Service experience was excellent! Zack goes above & beyond to explain things, and his customer service is 5 star. Having been to other dealerships & left disappointed, Zack truly embodies what SERVICE is all about!! Coming from a family with knowledge about mechanics (and needing a new engine for my truck), he never disregarded questions or concerns as to what is absolutely necessary. In this ‘day & age’, it’s refreshing to be able to have an actual conversation with someone and feel valued as a customer! If Gengras loses him as an employee, they will regret it and probably lose customers as well.

Terrible service, terrible communication. Sales men called me all week asking when i can come down to look at a car. 1:45 minute drive by the way. I get there and they had sold the car and did not tell me at all. They also had booked me for a test drive for a different car which i had never asked about or knew that they even had. Do not recommend. Horrible.

Weve had nothing but incredible experiences with sales and service here. Huge shout out to Sage and Tyler in sales and Vincent in Service. We were taken care of so well during the purchase of our vehicle, no BS, just in and out with a great deal. Today we brought it in for its first service and got a really nice video from our Service Advisor, Aundrea, of our Technician, Vincent, walking through every inch of the inspection he performed, showing each part as he described what his assessment was. Jimmy Truong provided a great pressure-free situation during my car buying experience. He listened to my concerns and communicated with me throughout the entire experience. This was very important as I live more than an hour away with a crazy work schedule and did not have to come to the dealership other than to test drive the vehicle and sign papers/get the vehicle. I purchased a used vehicle and have to commend the exterior body work (dent, paint scratches) done to make the vehicle look like new as that was a concern during the purchase process. The result was absolutely fantastic.

My service advisor, Jessica is very professional and great to work with. She kept me informed and followed up with me every step of the way. Gengras is lucky to have her. Besides the oil change, the vehicle was in for an ongoing issue with the drivers seat. It shifts at times when driving. I have brought it in more than once, without resolution. This time, I was sent a video of a service technician speaking about the issue. He said that he didnt feel the shifting, but did feel it swaying side to side. He suggested lowering the seat as a fix, as he is over 6 feet tall, which he believes contributed. To me, this sounds absurd. The seat shouldnt move, regardless of the height of the driver. Lowering the seat is not a solution. Despite this continued disappointment, none of that blame may be placed at the feet of Jessica. Again, I had a great experience with her, despite my concerns not being resolved yet. The score for her, specifically, would be 10 for questions #1 and #2. I will continue to bring the vehicle back, until the issue is fully resolved.

The service desk person Jessica was excellent getting my wife checked in and getting a shuttle ride home as she is 3rd shift worker. She kept me informed to the progress on the car and arranged a shuttle ride back to the dealer late in the afternoon so my wife could sleep. The shuttle driver was excellent and right on time. It took two weeks to get a diagnosis. No return phone calls from service department when they said they would. I had to go in personally to find out what was going on with my truck. Zach was my original contact then he went on vacation and my order got lost in the mix. No one knew about it couldnt find my keys or work order. Then there was the fiasco with Synchrony Car Care Credit Card. I received a call last Friday demanding the loaner back out of the blue when I was supposed to get a call back a week prior from the service department. I talked to David Englishman the Service Manager on Friday 10/1/21 and he said that he wad going to get to the bottom of the billing situation and that you would call me back. I never got a call back from him. So I came in again and paid for the services. I received a generic email yesterday from the Service Manager asking how I felt about my experience I responded in detail and didnt get a response back. Totally dissatisfied with the customer service which in return makes me feel weary about the work done on my truck. If the repairs are like the customer service I received it makes me fearful to drive it.

If you are EVER in the market for a new Chevy... don’t bother going anywhere else!! I went to 3 other dealerships before I went to Gengras. I was in and out within an hour with the BEST POSSIBLE deal I could imagine. Tyler and Jimmy (and the entire staff) are so happy, polite, pleasant, and love their jobs!! The service was great. I came in for unscheduled emergency work when my engine overheated. Jessica M. felt like my advocate during the entire process. She constantly kept in touch and was super friendly. And despite the unscheduled dropoff, the team was able to get my car in and fixed superfast. Zach V. was a huge help at the end showing me the automatic starter feature of my car, something I hadnt realized was functioning- which was hilarious and VERY appreciated. I highly recommend this service team. They made a stressful situation so much better!

Service department fail for the second time.I would like to start this with the sales people are amazing at this dealership and buying a car here was a breeze, Alvin is highly recommended!Unfortunately I purchased a used car though, less than 3 months later I had a $3,500 motor problem that had to be repaired that they claimed they had not noticed and none of it would be covered. Shame on me for buying a used car and expecting it to be ran through and serviced before leaving the lot and not purchasing an extended warranty. My fault 100% but it left me stranded on the side of the road and wasnt a minor motor issue so that caused negative feelings toward the dealership about honesty and service etc.Secondly I had made a service appointment through an email they had sent for an oil change. You pick a day and time enter your car details and you are good to go. I did that over a week ago and my appointment was today, I do not live close so I get there to be told we do not have this oil or filter for your car which you purchased here. When I made the appointment they knew the type of car coming in over a week later so it should and could have been ordered and prepared.As a huge dealership it makes no sense to be that you wouldn’t have simple things like filters and oil for cars you sell, and you wouldn’t order what’s needed for an appointment over a week away.I’ve always purchased my cars at a dealership across the street and I will be continuing to do so from here on out because the service department is not helpful or compassionate when they cause hiccups.I suggest Alvin if you need a brand new Chevy but I do not suggest them for used cars and absolutely do not use the service department if you have other options.

I was home in CT from out of town last weekend when my car started having issues with its ignition coil. I was a little worried about driving home so decided to stop into Gengras just to see if they could squeeze me in while I was still in town for the rest of the afternoon. They were incredibly accommodating and while they couldnt guarantee the work would be done in time (so I had to take it back to my dealer at home), Jessica and the entire service staff were so lovely, kind, and knowledgable in trying to make it work. Jessica gave me her card so I could call and ask questions should I be unsure about the repair with my dealer, and offered me a free carwash, too. Truly -- I wish I still lived here so I could use them for my service. Could not recommend more!

I had a 730am appointment to replace my brake light which was cracked. It was ordered 3 weeks prior to my appointment. I was told it should take an hour. When they finally looked at my car at approximately 2p they had no idea what my car was there for. They told me all your brake lights work. Thats not what my appointment was for. After I told them what it was there for the job was completed within 15 minutes. I waited all day for something that took 15 minutes. Then they tried to charge me for an item I already paid for and its ridiculous that I had to wait all day and pay 166 dollars for 15 minutes worth of work.

I came in to get my Truck Serviced based on a quote for service that was detailed on the Gengras Chevrolet Website. I was told that particular service request did not exist. I recently looked online and that same quote is still posted on the Website. The Service Manager said he was trying to get it removed or corrected. Incidentally, I got service done but at a much higher price. I also received a 4 wheel alignment and requested a print out of those results. I was told the print out would be provided to me but it was not. The Printer allegedly broke. Anyway the Service Manager gave me a discount but it did not compare to the Website posted amount.

Zack didnt update info on my vehicle.They proceeded to call previous owners wth updates.When I got information, they promised to fix.I finally got the call to return because my part was in.I dropped car off.I was called later and told to pick up car, because they did not have part!!!After I told them 3 times they told me to bring it because they had it, I finally told them to look up previous owner. They found it. They never fixed it from first time. Theyre a mess! Ill never go back! I purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee in 05 and also was the WORST experience ever! Leaked water and was repaired at least 6 times!

Terrible customer service and lying management. My car was broken into there and they said theyre replace the belongings stolen on their lot while I was purchasing a Volvo across the street as well. They never did and Im still upset that I gave this management any of my business. Beware of the dishonest owners here - Gengras will never get any of my familys service or sales business (which is too bad as there are a couple new Volvos Im now in the market for again and have pulled 4 cars from service there).

Great car buying experience!! Went straight to the point from out the gate. I inquired about the vehicle and they reached out the next day that the car was still available. Jimmy was awesome!! Friendly service. Disappointed they you discontinued the shuttle service for oil change appts. I recommend you do not allow customers to select the use of shuttle service when they are booking appts online. In my case, I selected the option for a ride/shuttle and when I arrived for the service the staff person said that was not an option for oil changes. Obviously very frustrating and caused me problems with employer/work schedule.

Service Dept failure.I called to make an appointment and was surprised how fast they were able to get me in. I decided to drop my car off over night. The next day, I called several times throughout the day and couldnt get anyone over the phone to check the status of my car. At 3pm, I finally decided to call the sales side, they also couldnt find anyone on the service side but said they would leave a message to call me back.At 4:50, I decided to just show up in person. To my surprise, my car was in the same spot where I left it. I asked the service employee what is the point of appointments if your not going to work on my car? I then asked to get my keys... I am taking my car elsewhere. What made it even better, was my keys were still in the drop off envelope.I expect this kind of bull at a small repair shop, NOT A DEALERSHIP.

After spending 20 minutes on the phone with the service department to make an appointment for an oil change, I was told the wrong date. Once I arrived at the dealer I was told I wasn’t on the schedule until tomorrow, and the next available appointment would be two hours later. I won’t be coming back here, and the service team should be held accountable for their scheduling errors. We all live busy lives, and have things to get done. I don’t appreciate showing up for an appointment that wasn’t actually made.

I would absolutely not purchase a vehicle from them they are the worst. Sold me a 2011 Chevy Cruz which had alot of recalls and they had repaired the transmission 3 times and would not honor the recall. Then they wanted to charge for the repairs after the warranty was up. I can not stress enough about buy a vehicle from them. Dont do it doesnt matter if your credit is good go somewheres else. Ive been coming to this dealership for the past 2 years since I brought this car and it was great until today. I came originally on Wednesday to have my oil changed and ended up getting a 4 wheel alignment added and I never complained about the price of $211. I was told I needed brakes done we all know that brakes are very easy to get done but I opted to have the dealership do it. I was told by Aundrea that it was going to be $330 max..I made the appointment. I brought my car in today and was texted after completing that its now $453 I asked how and why the increase and no response. When I picked up my car she was really flat dry no apologies no sorry I misquoted a price over $100 nothing..I will never come back here for anything more than an oil change. I dont care what the issue is or what needs to be completed if its not an oil change Im good. And if I find another Chevey dealer then I wont come here for that either. Ron the driver was the best part of both my experiences here..I will tell everyone that walks into my branch about this experience..very poor and not good at all..Customer service is not a priority but getting my $$ is.

The tech was engaging and interested in what I had to say, what I thought was going to be an expensive repair turned out to be a 15 minute job. Would have been nice to have him last time this happened (bulb replacement for Day time running light).

We just bought a 2015 Suburban from this dealership in Dec ( 5 months ago) We brought it in to see what was going on with it and it needs a new transmission, front and rear shocks/struts. $10,000 worth of work on a car we just bought for over $30k. It is obvious they did not check it carefully before they sold it. Their slogan is where people come first, but they dont care about customers, they just care about making sales. Whatever happens after that is not their problem.
