This store is very clean with a friendly staff and great sales. If theyre out of something, theyll it for you and honor any sales prices that were going on at the time they were out. They have a good selection of conventional and organic products, though their organics tend to be a bit higher than some other stores. Overall, though, shopping here is a good experience.

My favorite grocery store in the area. I do most of my grocery shopping here. Decent prices. Good quality. Not as cheap as aldis but has a better selection.

I like shopping here because it is really close by but I did notice a few times if you use self check out they do “Stereotype “they will be watching the entire time the screen once you are done paying they will back up. Although there are other people using the self check out. I seen how they will look at you up and down and quickly watch diligently as soon as you walk up to scan your own products. I seen them doing this Quite a few times. The reason for the review. Also they need to learn how to greet people and give people attention when they’re at the register cashiers will talk with other employees rather then make sure the customer is attended.

The Deli department used to be greatNow it is staffed with individuals that are so slow and incompetent. No matter how many customers, it takes forever to get service.Too bad.

Rather go to Manchester, was checking out and asked a young man named Colby to put in a Shop& rite card in for me. He hardly acknowledged me and said no I cant do that. Idk if it was because he was in a personal conversation with a female co-worker or just didnt want to be bothered. Either way it was terrible customer service. When I go to Manchester Stop Rite, the kids working in the front of the store cant help enough. Keep up the good work Manchester.

It was a pleasant experience for the most part, store was very clean, I watched the 2 woman and one guy working with customers in the deli. once one of the ladies finished she never came and ask whos next? She stayed hidden the the next lady who did help me with a angry look never greeted me after me was another customer who she knew by name and greeted him with a smile. I find that to be very rude and I did nothing to deserve that. 😑

ShopRite in easthartford is the best supermarket to go-to get all your needs..i love the muffin tops, and all the different types of pies.and numerous types of freshly baked bread.you cant go wrong when you go to SHOPRITE EASTHARTFORD.

Every time I come to this grocery store, everything is well stocked and the employees are friendly. Make sure you sign up for their store loyalty card so you get all the sale prices. On my last trip, I spent $17 after a total savings of $10. Cant beat that! Obviously you wouldnt come here if you dont live in the area, but if youre in the Glastonbury or East Hartford area, its worth doing your grocery shopping here.

Be prepared to be treated like you’re a drug dealer if you use the pharmacy here, because half of the customers here probably are. I never have dropped off a prescription and been given the 3rd degree like I was here, with the pharmacist holding up the prescription to the light, checking the security features. As if she assumed it was fake. My psychiatrist is elderly and has a waiver that allows him to write paper prescriptions. She finally looked him up and saw he has a waiver that allows him to write paper prescriptions. After observing some of the other clientele I can understand why she would act this way though. Never using this pharmacy again, I was very surprised that the head pharmacist was not familiar with my doctor, who’s practice is just down the road in Glastonbury and whom every pharmacist in Glastonbury is familiar with, and it’s clearly because his clients go to better pharmacies than this one inside ShopRite.

Ive been a loyal Shoprite customer for years and I have been very disappointed with this store the last few trips I have made. The produce is awful, I refuse to buy their meat it has a funny taste. The items are often mispriced, the check out lines are very slow. The cashiers are rude and very slow. Ive waited for 20 minutes for 2 people with half carriages to be checked out. The cashiers dont apologize for the wait or even greet you.

Last week I watched two self proclaimed “owners” ( one male and one female) stand around and watch their staff scramble to fix an issue. I further watched as the female owner scolded and degraded a customer who was complaining about the thirty minutes wait to pick up her groceries. The female owner was completely out of line. The shop from home employees are stressed and over worked. They have no support from their owners/management. The owners should be leading by example and jump in to help their teams when their are issues. Instead they stood around watching their staff do all the work. Awful! Finding another grocery pick up service now.

My experience was really a unfair experience I went to the customer service counter told the young lady I was next and she still proceeded to take care of two people in front of me when I brought this to the managers attention he did nothing either I followed up by calling the store manager of another store and express my unfair treatment to them they did follow up with my complaint and then they chopped it up to the young lady was having an off day I think it was for a different reason but I can either say it here nor there but thats my feeling so after I use this inexpensive gift card they gave me I think itll be a good while before I shop there again I didnt receive an apology but not from the people I should have received it from

I shop for instacart and one of my customers NEVER came outside to pick up their food order! The next day I went back to shoprite to return the items since it was snowing and late the night before...I never had to make a return, so this was a little frustrating! Mind you, I was very tired and already a little aggravated...Well...Greeted with a smile, the girl at the front desk was so polite and helpful with my return, even explaining why certain items could not be returned due to them being perishable...the return went so quick and smooth😍I left the store with a smile😁Thanks again to that young lady who made my job just a little easier😇 Ooooh and By the way... Instacart even ended up donating the perishable items, which filled my heart with joy!!!😁Lastly I must also add...this store is always very clean, nicely stocked and the staff is extremely helpful in locating hard to find items!! I would definitely rate them 5 stars and recommend them for all of your shopping needs...way to go Instacart and thank you ShopRite!!

Very good prices. Very friendly associate at the sea food counter. Love her. Some of the check out associates are very nice too.I had an issue with product availability a couple of weeks ago. Complained and it was resolved super fast by the store management.All in all it’s a great grocery store.

Another customer took off with my cart, and while accidents happen, my daughters diaper was in it. There were 3 associates in the area, while they obviously heard my concern and my partners request for help, could not be bothered to stop and help me find it.

I am familiar with this store and, better yet, they are with me. I am somewhat disabled and they know it and I cant remember the last time I asked for help and somebody didnt help me find what I need and even when I havent asked and they noticed I did. Joe in the Deli is wonderful (and I always get a slice of whatever Ive ordered because Im always going shopping when I havent eaten. ) The store is clean and well organized, and with the exception of Aldi, has great prices and sales. But as I have no transportation and take the ADA vans, I like to only spend money for major shopping once a month.

I shop at Shop Rite because I get a lot of birdseed and they have cheaper prices. The only thing I DONT like is that they dont keep their supplies up. The goods get depleted and there is nothing left. Thats the managers fault. Their bakery is much better than other stores.

There are dozens of birds flying around everywhere. An animal control who will catch and release needs to come. Otherwise, the store is fantastic.

Shoprite is still my preferred store to shop for groceries in. I did a lot of on line shopping and picking up but had to drive to Cromwell. I would order $100 to avoid the fees but with all the stock outs I would have to order $125 but still netted out below $100 so I got charged processing fees. I have ventured back in the store in person in East Hartford. I go on Tuesday for the 5% senior discount. The shelves are still pretty empty. Its hard to compete a grocery list and I prefer not to have to go to a 2nd store.The store also removed all their one way aisles and social distancing lines on the floor. Disappointed in that. I dislike the digital coupons that have to be downloaded. I always forget or maybe thats what the store hopes for. Checking out is painfully slow and congested. I will watch for improvement.

Had a good variety of items and prices. Easy to maneuver aisles but slow checkout lines. Self checkout was fast and easier and help was readily available. Better prices that stop and shop and big y and I would recommend and return here. Only major complaint is the lack of direction in the parking lot.

Grocery store. So yeah. But it was fine had all the stuff and lots of open registers so no wait. Did have a bum cart though; but who hasnt at one point or another.

Amazing store and staff. Had a wonderful cashier who was extremely helpful. While using self checkout he entertained my 2 year old son and helped me get out of there super quick. Never had that amazing type of service from a cashier anywhere else. Made my entire day. Going to be making the trip back there every grocery trip from now on.

Easy in and out for shopping. Meat Dept has a good selection plus natural grass feed beef which is always a hit. Prices for groceries are average. Sale items are great buyers so we stock up when we see items we can use.Negative is parking - Icy. Plus NO shopping carts when you walk in entrance. Had to go back out in parking lot to get one.

The store is always clean and well organized. The employees are friendly and helpful. Great prices and variety of brands to choose from. My only complaint is that the produce isnt always fresh; I frequently spot mold on berries, rotting vegetables, wilting herbs. I often dont purchase the items I intended to due to the poor quality. This is frustrating because I then need to go to another store to get the needed items. Overall, a great place to shop.

Its like any other grocery store. It has brands other chains dont carry and is missing some stuff that other chains carry. I keep it simple and I get what I need here at a reasonable price.

On my two visits, the people I approached (when I could get someone to notice me) misdirected me all over the store for items. The cashier couldnt correct a wrong price, held up the line for close to 5 minutes. The courtesy desk showed no courtesy when I brought items back that were not usable, and prices were not properly placed, so you think you are paying one price, and you pay something else. Otherwise, no problem😨

The sales are definitely worth coming here for. Seeing as I live in an area that only has a Stop & Pay, their prices were just way out of sight. Figured Id give ShopRite a try. Its a bit out of the way, but the savings have been good. The aisles are a bit difficult to navigate. But, the store is mostly clean and well lit.

Staff is generally friendly and helpful. I am always offered a bit of cheese or meat to taste when ordering from the deli, the employees in produce always check the back for more stock for me without hesitation and the staff in the seafood department are very friendly and attentive as well. Even the employees who bring in the shopping carts are nice and always greet me when Im entering or leaving the store and offer to take my cart for me.

Usually a good place to go. A lot of people visit this location so if you are trying to get something that is on sale, make sure you go early. Mostly positive interactions. Staff at the deli are always nice and friendly.

I went to ShopRite because I was supporting Stop & Shop employees during their strike by not shopping at any Stop & Shop stores. Stop & Shop has lost me.. I was impressed with ShopRite! Prices were good, produce look great! They even had my tazo tea I have such trouble finding. They had 10 registers open to help with the overflow of customers and the cashiers were hustling but still friendly.

Deli is great as is the meat department. But produce department not responsive or well managed. The store manager never acknowledges the customer. I shop very often he walks by me like I dont exist. As for produce department I now go to Whole foods for my produce. The whole store is attentive and friendly
