Went to south pointe mall location in Durham...we have GNC stores closer to our house, but the product we needed Is almost $60 cheaper for the same size bottle here rather than buying it there! I am so very happy that the pandemic brought me into becoming a new customer here!

The customer service at this location is out of this world! Ryan is super knowledgeable, great with recommendations, and very efficient. I have only been they a couple of times, he remembers me, And my reasoning behind what supplements and proteins I get. He is a killer employee, Management is lucky to have him on that team. He’s definitely an asset, tons of passion and full of knowledge. If you are looking for vitamins, supplements, or proteins- ask for Ryan! He knows the products inside and out ! Thanks again !!

Excellent customer service! The item I needed wasnt in stock and the two men that was working not only suggested a similar product that I was unaware of but they were very knowledgeable and gave me very good advice and tips and made sure that I understood how to properly use the products they suggested. Even convinced me to signup for the points program. I will definitely be returning.

I disagree with the previous poster completely. The staff at this location is extremely helpful and friendly. I received excellent service when I came in a few months ago, and I was just looking for one product. Now Im a more regular customer, and I continue to return to this specific location because of the expertise and approachability of the staff.

Great place for Supplements. All of the staff is more than willing to help. Ryan, Frank, Aaron, Dave, and Zac go above and beyond when you walk through the door. Always running specials and deals. 👍

Today I visited the Vitamin Shoppe looking for vitamins to help with lactation and when I tell you this location has excellent customer service I mean Ive never had better service.I got home and was so excited to tell my husband about my awesome experience. The staff was knowledgeable and very informative.I walked out with two products I am excited to try and a smile because of the kindness of the employees.

Went into this location for the 1st time today. Was asked by a male associate if I needed help. He directed me to what I needed. After I found what I was looking for I continued to browse. The associate started dusting the fixtures around me. I moved to another section of the store. A moment later the same associate came over and started dusting around me again. I turned the corner and went down an aisle. Lo and behold, there he was again watching me and pretending to dust. I resented the fact that I was being followed throughout the store and decided to make my purchase and leave, but then I saw a product I had been looking for for ages so I went down the aisle to check the price. I turned around and noticed another female associate the next aisle over staring at me through the fixtures. She promptly scurried away once she saw I had spotted her.Word of advice, Vitamin Shoppe associates: If youre going to follow your customers around the store like theyre criminals, then at least make the effort to be discrete. I made a purchase, but only because it was something I desperately needed. Ive shopped at other Vitamin Shoppe locations for years and have NEVER been treated this way. Needless to say I will never shop at this location ever again. I wouldnt advise anyone else to do so either, not unless you like being stalked.

I credited this store with helping me restore my health. That was 5 years ago. Over the last year though the store has in my opinion downgraded their service tremendously. Is management courteous nice and helpful, sure they are. but Ive had a couple of things happen over the last year that have completely turned me away from shopping here. I do not like supporting online business as much as I do local so it pains me to write this. But if you want my true and honest opinion dont do business here. One example is I bought something less than $20 based off the advice of someone that I didnt know they were at another store. But nonetheless within three days I realized I bought the wrong item and I tried to return it I was told that no we cant take returns because of covid 19 just keep checking back. So I did five more times I got so aggravated that I decided to not buy a single thing until this was resolved which led me to buying products on Amazon which is very easy.I was told to just check with corporate on their website and they would announce when you could finally return an item well I just did that today July 5th 2020. I actually called corporate and I was told that youre screwed Mr Birds song you cannot return that item at all. And I explained to them everything that was told to me and they simply did not care. Keep in mind they were aware they were talking to a customer to who has spent thousands in their store. They were rude and completely uncaring that I was not happy. And thats fine I simply just will not do business here anymore if they will not correct this injustice lol. I will also suggest to everyone I know to not do business here, not only this store but the company itself.

I had a bad experience at this Vitamin Shoppe. When I first entered the store, the employee offered to help. Once I found the area I was looking for, the employee offered his opinion about what I should get. I indicated that I did not want that type of product and did not need further help. After a while, the employee came back over and wanted to know why I didnt want to take his suggestion. He also started asking a bunch of personal questions. I think this was highly inappropriate and I will steer clear of this store.
