Dislike dislike dislike this company so much!! They dont have a single working phone number. Only reason we are using them is due to American Home Shield which is another service I would never recommend. What a waste of my money over the years. I still have a dishwasher which no where near being repaired.
1.3 is a generous rating for this inconsiderate human, that must thrive to have you at his mercy. Took $90 for the service call and stated that the part installed is $150, and that the $90 would be credited towards it, instead he put the part in after begging him to return, and demanded an additional $220 ($310 total). Stay away at all costs. Do yourself a favor and just buy a new appliance.
This company is a joke as many others have stated as well. Stay far away from them. My dealings with Appliance Plus was from a claim with American Home Shield. An AP rep came out to evaluate our stove top on Aug 3rd 2020. A part for the oven was than ordered. To this date, after at least 10 voice-mails to AP and three complaints made to AHS, my oven has still not been fixed and AP has still not even called me back. Its even to the point and laughable that AHS cant even get in touch with AP. I cant even believe that AHS even uses this company. Next will be a report to the BBB, and to drop AHS. I have had AHS for 6 years, I believe it is time for a change.
Very unprofessional...and, even worse... dishonest. They were at my house almost 6 weeks ago, said they needed a part. When I called last week thinking I’d give them the benefit of the doubt and assumed the part was delayed, he told me he’d check on it and get back to me the next day. Finally, after the weekend past with no call back, I called the Warranty Company to complain (that’s a whole other issue in terms of unprofessionalism). They informed me he had just ordered the part the DAY BEFORE!!! Waited a whole month!!! Thanks but no thanks. Scam. The warranty company and this company deserve each other.... Appliance Plus and American Home Shield.... NOT working together!
DONT USE THIS COMPANY!! They are complete garbage and a sham...you would be lucky if they showed up and you will NEVER get a hold of anyone there! THREE appointments with a NO SHOW! AHS has went way downhill outsourcing customer Service to India who are not empowered to make any decisions...the fact they still use this LAME and ineffective company speaks volumes! I would give ZERO stars if I could!
ZERO stars really but I had to click at least one. Assigned to this company by AHS. Appointment for 12-3 4 days later, showed up at 5:30 on a Friday night. Here for 15 minutes to say we needed a part. AHS shipped the part out next day and Appliance Plus took 3 days to call us for an appointment. Tons of excuses as to why they dont communicate. Just avoid them. If AHS assigns them to your repair order, ask for someone else.

American Home Shield assigned this company the guy never submitted a report and now I can’t find the company because they closed their shop and phones have been disconnected. AHS won’t complete my request until this company submits the report.
This is one of the worst and most unprofessional companies I have dealt with. I got this company through my home insurance and I have been waiting for 3 months for them to fix my dryer. Customer service lady has a terrible attitude and doesn’t even try to help the customer. Don’t use this company if you want your appliances fixed on time. Definitely do not recommend, I don’t give them a zero star because it’s not an option in this review.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!! I have been without a washing machine since July. The very incompetent technician Chris has been to my house 3 times with the last time giving up after watching 20 you tube videos on how to fix the machine. Left my house. I never heard from them again. Find out From the insurance company that they actually ordered a part for my machine. Funny because he didn’t know what was wrong when he was actually at my house but somehow knew to order a part after giving up and leaving. Never notified me of this. I found that out from the insurance company. I keep calling and the few times i actually get to speak with someone they tell me the part has not yet come in. I find out from the insurance company today that the part was delivered to them and signed for on 8/24 and They proceeded to order yet another part. All while telling me that the part never came in. Sounds like insurance fraud to me. THey should not be in business. They are crooks!!
This company is terrible. DO NOT USE THEM!!! I didnt think that a company could provide such awful service and stay in business.They didnt show up for the appointment to fix my washing machine the first time. Then, when they did come out, they told me that they needed to order a part that would take 5-7 business days. After 12 days and not hearing back from them, I started trying to reach the company. I called several times a day for a week. The phone would just ring and ring. Finally, someone answered the phone. I was told that the part had just come in. They kept trying to call me only 1 day ahead of when they wanted to come out. I repeatedly told them that I needed to give work more than 1 days notice that I needed to take time off. Finally, they scheduled me several days in advance for the next week. Then, 2 days before that appointment, they called to tell me they were coming out the very next day (so I had to tell my boss at 4pm that I wouldnt be in the next day. Then, when they came out (this morning) they had the wrong part!!! Ive spent $100 at the laundromat waiting for them to fix my washing machine. Im furious.The only reason this company can possibly still be in business is that American Home Shield uses them as a contractor. I called American Home Shield and lodged a complaint. I asked for my service fee back. We will see if that happens.Also be aware that this company also goes by the name Appliance One, Appliance Pro & Appliance Plus. Just look for the 1 star review and you will know if this is the company we are all talking about.
Would not recommend this company. I have to admit, I did not choose this company on my own accord, they were hired through my home warranty company (Choice), who I also do not recommend.I had a dryer issue and the heating element needed to be replaced. I was told the part would be ordered and delivered within 3-5 business days. About a week and a half later I finally contacted them about the part and they simply stated sometimes it takes longer.The part finally came in and on the evening of the install (which was days later), they cancelled last minute. Very inconvenient. They werent available again until the next night. After almost a month without a dryer, any extension of time was annoying.The tech finally came and opened my dryer which was wet from condensation and said he wasnt going to work on it (understandable). He then however, wrote it up as water damage and we were denied our claim because of it. He couldnt even recognize that the dryer was only wet because of simple condensation (hot outside, cool inside from AC).Avoid using this company. Zero help.
Shockingly bad! American Home Shield sent them to fix freezer fan. While here another customer called him irate. He said will order new fan. I said will be back from vacation 1 week. Waited a month without a call. AHS arranged another visit. He called to say Friday 12-3pm. I waited all day no show no call. Today Monday he called me to come out. I said he never came. He insisted he did and my wife let hiim look at ice maker arm. I said wife right here and no you did not. He insisted until I said cooling fan. He had me read model number and said he went to wrong house last friday. He stated that this was a common mistake. We then had a 15 minute argument about how it was my fault that I did not call him after vacation; how he doesnt have 1 customer that he waits around for; doesnt have a system to follow up on unfinished jobs; the person at the wrong job Friday told him not cooling fan but ice maker arm and he did not investigate; didnt bring cooling fan to that wrong house even though supposedly he was coming to mine to replace it; said his business was for sale at 3 million dollars and if I know better how to run it I could buy it. I said I am a doctor for 10,000 patients and follow up on everyone. He said didnt a patient ever go to your office thinking it was their appointment but was wrong office? I said a better comparison would be me going to the wrong office, treating the wrong patient for the wrong diagnosis then insisting I went to the right ones. The extensive negative reviews say it all. Be afraid, be very afraid.
The most horrific impolite incompetent repair service in the world. They are the text book definition of crooks. If you ever find yourself uninformed or unlucky enough to have gotten a quote from them..... assume it’s a minimum of double the price if not triple of what any top of the line expensive service would charge
STAY AWAY!!!! This is by far THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL company I have ever had to deal with. My home insurance company chose them for our repair. I spoke with a receptionist on the phone and confirmed an appointment for 2 days later. No repair person showed up. I called and left 3 messages with no return phone call. After taking the day off of work, waiting 8+ hours and a fourth phone call I finally got someone live and they said they could not come. We rescheduled for the following day. The day of I received a phone call that they had to cancel. We rescheduled again for the next day, again they cancelled on us. We had to reschedule a week later and explained to them when we rescheduled that we needed a half hour phone call because no one could take off of work. They assured us they would give the courtesy call to my phone number so I could be there. We received no call until someone was at the house and then they called my husbands phone number to tell him they were leaving the house. My husband explained that I was 2 minutes away from being home, but they left anyway. When we called to ask them to come back they told us it was our fault for not being home, even though we reviewed the multiple times that they cancelled on us and the promise by the receptionist that they would give us notice. When I tried to speak to the manager he became hostile and unwilling to work with us. They are a terrible company to work with.
If I could give 0 stars I would. We were given Appliance Plus through American Home Shield. The customer service is terrible. They had to come back 3 times, one time just now showing up at all. The technician visibly did not want to help. At the second follow up for the original problem not being fixed he literally just looked at it and said it was fine. The tech was rude, insulting and wasted all of our time. Still have a broken refrigerator and had to call AHS to switch contractors. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother.
If I could give no stars I would. The Absolutely worst people to go to, don’t waste your time and don’t go here!!!! They don’t have good customer service they don’t respond!! The worst place to go to get your appliances fixed or to buy!!! Total waste of all of my seven plus months dealing with them !!! Save your self and look past this place and find other options... Again chosen by home insurance company. You can be 200% confident in case this company gets chosen no matter how simple/large the problem is, guaranteed it will not get fixed.You will be only wasting your time for the first scheduled visit, then part ordering & then again the second scheduled visit. Net output it will not work :)I need to buy a brand new appliance because I lost patience & because of this entire process I had lost 10 days.

Too bad there isnt a 0 star review -- because they would get it. Theyre rude...they lie...keep you on hold for an hour+...never follow up...and dont fix the issue. Ive been without a refrigerator for two weeks. ALS chose these crooks. They may be loosing my business as well. Even the tech that came out told me, good luck with this company. Great...I m glad my $600 yearly payment is going down the drain.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are horrible. I was recommended them from American Home Shield and they were due to come out to my home between 12-3 to fix my washing machine. Not only did they no call, they didn’t show. I called them by 5pm and spoke to the receptionist who contacted the technician. He called and joked with me how he’s not at home either, and that I’d have to wait because he’s still on a job. He asked me to take a picture of the washing machine so he could diagnose it. I guess he can see through the machine. I clicked back over and spoke with the very unprofessional supervisor, who argued me down, didn’t apologize, and told me that they would be out some time this evening and that I’d be the last stop. He couldn’t give me a time. He said all I want to do is be upset, but if I don’t work, I don’t get paid, and I lost an entire day of work and they couldn’t tell me what time they’d be out. He suggested I reschedule. I told him no thank you. He argued with me, didn’t apologize, didn’t listen, overtalked both me and my mom. Then they called AHS and cancelled as if it was my fault that they are trifling. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, UNRELIABLE! I’d give them a minus 5 if I could. *Update* Randolph called me and said he was trying to resolve this situation with me but all i was doing is complaining and he’s not sending his guy out to my house to get into an altercation with me. IM BEGINNING TO THINK THIS COMPANY AND THE PEOPLE WHO WORK HERE ARE MENTALLY CHALLENGED. OFCOURSE I WAS COMPLAINING, YOUR COMPANY WAS A NO CALL NO SHOW. THE PROPER THING TO DO IS TO APOLOGIZE AND TRY TO RESOLVE IT. WHAT IDIOTS.
I had scheduled two appointments thru AHS and first time they showed up at 2:58 pm when scheduled window time was 12pm to 3pm. on second visit Ray came little late after appointment window but he spend good amount of time to identify the root cause and ordered parts for dish washer.On;y issue I had with Appliance plus was with their phone system. Initially, I was not able to reach them as their Voice mail was full but later this was resolved.I hope they will improve there service..Good Luck..Thanks!Devender
Just terrible. Sent by AHS. They report to AHS that they cant reach you to get your job out of the queue. They only look to make extra charges and if you dont agree they try to get rid of you by not contacting you. They essentially fish the home warranty subscribers for people who will pay them. When you call them on this they promise anything to get you off the phone. If I could give them zero stars that would still be too much.
If I could give this company negative stars, I would. The receptionist is the absolute worst and a total liar. She lied and told our home warranty company that the tech never saw us on the specified day while he was STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY HUSBAND. No clue how this place stays in business, and shame on the home warranty company for making us deal with them.

Horrible company!!! I had to use them with our warranty company. I was told 3-5 days. I called after 2 weeks and they were still waiting for the part. When they finally got the part and called to reschedule appointment for 4 days after the original date. When technician arrived he only had 1 part and needed 2. So now I will be waiting for the second part! Terrible customer service! DO NOT USE!
I hope this business fails soon, as they fail at every other point of the business process. They will NOT answer their phones. They will NOT return your calls. They will NOT come when they say they will. They will NOT fix anything quickly. They will NOT be in business much longer.

Appliance Plus customer services is horrible!!! Their clerks/secretaries lie about making and keeping scheduled appointments, parts on back order, and returning my money. Their repair person do not know how to fix whirlpool washers.
