Where to begin. They got our business by saying that they could install a ducted HVAC system when other companies could not. They brought all the supplies then realized they could not do it. So then they proposed a ductless system, several thousand dollars less than their previous quote (which they had said was the best deal). Money was tight, so we went with them and they installed it. It took at least 2 months for them to get it up and running because they werent familiar with the system and kept having to try different things. Annual maintenance was included in the contract, but when they came to do it, they wouldnt flush the system because they said they were worried it would break again. This winter, it got covered in ice and broke--we read the manual and they were supposed to install a cover to protect from snow and ice, but they hadnt. They came out to fix it and charged to replace a fan motor, even though the fan wasnt broken. We told them after that that we wanted the fix for free, because we had already paid them to diagnose it, and they had diagnosed it incorrectly (so we werent going to pay for more attempts at diagnosis). Left a message for a manager. A week later they said we need to find a new service provider because they refuse to do it.All we wanted is the system they installed to actually work, and for them to only charge for diagnosis once each time. Avoid them at all costs!

Terrible, would give them 0 stars if I could. They installed an HVAC system that wasnt powerful enough to heat our house (the upstairs wont heat if the living area heating is on). 3 years later and the heat just broke. They charged to diagnose the problem (it took them two appointments to come up with a solution). Then they came and replaced a motor, charged us almost $300 for labor even though this didnt fix the problem. Now they want to replace the whole computer board, with no guarantee that this will fix it, and they still want to charge for labor. How about you get the diagnosis right (you charged me for an incorrect diagnosis!) or guarantee your work! I dont trust the company to have found the right solution, so wont be using them again. You should know how to fix the systems that you install!As for your response below: false! You did not install it for the previous owners! You installed it for my family!

Great service from very nice people. Ive had work done to my propane tank and line, I use them regularly for fuel and they have now helped me with an emergency. Happy to keep doing business with Deiter Bros. Thank you!

Terry H and his apprentice Cody did an outstanding job servicing our heat/cooling system today. Both gentleman were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous in manner. It was a great choice to go with Deiter Bros. We had major work done. We had a new tankless water heater, gas dryer, gas stove, new hvac system, and emergency backup generator installed. There were a couple times where Deiter Bros. had the opportunity to charge us more for extra work we were asking for, they explained to us why we might want to reconsider and in the end we ended up saving money. I hope we have the opportunity to do business with them for a long time.

Deiter Bros. was extremely easy to work with and professional. Even though our gas insert was installed late, they were flexible on their end. They made sure to get to our house as quickly as possible and never once complained. Highly recommend them!

Terry does excellent, high-quality, thorough work! We have purchased the Total Comfort service plan for years, and the yearly maintenance is included. I feel its a good value. We get our furnace, AC and humidifier done at the same time.

I called for service, got a very nice young man, however he after an hour or so shared with me the fact that he had only been doing oil burners for 9 moths. He was very committed to finding the problem,calling his supervisor 2 times to no avail after trying for 3 hours to get the boiler running. Had to give up and said another guy would come by the next day, a more experienced guy great guy mind you who was able to fix the problem in 15 minutes. Upon completion of the work I asked him how much I owned, he says no problem its covered under what you paid yesterday. Being an honest Joe told him I didnt give the other young man anything he says ok Ill have to call the office which he does. Comes back and hands me a bill for $259 my point being in all this is a 15 minutes fix granted 3and change hours of a service guy being here and a $4 part I was charged $250 bucks for. I feel like the bill was way too much, the second guy who did fix the problem was like I dont make the price, very nicely good guy but was it seemed surprised I was charged so much. Happy the problem was solved just feel like I was getting charged for the fact that so much time was spent on the first service call that this company decided they needed someone to pay for all that time!!!

Recently changed out our propane provider {would love to say who} Sean and Joe came to assess our house and upon doing so noted we had a serious leak {outside} promptly fixed it and gave me a quick propane 101 class of the dos and donts with propane; something the other company should have picked up {regarding leak} did not bother to do so. As we are new to the company will update you after a few to let you know how the company performs overall - so far a 5 * rating looking forward to years of service :)

Just fyi, they will not respond for emergency service if you are not currently a customer.

The Deiters team was on time. They worked quickly and efficiently. Before they left, they explained how to operate my new thermostat. The team also cleaned up so I had no need to do any cleanup.My parents had Deiters for their heating needs for at least 35-40 years and when I moved into my own house, I stayed with Deiters.I have received great service from Deiters. Whatever you do, DO NOT Order from this firm ESPECIALLY NOT PAYGO; This firms Accouting dept. does NOT know whether its coming or going. They send multiple invoices and if you happen nopt to pay one, they threaten with legal action. I am glad I got rid of them.
