The best dollar general in town.. I got a question dollar general In dyer got fall decor or not yet??

Great staff and friendly. Always greeting when I walk in the store. Matt and Elijah always stop what they are doing to help me whether I cant reach the very top shelves for an item. Keep up the good work. Team work makes the dream work.

I visit here a lot since its close to where I work. Its just your every day, run of the mill dollar store. Youve got everything from food to cosmetics and facial cleansers, pet stuff to household cleaners. They even sell clothes. For a dollar store their variety is quite expansive. They also put a new self checkout terminal a few months ago as well, but unfortunately the machine only takes card so youll have to wait in the cashier line if youd rather pay with cash. The staff are friendly as well.

They had almost everything I needed, which was great. But the service was just terrible. No greeting or farewell. No acknowledgement at all by any of the employees. Luckily, they had a self checkout so I could serve myself.

I come out of my way to this location. Staff and cleanliness of the store is nice. Its hard to keep essential things in stock but they do their best.

The store was clean and fully stocked. The employees were wearing masks. The store was not busy, but all of the customers I encountered were wearing masks. When we met in an aisle, 1 of us chose to go to a different aisle. There were 6ft social distancing stickers on the floor and customers were abiding by them at checkout.

Slipped on the snow on the front door of the store have had 3 backsurgies and the manager didnt even ask if I was ok. Upset that she had to fill out accident report! Clean up that store!

This is THE ABSOLUTE BEST, CLEANEST, MOST ORGANIZED DOLLAR GENERAL Ive EVER been in! The employees are kind, helpful and knowledgeable and the store is always clean, well stocked & ORGANIZED! Ive walked out of a few dollar general stores because of the filthy, disorganized, messy state they were in!I will continue to drive 35 minutes each way to visit ONLY the store in Dyer, IN! ****Please keep up the great work!****

This is really a great Dollar General for finding what I need. Other stores do not have things as organized or even the stock available! I never leave without I needed and LOVE the unexpected deals I find. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that accessing my app in the store is really a pain. I have to remember to open it when I am still in the parking lot so I can get my deals!

Easy to manage isles and finding products. Employees are are very friendly. Just ask where a certain item is located and they will get you to that location. I had purchased a small personal blender made by toastmaster. I love it. It is just the right size to mix certain ingredients for some of my cooking dishes. One clerk had asked me if this purchase is worth buying. I told him that I would try it out and let him know....It is worth buying. I even use it too make fresh fruit and or fresh vegetable drinks.

The Dyer store is always clean and the associates are friendly and helpful. They work diligently to stock the shelves and keep the isles clear. Need to fix the parking lot. Please!

Nice clean store

I love going to the Dollar General Cos it’s close to my work. But I was there last night & I bought some items. And I need help with the price of some items that I wanna buy & I’ve asked the Lady who works there & it seems I’m a bother to her. At first when I ask her she did a depth breath. Then her machine machine was so slow so I told her that I can bring it in front if she wants. She replied me that No Cos if you don’t want it I have to Cancel it & I still have lot of things to do here. I just didn’t say anything about what she said. But I think that was a very Rude comment infront of the costumer. She should know better than that Cos she is old enough to know what you should say to the costumers who come & go to your work place & Patronize your Business. Just thought to share it & hope she won’t do it to the other costumers too.

I sometimes forget about this Dollar General but each time Ill had to call them (to inquire about their inventory) they were always professional and patient. I was never on hold forever and they were always accurate with their respond. (Some places would tell me their out (Im guessing so that wont have to go and actually check) but Ill get there and it wouldnt be true. More so they greet you and are polite.

Its nothing fancy. You can get bulk items cheaper than other stores. They dont have the best brands. Good value.

I was disappointed--didnt buy the most expensive meal but the chicken sandwich wasnt the best I ever had, the table next to us were really enjoying their salads-fish and chicken all-you-can eat meal, expected the menu to have more items, the service was very good, the coffee was fresh, there wss an isdue with a newer wait staff & an order that got mixed up-was surprised by 1 staff-pregnant, that heard the customer but did nothing and when the customer talked to another young woman with long dark hair she talked to the wait staff-apologized to the customer and his wife-sent in another wait staff-checked with them after they got their meal--she really reflected what is supposed to happen--I feel done with that experience.

They were extremely friendly and very accommodating!

Better check out, since remodeling the store. Check out what you are buying, sometimes when they open a box up to stock the shelves, they have their razor knife to far out & they cut into the product(s), seen it in another store like the store in Schererville for example, especially on discounted items. Good overall, worth the trip, had most items @ a ok price. Dollar General brand items are not that great, you get what you pay for. Better than going to the gas station for milk, etc, etc. Enough said.

So I asked if you have any carts and a man behind the desk said no theyre probably in the parking lot sorry but I dont get paid to get my cards when I walked out there were no cars in the parking lot and not in the store they were all filled with Overstock because nothing was put away so he would say I did not get all of my stuff. Very disappointed.

All stores I supposed to have the same price but not true I was in Indiana at the store and an item cost $1. Was over in Illinois I went to buy the same item and they wanted to charge $3 for it! Glad I had my receipt in my pocket showing the item cost a dollar in Indiana the price ended up being matched.

Good prices, the employees are nice and helpful, clearance after holidays is the best time to go. You can pay with credit/debit/cash/paypal. Only drawback is its messy but thats pretty much every DG. Plus you kinda have to guess where parking spaces are but it aint no thing but a chicken wing.

The store has a variety of products from food, makeup, cleaning products, decorations, otc meds, seasonal items, and clothing. The prices may be a bit high if they arent on sale or clearance. Otherwise, not a bad place if you only need a few items and want to get in and out quickly.
