but they said it’s not battery issue and fixed something and charged money like $80 and it never got fixed. Terrible Business practice when you lie to people. I took this battery to a different vendor and got the new battery.

Spencer and Zach (sorry I dont know the spelling) are absolute life savers! Was super stressed trying to move and got a leak after I hit a screw, I drove up panicked as I was in a huge rush and with no appointment and they had me in and out in 45 minutes. If you are looking for the most expensive solution to a problem stop here. Always takes two or three trips to get things done correctly. They often misdiagnose the problem and you end up spending a lot more for your repair than at a competent garage.
