I have been ordering from this awesome bagel deli for many weeks now. Its by far the most enjoyable. Bagels are cooked well and tasty. Salads are delicious and the grilled chicken and the fried chicken cutlets are better than most Italian stores. They are delicious. All breakfast foods are delicious too. They are so nice, and Im picky about my food and how I order. They care about the customer and are always willing to help please you. They work hard... everything is always fresh. They take pride and its noticeable. I love ordering here and giving them my business. They deserve the support.

I came into the store last week purchased a bagel and a chicken sandwich which was amazing. I returned this week and purchased the same sandwich also a tuna sandwich, when I got to work I found out that they heated the chicken up without me asking. The chicken was very hard, you just couldnt bit into the rap. Two days later I returned to the store and I asked to speak to the person who made my order the manager was standing there and she heard me talking the about the order, she came over and started to yell at both of us. I told her I dont know whats your problem but Im just having a conversation with the woman about my order from the other day, she was going on about my husband coming into the store and complaining about the sandwich. I told Imy husbandnever came there she said they had a similar situation that week with someone about a sandwich I told her that has nothing to do with me but this manager had a total meltdown and she storm out of the area to the back of the store. I could not believe her behavior infront of her employees and customers. I cant believe this store has her for a manager. I was never a person that shopped in that bagel store that was my second time. I enjoyed my sandwich and bagel that I purchased the first time thats why I returned the second time and my order was not all bad only the chicken rap was but when I returned to talk to the person that made the order for me and the manager went off on me that change it for me. I cant go back there.

Placed a small order online for three breakfast boxes, and it wasn’t received at all after more than an hour. I called the store to inquire, and the employee who answered the phone was very rude, stating, “We’re doing the best we can.” She also couldn’t tell me when it would be received.On a separate occasion, I went to the store at 5 am, when it is supposed to be open, according to the lighted sign on the building and the written sign on the door. The place was dark and nobody answered the phone when I called.Very poor service! There are plenty of other bagel stores in the area to choose from.

I placed an order online and it was not ready nor received.Person at the front register who appeared to be the owner was handling food and was covering his mouth and coughing on to his hands then touching the bags of food. Not happy with the service here. Will not be returning.

This place has good food, makes the best bagels and the employees are the best their always caring and treat the customers really nice. I go here almost everyday to buy food.

Third and last time I will be going here. Yet to come here without having to correct the order and the prices are ridiculous for the subpar quality. Unless getting a cake (which are amazing.) Stay away from the bagel/deli side.

Service is always pleasant and prompt. Shop is very clean and staff is very good about changing their gloves when handling food vs money. Also, their special of buy one dozen get 6 free on Wednesday is very much appreciated by my staff!

Great prices. I love bagels. NY bagels are the best. I always enjoy getting a breakfast sandwich here. It replaced the deli that had been in East Northport for years, but its better, cleaner, and in a new building so I cant complain. Egg bagels are really good here. I like that there is a seating area. The salads here are pretty good, but are better at other delis.

Bagels are REALLY GOOD! Recommend the Cinnamon Raisin or Onion bagel, both taste amazing.

Everytime I order an egg sandwich they put cheese on it even though I never mention cheese and I don’t want cheese. Every. Single. Time. They don’t write down my order because they think it’s simple yet it’s made incorrectly every time. Also the manager took my order one time walked away and I had to wait another five minutes for someone else to take my order. Will not be going back

Was much much better before the place was sold.Now? I mean the bagels arent bad (not sure if its a new recipe or not) the service isnt terrible, but, its just a diffrent vibe I guess?The old staff was personable, knew your order when you got to the register after a 25 minute wait on line that you didnt mind, and things just hummed along better it seemed.I do still frequent here but mainly because the closest bagel place up Larkfield is horrible. If I have the time, Ill end up on Commack Road for my bagels.

I like the place. Most bad reviews on here are whining about 10 minute wait times...you people are such babies. Food takes time to make and theres always a line. Suck it up, youre supposed to be adults. Only ever had one wrong order, and they not only replaced the bagel, but gave extras and a couple cookies to say sorry. Only place Ill go as long as I live here; its good service.

Best bagel spot. Guys are all super friendly. I stop in to get ice coffee before all my shifts at the hospital. Bagels are awesome and they have good sandwiches too. When my friends from off Long Island visit they immediately request we grab LI bagels from bagel cafe.

I usually never leave a negative review but after years of patronage, I think management or something may have changed. I bought a bunch of rainbow bagels for the kids and other sandwiches. The orders were wrong, which sometime can happen, but everyone that ate the rainbow bagels got seriously ill, and the dye left a lasting impact lets just say... It was like they used the wrong dye or 20x the amount they were supposed to. Everyone had gastro issues for a week with visible evidence. Not sure if will go back.

The best of many bagel shops in the area. Soups, salads, breakfast, sandwiches, and of course, Bagels. Lots of varieties. Lots of varieties of cream cheese too. Whenever the family and I come home from wherever weve just been on vacation, before we go home, (because lets face it the cupboards are bare) we stop here. Not just egg sandwiches, but French toast platters, or pancakes, bacon and home fries. Always a treat. Love this place.

Busy means good bagels? Decent bagels, average priced, pretty quick to help you at the counter. Friendly people. High school students take up the seating area on Friday mornings.

I have been going to LIBC for a while. First the food is awesome, great breakfast and lunch options! The best is the current management and employees, they are fantastic. Each time I come into the store the employees are friendly, kind and attentive to their customers. The manager Mike is top notch, he treats everyone with respect and has set a great tone for his employees. LIBC is fantastic!

I can’t understand why this place and many others don’t change their gloves when making each individuals order. Gloves aren’t to protect your hands from dirty money but to keep our food clean.-Service is sub par and many have an attitude. The glove thing drives me crazy. Handles cash and coins then takes next order.

I dont usually post reviews, actually this might be my first time. However I feel as though an establishment that by far exceeded my expectations is absolutely worthy of positive feedback. I have been a long time customer and each and every time my order is done correct and most importantly delicious. I adore the entire staff as do my little kiddies. As we are waiting for our food, sometimes my kids are offered a small cup of croutons or something to occupy them. I know moms could relate to how awesomely helpful that can be. Although Ive been a customer for a long time now, in the recent months Greg has become the manager and he also immediately began treating my family as wonderfully as the rest of the staff. I agreed to chairing the largest event at my childrens school and part of it required trying to have a local business donate food for the kids. Of course I thought of the bagel cafe immediately. When I asked Greg if they would be interested I could barely finish asking when he had already happily agreed to help anyway they could. Thank you so much to the Bagel Cafe and Greg for providing the best bagels to the kiddies, they were thoroughly enjoyed. Im adjusting yet to my recent gluten free diet which is tough when you love bagels. Lol! What has really surpassed my expectations was the fact that Greg has been working with vendors trying to offer us gluten free people good stuff too. Every now and then when Im in they having something set aside for me to try. I then give my opinion as to if it was good. I mean you simply cant ask for a place and people to treat you better! So glad East Northpor has the bagel cafe.....oh I also love that the pics on the walls are of children within our community enjoying the best bagels!

Place has gone down over the years. Been through a few owners. The new one you can tell he has no idea what to do. He knows how to count the money at the register though. The other day I got there at 2:45pm. They close at 3. After waiting for 15 mins They told me they close at 3 and had to go. Easier to just lock the door and serve the people who are waiting. Still ok food though

This is my favorite deli and bagel spot. I know there is a bagel place on almost every corner or plaza and everyone has thier favorite but this place has eveything. I love the super friendly staff and the bagels are fresh. They are hot if you get here about 530am. They open at 5am. My all time favorite is an egg bagel with chicken salad. I live in Connecticut and everytime Im on the island I go here. I even have my boyfriend stop in and get me a pound of it before he visits me. They offer hand mixed cream cheeses in favors like strawberry ( it has real fresh berries in it), cinnamon raisin, lox, and veggie to name a few I have tried. They are all fresh and delicious. This place has a large deli case and it is loaded with fresh and delicious salads and spreds. You guys rock! Keep up the great work! 😁🤓

Management really needs to train its staff to change their gloves after they handle money. Its unsanitary, I should have told him to keep the food instead I threw it out myself. This is the main reason no one in my office goes here anymore, because all of us have experienced this issue.

I walked into the store about 7:15 on a Friday November 18th. I was behind one person they Completed his order. You would think someone out of the 5-7 people working behind the counter would take my order next that didnt happen mind you their are 5-7 people behind the counter some people no one took my order or looked my way. While I was waiting to place my order some of the employees looked at me and continued to do what their was doing before. I can see some employees eating food in the front while Im waiting. After about 3-4 mins of waiting I asked the guy why no one was taking orders he responded I didnt know you was waiting I then replied I waited on line to order my food. Now this is about 10 mins after I walked into the store. I told the guy its okay Im not hungry anymore. I would never go back to bagle cafe after the experience I had today. I cant believe this is how you treat people who spend their hard earned money with your business.

Overpriced. Manager was rude. Ask for extra bacon and get 2 slices. Hash browns? Nope. Only home fries with overcooked onions. Plenty of Bagel Delis on Larkfield. Skip this one.

Definitely the Best bagel/breakfast place around by far!...& only ordered deli sandwiches a few times & they were great too!I know my order may be a lil particular pain in the ass, but Cindy ALWAYS goes above & beyond...Not only getting it better than right, shell even start it as soon as she sees me (just asks me how many, bc I get for multiple people) without me having to tell anyone or write it down!Couldnt ask for or expect better service anywhere!All the workers really seem to work their butts off & the prices w/everything (especially things like omelette, breakfast boxes, etc) are great! I Cant believe someone said they were overpriced!...pespecially compared to other places around here that arent 1/4 as good & are more expensive!My mom is the big coffee drinker of the family (small coffee even comes w/breakfast!) & just about every time she takes a sip says This is the best coffee Ive ever had! Lol.This place is about a mile from my house (not that its far) & I choose going there rather than the 3-4 places basically right on my block bc of how exceptional they are!

Was in the other day and i stood on line for about 5 minutes while the manager was joking with the staff about going home. People were whizzing by cleaning the store and getting ready to close while I stood there without being helped by everyone including the manager. I eventually walked out because it got uncomfortable. To be honest, its no big loss because I have been here before and was not impressed--it was the only place open that day.

We walked in this morning with Dunkin Donuts coffee cups (as we were running errands earlier and stopped for coffee) and the manager says to us in a snarky tone Did you know we sell coffee here as well. I guess they dont want my business if we come in with coffee from another company. Rude, we wont be back!

I will never go back to this place not only are the people they are incredibly rude, the manager Greg is one of the rudest people Ive ever encountered in my entire life! I would give you zero stars if I could. The food is not that good and they are as slow as molasses. Totally not worth it! Somebody needs to straighten out this guy Greg!
