Despite the pandemic impacting the availability of good employees, I’ve found this Home Depot to have knowledgeable staff. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 is inconsistent restocking of inventory. I find that I often have to locate inventory on the cradles above the displays because the stocking staff hasn’t restocked overnight.
Employees very helpful in helping locate an item that I found available in this stores inventory that was not available at other stores in the Bay Area that I searched that I needed ASAP. Special Orders desk where I went to order a couple of items not available in the store, was another matter,as there was only one person doing it and was busy during the entire period I was there(about an hour) on the phone and not available. Store was not crowded on Monday and the surface parking lot fronting the store had pretty of parking and handicap spaces available. An IKEA store is exist across the street and other stores are on site.
One stop shop for moving and packing supplies. Had exactly what I needed, friendly service and quick checkout. Good value, especially on packing supplies: boxes, bubble wrap, bungee cords. If you have a move upcoming, get yourself sorted and packed for less. Efficient and easy on the wallet.

I called looking for a specific butcher block. Lady on the phone told me they had it in stock so I decided to drive almost an hour to this location to purchase it. When I arrived I couldn’t find the butcher block so I asked for help. EVERY single worker did not want to help me and sent me to another worker every time I asked for help. Finally some lady decides to help me in the customer service department and then proceeds to tell me that they don’t have it in stock. Horrible customer service from the whole warehouse. Literally none of these workers wanted to do their job. Wasted my time coming here.
Shopped at Lowes to buy a hot water heater but the service was bad! In the plumbing department. Returned their hot water heater got my money back and went to Home Depot where I receive better service and I bought a hot water heater!

Everything you need is there. Good prices, good locations but the only thing that I always concern about it is that they don’t have too many employees and for that the costumer services is not that good. When you need somebody to cut the wood, it’s insane the time that you need to wait.
Slowest curbside pickup ever. It’s like a 30min wait. Don’t bother waiting, just go to the counter.
It was clean an organized. But those rolling stairs were abandoned in more the a few isles blocking carts from getting through.
Easy to find employees when you need help. Checkout lines are very fast.

This place is incredible! We had to scramble and look for a few items because we had to meet up with someone. We tried to find employees who could help us locate some of the items.Elijah and Deziree who were assembling parts in an isle were really knowledgeable about the entire place. We needed precise locations, isle #s for several items. Without hesitation, they both knew what isle and where to locate them. This cut our shopping time in half and they were so enthusiastic to continue to help us. They asked is there anything else we can help you with?. If youre going to have loose parts in bins, you need to sort them at least once a year. Dip your hand into the 3/8 x 2.5 lag screws and youll get ten different parts.
Picked up a home, just as the name implies. Its a 72 sq. ft. bungalow and it was just sitting right in front of the store with no one guarding it.
Excellent customer service at this store. Curbside pickup exceeded expectations, I received notification my order was ready in under 1 hour. I was greeted by awesome James as soon as I parked in the pickup parking spot, and received my order right away. We had a multitude of irritating issues requiring several trips and multiple phone calls setting up a very poor rating; however, the manager herself took care of the worst problems in a very professional, courteous manner.

Came in the early evening for some returns and a box of repellent. I anticipated one or those lines where you see people milling about as the people in front of the line are checking to see if the boc of screws were all accounted. Surprise. Less than 5 minutes. Social distancing. Mask requirements. And plexiglass between me and the CSR. Good work HD. But that is extpected. If i didnt have to wait in line for the self-ccheckout I might have rated 5 stars. They damaged our vent and brand new microwave when installing it.They basically just rammed the microwave in place, bending the vent and the exhaust flap of the new microwave. When I told them that it doesnt sound and look right, they told me that they cant access it and left.I lifted the vent, saw the damage and called them back. They said that I damaged it.I ended up fixing it because I didnt want them to break even more.They took away our microwave dishes together with the old microwave.They didnt take their shoes off.

Put in an online order for cameras. Went by same day to pick up. Did curbside pick up and thought it went relatively painless. The workers were behind on orders and not super friendly, but thats fine. Tough times right now so no worries.Biggest issue is that 2 out of the 4 camera products I bought were definitely previously opened products. Nevertheless, they still work but I wouldve preferred getting brand new items like I paid to get.

Home Depot is definitely a Hardware and Super Store for just about anything you need or want in the building, repairs, garden, all major appliances. You can build a mansion professionally with their stock of items. All do it yourself parts for all aspects of Home Improvements. commercial accounts from large scale contractors. I gave 3 STARS due to the fact that if you are knowledgeable in the area of supplies you need unassisted, HOME DEPOT is the place to buy all above supplies and more. IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE, THE STAFF KNOWS VERY LITTLE AND WILL BE OF VERY LITTLE ASSISTANCE IN FINDING, EXPLAINING FEATURES, ETC. SO PARTS ARE 5 STARS. I tried to buy a tool box for my shop and this is what this home depot passes as an acceptable 600 dollar tool box just leaves them outside i had to take the one i bought back because the lock wouldnt function and the drawers wouldnt shut it took an hour to get someone to help me load it into my truck and after waiting that hour the home depot rep wanted to pick up the tool box by hand when they could have just called for a forklift just unprofessional left right and center if youre looking to buy a nice tool box dont buy it from here
The fasteners section is an absolute nightmare, nearly all the time. So, too, with other similar small parts areas - worse than most HD I’ve been to and the worst nearby. Sadly it’s also so close to my house that it’s the perfect one to hit up mid-project when I need something.This location needs to get their act together.

I dont know what changed, them or me, but I feel like I have consistently better experiences at the Home Depot than I used to 10 years ago. The website makes it easy to locate stuff in the store and the self service check out lines mean that, typically, I dont have to wait to pay. Keep up the good work.
I bought alot of things for my new garage and I ordered it for curbside and it was fast and easy! They had everything I needed which was great.. And Great prices!

Convenient location near freeway. Well-stocked. Easy self-checkout. Havent noticed any security issues.
I called and it took half an hour of waiting on hold to reach someone. They answered my question about whether they had an item with a no and immediately hung up without giving me a chance to ask my follow-ups. I called back and got put on hold for five minutes before giving up and going somewhere else.
On the hd website it says very clearly that there are limited quantities of lysol. I came to store. 4 employees that I asked said that the store hasn’t had lysol in a long time. Home Depot has lied.
They have the nicest people working in their paint department. The young lady who was mixing my paint did a superb job at matching to the swatch that I brought.

I love shopping there, but recently they have been very slow to restock the items I have been shopping for. Theyve been out of most paint brushes for over 3 weeks, as an example..

Worst delivery experience with home appliances. They havent delivered yet, and I had to cancel and go to Amazon or Lowes. Next time someone asked why Amazon is making retailers out of biz, I have a good answer.
Bought some decorations for Halloween. Reasonable prices and fast checkout.
Their design departments promise custom installations where standard doesnt work, string you along for weeks, then tell you they are arent equipped to provide what you need.

Very Unhelpful customer service. They shipped us an order with an item that very obviously is missing a part (mistake 1) . We then had to spend 30 minutes arguing and being redirected to get it resolved (mistake 2) Very disappointing. Customer is NOT king over here, just your money is.
The window blinds design team is not knowledgeable and professional at all. Except one girl who is really helpful and nice, all the others either have really bad attitude or completely clueless on how to use their system. It took almost 2 hours to input measurement data and another hour to try to find out a brand which fits my needs. I insisted to get help from manager. Then it was quickly found. I was the only customer there. I cannot image how Home Depot could do business if there are more customers waiting there. The only couple behind me just left. I expected to get help from experts to make my life easy, but actually it is just a 3-hour hard time for me.

I went in for a new battery for a drill. After looking everywhere for someone to help me, I finally found a person. They pointed to a wall and said, “if we have it, it will be up there.”I searched the wall. Couldn’t find it. I asked another person, and they said, “dude, how old is your drill? I’ve never seen a battery like that. You should buy a new drill. There’s some on sale over there.”I’ve used my drill about once a year in the 20 years I’ve had it. I don’t want a new drill.I jumped on Amazon and found the battery instantly for $20.After I got the battery, I dug into my project, and realized I need a slightly longer screw than I had. I went back to Home Depot, and literally every size was in stock, but the size I needed had a row that was cleaned out.I’m going to miss Orchard SO much!

Visited the garden center. Lots of beautiful plants - shrubs, citrus trees, perennial and annual flowers, some vegetables, and lots of herbs.I was specifically looking for manure or other soil amendments and they only had 2 options.Also, some of the aisles were really hard to navigate because of pallets full of stuff blocking the way.
I visited Home Depot to return an item that was sent to me as a gift. The process was easy and efficient. I only waited for a minute or two before receiving help. (Note: I had the gift receipt.)I am giving 4 stars because afterwards I was unable to locate a few items that I had hoped to pick as well. (Shop Towels was one of the items.)
Very painful agonizing experience in ordering a LG dishwasher. Ordered on May 1, 2020. Mashine was bent in box . 2 sets of installers came from Tempco & never took it back. Finally on May 15 th, Tempco took it back to warehouse & no one in Home Depot knows what is going on. No proper paper trail to track and help customer. In this hard time, having to deal with the inconvenience of paying for an appliance including 3 year extended warranty but no refund. Wait time on a phone is hours & it is a joke to repeat the painful customer service story. No manager on site will come forth to help.Agonizing.Mythili

Every single time my parents have been to this store for the past four months, every employee at the lumber department has managed to brush them off and disappear when asked for help. They are senior citizens and cannot lift weight as these employees have been trained to do in helping customers. This store fails in customer service miserably.
Very busy store, found it to be extremely difficult to get any help. After asking four different employees to help me with a laser level I was referred to a cashier who knew more about them. Obviously this store does not believe in training their employees or hiring knowledgeable staff.
Big box store. Always have what I need. No substitute for a smaller hardware store.

Everytime I go to this home depot I could hardly ever get some help finding what Im looking for. Usually workers just tell me the item should be on one isle or the other just to have another worker tell me to go back to where I came from. Lisa white is always a great help because she actually takes her time to make sure I get what Im looking for. She is great, thats why I seek her out every time I go here. Please train more employees like Lisa white.
I waited 30 minutes for assistance with a simple cut at the cutting center.Took me 15 minutes to find someone who could tell me where to locate the staff that were allegedly manning the cutting center.Wasted my time when I could have been getting work done.
This the closest Home Depot to my home. Was there dozens of times if not hundreds since it opened. Purchased there all kind of items from lumber to closet organizers, kitchen cabinets to power tools. Staff is knowledgeable about products, sometimes you have trouble finding people working for the right department though.
Disorganized, many items in the wrong places or missing stock all together. Unclear COVID procedures adds to the chaos, disorganization.

The worker I asked about electrical (didnt catch his name unfortunately, he had a beard) was very helpful and knowledgeable. I knew what I needed but couldnt find it and would take a while to look through everything to see what I needed. He showed me and explained the difference in 3 different electrical box extenders and their uses. Even helped me pick out a 20a outlet and switch and showed and explained a few different ones and let me pick what I thought would work based off that and my use.I was confident in my project before, but even more confident after he helped me, something about a second opinion or giving their advise/past experience can do that it seems. I dont think Ive ever had that happen anywhere (For a long time anyway)If anyone wants to know why I trusted his help. Was because he asked about the year of the house and the garage I was installing it in and knew the current and past code requirements. Along with the dos and donts

They have almost everything you need to fix your home. Their prices are reasonable. Thats if you can find what you want. While the staff is helpful it is sometimes very difficult to find anybody. And without help its next to impossible to find some things. I had this experience this week looking for an mr16 socket for bi-pin 12v halogen bulbs.
