I’ve been to many tattoo shops in my almost 40 years around the sun and let me tell you that Amalia is an amazing artist. I have a full sleeve by her and some small pieces as well. She’s great to deal with and her work is beautiful. I get compliments all the time and have referred many people who also continue to go back to her. She’s a great artist but doesn’t charge outrageous prices. She loves what she does and it shows.

I do not write reviews very often but when I go to a place that deserves a good review I will. Royalty tattoo is one the best tattoo and piercing places on Long Island, they are very professional and make you feel very comfortable. Definitely 10 outta 10 will return

After I almost lost my 3 month old daughter, Amalia worked with me and she came up with this Space Kola, inspired from a hospital gown my daughter wore after surgery. Got my rook and nose pierced and worked quickly. Keeps the nerves down and easy to chat with. Very rude customer service. Shop owner is very rude when answering phone and other messages and questions like on Instagram DM. Glad I went to another tattoo shop down the road where they too agreed and didn’t recommend going to them due to this tattoo shop having to fix artist from Royalty’s mistakes and terrible tattoos.

This is the best tattoo parlor on Long Island. I have been going to Amalia for over 8 years. The place is always clean and the staff is always welcoming, reliable and excited to work with you. Amalia does amazing work, all my tattoos still look new and I am always getting compliments. She also does amazing cover ups! I moved out of state a couple years ago and always make the trip here to get my tattoos, its always worth the travel. You will not regret going here, no one can compete.

I got my cartilage pierced here by Alex, @abruzzbeauty and she did a wonderful and professional job. Made me feel at ease, the cartilage is now healing very well with Alex’s aftercare instructions (it’s been a month), and the environment overall was very friendly and professional, as well as everything was very clean and sanitized. Definitely recommend and would come again!

I should have gone to Amalia to do my original tattoo so I wouldn’t have needed her to cover it up! It came out amazing and I get compliments all the time! Great service, professional; she helped me put my idea on my arm and I couldn’t be happier. She even sent me home with a care package to take care of my new tattoo. The studio was very good at following new COVID rules. I was not even allowed inside before my temperature was taken. This is comforting to know when you are going are entering an area where proper infection protocols are a must. The artist Red was clean, cheerful and accommodating. At no point did I feel my needs were not met. The work was done as I asked promptly and professionally. A good experience.

I have had the pleasure of getting two tattoos from royalty. Both experiences were amazing. I was made to feel heard by the artist as to what I was looking for and the work was fairly priced and both exceeded my expectations. Staff is talented and professional. I totally reccomend especially if you might feel afraid of getting a tattoo. I was made to feel comfortable and safe both times and most of all welcomed.

Hands down best place I have ever been. Staff is very accomidating and talented. Amalia has done some truly amazing work for me over the past 10 yrs, most of her own and even correcting/covering up some previous bad decisions. Her newest apprentice is the only other person to tattoo me over the past 10+ yrs and is following in her foot steps. You will not be disappointed and anyone who says otherwise is probably off their meds.

I happened to find this place through a very close friend. I had one or two tattoos when I went there and now I am fully sleeved on both arms have a tattoo on my back and I’m working on one on my chest. I highly recommend the shop to anyone who is looking to get real legitimate affordable tattoo work done. The staff are pleasant happy and always aiming to please. The shop is very clean makes you kind of feel like home. Because when you get as much work as I have gotten done you are there more than your home.

I am always having people say they love my tattoos. The line work is amazing and so are every detail. The people are so great they treat me like family every time I come in. The atmosphere is fantastic. I can’t ever think about going anywhere else. The shop is always clean I don’t ever have to worry about my tattoos getting infected. They go out of their way to make sure you comfortable and make sure everything is sterile. I STRONGLY recommend going here.

I am so happy I got a tattoo of me and my daughters from Royalty Tattoo. After a lot of research and some personal recommendations from friends I decided to visit Royalty. I wanted a tattoo that was specially personalized for me. It has a lot of sentimental importance for me. And I can say for sure, Amelia, the tattoo artist is amazing. She is very thorough with the detailing and colors. I sat there for close to 2 hours and we completed the entire tattoo in one sitting. I am very glad with the results. The staff is very cordial and the place is clean. Amelia was very polite and professional. I would look no further than this place, if I plan on getting another tattoo in the near future. Excellent workmanship by Amalia, she is my go to tattoo artist . She has done work for both me and my girlfriend with phenomenal details on the work. Amalias lines of the ink work are her go to for making sure the tattoo stands out and the depth of colors that are used are terrific. I have had several peices done by her and never had any problems or infections. The shop is clean and no dirty equipment, all new sterile needles being used and opened right up in front of you during prep up .

Amalia at Royalty Tattoo is an amazing tattoo artist! I first met her 13 years ago for some cover up work she did. She covered up my exes name with a beautiful butterfly and you would never even know!!! Her cover up work is breathtaking to say the least. I’ve since had an entire sleeve done by her and many other tattoos. The atmosphere of the shop is relaxed and has an awesome vibe. Everyone there is warm hearted and approachable, which I feel is hard to find at many shops. Royalty tattoo is a nice tattoo shop. Ive gotten over 5 tattoos now from there and I expect to go back. The artists there are nice and easy to talk to which makes getting the tattoos easier knowing I can feel comfortable. The shop is clean and organized which is a big plus. Ive gotten my tattoos from pugg and he seems very easy going and takes his tattoos serious. His artistic skills are great and he makes the tattoos to my liking. I recommend everyone to go visit royalty tattoos for their tattoo ideas and I know you will have a great experience as I have everytime. I come from Queens to get my done and it is worth every mile.

Horrible experience in every way possible. Although the staff was very nice, the tattoo artist is insane. Some underage girls came into the store with their mom to get piercings they were turned away (understandable), but then when they left, the wind closed the door a little hard, so she started yelling and chased after them while screaming at them immature. Then she proceeded to berate my daughter for letting her piercing close so we went to another store up the road and they inserted a piercing within a second. It had not closed. In the course of fifteen minutes of being in the store, she yelled at four customers.

Honestly this place saved my arm and redid some tattoos and i finished my sleeve and am movin in to the next arm! I receive so many compliments about the work done and Amalia and her team are absolutely amazing!! Definitely recommend this establishment to anyone looking to get a tattoo!!!

I came here for my first tattoo yesterday (May 2018) and I can’t thank Royalty Tattoo for making me feel so incredibly comfortable.They are extremely professional and kind, caring considerate especially Bree. Will did my tattoo beautifully. I cannot express how I happy I am I will be backEDIT:I came back here August 2018 to get a huge sternum/rib piece. While my tattoo is not BAD by any means, it is not even CLOSE to my reference which at this point I am now considering removal. I partially blame myself for not walking out of the shop as soon as the stencil was drawn up. However I feel the need to disclose this information because when I told my artist I wanted fine line, she told me “fine line does not exist”, instead of being honest and telling me she was not capable of doing it.

Amalia has done all of my work since my first walk in in 2011. She is currently working on a half sleeve and she does phenomenal work. I am constantly getting complicated about my tattoos. Everyone I have sent to her loves her work!

DO NOT RECOMMEND! If you like drama, or your artist to talk bad about everyone, then I would recommend. Shes the only artist, no one wants to work there, not to mention shes only opened on the weekends..When she is opened shes always late just like all her workers. Shell print out a picture that someone else already made and traces it. Its also an animal shelter and thrift store. Dont know how the board of health hasent shut this place down. She uses her employees and doesnt pay them what they deserve. Not to mention, shes the ONLY tattoo shop on long island that someone overdosed and died in her chair while getting tattooed. Overall HORRIBLE place, HORRIBLE staff. The lost sparrow down the street is open all the time.

Hands down the CLEANEST, most professional tattoo parlor Ive ever been to. I had been to write a few before I met Amalia at least 15 years ago. Since our very first meeting I knew I would never let anyone else tattoo me for the rest of my life. Not only is Amalia amazing but she finds the most respectful and talented staff there is. I refer everyone who asks about my ink to her. To this day, I think at least 12 people took my advice and will now never go anywhere else. I LOVE Amalia & everyone over at royalty tattoo ! I first went to Amalia years back for a cover up tattoo. I was nervous to get this specific tattoo done because a cover up isn’t always easy. I heard great things regarding this shop & after looking up reviews I was SOLD. I went in the day of, not knowing what to choose as my cover up piece. Amalia sat with me for what seemed like forever ( I’m picky lol). She drew up several designs and didn’t give up until I was satisfied. Her patience proving that she cared about the customers happiness. She executed the cover up perfectly. So perfect people actually don’t realize it’s even a cover up. :)Years later, I’ve gotten ALL my work done by her and I have recommended the shop to several of my friends, who were all just as happy afterwards as well.The shop is clean, the staff is all very welcoming and kind & Amalia’s work is professional, the line work is clean and the overall tattoo is done wonderful, EVERY TIME !!♥️♥️♥️♥️ thank you royalty tattoo !!

Royalty Tattoo has been my one and only tattoo place! Amalia’s art work is impeccable, lines are straight, coloring is even and she makes it such a fun environment to get a tattoo done. Never going to another tattoo parlor!!

I dont know about their tattoos, but /never/ go here for a piercing. They have not a single clue about what they are doing when it comes to piercing even if it sounds like they do, they messed up the piercing i got more than once. They replaced one of my piercings with poor quality jewelry and told me what i had in there was wrong. Several other piercing places told me what I originally had in there was right and what they gave me cause my piercing to get infected. All my other piercings done at high quality places never became infected, and Im personally not prone to infections either and heal very easily. Royalty gives extremely wrong information on how to take care of a piercing, and do not pierce well. It is not worth getting a cheaper piercing that will be done wrong, because youll end up paying more than 40 anyway to get it redone. Go somewhere really proper the first time which usually has a starting price of 60 for a piercing because they are providing you with proper jewerly and save your money from places like these.

They always make me feel welcomed and like family. Everyone is so nice and friendly, they will do just about anything to give you the tattoo you want and make it even better! I will never go anywhere else besides here
