They are pretty good. I would have given them a higher rating if we werent going through a pandemic. Nobody in the staff wore a mask nor reinforced the mask mandate to clients who came in to have their cars serviced. to top it all off - the waiting area is really small, were everybody is less than 6 feet of distance from you.
The owner was very helpful and fair.
I have gone to them to:- Replace front & rear brakes and rotors on my 2007 Honda Pilot & 2009 Toyota Camry .- Replace A/C compressor on Honda PilotEach time i had a great experience.Larry the owner, and Ruddy & Bert who work for him, are all very knowledgeable in their work and stand behind what they do.I recommend them for their quality of work, reasonable prices and very courteous service.
A complete nightmare! I decided to take my car here after reading all the positive reviews. BIG MISTAKE! The owner told me to leave my car on a Thursday and that he would have it fixed by Friday. Friday went by, no word from them. I called several times, only to find out they were too busy to even look at it. Saturday afternoon came, I called again and was told that they couldnt fix it until Monday. Monday afternoon I called and was told it would be ready by 5:00pm that day. I show up at 5:00pm and they tell me its still not ready and to come back the next day! Now, I completely understand that auto repair shops can be extremely busy, however, why hold my car captive when I can take it somewhere else to get fixed? Mind you, this is ONE repair that shouldnt have taken very long at all. These mechanics are unapologetic and have no consideration for your schedule. They wont even make a simple courtesy phone call to keep you updated on whats going on. Competitive prices? My final bill was almost $100 more than the PRINTED estimate they gave me. I presented them with the original estimate, and still ended up paying the higher bill. You think theyd compensate me for the inconvenience? Nope... they didnt really care.
You tell Larry what noise you hear n where it’s coming from, he say let me check it out then receive a call saying that I found the problem tell how much he fix it then not even a week later you still hear the same noise. You tell him then he act like you didn’t tell him about the issue that you first brought it to him for to tell you again oh I found the problem but it’s gonna cost you more money. He put a used engine in my car never put antifreeze in i. I found out through a coworker that was concerned about me n to make sure my car had the fluids in it n it didn’t even have antifreeze in he just put in a used transmission. This man is not a professional when it comes to work ethics. He’s very pleasant but he isn’t someone who you should take your vehicle to if you need something major to do. That was my experience but it didn’t happen once I had to keep getting things doneeven when he told me everything was ok n I told him don’t rush n I ask do I need a tune-up he said no after checking my car drove to work car started stalling n smoking then he tells me I need a new engine because a hose was rotted n it leaked. I thought I can trust him as a woman it’s hard to find a trustworthy mechanic. I spent over $2300 on my car in it still not fixed.
DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE.NOT TRUSTWORTHY. A**hole Larry sold me a van with no brake pads, brake line was leaking, there was a fuel issue (running lean), a bad tranmission, and the list goes on and on. Told me he so much work to it, just seems like he patched it up to me. $3500 in repairs later and im PISSED. Also was NOT willing to negotiate. Only went down $100. Shouldve known something was up...
