DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. The person who sale the washer and dryer is so unprofessional. The washer didn’t work, he try to repair but he couldn’t do it. He said he would come back to pick up never did. I text him and call him a hundred times and didn’t pick up my phone call or text me back. I haven’t hear anything from him. I went personally to the place and it is close. Do not go here he will try to show one of his best stuff to be sale to you but if something goes wrong it is your loss. Loss of time and loss of money. PLEASE DO YOURSELF AND FAVOR AND DONT GO HERE.

J is a friendly guy, I bought a fridge and it worked fine, terrible delivery team. My mother bought a fridge from them and had nothing but problems and when J explicitly said to contact him if any problems no one ever made right on it..extending the date and next thing you know it’s out of warranty. How convenient. If you’re feeling lucky go here or in a serious pinch, you’ll get a good deal. 1/10 Chance something doesn’t go wrong. Just read all the reviews and the owners responses, somehow it’s ALWAYS the customers fault and the warranties never get followed through. Doesn’t add up. Or maybe..just Maybe they are just selling junk and offering a terrible service once you pay. No clue how they are still in business

I couldnt get anyone on the phone because the mailboxes are full. I sent email or text, just got a text that said Hi. I asked some questions, they didnt respond. I wont do business. Seems shady, regardless of the positive comments made by of some customers here.*UPDATE 9/14/2021*I finally received a text message from the business a few days later. It was explained that they were busy. Ive already purchased a new washer from a reputable appliance store. I no longer require their services.

I purchased a used refrigerator from the owner. This refrigerator never worked correctly since the date of purchase. It has been 3 months since date of purchase and he keeps setting dates and different time to repair without appearances. I waited this three month period, allowing him ample time to make a bad deal better. I would not want another human to go through is mayhem in the summer time. Currently I am at loss of $2,000. The place down the road has a better follow through.

Had some initial good experiences, but in the end criminals. While delivering an appliance, they STOLE my tenants snow-blower from the yard. Owner tried to blame the helper, but the fact is it had been more than 7 days and it has not been returned. Today we get the police involved. Is this really the kind of stuff you want to deal with when buying an appliance!?! Or, the kind of people you want at your property!?! Me neither. Total hassle.

My honest review!!! Customer service was impeccable. Although my delivery was a little late, the lady at the desk, i for got her name was pleasant, caring . Jay the owner was also responsive to my messages as the delivery was late!!! However people this is life, things do happen, people are not robots. Most of all, i receive followup calls back from them and when my oven Came, it was as BRAND NEW PACKAGED. I hope and pray it last for a long time.. Thank you J appliances! I will surely repurchase again from you.

Like others i see here...had delivery scheduled for 3-5. Didnt show til 9:30 pm. I have 2 kids and they both got woken up. But whatever at least its here right? He then said dont plug it in for a few hours....I think this was to make his getaway. When we did plug it in IT DIDNT WORK.Now been trying for days to get a hold of them. No response or ill call you back later is all we get. No responses to further messages or calls.Please dont use these guys. Unreal they are still in business....seems like every review says these same problems!

We purchased w/d appliances from Js back in Feb. Due to a part issue we had to do a couple swaps of the washer, but J was accommodating and made sure we had a functioning washer during the swap. We finally got the washer we were waiting for and it is lovely. Thank you for taking care of us. I would purchased another appliance from them again.

Worst experience ever with a small businessman. He lied to me, broke every promise and his favorite answer is 10 minutes whish means anywhere from 1 hour to a day. Never have I been so shabilly treated and had my time wasted.

I was told that they can get a new one when they delivered it they told me the fridge is sold as is so I said ok. In October the refrigerator stop getting cold but the freezer was working. I called J appliances on a Saturday they told me someone will come out on Thursday from 1pm-4pm. It’s 430pm no one shows up. I call J he says from 4pm-7pm he gets to my house at 8pm tells me most likely the ice is backed up because the refrigerator stays open, to leave it plugged out and all the ice will defrost and flush out. Did that and no water flushed out so I said you know what let me call Sears. Sears came out the next day promptly and told me I needed a new control board. I paid $700 for my refrigerator with J and had to pay $550 to get my fridge repaired with sears. I should have bought a brand new fridge. But it’s my fault for being cheap. I will never buy another used appliance again especially from this location. Be very careful when purchasing anything from this place if you do make sure you have rental insurance. I have used this service for repair of washer and was put off for on month before Jay, the owner, removed my washer to fix my washer. He brought it to his store and called me to say it didnt need the parts another company had said it needed it just needed to be cleaned out. He cleaned out the washer and returned it. The washer worked for 1 week and and stopped working. I could not reach him.I then had to call him for a refridge I had bought from him not even 1 year ago. It has stopped working. He was supposed to come Saturday between 4 and 6. I received a call that he was running late and was asked to reschedule for Tuesday. I said that my tenant had food that was spoiling and it could not wait until Tuesday. I was told he may have to come late in the evening. My tenant was fine with that. Jay, the owner and only one who is completing service calls DID NOT show up and DID NOT call. When I called to reschedule on Monday I spoke to Jay. He told me call Tuesday, we are closed on Monday. I called Tuesday and they are not able to come until one week from tomorrow!!!! This is the most unprofessional and unresponsive appliance repair place I have EVER encounter. BEWARE!!!!!!

We purchased a fridge on the 13th of February. They replaced it a week later, the replacement worked for an hour.Tons of our food and my Dads medication was all spoiled we continued calling no answer, numerous text was also sent and no response today March 9@ 8:30pm two delivery men showed up wanting to exchange the fridge. Do not bring your business to these clowns, so disappointed. Unfortunately zero star is not an option!

I needed a washer/dryer set delivered. The owner got me exactly what I needed for a great price with a warranty, delivered and installed them. I’ll definitely use them again in the future!

Jay came and fixed my dryer at a good price and was instantly very professional and dedicated to what he was doing so I could get my dryer working. For my part I recommend Jay and his company to fix their Appliances with a super economical price lower than other companies.

I purchased my kitchen appliances on Jay and they was very friendly and very helpful people, they are family business and they take the time to explain me what kind of appliances they better then other and what is last more. I very recommended them.

Very bad service not responding to phone call

Serviced my stove today it was set on the wrong type of gas. They were very nice, did the job quickly and right. Was quoted nearly $300 at another appliance repair place they did it for less than half the price. Would definitely use again if I need service.

I purchased a Samsung washer machine good quality on a good price on Jay appliances they take the time to explain me all the details and what it was good for me and my family.

Buying appliances from Jay is betting that they wont break.If your appliance break, dont expect Jay to service you in a timely manner. He will not come.You would have to buy another one from someone else. Excuses from here to the moon. Not answering calls... you name it. Great prices though!

I bought a washing machine with J and it came out excellent, it works perfectly and I havent had any problems, J was kind enough to explain to me the work that is done to rebuild each washing machine with its guarantee.

Called this place two times looking for a specific piece of equipment. Both times they told me they’d have pulled and ready to go Saturday morning. Showed up with a truck and crew and they left me hanging. Told me to come back later in the day. Waste of time and money. Wound up driving to a place down the street- was in and out of there in less than 10 min.

My dryer stopped heating and so I found these guys on Google and I took my old one over to trade for another used one as they deal used and blemish machines . When J saw my dryer on the back of the pickup he said that is a good heavy duty one you want to keep that one bring it in and I will fix it . I said how long will it take, he said 45 min . (Never met him before) We unloaded it and he tore it all to pieces and replaced several parts even degreased and cleaned the entire machine . . He charged $150.00 and it is working extremely well . Thanks J !

They sale appliances bad and not good

I bought a dryer and washer from them a week back. They delivered both of them. The washer seemed to not work and they said they drop a new one on Monday. They dropped one off on Thursday. The dryer needed to have a stove range cable. I installed it and come to find out the dryer doesnt spin. Ive been trying to contact them sense Thursday and they have no responded to me.

I bought a fridge and a stove here and theOwners were fabulous! Very helpful and very nice! They took their time to answer all of my questions! I got a great deal on my appliances and i love them! They are working great and very clean almost like new! I would recommend Js appliances to anyone even family!!

My old KitchenAid gas range died. $700 to fix it, rebuild a ignition relay. No thanks. Stopped at J Used Appliances, very nice lady helped me select a nice 30” gas range. $400 with cash discount. I picked it up the following Saturday and installed it. Works fine but one burner would not light. Went back and they were willing to send out a guy same day. I couldn’t swing that so made an appointment for Wednesday after Christmas. J the owner of the company came out personally. Although he was running hours late he called to say he had a bunch of employees call out after the holiday too much partying.He fixed the burner in 30 minutes, no charge.And he told me the old oven I dumped probably had a dirty sensor and was probably fine. He’s seen it hundreds of times.If you need a decent appliance go to J’s. They’re a family run small business and they have my trust. In fact I’ll be calling them for my next appliance repair.

I make an appointment on Js appliances the technician came out and found the problem on my fridge they was so professional they explain what cause the problem and how much was to repair it that I was totally agree with cause they very helpful with the price too and the best fixed it the same day.

I bought a fridge and an electric stove over a month ago, the fridge went bad the first day, everything went bad. The second one is making a loud noise every time it shuts down like banging a pipe, very annoying. I’m afraid it will go bad anytime soon. The stove only works on high and low temperature. I called and text a few times with no response. He did gave some money back to pay for the stuff that went bad. Bad service, Be careful if you go there.

Honestly Im sure you can get some good deals there its probably hit or miss I bought a washing machine there apparently they had a big fire that happened a month before... fire department came in sprayed water down on all those appliances they apparently kept them cuz I had massive water damage in my washer it got fixed three.. four times before I just got rid of it. Its nice they do a 100 day warranty. But the warranty is up before you know it.

Wonderful small business. The owner (J?) was super friendly and informative during my visit. He even took me in the back and demonstrated and explained the process that they go through cleaning and repairing each machine. They were unable to deliver the washer and dryer that I purchased during a time that worked for my busy schedule but they were super helpful and loaded the machines into my vehicle. They showed great concern and care for both my vehicle and the machines during the loading process. One star taken away because once I got the machines home the washer would not drain. I called and J was able to walk us through removing the top panel and connecting a cord that they had forgotten to reconnect. It was simple to do; however, I do feel that they should have checked to make sure the washer made it through a full cycle before selling it.

Worst experience in my life with a business please do not waste your time money or your peace with this place!The fridge raider put into my home was inspected by another professional and I was told it was a fire hazard and unsafe to be in my home.

Poor customer service. I would not recommend this place for appliance repair. They came out to my house one month ago and took my dryer apart only and told me they couldnt find anything wrong except it dirty and needed to be vacuumed inside. The dryer worked fine for about one month and now its dead. I called them to come out and look at it again, but they never showed up twice. They were a no call no show twice in a row. Very poor customer service.

Bought a washer and the hoses were awful and leaked right away. I tighten the cords and they still leaked. I tried tighten once more because it was leaking and a part on back broke off. I asked the guy if they would hook it up and was told yeah. They dropped off washer and didnt even hook it up wasted 270. I had to go buy a disposal hose and that area leaked when I put it on after tightening it. Never would go there again.

I bought a washer and dryer...it leaked like crazy. It wasnt the hoses. They came and replaced the pump and rubber gasket. It worked for 3 loads the would not stop adding water. They sent a guy out that fixed it but said it needed the part replaced. It worked for a few weeks before the basement floor was covered with water AGAIN and they never called or came by with the new part. The amount of damage to the pool table legs, carpet, Christmas decorations, photo albums, and books that have been damaged would have covered a new washer. They dont care. They will deal with it until the warranty is over then go silent. They prey on those who live check to check. Im creating a facebook page to put photos of the damage and calling this company out for exploiting those who live check to check and need the bargains that were promised from the scammers and predators they are.

They gave me an appointment for 4:00 PM, at 4:45 PM I called and they said he should be there in an hour. No one called me to tell me they would be late, I had to call them. When I called he said I have to pay cash otherwise I have to pay tax and they dont accept checks. When I made the appointment they never mentioned having to pay cash. I canceled the appointment after wasting so much of my time. I dont know how fair they would be if they ever came.

Bought a washing machine, I ran about 20 cycles of just water through and each time at the end of the cycle, there is residue and a bunch of pieces from leafs, black stuff and grainy stuff (sand / stone pieces?) that end up there... this washer was probably stored outside for a while and filled with a bunch of leafs, stone pieces and other stuff, before they bought it. This stuff is underneath the drum, without completely disassembling the washer, its impossible to get this out. Still washing clothes a month into when I bought it, its gotten less but there are still bits and pieces of leafs and other stuff left at the end of the cycle. And they dont take returns / refunds, BTW, so its a luck of the draw, of course you cant test run it at their place before buying. Everything is also quite overpriced. Rather, stick with craigslist, visit, demo and buy from a private seller. Btw, although they provide free shipping, they mess up delivery dates and times, only shipping once or twice a day.

I wish there was a zero star option. I am surprised this store been open for this long. The service is atrocious, customer service is the worst, the owner and his workers lied to me over and over about coming over to fix there slightly used dryer. the owner told me that the dryer was previously owned for about 3 months and its close to brand new. He reassured that the washer and dryer set works perfectly fine. The following day after delivery, the dryer stop working. I had to go to the laundry inorder for me to wash my work clothes. They continuosly gave me the run around about times they will pick up the dryer to fix it. The situation got bad that my fiance had to call him with profanity in order for him to take us sersiously. we waited weeks for them to fix the dryer, then they deliver the wrong dryer. As i write this review my dryer is still not working and I am currently saving to buy a BRAND NEW dryer cause we definitley wasted our money they Used dryer cost $500+, it saddens me every day that we wasted our money and got lied to our face. Do not go there. I cannot stress this enough Do not waste your money .

Oh if only I could give zero stars. Where do I begin? The brand new washer and dryer combo I bought, suddenly became a 2007 repainted model when dropped off at my home...🤷Then I went to use the dishwasher...only to find that the detergent compartment was missing a latch. I called J and finally reaching him he was quick to point out that it was probably because I was female and didnt know how to work it, essentially stating I had broken it. (not sure I need to say this but I didnt break it) I sucked up my pride and convinced him to come and fix it....this was not before he threw a full tantrum telling me he would just pull a old one from the trash to get my part. Time came for the appointment and he no call now showed (3 times) When I did finally get ahold of him (using another phone) he pretended he didnt know me and made fun of my name (only saying sorry, I am Spanish I dont know how to say your name after I called him out on it) come to find out his English is really great when yelling at people. Called back, no answer.....Left message wanting a refund. (100 day guarantee have receipt)Dishwasher still leaking....

A TOTAL SCAM- AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! Where to begin. We go to Js and he seemed nice and selection was good. I was looking for a fridge for my investment property and I found one I thought would be nice in my home. We decided to have him professionally clean and deliver the fridge at my house to the investment property- and then purchase a new one for my house.First of all- he delivered a completely different fridge to the investment property- which wasnt as nice as the one from my house we paid him to clean. He essentially stole it. Then the fridge we bought stopped working after 3 weeks- we call to tell him and he says its water from cleaning and to unplug for a bit. We tried it and didnt work. We called him consistently- and he wouldnt show up or call back. There was supposed to be a 100 day warranty! We said we would write poor review he even threatened us I know where you live. We had a guy come look to repair so we didnt have to talk to him anymore and its basically garbage. We are stuck with a fridge that costs more to repair than replace- BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Prices are too expensive for used appliances. Have had issues with two appliances approximately 2 weeks after we bought it. Have been in constant contact repair guys came out 3 times issue still not resolved and appliances not exchanged. When I get the time in gonna carry both back and if they arent fixed or replaced with appliances that work I will continue to write bad reviews to warn others.
