Im not an experienced shopper but was able to navigate the store fairly easily. When I had a question I had quick friendly assistance. Good experience all around.Also, for the area, they have their recycling equipment running just one of the few that are allowing returns. Theyre are some guidelines,bring a mask and some patience.

Great prices, great selection, clean and tidy store, friendly staff. Overall a great experience. These Garafalo family owned Shoprites are some of the best Ive seen.

I am not local to CT, so the first thing I had to get used to was the sticker shock of how much groceries cost. That was the most notable item of the visit. The rest was...meh.

The store itself is great - however the home delivery for groceries is getting the one star. I have had multiple issues with the products given - rotten meat, rotten produce, spoiled milk, and today cheese that was 2 weeks past the sell by date. I will never ever use the home delivery service again. This is ur customers hard earned money and this service should be 100% customer satisfaction.

A great gourmet grocery store! The staff are incredibly helpful and sweet and theres a huge selection of items, from routine to fun and fancy. Definitely recommend!

Great staff. Really fresh food and the store bakery is awesome! Only thing I mark the store down for is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. I dont fault the employees, management is should be able to schedule regular cleaning. In fact I feel sorry for the employees using this restroom, parents with small children using this bathroom, and any food shopper hoping to practice good hygiene. Not sure the temperature of the automatic faucets water meets health codes.

Not a lot of selections for superior foods. Seems to cater to low budget items.

Its a supermarket. I picked up tuna, a couple of rolls and they even had plastic utensils. It was great to get away for less than $6 for lunch.

Its a madhouse, but organized. Pasta shelves are bare. Everyone making lasagna. Each getting around, and opened a checkout just in front of me. Like this store. Everyone so pleasant. Happy Holidays to all.

Love this store, clean, and generally not real busy. Ease in cashing out..although self checkout should be allowed for over 20 items.

I have been going to ShopRite/grade a since I was in my teens. Im so pleased that now theyre shoprites all over Connecticut. They have excellent quality food, great sales and their management and customer service are excellent. I would highly recommend going to any ShopRite

Well stocked, well organized and prices are good.

Poor service at recycling center. Waiting for over 1 hour and 1/2, workers are no where to be found. Very horrible, terrible, obnoxious, service. Hot and sweating, terrible.

This place was crowded. Not sure if it was because it was a weekend. Sunday at 5ish. The staff is friendly. My cashier was especially sweet. Glad they had multiple registers open and that they were pretty well stocked. Store was clean as well. Just lots of people.

Great place to shop

This store has a great variety of items.They are a little high in price.Being disabled as I am, I appreciate the electric scooters they make available in plenty of supply.Although the attendant could do a better job of organizing instead of being on her cell phone.I would recommend this store for your shopping.Unfortunately,they now have a limited supply of electric scooters available and they make no effort to check the parking lot to see if other disabled people left them there.The counter at the door is very discourteous and should not be working there.

Always keeo an eye out for good deals. Its over all a pretty great experience though a few times have had issues with mispriced items or a member of staff adimently telling me she gave me the right change and even had to call a manager who said I was right (an item rang up wrong so I went to the help desk to have it fixed to which I had to return it and exchange it for the correct item. She gave a refund and wouldnt honor the coupon I used since I already used it so I already had the discount taken out of my total which was incorrect she refunded the original item price and didnt include a refund for the discount or return of the coupon and was quite rude and quite honestly wasnt listening because she felt she was right until the manager came over and said she was wrong. Whoever the lady is she doesnt just work at the help desk I see her all over the front end but she is the only reason I dont want to give a 5 star review. If you are working at the custimer service desk and a customer says something you dont think is right you dont talk condescendingly and get flustered at the customer you remain calm and if its not getting through to the customer you call a manager.

Havent been to a Shop Rite in a while. Not since I worked at one at least. Anyway 5 stars I just started going here but hear me out... the selections of meat is plenty. Found some drinks I never thought Id ever see. Helpful staff (on their second day believe me I know how that goes) not to mention cheerful staff in general. The place is spotless (couldnt check the box crusher tho lol) Everyone this is not your Walmart or your local stop and shop. This is shoprite they have family values. Ill be coming back.

Products always in stock and if not, you can get a rain check to use the following week at the sale price. You can use store coupons as well as paper coupons to save extra money on their already low prices and sale items. Theyre taking precautions seriously for employees and customers to ensure safety by wearing masks, gloves, and disinfecting carts as well as registers. The employees are very personable and helpful, too. This is my go-to store for all my household needs.

Always is a good place to shop

I had at least three items that they did not have in stock not to mention that they were very many empty spaces on the shelves and when I went to get my orange juice I found several that were outdated by one week. I am very disappointed I usually shop here regularly.

ShopRite of East haven is one supermarket that I do not like shopping at a few ppl/workers are rude and they will brush you off when asked a question, I wont go see a few of the managers because some are just as bad, today was my last time spending my money there, Im going to stop & shop or Walmart! No star for shopRite at all! Btw shopRite wont let me not leave a star blank! Wow so 1 star, but against my will

I am leaving only 3 stars and not because of the products or anything like that but because of how many people there allowing in the store at ounce. I went yesterday because of the amazing sale that is going on and I had to leave because my anxiety started because there were sooooooo many people in there. Couldn’t even find a parking spot. The way things are going today and how COVID is spreading like crazy they should be counting the people that go in and out of the store. Going down the aisle there was no way of keeping 6 feet from other people. So I could not stay in there. I have family who is high risk and can’t jeopardize them. I love shop rite They have amazing sales the products are great but definitely not ok with how many people they are allowing in the store at a time. My opinion.

I like the club store items that are offered to customers without having to pay membership prices ( for instance, Sams Club). You can get the big packages of frozen food, items containers of mayo, etc. AND purchase STURDY shopping bags. Not the flimsy shopping bags that are available at other stores.Weekly sales are excellent with affordable prices. The weekly digital and the print coupons offer extra savings. Really hard working employees whenever I shop at the store.

Always nice and clean but they rarely have ink in their machines to print out a receipt that you can read. But the staff is nice and friendly.

Its an okay Shoprite. Last time I went there was an offensive customer who ended up spitting on the floor, but they were quick to sanitize, and since then its been pretty chill.

It is so clean. The people are so nice here that was 3 months ago. Now I have to change my 🌟. With all the covid-19 going on Im so upset with east haven to see the ShopRite like this so dirty. The people are still nice. But the bathroom was not clean since a Sunday am and I went in on a Monday night. I couldnt believe how dirty health say not. Please clean the bathroom the right way. I bet they have covid-19 in this bathroom. Just look at the bathroom and you tell me.

Nice and clean! But they need MORE CASHIER LANES open during the week after work more people are doing smaller shopping..especially during our Rona.cmon duh..

Good experience, got my wife a Beautiful vase of flowers she was so excited when she saw them, the funny thing is I went for something else but when I saw the flowers I had get one for my sweetheart. Thanks shop rite for another satisfied customer.

I went into the store this morning and I had a question. The young lady that I told was a front end manager was very rude and I had to report her to her manager. Later I tried calling Shoprite of East Haven. The automation is terrible!!! It’s hard to get to speak to a human being. It would easier to try to reach the president. The system needs to be done over.

This is where I like to do my food shopping. Its clean, employees and friendly and helpful and I could find most of what Im looking for.

This review pertains to the shop @ home experience and customer service. My experience today was complete TRASH! I called the store to check if my online order was ready for pickup. I was told my Rob, yes your order is ready. I get to the store only to be informed that they did not receive the items of my online order. NO APOLOGY! JUST ATTITUDE FROM ROB. I go in the store to complain to a manager 🙄. A very timid assistant manager comes out t o listen to my complaint who had the look on his face of No Concern. Dont waist your time with online ordering, they list items on the site that are most times not available in the store. Unprofessional!

The convenience of navigating for products and services are excellent. The meats display of pricing is very affordable.

The only reason i shop at this store is prices, its not for a pleasant atmosphere. Workers dont seemed to care 1 bit about the jobs that they perform, they are always miserable and not helpful. The new self check out is a joker, the whole process just doesnt flow, everyone using them need help all the time. They are always stocking shelves at the most busiest times, with pallets and employees in the way and they act like you are in their way. This store could use some first class management to oversee the whole operations.

The last two times I went to this store, the employee who was counting shoppers at the entry door were wearing their Covid 19 masks as chin guards. Management spoke to them after I brought it to their attention. Then next time I went, a different store greeter employee, same thing, chin guard. This store is near Eastern Circle where there was a death from Covid, so yes, it is in a vulnerable place. The Management needs to get on top of this supervise it like our lives depended on it.

Have used their catering services for the past 3 years now for our Christmas dinner. They do not disappoint!! Great food and quality and presentation!! My mother was very impressed and nothing impresses her. Way to go Shop Rite East Haven!!The store also carries hard to find items that their competitors do not.

Great grocery store around the corner from my moms house. Plenty of parking and usually the flyer is full of deals on things we need. I really do love the deli and prepared food section where they have a great variety on dinner options for the person on the go.

We shop at ShopRite frequently. We find their Seafood Department very good with above the normal variety. Fresh clean and fair in price. Had dungenous crab yesterday, delicious.

Rude cashiers and staff. Constantly turned away from deli before 10! One time I was told the deli closes at 10 the other 930. Overcharged me for an item and was given an attitude about it. I could’ve asked for it for free but all I wanted was for them to honor the price displayed. This is why I go to big y. Garbage employees who don’t no a thing about customer service

Fairly large store right on Rt 80. The parking lot is horrible. The store itself is actually one of the nicer ones. Its large, has a good selections. Prices are lower than the competition. Seafood is usually fresh. Produce is meh but better than average. No self checkout is a big minus (but I get why they dont have it) but the staff have their own unique personalities which we like.

I used to do my shopping online with this store which is like two minutes from my home. Today I found out they blocked me from entering the webpage, and I called and they were indifferent letting me on the line waiting and finally hanging up the phone. They lose business, I buy from somewhere else.

They are on point with following safe practises and are keeping shelves filled as best as possible.

Very nice store, Im not the person that usually does the shopping but when I do, I go to this specific Shop Rite, its convenient location wise and I am able to get whatever is on my shopping list. Bakery has very good selection of breads. The staff us superb! I give this Shop Rite stars
