Never thought a car buying experience could be pleasant, but everyone at Open Road Mazda of East Brunswick made this such a pleasant experience, especially at 9 months pregnant. Mark was our salesperson and he was very patient, very honest, and worked with us to get exactly what we needed. He did not try to play games, even with the market right now. From Mark to the finance manager, everyone worked with us to have us leave very happy! We have been shopping for a little while and went to a different Mazda dealer as well as DCH Honda of Old Bridge and neither experience left us happy. I called Chase Bank - they said it was from the dealership. I called the dealership - they said it from Chase.They both refused to accommodate, Chase is a separate review, but Mazda was EXTREMELY difficult and rude to deal with in the situation.This was my 4 consecutive lease with this Mazda dealership, along with a total of 8 total within my extended family over the past 10 years. Tens of thousands of dollars spent and they couldnt muster up $300 to cover a loyal client who brought them additional business.Im not complaining about the money - its the lie to my face about this hidden and surprise fee; then playing the blame game with Chase.I thought this dealership was different, but theyre the same as every other.

I bought a Mazda CX-5 with Ade and it was the easiest and most enjoyable experience. Ade was attentive and super transparent. I can’t thank him enough. Word of advice for first time car buyers.. make sure you shop for insurance the prior to shopping to know what rates you’ll get. I had to purchase insurance the day of because you can’t drive the car off the lot without insurance. I waited a few days to pick up but it was totally worth it.

I had a problem with my car leaking oil. Called the day I noticed it, and was able to drop my car off the same day and was provided a loaner. Super quick and helpful service. They fixed my car, which was covered under warranty so I did not have to come out of pocket. Since they had my car, I also had them change out my tires for new ones (just under 3/32nd tread was left) which I think the price was fair on. Joe Forcella was the one helping me and provided 10/10 service. I will gladly go back if I need any work for my CX-5!

Full disclosure, I have a car crush on Paul Seetoo. He is one of the few people who I would EVER buy a car from. Totally honest and transparent. BAIT and SWITCH. Agreed to a price on email, traveled over an hour to dealership. When I arrived they wanted to add $3500 because they supposedly forgot taxes and fees even though I had clearly specified that our deal is including all taxes and fees. Please don’t waste your time here.

Had the WORST experience with my CPO purchase. No idea how this has over 4 stars. The finance department is made up of con-artists who try to convince you that a 4.5 interest rate for your auto loan is “good” meanwhile they are running a 2.9% deal. Got there at 2 pm didn’t leave till 10:30 pm - don’t waste your time here.

If your thinking about taking your car here for service....DONT! Its a shame because I love my Mazda and I love the Mazda brand but when the time comes for me to buy a new Mazda it wont be at this dealership. They were more expensive than the mechanics estimate of new brakes but I thought because its a dealer it would be quality parts amd a quality job. They had me believing that everything (pads and rotors, front and back) was new. Well they only resurfaced the front rotors so whenever I pressed the brakes, I heard a grinding noise. I took the car back in a 2nd time and they said they only resurfaced them so I had to pay another 200 for new ones bringing my total to almost 1300 for new pads amd rotors on a Mazda 3. Well a couple weeks go by and my brake pedal is hitting the floor amd my car isnt stopping. I go in amd they tell me I have to pay a $130 diagnostic fee just for them to take a look. I told them they did the work so they should make sure its correct so the guy says hell waive the fee if they dont find fault.....which they never do. Theyre very shady amd sketchy. I wouldnt take my car there again and I definitely wont buy one there.

Very poor customer experience with typical bait and switch tactics. Specific car I was interested in was magically just sold this morning when I scheduled a meeting with Raquel in the afternoon telling her I was interested in that specific car. When I confirmed the meeting everything was all fake patronizing cheerful on the phone with a “great ask for me when you arrive”. When I show up on time Raquel was mysteriously AWOL and 30 minutes of my time was wasted while they searched for non existent cars. More proof that there is no need for car sales at dealerships. They have the right to sell any car to anyone they choose, but have the common courtesy to notify me that what I want is no longer available if it ever really was. I will not be shopping here again.

I had the absolute BEST car leasing experience with Margaret Ferrara. I have never felt so comfortable at a car dealership. From the second I walked in to the second I left she provided me with the most honest and easy transaction. I had the most delightful experience purchasing this pre-owned Honda Fit yesterday! My sales consultant was Michael Rossman, and he couldnt have been nicer. He was SO helpful with every step of the process and is a great conversationalist to boot! Everyone at the dealership was so nice, even though I was probably purchasing the least expensive car on the lot. Theyre great people and do great work! I highly recommend you work with them!

Scheduled an appointment for a test drive. Upon visiting I told it was the end of the month and I wouldn’t be able to drive a car that day and that I had to come back next week. I was not even shown the vehicle I was interested in. Also the rep that greeted us was not even the one we made the appointment with and asked for. Me and my girlfriend were extremely disappointed with our experience here. Afterward I received an email saying I missed my appointment. Get your appointment process sorted Open Road, if you don’t plan to show me the car then don’t schedule me to come in and waste my time.

I was deciding between two and three stars. But two would mean that I was just angry and I didn’t like the rules. They will do their best when they are going to sell you a car. They are very professional about that; all the tasks are distributed between the trained (more or less) employees at dedicated roles there. You have to move between them to go through the entire process - sales, finance, supervisor, cash desk...I bought a used car and with these there’s always chance that something goes wrong. Water pump broke at mine after 28 days and less then 500 miles. There is a 30 day warranty but if you don’t read that you have to bring the car to their shop then it doesn’t apply. No one highlighted it to me but I didn’t read it either. In fact who would be thinking of bringing fully loaded car ready for a long weekend to a shop across a half of the state without knowing how long it would stay there. After that there is basically no discussion; no sign of any at least partial compensation. After you provide copies of all your purchase documents and wait until your sales representative returns from vacation you end up with just a cheap comment trough a text:“ i understand if it was up to me I would give you all the money back but it that warranty and how it works I wish I could help you “ (end of quote).I guess they only wish to help ... I don’t discourage you to go there just set your expectations right and read everything!

Customer service manager will give misinformation and they do not honor any type of promotional discount.

Buying a car for your daughter has got to be one of the most stressful things a father can do. It should be fun.... but its not. Luckily, we both agreed that the Mazda CX-30 was a perfect fit for her. Who knew?
