This company has been my go to for many years. On Tues I went to drop my car off and catch a ride to work, they didn’t have anyone avail to drop me off. So instead they did my oil change immediately and I waited for it. Always has a recommendation for further service but never forces me or is pushy at all about doing further service. I love that part about this company. Great front office guys too!

Fantastic. Professional, efficient and cost-effective. And adaptive - for that matter; almost had a scheduling conflict but theyve loaner vehicles. Incidentally they were so swift I didnt end up needing a loaner.

I went here on a recommendation for someone Local. The techs are good and knowledgeable and they were able to find an obscure problem with my air conditioning. It was a complicated job, however it uncovered a new issue. Unfortunately the way that I was treated was pretty terrible, one of the mangers seems to think that extracting value out of me was more important than developing long term customer relationships. I was trying to dispute what I felt was an overpriced fix and I kept get talked over and mansplained. I will not be returning here, and I do not recommend this place.

I brought my car into Goodyear due to not running well. They diagnosed a bad fuel injector and AC needed a new sensor and also let me now that suspension will be needing work. Tech diagnosed all needed work to be done. I would recommend this facility to anyone that wants service done correctly and price is fair. Thanks to all at Heartland Tire/ Goodyear

Good service, and courteous employees. My Mom goes there hence recommended it. The place is under new ownership was called Jim (?) Automotive service. I moved to Eagan MN in Sept 2019 and need a good and reliable shop. Used to go-to Brakes Plus in Denver CO for 17 years. Hoping this shop and me have an equally long relationship on my two cars.

If there were a possibility to give Heartland 6 stars, I would give it to them. I got a new set of tires for my truck. They only have certain tires in the store, but on their website, they have a bigger selection. Called the store, they got them ordered up and in their shop the day after I called. They gave me a quote, and was a good and fair price considering the tires I was buying. I needed to work that day (work in Eagan), and they gave me a Courtesy vehicle to go to work! No hassles getting rides to work while I wait for the Tires to be installed. Their work was fantastic! The customer service is awesome, you can tell these people are professionals whove been in the business awhile. As a customer, I cant think of one way this could have been a better experience. Two weeks ago I called them about a problem with my jeep. The manager told me I should take it to the dealer instead. He was right - I was impressed he turned away business and gave me sound advice. Today I brought my Accent in for an oil change. Great service - great value - quick turn around. I will be back!

Oil change in a timely manner

TLDR;-AM appointment, brought in by 9AM, not looked at till 1:30PM-Broke different part of car upon fixing another part-Blamed me for itMade an appointment on Friday for an AM appointment on Saturday. Brought my car in at 9AM, and was there for 6 hours. The car wasn’t even moved into the shop till about 1:30pm. The initial diagnosis was fine; I needed new tires (which they didn’t have in stock) and brakes. I had them fix my brakes, and was fine with shopping around, or coming back for new tires. Later on that day, I went to use my car horn to find my car in a parking lot. Long story short, my car horn was broken. I rarely use my car horn. How do you break a car horn when fixing brakes??? They blamed me of course, but I kinda expected that. No business would ever own up to a mistake that would cost them money.

I have had my oil change twice here now and I have left happy both times. Their waiting area is very clean and offers coffee and there are magazines placed on the side tables very neatly; there is also a television. The place is just so clean! I am amazed especially since it is a auto shop. The staff is always friendly and never pushy. I will continue taking my car to get oil changes here for sure!

We have found the people at this shop to be honest and fair.We utilized their shop when had an issue with my husbands truck. Instead of fixing it, they told us they had researched and found it was covered by the dealer. I appreciated their honesty instead of simply telling us what was wrong, and quoting the cost of the repair (which they could have done -how were we to know it would be covered). When we arrived to pick it up, they had information prepared for us to provide to the dealer ready.We have had them perform various maintenance work as well and always found the work was done well, and for a reasonable price.I would recommend this shop to others in the area.

I got 2 new tires on a Monday 7/8. While on my way to work on Sunday 7/14, I heard a weird noise coming from the back end. When I got to work I asked someone I work with to take a look quick to see if something was wrong. When he looked, he was able to tighten the lug nuts by hand - both tires on the drivers side!!! He used his tire iron to tighten them up. Totally unacceptable!!!! Thankfully I dont have to drive far for work. I cant imagine what would have happened if they would have came off while I was going full highway speed.... Never again Jim Cooper!!!!

I came here with a lot of questions and concerns around my older vehicle with a limited budget. The whole staff was friendly and accommodating from the front desk to the owner. They helped me understand exactly what needed to be done with my vehicle and why and it made me feel comfortable and confident in trusting this dealership with my vehicle needs. I had felt that Jim Coopers Tire and Auto Service over-charged my 19 year old daughter $1,230.00 for a fuel pump replacement and timing belt change for a 2003 Hyundai Sonata.The owner Jim addressed my concerns and did research into the situation as well as explaining that thee parts were from the original manufacturer and warrantied for 60k miles. The quality of the work and the understanding of the quality made far more sense. Jim also applied a discount that they were running to her situation and that resulted in a 100.00 check back to her which as a college student she can certainly use. I would suggest them to anyone who asked based on that level of follow up on a concern - follow up on concerns tell you a lot about the character of a company and Jim showed great character!

They have always been helpful and have great customer service but recently I switched to a different mechanic (family recommended) and as they changed my oil I was informed that the last people to do my oil (jimmy cooper) had put the wrong oil in! My car hasn’t been running very well which is why i chose to get an oil change and overall check. I was very disappointed to hear this and don’t plan on going back to Jimmy Cooper.

GREAT SERVICE!!! I had two tires put on my 2002 trailblazer and the price was the best when I checked around. I had a bulb sitting on my seat when I went in and I was going to replace it later. I found they had replaced it for me when it was inside. I have had my car towed there before and they have a great towing service that did not cost much but was fast to where I was broke down. Thanks Jim, Cory and Jason.

Started going here because it was close - until I received an estimate for $3000 worth of work that they pushed on me. My brother is a mechanic so I gave him a call. 90% of the work they stressed that was urgent, my brother said was only suggested work that MAY be needed in the future. So glad for him! He knows his stuff. Unfortunately for me, he lives out of state. Ive since found another mechanic, and have never been back to Jims. Stop trying to take advantage of females!!

Had a slow leaking tire and after being told by Discount Tire that it couldnt be fixed, Id need new tires, Jim Coopers team found a screw, fixed it and had me back on the road in less than 30 minutes. The other guys simply either didnt want to fix a tire, or they wanted to sell me new tires, not sure which. Bottom line, I didnt need new tires, I needed a used tire fixed and that is exactly what Jim Cooper Tire did for me. Many Thanks!

I have been coming to Jim Coopers in Eagan for 11 years with all of my cars and have always had above average service. They always tell you if they find anything else wrong and give you the option to have it fixed right then if you want. They warn me a few months in advance when Ill need new tires so I dont have a large surprise bill later. Im very surprised at the negative reviews on them so let me tell you several times they went above and beyond for me!Once I decided it would be fun to change my own oil, but minutes after starting to drive I smelled burning oil. I drove right over to Jims and after opening the hood Jeremy nicely (without making me feel like the idiot I was) asked me where my oil cap was. Oops! He found a shop near by that had the oil cap for me, while I went to get it he cleaned up my engine and ran it with a dye. He raised the car up and let me look at it from under to show me there were no other leaks. He said if I promise not to try that again, no charges for today.Another time I got off work late but didnt want to miss my oil change so I didnt have time to let my dogs out (they had been in their kennel for 10 hours at this point) the guy at the front desk (sorry I forgot who it was) saw I was frazzled and asked why. After I told him, he drove me home to let them out, then back and my car was done when we got back. He certainly didnt have to care about me but he did, and he helped. ABOVE AND BEYOND!Today my car had four lights come on so I called them, Jeremy answered and told me to come on in! While sitting here I thought Id read the reviews. I honestly belive these few negative reviews were misunderstanding or miscommunication because this is a wonderful establishment. From Jim and the other Jim answering the phones and greeting me with a smile to Jeremy and all the other people who have ever worked on my car, Ive been nothing but impressed!

Friendly staff, honest about maintenance and not pushy about issues you didnt come in to have fixed. I will definitely go here again.

If you want the classic runaround from a mechanic that results in an overpriced repair and mediocre service, then Jim Coopers in Eagan is the place for you. They have at LEAST a 100% markup on parts, meaning youll pay at least double the actual price of what Napa or OReilly sells the part for. Unfortunately, nearly all repair shops will have a markup on parts, but Jim Coopers markup seems unreasonably high. On the other hand, I looked through the list of recommended repairs they suggested and they all seemed reasonable, so it doesnt seem like theyll add on a bunch of excess repairs to jack up the price.As always, its a good idea to call other shops for an estimate and make sure youre not getting ripped off. In my experience at Jim Coopers, the quality of the work has been fine, but the prices are high and the customer service is mediocre.

Very disappointed managers failure to accept responsibility of damage done to car during simple oil change. They would not compensate for said damage, I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION!!

Quick and easy!

Terrible, Went to GOODYEAR to get my brakes looked, they told me I needed back breaks front brakes and drums. Took it two blocks to Tires Plus and I only needed front brakes. Saved 2500 taking it two blocks. These guys are a bunch of crooks.
