I went here in search of small black wood letters to finish a project. They had an ok selection and I actually found what I was looking for. Although they do have more lettering than hobby lobby or Michaels ...I must say this particular Joann fabrics was not as nice and organized as the other 2 stores. Not very clean and things were all over the place. You would think if a store lacks some of the amenities or less extras than the bigger chain stores the prices would be cheaper....not the case ...all 3 stores are about the same in pricing at least for letters. All and all not bad had what I looked for and got out of their fairly quickly.

Recently went in to pick up some fabric for some blackout curtains I was making. I dont frequent these stores often and was a bit confused on picking out the right material and sizing. I was happily greeted by a manager and was shown around to exactly what I needed as well as her cutting out the dimensions I needed as well, overall very pleasant experience. staff was very helpful and quick!

Joann Fabrics, is a wonderful company and store! The staff knows sewing so they know what you are asking and have the answers to your questions. They can also help you learn and better understand things that Will make your sewing project come out perfect. As a guy that grew up with a Mother that was a Master Seamstress, I leaned early in life how to sew a button on and fix my own clothing issues. JOANN is the place to solve your sewing needs.

Had great sales going on, the cashier was nice, the lady that cut our fabric was awesome, and best of all the bathrooms were CLEAN.

This place is dangerously awesome for any creative dabbler!

Always love Joannes. Everyone seems to always wonder why I go to Joannes thinking its primarily only a fabric store. They have way more than just fabric and they typically have really good deals and lots of good clearance that you cant pass up. Staff sometimes ride your back a little bit. But other than that is a pretty nice place to go hows it going variety and typically a larger clearance section. If youre one for those type of things such as I. On top of they do have a rewards and they send out pretty good coupons through email.

I have not been to Joanns in a very long time but i still found what i was looking for still have a good selection of stuff

I love the Hazelton store in EdinaMn. It is so much bigger than the one in Mankato. Much more to choose from.

Shelia helped me so much, as Im new to crafting products and tools. Thank you, Joann Fabric and Craft store for hiring and training professional people. Heres the cards I made with card stock paper Shelia helped me pick out. I was recycling old card fronts that were from 2002 that are discontinued. Arent these adorable? Also, that craft knife, bone folder and Tim Holz craft scissors make me feel like a pro. Ta dah!

The men’s room is absolutely immaculate!Either it gets cleaned hourly or I am the only one that ever uses it!

I had a large canvas oil painting put on a mount at the Edina location that I brought back from Turks and Caicos. Absolutely gorgeous paining, but upon return and when I finally had rime to take the paper wrapping off and hang it up, it unwrapped it only to find the canvas was wrinkles and creased beyond belief. And to think they change $500+ to mount a canvas oil painting, there is absolutely no excuse as to why it should look this bad. For that amount of money, the woman who mounted it should have ironed out any wrinkles or creases beforehand. Very disappointing. Now I don’t know what to do. She sealed the back of it so I can’t iron it out myself. Just something you would think that the lady who did this would have taken into account. She seemed to take pride in the fact that she is the only one there that mounted oil canvas paintings. The wrap job is fine, but it looks so bad and wrinkled I don’t think I can even hang it up.

Second time at the Edina, MN location to have some custom framing done. Both times Christina assisted and she was a consummate artist and professional. Framed pieces were gorgeous! Thank you!

Well stocked, nicely organized with fabrics and so much more!

If you dont know how the fabric counter works, they have a number ticket system like the dmv. So this last time we grabbed a number and waited. As our number is called this lady just walks up and the guy just helped her as we waited. Its the first time a person hasnt been asked to grab a number, and with two impatient kids it was a long extra 15 min. Though there was no benefit to be rude so we just waited and made sure we got to the counter next.

Nice store, Shakopee location, had stuff on super sale that they didnt at a different location. So I guess shop them all. Thankfully their online inventory seems to be kept up with. I was able to get a smokin deal on very large stretch canvas. 15x30 4 packs for $14, thats crazy. And the man at the register in Edina is very very nice!

I like shopping here. They have a great variety of items I need. There friendly, helpful & nice. Its clean & nice. I like this store a lot.

Very good selection of fleece and yarn. I had a problem and they helped fix it and was extremely nice about it. I will be back also nice customer service. It is important to me that customer service reps acknowledge my kids and they do and still do good work.

Joanne’s is always a good place to shop but can get very busy at times.

Nice people. Store always looks like its going out of business on the inside. There is always some part where all the shelves are empty. Didnt have what I was looking for, but thats my fault, I didnt get their early enough. Make the store look nicer.

I only review when it is necessary to share the frustration that is clearly not a concern of the managers or owners of the Joann Fabric store in Edina. I cannot be more clear- get better managers & hire people in the framing department or close it. But Miss “Manager” do not make your problem - my problem. Excuses are pointless. The framers are excellent employees and your lack of interest in their need for support is inexcusable.

Kind of a crazy store! No direction whatsoever! We took a number to get our fabric cut, we were #79.. Many others waiting before us and this lady walks up without a number and got served before any of us.. In my opinion thats not fair! We had to wait in line so why not her? Well maybe because she was upset with the employees so I guess if we all have a bad attitude well get the same fast service right...? Not to mention the store is dirty!

Great selection of a wide variety of fabric and other items. However, I fell that they let in too many people and social distancing was difficult at best.

Honestly I feel like Ive never paid full price for anything at Joanns. The store felt clean and safe, staff were disinfecting areas after each transaction.

This store is much larger than the ones in Oklahoma. It was nice to see an extensive selection. I was disappointed that I didnt receive a 50% coupon after paying for my purchase.

The person that cut my fabric never mentioned the price. I didnt notice there were 2 shades of purple 💜 on the fabric clearance display, so I ended up with the darker purple at 50 percent off. I thought it was going to be 80 percent off. Of course I love discounts and I love Joann Fabrics. I see the store has restocked the shelves. The shelves were looking pretty sparce after covid-19 kept everyone at home. All in all a great experience.

Great as always! They had everything I needed and helpful employees when I had a question. It was, frankly, a pleasure to roam the aisles and look at all the cool supplies and materials.

Love this store even though I spend way more than planned every single time I go. Friendly help at the cutting counter and most cashiers are great.

If you buy clearance or on sale fabric, check your receipt before leave the store, mine is always higher than what they are advertised.

Look Im not the target demo for this store, Im just a guy who wants to make masks and keep his friends safe. These folks made that very easy. The staff were friendly, patient, and knowledgeable.

I found great deals throughout the store (I just had to roam a bit, but actually purchased more than I had planned :) )The customer service that I received was very good. Everyone was upbeat, polite, and gave me the impression that they were glad to be helpful. I placed my order online and picked it up curbside at the store. Their system isnt quite as organized as Target, but the staff was friendly and helpful when I called.

It is a crafting wonderland! Store is clean and they have a good checkout system!

On google it says open. But went there on 10/25 4pm, this store was temporarily closed until further notice, had a sign on it as well!!! Google please correct this

Some customers and staff had masks below their nose (hint: your mask isnt working when you dont wear it correctly), including the staff that checked us out. Did not see sanitizing between customers.

I recently went to this location to ask about some overlock needles. The lady, Pam, working in the Vikings sections. Was completely rude. She spoke down to me as if I had no idea what I was talking about. Just told me to check my book, which is the same thing she told the person she “helped” before me. She also took a phone call in the middle of speaking to me, telling the person “it’s a party come on down hahaha”. I am unsure what type of customer service expectations are implemented at this Joanns. Because I sure didn’t see any with Pam.

I came in to by over 40 ft of fabric to make blankets and these ladies but every piece exactly the way I needed it! So sweet!

Is give it fine stars, but many items werent in stock; I blame Covid more than the staff.

Huge selection of flannels, minky, fleece in great licensed characters. We were looking for cotton character prints for masks, which were in short supply.

Super hard to find some items and basically impossible to get a staff members attention to ask for help. I knew the item was at the store but it took me over 30 minutes to locate it. Each employee in the aisles walked a different direction when I tried to approach. I suppose that could be coincidence, but it was very frustrating to spend so much time just locating one product and be obviously looking for help (asking other patrons if theyd seen staff, then noticing an employee, but have them turn a corner before I get to them) without receiving it. However, staff I did interact with (at the register) were very polite and friendly.

I love this store! Great selection of fabric and extras. Great customer service. They cut the fabric for customers, which I appreciate. (At some fabric stores, you have to cut it yourself.) Look for coupons on their website and/or app! There are almost always great deals that can save you a lot of money.

If you plan on going to any Joann Fabrics, prepare to be there for a long long time. Very few staff available. Terribly understaffed

Good products, helpful staff, good discounts!! Its hard bit to walk out with something here. The staff are so helpful and friendly. There is always discounts and deals. I hadnt been in in awhile and I needed some supplies, there was coupons through the app, through text, through the site, oh my! It was really a lot to understand. I explained to the cashier and she helped me understand which ones could be used. I am thankful for her service!!

The store is messy & dirty, never enough staff so the wait time to checkout is agonizingly slow. We only go there if there is no alternative!

A week before Christmas, and only 3 checkout counters open - 21 people ahead of me in their ridiculous maze of a line using their ridiculously convoluted coupons. HIRE HELP - pay people well and treat them fairly, and you would probably have an efficient crew. Charge a fair price for all the made in China things you sell, and ditch the tedious coupons !

Very nice Joanns store...full of great up to date merchandise. I was picking up online order, but was encouraged by a pleasant sales associate to shop. I did and purchased more. Associate was patient and helped with pulling up app coupon.

Loved it. Had to get some fabric and found some nice inexpensive fabrics. Customers service was also very nice. People kept asking do I need help. Checkout was simple and she also showed me some coupons on my phone to save more money.

There were two employees that were cold and not friendly. Everyone has always been very helpful. At the checkout the older lady seemed very bothered by my asking questions or trying to talk to her. Very icy. Made me feel like I was putting her out.

Very good Service

This is a larger store that has everything needed to craft and sew. Lots of fabric options, floral pieces and various crafting items as well as decorative items. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Cutting desk can get busy, but its expected as they do get busy. If you can avoid prime time during the weekend your better. Parking lot is also large with lots of available spaces and all close to the store. I highly recommend checking out this location.

Needed a 3 hook bra extender. Only store I know that sells them. Very reasonable price. And in beige. Needed assistance to locate; found an Associate easily. Gave clear directions to find item.

Employees are always helpful. If you do any kind of crafting you can get supplies here. They also have classes if you want to learn how to do a craft. If you have any questions about sewing, you can go here and ask for help, the ladies were probably sewing before you were born.

These five stars go directly to Penny. She asked about my day very genuinely, and helped make sure I took advantage of a coupon. The interaction did not seem forced. Theres often a fine line between being there for the customer or being there for company gain. And Penny understands that being there for the customer is the best thing for the company. She saved my Jo Ann experience. It was a little bleak at the beginning of the trip; lost amongst the aisles with seemingly no organization. But Penny is enough to bring my rating up this high. Im excited to go home and work on my craft project. Thank you, Penny.

Been to this location a few times and had a great experience finding the stuff I needed. Personnel is very helpful.Special shootout to Ive of cashiers, Sharon. She is the sweetest old lady and was helping me every time! She also suggested using coupons from stores website and it saved me 50% which made the overall experience worth 5 star rating!

Good store huge inventory, some things a little over priced but also has a lot of sales.

Pretty much everything you could ever want in a fabric and crafts store. Staff is always extremely helpful and they have a cutting counter. Service (fabric cutting) is usually fast except around holidays so plan extra time then. Overall great experience.

This is the cleanest Joann fabrics ive ever been in. It is well lit. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. *Veterans & military* sign up online for a 15% discount. The discount works with coupons and sale prices!

Joanns is getting busy again and the cutting counter was very slow. I would avoid it on the weekend.
