Good bagels and sandwiches. High quality soups too. I like to get the Southern Tradition with bacon and cheddar on a toasted everything. The egg is quite fluffy and a little dry but the bacon, cheese, and bagel are great so it’s fine. I get this sandwich at least once a week and I love it. Though, the best bagel sandwich is when you buy their everything bagel, make your own bacon and over medium fried egg and Sargento smokehouse cheddar. Great place for breakfast and lunch.

Had a northern omelet and a mocha iced espresso. Both were fantastic, prices were decent (on par with other bagel places, though I felt like this sandwich was bigger than I normally get), and we got our food fast. I particularly like the iced coffee, and the everything bagel I got my sandwich on was very well seasoned. Well definitely stop in the future when were looking for a quick breakfast in the area.

Great bagels, huge amount of cream cheese (about 6-10 flavor profiles too), quick service, and the lattes are pretty tasty too! I havent had the bagels here since I used to get them from my work on Tuesdays (aww I miss those days) and they always have been very fresh and very tasty

The bagels were decent. I threw the coffee away; it was like drinking brown coffee-flavored water. Their customer service leaves much to be desired. They didn’t give us napkins or a knife, forgot our cream cheese, and did not slice nor toast our bagels. I felt like I was inconveniencing them.

Best bagels and cream cheese. Personal favs are blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese and salt bagel with scallion cream cheese. I dont eat muffins but my daughter loves the muffins and bagels too.

One of my favorite places for breakfast food. Just know they go heavy on the cream cheese, but I always ask for light cream cheese and it’s the perfect amount! Try the cheddar herb bagel with veggie cream cheese!

Im so used to the Mt. Pleasant Big Apple just blowing me away that this Big Apple really pales in comparison. The staff..do their jobs and thats it. They dont seem like morning people. The staff if Mt P make conversation with the customer and with each other and its overall a good vibe. Here I feel like any extra comment I make is annoying to them. She hands me my coffee and I say thanks, and she just goes yup. I cant even get a have a good day?

You can never go wrong with any of the bagels, and the coffee flavors are always good. Highly recommend going here for a pick-me-up and change of pace from your usual coffee routine.

Great spot for bagel sandwiches. Sometimes the wait is super long and the cashiers could be a bit more friendly. I still dig it. This is the only Big Apple in town!

Bagel are delicious but wS there half hour ago. Got the 18 bagel special. Lady couldnt count. We got 16 instead if 18. And almost forgot our cream cheese was not a happy camper. Since I live in perry and didnt reize till got home wasnt going back.

I wish I could give this business a zero. I tried Big Apple Bagels for the first and last time today. The food is awful, especially if youre a native New Yorker who knows what a bagel is suppose to look, smell, and taste like. The bagels are terribly gummy with no flavor and they are small. Their version of the NYC bodega and food truck breakfast special sausage, egg, and cheese is repulsive. They use boxed eggs, they dont add salt and pepper, and its scrambled when it should be over hard. I could on, but do yourself a favor and dont eat there.

This place was an absolute joke. They open at 6 am. I called 7 times for a catering lunch order with no answer. The phone seems to not work at this business so if you are trying to place an order via phone, go somewhere else or save yourself some time and don’t even try.

I was there in January 2019. Both bagels I tried were delicious, one was a bagel sandwich, with omelette and sausage, the other was just a bagel with one of their many cream cheese options (they have at least 8 different ones, the cheddar jalapeno one that I tried was great). I especially recommend it if you like a lot of cream cheese on your bagels.Coffee was good too, fairly inexpensive. I tried the roast of the day, which was Vanilla Nut.I have nothing bad to say about it!

Awesome place and amazing service. They deal with super rude people (a few of those 1 star reviews from today even) very well. entitled people trying bully their way into getting things all the while the staff is maintaining a professional demeanor.

Bagels are excellent. Staff is super friendly. I love the box with 12 bagels, 2 cream cheeses, and 8 muffins. They arrange it very nicely and its easy to transport to functions. I definitely recommend this when feeding a group!

Big Apple Bagels is the best bagel store in East Lansing. But, with that previous comment in mind, the past few years have not been well for Big Apple. They have had a hard time finding consistent, high-quality workers. Hopefully that will/has changed over the past year, as I have had to frequent it less and less. I wish them the best in their endeavors

Its always busy there no matter what. However they have a trained crew and it goes by very quick. My favorite is the Big Apple Club on a cheddar melt bagel

TERRIBLE. I just stopped here to get a bagel and coffee for my 2 hour trip back home. I got a coffee and a bagel with chocolate chip cream cheese, and whatever they gave me was pure garlic. Its so gross I cant even eat it. And I cant turn back or Ill be late for work. First and LAST time Ill be going here. So disappointed. Makes sense, the two behind the counter werent paying any attention, didnt even realize my order ticket popped up. Spent $8 on something I cant even eat. 😡 and the coffee? 2 INCHES of room? Whip cream doesnt take up that much space.

Coffee could be a bit better (its always colder than other places, like it was made and then sat out for like 15 mins and cooled down) but overall not bad. I love the turkey club bagel thing here. So good.

Spicy cheese was great BUT, dont wrap a warm bagel in plastic (makes it soft) and you should transition to real eggs

I have been coming to BAB for the last 6 months or so and I have never had a bad experience. The food and drink are great! The staff are friendly, efficient, and very welcoming! I have made this an at least 3 times a week stop.

This store has wonderful bagels with cream cheese and sandwiches. I do wish there were more Big Apple bagel shops in Lansing, particularly in Delta Township.

If you want bagels in East Lansing, do not go anywhere other than Big Apple. Over a dozen types of bagels and nearly a dozen flavors of cream cheese. Simply the best!

I dont usually review businesses unless they really stand out and Big Apple Bagels does just that. My first visit was on Xmas Eve morning and they were really busy but were able to get my order to me surprising fast. I ordered breakfast sandwiches and they tasted great. I visited again today and ordered another sandwich and this is why Im writing a review. The sandwich was toasted perfectly and the amount of ham and cream cheese they put on was generous and the price was more than fair. Plus they include a pickle spear and bagel chips with their sandwiches also which is a nice touch. Definitely will be skipping over some of the chain eateries for Big Apple Bagels from now on.

If you like bagels and coffee, this is your place! Fresh, hot coffee with a large variety of fresh-made, tasty bagels (including a nice variety of breakfast and lunch special bagel sandwiches) and friendly, efficient service. Definitely one of the staples of the East Lansing area - you may at times experience a wait, but well worth it and an indicator that you are in a good place!

The bagels are good, and the variety of both the bagels and cream cheese is really fun. The employees are always nice as well. It can be busy at times though!

Always great service and normally have what I want in stock. Their cinnamon sugar bagel is sooooo good, as is their poppy seed. Dozens are around $8.99 if you go a certain day of the week, and they keep well in the freezer. Only issue is they charge you for slicing, which seemed kind of unusual to me. When I did get them sliced once, they were very uneven and got kinda roasted in the freezer :(

I love BABs;however, lately its been the absolute worse I order from them quite regularly on my way to class. Lately though i will get to class and find that i have the wrong order the wrong muffin or sandwich. This is totally unacceptable. I have tried communicating with the restrant but i always get sent to voice mail and their mailbox is always full. 1 out of 10 stars. I will be getting my bagels elseware.

Food was just ok.

Even though it was busy in there, they took my order quickly and I received my bagel and latte fast. The only thing is I wish they had white chocolate cream cheese available (the BAB in my hometown had it and it was decadent!).

Fast coffee options for those in a hurry. Or maybe order some bagels and enjoy them at the store. Its a little small, but comfortable.

Not sure whats going on with these reviews, but Big Apple Bagels is great. I go every Friday morning. There are sometimes long lines early in the day, but thats because the food/coffee is good! Its not the staffs fault.They have a variety of cream cheese flavors, and I like the coffe as well. Its my go to morning breakfast place.

They supply bagels to businesses in need of stuffing face. I had the opportunity and pleasure to stuff face with an assortment of big Apple bagels. 10/10 would use organic cream cheese again. Call them for catering, or stop in and stuff face.

I’ve been here twice. The first time, it took them 10 minutes to make a sandwich. The second time, there were two workers on-shift, and the only thing they wanted to talk about was how high they were last night, and who they buy their drugs from. If it’s a small shop, where everyone can hear your conversation, it doesn’t leave a great image.

I have always loved their bagels when we came up to Michigan for vacation and when we eventually moved up here I was on the hunt for one and found it and they did not disappoint
